DRNK merging with/getting bought out from hjoe.
That's why they are going dark, why pay to be registered with the SEC if you know you're leaving? They with cut costs for production and expand their product line by 100%! They will probably be adding a hjoe git R done energy drink as well as the energy shot.
The buyout company is the one that will usually will go up in pps more than the buyer company that's why hotstocked put out a hit piece yesterday so they can buy cheap before the anouncement!
If anyone hasn't noticed, the same promoter is pumping both stocks. GLTAL
DRNK being bought out from hjoe or the 2 will merge, that's why DRNK is going dark. GLTA
99.95% of the stock is held by insiders....6.926,450,874 billion shares issued / 2.6 million disposed. 34 million starting balance at that time 34 million shares 9 million held by insiders 25 million float. Total OS 6,996,869.714 / amount held by insiders 6,962,450,874 PLUS 9 million. Leaves a float of about 26 million.
This is what is in the docs released 3/31/015. The coming PRs will release the Kraken! GLTAL
So it looks like most any shares retail have bought are compliments of a naked short ring. Enjoy the ride people this is going to be fun!!!
I seen those docs, from the content in them that only a little over 2 million shares were sold on the open market and ALL the rest of them are being held by insiders.
Its amazing how some ignorant people are claiming they dumped those shares into the float. There has to of been massive naked shorting to bring the pps down to the level it is now!!! GLTAL
A cautious runner anyway, will need a better catalyst to keep the upward pressure going. A good start though, WAY overdue!
Very insightful post just like a Bloomberg article I read about Magna capital that loans $$ to penny stock companies. Here is the article on loan converting;
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-03-12/josh-sason-made-millions-from-penny-stock-financing?cmpid=yhoo
What they left out of the article is;
I'm sure a lot of these converters use shorting as part of their strategy to get the pps down so they get more shares because the pps dropped!
People say there is no shorting in penny stocks because the risk is to high. Well when a "note converter" knows they will get shares there is zero risk for them to short at will. They will even cover on the way down so they don't have more shorted shares than they have "note" shares plus when the pps goes down they get even more shares. If they can they will cover with retail shares and hold the note shares for when the pps recovers and they will do it all over again year after year.(that's what they didn't tell us in the article) That's why you'll see companies that don't have anymore notes on their books have a run up in the pps once a year and get bled down again. And now you know who pays for the resident bashers on message boards.
Who do you think the "shareholders" were that complained to the SEC about mj stocks going up last year were? I'm sure those "shareholders" were short against the box with more shares than they had because they underestimated how high the mj sector would go last year and shorted to soon. To stop the sector wide run they whined to the SEC and the rest is history. And that's why the huge delay in the sector recovery not to mention not many other stock runs in the OTC so people can't transfer those profits in the mj sector stocks while they're still trying to get retail to sell for a loss!
Hurry up and wait, they can't hold the sector down forever! GLTAL
With them not reporting right now is a really good sign that they are making profits from mj even though people here will say they have none. We need to wait for the S-1 bs to get resolved so they don't get raided by the feds for profiting on an controlled substance. That is the problem with all the companies in this sector right now that are wroth a carp. GLTAL
Hurry up and wait mode.
Yes, I think that bill is why the court ruling kept getting postponed. Maybe the judge will actually rule on the case the 25th this time.(she should its been postponed for 3 months already!)
Here is a link to follow to see if the ruling will be postponed yet again!;
http://edca.typepad.com/eastern_district_of_calif/schweder-marijuana-case/
GLTAL
That's great news, sounds like LATF is doing everything right! With mj still S-1 that makes it hard to report revenues until that is changed. IMO that's why they had to go dark because of how successful they are doing in Colorado!
Looks like politicians are looking into changing the scheduling of mj VERY soon. GLTAL
According to claytrader tomorrow is sink or swim. If it is still swim don't forget with the div news there will be Q 4 and 2014 results still on the horizon. For a run to start now those results may be better than anyone thought they would of been if we start the next leg up tomorrow?
Or this is toast and will fall back in the trips fast! I like the above scenario better. GLTAL
What makes you think they're not part of the sector after listing what they're a part of?
Good stuff G! Thanks.
Hmmmmmmmmmm, what happens after the A/S max's out?
That 105 mill could of been dumped yesterday for all we know. No wonder the gains didn't hold!
Been right there with ya brother for them 1.5 years! Been here for the billion dollar oil pump, been here for that. Been here for last winters pump, YEAH BROTHER been here for that.
Yesterday was pathetic compared to those pumps BROTHER! The volume of last years entire pump in one day that only managed +.0002 increase in pps BROTHER. Step back in reality BROTHER!
Unless there is a short trying to hold this down because they really think a R/S WILL happen is the explanation for the pps action yesterday or insiders dumped the pump before a R/S, BROTHER.
I said with yesterdays volume this sure looks like it is trading like a R/S will soon be here. Record volume only to close 2 clicks green?
The pps in the red looks like I could be right and insiders are dumping before the R/S. Last year when this ran it went from trips to almost a penny in a few weeks with about the same volume as we had just yesterday in one day. If we're not heading to a R/S from yesterdays volume we should of be up 350% from yesterday's volume alone.
How could anyone look at yesterdays volume with a lack of pps movement and not know that someone is dumping? And no it wasn't me, I'm not a sub-penny short.(I wish I had that kind of $$$!!) GL
How does this scam trade over 33 million shares when the float is supposedly only 5.3 million shares?!?!?
LISTEN TO THE NAY SAYER HERE, THEY ARE TELLING THE TRUTH!!
This ticker is a big fat scam like people are saying an ATM for Shaun and family.
This stock is a Roach Motel for your money! Your $$$ go in but NEVER come out. NOBODY is trying to get cheap shares of this garbage because just when you think its the bottom it goes lower. And when its at the total bottom of .0001 it will reverse split and then repeat the process over and over and over again.
I don't usually bash stocks, but this one burned me bad so I just throwing out an FYI for prospective buyers and new owners. I would love for this to go up so I can sell my shares and break even. The best I can hope for is I do better elsewhere to use this one to cancel my gains!
Not trying to get anyone to not buy and not trying to even get people to sell, I just wanted to let potential buyers and holders what this company is all about. GLTA
I got filled today @ .0006, put a bid in at .0006 and slapped the ask @ .008 then got filled @ .006 for twice as many shares.
I think the pps is being suppressed for tax loss selling so someone can buy cheap and dump when it pops next year? All any little guy can do is hurry up and wait for them to release the krackin. Hopefully we see higher lows this year around, that may give us higher highs when this spring uncoils.
That is great news! LATF is setting themselves to be the dominate player in this sector! GLTAL!!!
Actually if a retail investor "fat fingered" a trade they would get the stock at the asking pps. With a spike like this with barely no shares being bought and skipping all the stock sell orders below,only a MM can manipulate the stock that way. It is another BS MM move done to ruin the chart again like they did Back in Feb.!!!!
Last year they had their internal audit out by May23,2013,with the audit taking longer this year may be because they are paying for an external audit.
If that is true,1st Q results must be much better than I originally thought they were going to be! I was thinking just over 700K of profit to give them a .01c per share earnings. If it is twice that it could be .02c a share profit for the 1st Q with a multipal of 14(like what is typical for the S&P) that would put us at .28c per share. But with a rapid growth company that multipal should be much higher,more like 40 to 100x earnings.At 40x for the trailing year earnings that would be slightly higher than .80c per share if they can project that the earnings increase will be sustainable and keep rising in the coming quarters!GLTAL
Wow! I was using the number from Nov. 2013 listed on the I-hub LATF board. So if there was 2.8 billion in the float in Jan.2014,then that means that LATF bought back over 1.2 BILLION shares this year from the float that is posted on the LATF front page from May 22,2014;
http://www.latteno.com/
Thanks for pointing that out rich. LATF=long.
What do you mean by saying this? The float has only gone DOWN this year,even though the outstanding has gone up.
Close to the top of the LATF I-Hub page shows the float at 1,707,369,973 as of Nov. 2013. On the LATF website the number for the float is 1,567,569,973. That is 140 MILLON LESS shares now in the float than back in Nov. 2013.
The extra outstnding shares I would have to say that they were used for stock based compensation(and cash I would guess) to add the evaluation clinics and all the rest in the PRs they said that were added to LATF.
So why would you say that the company is manipulating the stock to "dump shares"? Where is your evidence for that? I would be more inclined to think that shorts are dumping into any news release than the company to try and manipulate the share price by someone saying the company dumps on every news release,wouldn't you?
As early as this Thursday the U.S. House of Representatives will have an opportunity to vote on a bipartisan amendment that would prohibit the federal government from spending taxpayer money to interfere with state medical marijuana laws. We urge members of both parties – and in particular those on the 10th Amendment Task Force — to take a stand for sensible drug policy and against wasteful government spending.
Twenty-two states and the District of Columbia have now legalized marijuana for a variety of medicinal purposes – and an additional five states recently passed laws to allow access to CBD oils, a non-psychotropic component of marijuana that has proven uniquely effective in managing the epileptic seizures that afflict children with Dravet’s syndrome. Florida and New York may well legalize medical marijuana later this year.
A recent Pew Research Center survey found that nearly three in four Americans – including 78 percent of Independents, 71 percent of Democrats and 67 percent of Republicans – believe that efforts to enforce marijuana laws cost more than they are worth. Similar numbers — 80 percent of Democrats, 76 percent of Independents, and 61 percent of Republicans – favor making medical marijuana legally available.
At the federal level, however, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and some federal prosecutors have waged an aggressive campaign of intimidation and interference against state-level medical marijuana efforts. Federal encroachment has persisted despite guidance in recent years from Attorney General Eric Holder to shift federal law enforcement priorities away from meddling in state-level medical marijuana programs. A growing number of federal lawmakers on Capitol Hill have expressed disapproval of these federal actions.
The amendment, attached to an appropriations bill, is offered by five Republicans and five Democrats: Reps. Rohrabacher (R-CA), Farr (D-CA), Young (R-AK), Blumenauer (D-OR), McClintock (R-CA), Cohen (D-TN), Broun (R-GA), Polis (D-CO), Stockman (R-TX), and Lee (D-CA). It’s the best way right now to stop the federal government from undermining both state laws and the will of a substantial majority of Americans.
Stifling federal regulations have made state action on this issue necessary. Despite substantial evidence confirming marijuana’s medical benefits, the DEA has opposed efforts to reform federal policy to acknowledge marijuana’s medical value and made it very difficult for researchers to obtain marijuana to study its medicinal properties.
The federal government maintains a monopoly on the production of only one drug: marijuana. Researchers who get government funding to look for the harms of marijuana can get the marijuana they need for their studies relatively easily, while those who want to conduct clinical trials of its therapeutic value are typically frustrated by bureaucratic obstacles. In 2007, a DEA administrative law judge ruled that this decades-long monopoly was harmful to the public interest and should end – but the head of the DEA exercised her authority under federal law to capriciously reject the ruling.
State legislators and voters have rightfully taken matters into their own hands by making marijuana available for medical use at the state level. Almost half of all Americans now live in a state where medical marijuana is legal to one degree or another. But patients and their families, as well as medical marijuana providers, must still worry about the threat of federal interference in the form of militarized police raids, arrest, seizure of property, and federal prosecution for merely following the recommendations of doctors in accordance with state law.
The Rohrabacher-Farr amendment would prohibit the Department of Justice from spending another dime to interfere with state medical marijuana laws. The amendment does not require states to legalize medical marijuana or stop law enforcement from combating marijuana-related activity that is not in compliance with state laws. It is a states’ rights amendment that saves taxpayer money by removing the sick and dying from the battlefield of federal drug prohibition. Whatever one thinks of marijuana generally, or medical marijuana specifically, it is the will of the people in 27 states, and plain common sense, to let states make their own decisions on this matter. It ought to be an easy “yes” vote for members of the 10th Amendment Task Force on Capitol Hill and other believers in limited government and federalism.
Grover Norquist is the president of Americans for Tax Reform. Ethan Nadelmann is the executive director of the Drug Policy Alliance

Probably to pump it up for when the negative article comes out.
Dude,I was just pointing out that it is possible to short pennies,I wasn't reccomending it.
Actually if you want to short penny stocks you can if you have an account with Interactive Brokers.(IB)
I'm sure there are others as well.GL
Actually that is their yearly profit,but still a great start for an WAY undervalued sub-penny stock.
They reported 1st Q results on May 13 last year,so they should be reporting any day now.
If it wasn't done anymore there wouldn't be stocks listed on the REG SHO list;
http://www.nasdaqtrader.com/trader.aspx?id=regshothreshold
This is the list of stocks that have naked short sales.Currently LATF isn't on this list,but that doesn't mean naked short selling isn't happening,if it is they are covering before days end.
Quite what?
Then why isn't that other company H3sg not stut down and you think this one will be?
Wasn't there just a short seller promotion out for LATF?
Hmmmm...
Sector news out;
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/growlife-additional-shareholder-support-130000104.html
The negative nellies are out in full force today hoping people miss the above news.GLTAL (don't believe the hear say)
They have a similar share structure than others in the sector that had 52 week highs in the higher multiple penny range.
The increase has to be approved by the majority of shareholders,seeing how insiders own more than 50% of O/S shares all they need to do is have a board meeting to approve the increase. That is how it is with most OTC stocks.GLTAL
Ok other eye guy,you keep writing that there were 5 mj stocks suspended,all I know of are 3.(ptog,cann and phot) And ptog and phot don't really count because one is and oil company that was obviously jumping on the mj bandwagon to pump up their pps. And phot is only a lighting company that claims you can grow mj with their lights,which really has nothing to do with mj itself. The third one cann,I don't really know much about that one,but even trading on the grey markets seems to be recovering their pps.
So what are the other 2 mj stocks that make up the 5 that YOU say are suspended?
Great post,exactly what I have been thinking as well. Glad I got to read it before the eye did.LOL

Good point,some people here think the SEC will investigate a company that doesn't report to them based on the PRs they put out. I would think the Secruities Exchange Commission would have better things to do with their time,like reviewing SEC filings.Which by the way LATF doesn't file with them,they file with the OTC.
I would think in a situation like this,that if the OTC had a problem with a companies OTC filings that the OTC would be the ones to look into that company that files with them.
I have seen the NASDAQ ask a company for information in their filings before and the NASDAQ suspended trading,and delisted them.The OTC is also an exchange with that power as well,and if anyone were to halt LATF it would be them. BUT,seeing how LATF is in current compliance with the OTC I don't see that happening any time soon.GLTAL
