This is very unequivocal language from Mark and Scott regarding the upcoming production, the level of purity of said minerals and the benefits associated with the industrial use of the downstreamed metals and oxides.

Yes Koog,
INTC keeps doing what it's been doing for decades, which is not enough anymore, and LWLG is bringing photonics to CMOS, today starting with moving Data around - modulators and transceivers-, to prove the hybrid electro-optic concept which btw delivers 4x the speed and 1/10th the consumed power vs legacy, tomorrow, moving into computation with light-switching-light !?!
Keep your eyes wide-open: decades of leadership about to switch hands...

Hi PG,
I just reposted the text below as an update to the post 2 days ago that got over 18k views!!
Anyone feels like posting it on Benzinga before Dr Lebby is interviewed there in the next few days... feel free to use to repost...
With $LWLG fast increasing SP (+17% in 2 days) , shorts have got to be feeling some increasing pain here!!!
Here was the update of 2 days ago:
Lightwave Logic is a development stage company that invented a type of polymer that is extremely efficient at transforming an electronic signal into a photonic one to be shipped on fiber optic links.
Polymers have been sought in this application for several decades, but historically they have never been able to withstand the types of heat found in CMOS factories.
The founder at $LWLG invented a new type of polymer that offers exceptional resistance to heat and other environmental factors, while maintaining unmatched speed for the internet, all while consuming very low power to do so!
!!! 3x the speed (150Gbps), 1/3 the power (<1V) !!!
The multitude of markets this technology applies to is only matched the size of these markets:
Current TAMs (Data Centers Interconnect, High performance computing...) reach >$40 Billion and based on industry figures, will reach over $100 B by 2030!?!
Additional fast-growing markets will only add additional $ Billions TAMs to the prospects of this breakthrough gem: LIDAR, Displays, Sensing Equipment in the Healthcare field...
After years of research and refining its technology, the company came out with a breakthrough in 2019 and has been working with foundries ever since to finalize a plan for mass commercialization that is about to hit the news in the 2nd half of this year.
Following a very rare natural uplist to the Nasdaq last September, the company has been piling on Institutional Investors ever since, which led Shorts to take a substantial position in the company, and take advantage of the repricing that followed 1H2022. But the company has announced technology transfer agreements for 2H2022, and some are not paying attention.
Courtesy of X on the LWLG iHub board, here's an update on a recent post re the developing squeeze on LWLG.
Shorts borrowed another 550K shares on both last Thursday and Friday.
On Thursday they only returned 375k shares so the net was an extra 175k shares that were shorted, stock closed down 33 cents to $9.65.
On Friday they borrowed the same exact amount 550k shares but they returned 680k shares, an increase of 130k shares from the day before. Closed up 34 cents to 9.89.
So they basically are in the hole a little deeper after Thursday and Fridays trading because the share price is about the same.
The beauty of this is that there are 21.5M shares short out of ~111M outstanding and we are at 10 frigging bucks a share. Ya baby.
It helps if we understand the direct correlation of the price to shares shorted daily as it is obvious from the above that the longs are not selling. The shorts are basically just playing with themselves.
They have to make decisions daily, "do I cover, do I add money to my account or do I short more and get deeper in the hole"
For the life of me I don't know what they were thinking. They shorted a company with a solution to today's slow silicon photonics materials, that is made in lab by a few lab cats, and will be mass produced in foundries that are already in place. Lightwave has 5 foundries working with it, numerous engineers, 2 more foundries waiting to begin production. And to mitigate risk it is in 2 different countries.
Furthermore it reduces energy demand in the data centers, as it is so sensitive that it does not require a component in the data centers called a driver that boosts the signal, the green, green, green crowd will love it. And the US is about to throw money to foundries.
There is a phenomenal amount of info re the company in the pinned message "Lightwave Logic Mega Due Diligence Thread" under the sub 'r/LWLG' for your review.
The latest company presentations speak of a MOAT of IP allowing the company to lay a path to 50TB systems in the next decade. It has been compared to investing in INTC in the 1970s!!!
Folks, investments like this come along once in a lifetime. The shorts are standing next to the bonfire with a leaking can of gasoline wondering what is going to happen.
Enjoy your discovery! Buy and hold and let the shorts feel their mistake.
AR.
Thank you for everyone help!

Unfortunately, I always pack my lunch, because timing is not my forte...
I tried to exercise restraint when Walter talked to me about it when it was trading in the low teens on OTC maybe almost a decade ago... in the meantime, it went up 5x. So what do I know?!?
But I like Chico's shrinking "Still-to-be-done" list which seems to call for a lot of changes by year-end: so I finally dove in!
Thanks for all the good information posted on here and the civil debates: rarity that makes it all the more appreciated.

Hi Frobinso,
And to complement your point with a reminder from GF announcement of their launch of GF Labs on May 19:
"GF has a proven track record of building partnerships with startup innovators, industry consortia, material suppliers, universities and government entities worldwide. Leveraging GF's extensive patent portfolio and deep technical expertise in digital, analog, mixed-signal, RF and embedded memory, GF Labs will harvest capabilities from a broad research platform including the Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre (IMEC) in Belgium, Fraunhofer in Germany, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in the U.S., and the Institute for Microelectronics in Singapore, along with a broad network of university partnerships."
As well a quote from one of their research partner:
Supporting Quotes
"For more than 10 years, we've been working collaboratively with GF to help drive technology innovation across multiple dimensions. The launch of GF Labs will enable tomorrow's more intelligent and intuitive, more connected and secure, and more powerful and energy-efficient technology solutions. We are committed to continue collaborating on advanced semiconductor R&D with GF, working hand in hand to come up with solutions that make the high-tech industry grow."

This happens to coincide nicely with the IMEC presentation of Sept 7-8...

Chico,
Thanks again to stress these GHG benefits that come on top of the ESG benefits highlighted earlier!
And to show again that the whole organization is behind this theme, which will eventually help convincing the large financiers, I wanted to link again the recent Scott Honan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVDoJnLES4E on the subject, from which I extracted this quote:
"... when you Add the potential of REE to the original project, you can calculate that for every one ton of GHG that the Elk Creek is expected to produce - consuming electricity etc... - the value of what we produce should help save 11 tons of GHG on an annual basis!
If you add a windmill for example to reduce the external electric consumption, the benefit jumps to 14 tons of GHG saved per one produced"...
They are focused on building up the value prior to the financing negotiations!
Then will come the CAPEX and OPEX decreases from the re-evaluated L3 processes improvements, then the adjustments associated with the additional economic value of the REEs, all prior to year end...
Have a good 4th of July weekend fellow investors!
The hockey stick move in SP is just around the bend, IMHO,
GLTAL
AR.
Proto,
That's exactly my theory:
As soon as we listed on the Nasdaq, the institutions started buying.
By the end of 3Q21, they held about 1M5 shares. Kept accumulating
The short interest on 11/30 grew to 1,719,480. On Dec 15, it was 2,212,448
Then we had the first of several crazy "at-the-close" volume days, culminating on 12/16 with the 6M shares transfer, with no effect on price?!?
These had been harvested on the volume increase from the previous week.
On 12/31 the short interest jumps to 4,476,575 which pretty well correlates with the institutional increase from two weeks prior.
On 1/31, the short interest has jumped to 8,224,272, which correspond to the 12/15 total of 2.2M, plus the crazy 6M+ volume increase on 12/15-17
Rinse and repeat...
I call for the Institutional interest - net of Funds - ao 6/30 to be near 30M or equivalent to the 18M reported mid May for the period ending on 3/31, plus the 12M shares harvested from volume over the 3 months daily trading average in the period ending 6/30 - Again, excluding the 9M exceptional volume that I direct to Russel reconstitution, even if if was not exclusively collected for that purpose...-.
Just a theory, Please comment...
Not afraid whatsoever about the business prospects: we're gold.
GLTAL
AR.
Koog,
It will be financed at least in half by public funds from the EU as part of a program to secure future EU EO supply chain... Unlike the US, the EU just released a first salvo of funds under the CHIPS Act. Mostly for CMOS so far. Next salvo to come to include Photonics as well... EPIC is working hard towards that goal. No wonder ML spoke of it during dinner...
GLTAL
AR.
Nrdc,
It's over 5x your cost basis and you're complaining?!?
GLTAL
AR.
I don't know about the 4s, maybe high 4s, but there are over 5k contract on $5 puts for the July 15 exp... That's their next target if the market shows any weakness...
AR.
LWL,
Look towards the 9M shares that have been accumulated since 5/31 (volume increase) followed by 6/2 K report, and delivered to funds on 6/24... Those funds want to make this money productive: they lend them to short outfits until news hits. Then they call them back.
GLTAL
AR.
Lewrock, I subscribe to that theory, especially taking into account the overall fragility of the markets in a context of sharply rising interests rates...
Some outfits are just looking at what they consider the weakest preys - pre-revenue companies - and bet on them falling faster than averages in a downward environment.
I also am of the opinion that the K short report was coordinated with the needed accumulation pre-Russell inclusion. But that's also just a conspiracy theory on my part...
Commercialization news and $$$ will change everything. I am not on a clock. And it can happen anytime starting next week!?!
GLTAL
AR.
Spartex,
I think Dwagom is referring to the 2 blocks of about 140k shares, and another one at about 100K that traded this morning...
GLTAL

Thanks for the review Forztnt2,

My mistake, sorry. i read too fast...
P11 says 633 total REE resource
p16 says 765 tons per annum, not to be compared...
AR.
Hi Chico,
Thank you for teh update and the links.
Did you notice the quantity of REE quoted in the presentation on p16: 765kT !?!
That is over 20% the official resource of 633kT quoted inthe PR, and reprinted p11 of the presentation.
This would be excellent news!!
Looking forward to all the good news that is going to start flowing our way starting this month...
GLTAL
AR.
"Common sense..." Allow me to laugh Kerr!
Losing $900 M in AUM in the last year tells me you may be lacking in the above...
Good one!
LWLG ; 3x the speed and 1/3 the power as requested by industry titans...
GLTAL
AR.
Absolutely Carl,
And the ASM presentation, Dr Lebby presented the pictures of the structures that the foundries ran through their qualification lines!
Not only have the foundry partners reviewed the work from LWLG, but they are assessing how this new process will allow them to simplify their manufacturing processes: the PR this morning clearly says that the polymer application will now be achieved in 2 steps vs 6 previously (1 layer vs 3), making the manufacturing easier and faster!! The poling process becomes more convenient, in addition to already being efficacious.
The solution delivers 3x the speed and consumes 1/3 the power of previous transceivers architectures, as requested by leaders throughout the industry (Bechtolsheim from Arista, Booth from Microsoft, the IPS Roadmap from PhotonDelta, EPIC and ECOC, Google, Facebook, just a few examples)...
Partnerships to be completed before the year end for up to two foundries, traditionally accompanied with upfront $$$
GLTAL
AR.
Kerr,
you just cannot write in the affirmative, LOL!!
"... there is ALMOST CERTAINLY a problem"...
Not standing behiind anything they write! What a joke...
All pretend, no bite.
Thanks for fueling our future SP explosive growth!
GLTAL
AR.
Kerr, and edantes (since you're all the same...)
Our research also indicates that only LWLG has published data at international conferences about over 3000 hours of accelerated aging testing, above industry requirements, and nobody else has.
Also you are in the uncomfortable position of having your position declared misleading and technically inaccurate by international industry consortium experts... you know, unlike your report, people with international repute who go on the record and stand behind what they say.
Thanks for shorting by the way, we will enjoy the fruits of your efforts very shortly indeed...
GLTAL
AR.
GP A science experiment is when you do things in your own garage (or lab).
When your products are being fabricated by partnering foundries, and no less than 5 foundries btw, it's not a science experiment anymore.
It's called mass commercialization qualification runs!!!
And it means $$$ are within sight, even if the forecast is not publicly shared at this point.
I mean, how interesting would life be if with no risks?!?
But betting against a product that was evaluated by a world leading research outfit of impeccable repute like the Fraunhofer Institute, established a world record in speed and stability - 3x the speed and 1/3 the power of competing modulators-, is so small you can fit 120 mods where the leading competitor can only fit 8, then your odds are worst than Russian Roulette!!!
With the outlined path to 51.2T system for the next decade, Lightwave Logic just positioned themselves to be, like Intel was in the 70'ies, the leading supplier of electro-optic modulators for the next 10-20 years.
We know of your personal failed history with Lumera a decade ago: do not let it repeat itself by shorting Lightwave now!?!
By joining the Long side, you will build generational wealth for those who depend on you…
GLTAL
AR.
But you see, you are being disingenuous again:
you claim "It's real easy to claim something in theory without demonstrating it in fact."
You are completely disregarding the fact that foundries, that are currently partnering with LWLG and are qualifying the polymers for their PDKs, and for commercialization starting 2H22, have sent pictures of the quality of the work in progress in this presentation here:
https://api.mziq.com/mzfilemanager/v2/d/307dbc8b-e212-48ba-9968-8cef3f6b5188/c751dee2-e881-5e6d-7849-c57852de0aef?origin=2
And so this is not theoretical work!! This is very hands-on, in progress, getting ready for mass commercialization by 2H22!!
The day you remove the statement at the bottom of your report that says: "We don't stand behind anything we write" you can come back and speak with your reputation on the line, like all the members of the LWLG team! Until then, whatever you proclaim has zero value to the LT investors on this board!
GLTAL
AR.
Too Bad TFLN needs a specialized LN fab , cannot prove stable results for the required amount of lifetime performance for the industry like LWLG has proven with no reduction in performance after 3000 hours of accelerated testing, and cannot be scaled up easily in a SiPh fab!!!
Oh well, I guess LWLG is the best after all as described in the performance comparative chart p27 of the ASM presentation here:
https://api.mziq.com/mzfilemanager/v2/d/307dbc8b-e212-48ba-9968-8cef3f6b5188/c751dee2-e881-5e6d-7849-c57852de0aef?origin=2
Thank you for shorting! Don't forget to save for the margin calls: ramping in SiPh foundries with upfront $$$ will get the share price going soon enough! See Ya!
