same, the uptrend is a sign of comfort for me
crossing 1 dollar is going to get real exciting, know a lot of folks waiting for it to cross to buy in with more
Big Squeeze coming, you can tell because of the futile attempts to discredit the company by bringing up the only small points they can find!
Not much negative here:
-revenue
-earnings growing
-nice trend
-volume
-big company contracts
-repeat orders
-international
-emerging markets
-positive human studies
-product launches
Liking it more each day

Investing based on whether a CEO has a mugshot or not... is NOT a good investment strategy. Maybe look at revenue, earnings, business strategy, news, events, valuations, future prospects, competitors, technical analysis, business experience, etc
I am not investing in the company to have the CEO be a boring angel. I'm investing in a maverick who will take the big risk and bring the big payoff. I'm the type of investor who invests in Apple when it was unpopular and a left-for-dead underdog ($20) and sells when everyone buys the hype and reputation ($400 - $600).
If you aren't going to stomach the risk, you can leave. We all know the CEO's background if we did any research. TBH, it doesn't bother me one bit. I only care about how good the CEO is at business.
If I listened to naysayers like you I would still have a portfolio 100x smaller than where I built it up to. Big risk means big reward. No illusions here, it's a prototype rocket ship on a ride of a lifetime to outer space, not a ford focus on its way to grandma's.
It's not that hard to get a "mugshot", a few more examples:

Bought some shares today, looking good here!
it has been an impressive stock any way you slice it. its too bad shorter folks are hell bent on seeing every company that is not already Microsoft go down to pennies.
if shorts didn't choke a company before it even got a chance to try something who knows, maybe it would actually go on to do something great. i have a feeling there are great stories killed by going public early in the OTC markets and not understanding how ruthless shorters are to point out any flaw in a company's early history. its like mdavy was saying if Facebook went public as a small cap company and tried to start out trading on the OTC it would have been killed before it even started. sure made me think long and hard when davy said that its a very interesting concept and i think he is right about that
guess we will never know so long as sykes is willing to send to his entire email list (never done before) about GNIN to try to trigger a panic and drop the price.
I respect shorting, but destructive shorting is a fine line when there are misinformation articles and campaigns.
not replying to you in specific elk, i dont think ive seen any "misinformation" from you and you tend to be very factual when you post. i respect that. i also respect mdavy because he does the same. i just am getting a little tired of the nonsense with other shorters taking it too far.
they are creating a bad image of shorting. it makes me want to see it banned even though i shorted GRPN when it went public and made a lot of money doing it. anyway, my rant is over just needed to get my thoughts out there.
exactly. and those 2 employees are before the company even started trading as someone pointed out earlier. annual filing is as of december 31, 2012
im pretty sure that means that it is AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2012.
where does it stop? If you saw a company only has 1 employee when it has 2, what about when it has 4 or 5 in its next filing? By june this company might have 10 or 15 employees. Are you going to saw they only have 1?
Where do you draw the line? A lie is a lie anyway you slice it.
with a bit of reading I found this
i'm thinking a good pop above $2 is overdue. powerful buy orders on the bid been watching it all day now
do you not pay attention to all of the rebuttals posted?
gez, i came on the board for 15 minutes and read all the answers and disputes of your claims and yet you act like they don't exist.
you make my head hurt
there needs to be a rule against obnoxious posts.
xx. guess that's what the ignore button is for.
have to respect the buying power here.
another squeeze forming?
that was a nice pop to $2.20
thinking about re-entering for another go round.
$3.30 sounds like a nice number
You can feel the spring winding in the chart. If this breaks $2 with volume its going to be a sight to behold.
There is some real desperation to cover and I suspect a big squeeze and buyin is near
Thanks! Rumors of a big week for GNIN, can't read anywhere without seeing it mentioned somewhere. Might add on the Tuesday... haven't decided yet. I will let the trend tell me where to go LOL
From the sounds of it there is going to be a massive squeeze here
how's the weather over in Gavea?
that GNIN is still picking up volume, some are saying next LEXG. That and USTU are my favorite plays right now... double supreme combo
just got a call from the gecko on this, they are turning on the gas next week. can you say short squeeze?
Don't forget the "Disclaimer": (FIXED)
Copy of the disclaimer I got in my email: http://breakoutfinder.net/images/contact_us/largesize.html
Looks like no laws being broken after all
I don't think the performance of PUNL has anything to do with the CEO's "performance"
I have a four letter contribution: PUNL
trending really nice today
i don't think the point of buying PUNL is to hope the business succeeds...
For those wondering how high PUNL will go, read this.
PUNL is being promoted by the same group that did IDNG. Multiple posts on this board confirm. The promo doesn't even start until Monday!
IDNG was one of the best promotions I've seen in a long, long time.
Chart of IDNG Promo (same as PUNL promoters)
**sorry for post-split chart, i do not have any screenshots of pre-split prices
You must multiply all the prices by 5 to get the real price during the promo (there was a 5 for 1 split after the promotion)
The low was $0.45 before the split at the end of Feb 2012.
The high was $4.83 before the split at the end of June 2012.
apples and oranges. the last one from this group ran for 4 months straight
you mean when WILL the promo start. It hasn't even started yet. It doesn't start until 4 o clock today according to my source and other people have confirmed this on the board here also.
same promoters behind it.. don't know how people miss that part
wow, great entries
but better late than never to this party, i'm still early as far as this promo is concerned
wow nice entry. you're really going to enjoy these next few months!!
Please read the whole reply, it's worth it.
Unfortunately (not helping my case here, lol) ... I have to disagree with you on two of your points.
But let's start with what I do agree with:
#1. Good point, they are opinions. But just because someone posts an opinion (and does not state it as fact) does not mean I cannot post my opposing opinion. In fact, if someone disagrees with me, I would encourage a conversation of the matter. I can be swayed and I read people that reply to me.
If someone comes up with a better reason for believing something that I do, I WILL change my mind.
I am looking for evidence and truth, not blindly arguing for the sake of arguing.
Unfortunately (as I mentioned for asserting my argument that I "do not always argue")... I do disagree with you on two points:
#2. A false opinion or falsely held belief is just as damaging as a false information. This is something I will never concede on.
However, I respect beliefs and opinions IF:
-they are arrived to on reasonable grounds
-if the person has reasoned to that opinion and considered other points of view.
I do not respect opinions that are held in ignorance or in spite of evidence to the contrary (without any rebutle or consideration of the evidence).
That is where I will differ from the majority of the "politically correct" mindset people out there. No, I do not respect beliefs that are held in ignorance. I cannot.
I believe in progress and the facing of facts.
That being said... I DO RESPECT THE OPINIONS and BELIEFS held on this board... BECAUSE (the important part:) people here do indeed arrive at their opinions after considering fact, information and others opinions. I have a deep respect for that, and that's why I am engaging in conversation on this board.
#3. I am not here for the sake of arguing. It just so happens that there are several points of view express that I disagreed with and felt there was tremendous opinion to the contrary that was not being expressed. I do not know of a better way to deliver my opposite opinion than to start with "i disagree and here's why..."
I don't see anything wrong with this.
explaining your ideas for disagreeing is the foundation behind which most of science and our society was built upon.
it allows us to share and exchange ideas.
Sorry for the long post... but I am passionate about information, finding truth and engaging with others.
I am here to have people disagree with me when I raise an opposing view. That is the only way I will improve my ideas (when they are challenged by opposing evidence, opinions and rationale).
agreed, EpicStocks is crossing the line.
and i'm not one to back down from controversy... but controversy and real arguments are meaningful and take into account what the other person says...
...EpicStocks, dude, take a few minutes to read the replies coming at you.
could not have said it better myself
someone has to stand up and say it
but you can't buy $50k of stocks like that. you can only make a few thousand bucks max. they are all cheapies... and frankly, they only work because they musical chairs money on the board. not everyone wins on the board despite your assertions.
it does not work to pick your own stocks.
you will have no other buyers to buy after your board buys.
ATA worked because APS was promoting and promoting strong. you could buy $200k and sell it because they had massive dollar volume and ATA confirmed it was a play. it was basically a guaranteed double or triple on every single play!!!
have people forgotten this?
there was money to be made in the good days like i've never seen in my life.
don't abandon a good idea just because the promoters decided to be stupid. find a smart promoter and keep making money.
I love the idea of ATA.
it just might have to be renamed AT(new promoter)
highly disagree. it's a good idea.
it works when APS, TBX and others are actually promoting stocks.
what happened was APS, TBX and others got stupid.
and I mean real stupid.
They went for the quick cash grab instead of thinking long-term.
they decided to screw people on this board for a few bucks in their pocket today, and sacrificed their entire reputation for a lifetime.
not a good trade IMO
they are stupid.
all we need to do is find a smart promoter.
one that wants to be around and be the #1 for years and years. that promoter will not screw people like us. they will do good promotions.
promoters like that exist because they are smart.
just look at IDNG. ran from 60 cents to over $4.50 and ran for 3 -4 months. insane! they are starting up on PUNL and its already gone from 50 cents to $1.20.
these IDNG/PUNL guys will be around for as long as they keep doing good promotions and they will get bigger and bigger with every one they do. that's how APS got big.
there are great promoters out there. you just have to stop beating a dead horse.
The moment APS starting baiting and switching, was the moment we should have moved on to another promoter.
sounds good in theory. but won't work.
here's why:
you'll have a big run while every on this board buys. great, right?
but now what? who do we sell to? you need new suckers coming in (that's the way the game is played). all that will end up happening is a musical chairs between people on this board. no easier way to screw ourselves that to try to play a pick all by our lonesome.
you need to play SMA, NIA or another new group like Bollinger because they keep new suckers coming in all the time. that's the only way to make money on a promo.
it needs to be promoted.
the only people that buy on "volume" and "momentum" are us. everyone else (the people this message board sells its stock to) buys because of an advertisement they saw in their mailbox.
cold hard fact of the matter
how's this for DD?

somehow i doubt that.
