And we only lost 72% of our value.
Not a bad day.
How do I upload an MP3 of crickets chirping?
I am not "falling" for any value or the library.
I was just pointing out that Smite claims everyone is lying except him, when that is patently false.
I find this email to Smite from TH interesting.
Smite wasn't hired by Valcom to digitize these tapes.
Joel Wertman was. Joel then farmed the job out to Smite.
In this email, TH is claiming that Joel (wortman) was paid.
If that is true, then Smite needs to collect from Joel.
Even if it isn't true, Smite was hired by Joel and not Valcom, shouldn't the person who sub-contracted the job be the party responsible for paying the bill?
Also, Smite has claimed in the past that he already had the tapes sold for over $2M to someone in Dubai. He has threatened to sell them or already had sold them numerous times on this board. So when Smite says things like "Yep all lies, but not from me!", one has to wonder about his mental state.
See old posts from almost a year ago.

That is a good question, Smite.
I have largely stayed out of your tiff with them, but it seems odd that they can afford this deal with the Roys if they are not allowed to pay old debts.
I think I would side with you on this point.
They need to get this 10K out soon.
The delay is unprofessional and they are also losing the interest of investors.
It did air over Thanksgiving.
Many on this very board reported seeing it.
No - They specifically addressed this in the last call-in meeting.
So, Valcom hired Joel Wertman to digitize some tapes, who in turn farmed the project out to you.
The courts then put a freeze on Valcom's finances which caused them to not be able to pay Wertman, which meant you didn't get paid.
You then took Valcom's property and sold it for $2.15M?
Kimble -- Wrong again!!!!

It sounds like a fraud to me.
I am not sure how it can be legal to put out the press releases about production being online and all that when Textraw claims they have had no communication with Davies at all.
I would say "we have covered this many times...", but I don't know what to believe any more.
Textraw used to have a blog post on their website about MM - stating they were no way associated other than through a different failed merger.
They took that post down when they put up this new one about the failed deal with ALCL. On the blog page, you can still see reference to that post on their twitter feed.
Well the canceled merger claim isn't in a press release.
I found it on a blog maintained by the creator of Textraw.
Does the market know of this claim? Without a PR, I doubt many do.
It really sucks, but it appears it was all lies.
I (like I suspect many did) lost a little money here.
Not much, but more that I like.
It is one thing to lose money on a risk that doesn't pan out.
It is something entirely different to lose money when the "CEO" apparently lies and stiffs his own business partners.
I feel bad for Textraw, which appears to actually have a good product, but continues to align itself with VCs that screw it over.
I can only imagine that everything we think we know about AlgaeTek is also just a smoke screen.
I sold all my shares a while back during the slide, so I have no vested interest anymore, but seeing this kind of deceit has me interested in how it plays out.
Textraw Merger Cancelled!
http://textrawinternational.com/blog/?p=93
I had hoped to make the call today, but my schedule has changed.
Hopefully someone will post highlights ???
:) Thanks
LOL.
It is a sign for you to sit longer!
:)
GLTY
I was just looking at the Google Website.
They don't list their phone number on their contact page. Google is a SCAM!
Also, I have a friend that claims to live in Denver, bu I know for a fact his address is in Aurora (a suburb for anyone that misses the reference). He is a FAKE!
I just looked (this is serious) at the Potomac Falls VA, High School.
Guess where is it located? Sterling! Just like IFS. That high school is a JOKE!
OK - I am done with this argument.
It exists. It is a real company.
Their website is ugly.
Who cares as long as the check clears.
GLTY, too.
I admit I am fairly new to playing this "investing" game, but I have done pretty well over the past year.
ALCL is still a company I believe has a couple of good products with algae and Textraw. Hopefully others will see that, too.
It may not happen today, but I think I am still sitting on a winner here.
IT, huh? Sorry to hear that. ;)
Seriously though, my story is completely true.
Though, to be fair, we do lots of custom software solutions.
My software isn't stale 2 years from now, it is constantly evolving.
My point was, "Don't judge a book by its cover".
Just because the IFS website "is a joke" means nothing.
It isn't like companies looking for capital are googling for VCs and picking the one with the best website.
Oh well, I will gladly wait for a quarter or two while revenues from Textraw and the algae farm keep pouring in. I think we will see $1-2 million from AlgaeTek this next year and probably $1M+ from Textraw, too! IMO.
That is why I didn't like the paid promotion.
If the news would have just come out with no pump, we would be sitting at .04 right now. The pumpers scare everyone off, or only attracted flippers.
Excellent news this AM.
I agree that the only way we get this loan is if they think the share price is going higher.
Go ALCL!
Feel free to read through the PR's, but basically the companies were given stock.
I guess that is why we are waiting for the next report.
Textraw and AlgaeTek are both recent acquisitions, so the revenues weren't in the last quarter.
I certainly am not claiming to know how much revenue they are creating, but I am sure it is more that $0.
Time will tell....
I like Textraw, but I am surprised I am about the only one that ever mentions ALCL's other asset - AlgaeTek.
IMO, this is where the big $$ potential is at.
I know there hasn't been much news on it.
I hope that changes soon.
Algae (for biodiesel) sells for big $$$ - like $7,000/lb!!
That means AlgaeTek can produce $3M worth of algae per year.
After the 2nd facility comes online, who knows, maybe an additional $3-6 million per year??
We covered that a while ago on this board.
That other company even had Textraw listed on their website as if they owned them. I think a buyout deal had been proposed but it never went through. It didn't stop that other company from claiming they owned Textraw and even had it listed as such on their website.
Textraw is legitimate. Just Google it. You can see lots of landscape companies that carry the product. You can also find several reviews.
They also have several distributors, and are growing their distributor base. If you don't have a distributor in your area, they will ship directly to you - I called and asked and was told it was no problem for me to get some.
$500K in Textraw revenues.
Plus they were fully expecting at least $500K revenue from AlgaeTek within the first 6 months.
Sounds like revenues wont be a problem in the next quarter!
Not that they hurt the stock so much, but they just created so much noise.
If I were drawn in here today on the buzz, and saw all the noise they created I would have been turned off. So, maybe they didn't hurt the stock, but I don't think they did much to bring in serious investors.
Rather, if people just looked at the news for Textraw and looked at the potential that AlgaeTek still offers, they probably would have realized what a great opportunity this company really is.
This stock has great potential.
No need for the noise.
There is so much more potential still to come.
Yes, we had great news today.
But there is more great news to come IMO.
Did you know algae sells for ~$7,000/lb ?
Did you know AlgaeTek (Owned by ALCL) can make $3,000,000 worth of algae per year?
Did you know that ALCL already has one facility producing algae and was bringing a 2nd online?
And best yet, the Obama administration announced matching funds for these projects. So whether ALCL bought or build a new plant it didnt matter. We only had to pay 1/2 price for the 2nd plant since we got the other 1/2 in grant monies.
The news for Textraw is awesome.
But, what happens when the news for Algaetek breaks, too?
In my opinion, this PPS is going well beyond what we are seeing this AM!
Big thanks to Sterling (and to MT for finding the news).
Awesome news out today!!
I hear ya. I read your posts.
I have been a board lurker for a while - never having anything useful to post.
I am still a fairly new guppy, I admit, but I saw the potential in this company long ago and have been sitting on it for quite a while.
Any news that comes out about Algaetek being online will be awesome for this PPS. They were shopping around for a 2nd building (deciding if they should build or buy existing square-footage). If that news is included, then watch out!
Textraw is great - I will give you that.
But I think Algaetek is where the real money potential is.
Upwards of $3M per year with the 1st facility.
A 2nd facility being built that can produce even more algae than the 1st.
I bought ALCL before the Textraw merger was announced, and I was super happy after the Algaetek acquisition.
I agree.
That plant should be online now.
Will be great to get the news that it is running and producing $$ (as well as algae)
AlgaeTek can produce $900K -> $3M worth of algae annually in its current facility. ALCL is hoping for $500K in the first 6 months.
Also, a 2nd facility is planned as soon as the revenues from the 1st facility can allow it to be constructed.
I agree that Textraw is big, too.
I am just not as clear on how much money that should be bringing in.
I know they had unfilled orders waiting when the merger happened, and that those were supposed to be filled immediately. Hopefully that means there is literally a line of people waiting/wanting the product.
I think ALCL is a great buy at these prices.
I just don't think the turn around for profit is next Thursday.
That is okay with me, though.
I am willing to keep buying at these prices and see what happens in the next 6 months when Textraw and AlgaeTek start producing BIG revenues.
Revenues are coming, it is just going to take a little while. If you are looking to flip this for a quick profit, this probably isn't the right stock for you. But at these prices, why not grab a bunch and see what next quarter brings?
AlgaeTek can produce $900K -> $3M worth of algae annually in its current facility. ALCL is hoping for $500K in the first 6 months. That production is set to come online any day now (last PR at beginning of Oct said within 6-weeks, so it should be right around the corner...). So, next quarter should show that revenue rolling in. Also, a 2nd facility is planned as soon as the revenues from the 1st facility can allow it to be constructed.
Sit back, grab some cheap shares, and enjoy the ride up.
(Yes, I am new to the boards, and everything in my post is just my opinion)
Well, someone just bought at .0249, so we are close!
