Nice move today.
FYI the 50 Week Moving Average is inching upwards for the FIRST time in HISTORY. It looks like it will continue inching upwards as long as MSLP's PPS stays in the double digits.
Thanks for the update.
11.69 just got hit, currently sitting on 11.65
3000 @ the bid @ 11.45 and only 700 shares between there and 12
MSLP is strong right now
I said it unrealistic for you to EXPECT big moves. It only leads to disappointment. I have aspirations of a $20 stock, but I don't EXPECT it. Simply my best case scenario.
Also, Arnold news is not nearly as important as quarterly financials or fully reporting status on the NASDAQ and that is surely a fact not an opinion. If we get news of an uplisting date then expecting a 5-10% move is realistic, but I don't think Arnold news is as important considering how much the stock has moved recently.
Call me whatever you want, but in the end the stock will trade on fundamentals so that is what I focus on. Not additional sponsors, partners, etc...
Good luck to you. I think we are on the same side, but you seem to be seeking more immediate gratification...and of course message boards aren't the best place for explanations.

No, but I also don't think this stock should shoot up after every news announcement.
I see that the stock has basically tripled just this year alone which is unsustainable in the long run. After huge runs, stock generally...
1. Keep running
2. Consolidate
3. Retrace
MSLP has more or less consolidated which is very bullish IMO, but it also tells me it is tired.
The longer it consolidates the more likely it becomes that it breaks out in either direction (I bet upwards). Therefore, I am content with MSLP consolidating here for a while. This will allow the stock to build a new base and will create a better technical picture. One major technical indicator that I have been watching is the 50 week moving average which has never turned up in the history of the stock, but is now starting to show signs of bottoming out.
I think the current pps shows a minor undervaluation(I think this is due to low transparency). However, if MSLP uplists and becomes fully reporting with better transparency then it will deserve a much richer valuation IMO in regards to P/S etc.
I feel like this could be a 20 something dollar stock in 2014, but for this to happen they will need to keep the O/S under 10m, will need to uplist, continue to improve revs, and show Q over Q consistent profitability.
That's just my 2 cents
Welt
Why have such high expectations? That only leads to irrational exuberance and disappointment if your wildest dreams don't come true...
You said 5-10% which is IMO unrealistic to EXPECT. Sure it could move that and more in either direction, but expecting huge moves is unrealistic.
News is good...
Stock is up...
It's that simple...
That's unrealistic. The fact that the stock is rising period on average to slightly above average volume(compared to the past two months)is a positive. Many times stocks like these(pennies/small caps with large bid/ask spreads) fall on days like today.
IMO this shows that MSLP is not as highly manipulated as many on here believe and that investors are acting rationally to news.

Investing at the right time is key. Idk about you, but I'm happy.
I remember when I liked MP there were less than 10,000 likes
For disclosure: I purchased 970 shares @ 10.55 back in June and have since sold 870 of them. Coupling the recent moves with the times I traded MSLP in the past puts my cost basis of my remaining 100 shares under $6.
I'm holding these remaining 100 shares long-term in my Roth IRA so I don't have to pay taxes on the massive capital gains I expect to collect in the next few years. I fully expect MSLP to double, quadruple, or even break $50 in that time!
I probably won't be posting here too much from now on since my position is rather small. However, wishing everyone good fortunes and that MSLP goes TO DO MOON!

Somebody going to slap those 11.09s or am I going to have to get this thing goin?
Today was a frustrating trading day, but patience will pay off.
It seems like there is a lot of support near the 11 level. We need the 11 support to start taking on the ask rather than sitting back and getting filled at the bid for this thing to move.

Hmm alright well just try and google MSLP 16 price target. There are a couple of notes on it...
5/20/2013
Ascendiant Capital Markets
Initiated Coverage
MusclePharm Co.(MSLP)
Strong-Buy
$16.00
My price target for MSLP is $16+ in the next 60-90 days. I think I may be stretching it, but then again on a P/S basis it would not be unreasonable. Also, per Bluher's comments today, there are many many many announcements coming soon.
Oh and don't even get me started on the technicals. MACD, RSI, and the MAs are all looking good. Just need some more volume.
I'm sure many of you already know this, but there is actually an analyst who currently has a strong buy and a $16 price target on the stock. This target was initiated about a month ago and was a 12 mo target.

I don't have a lot to say, but I don't blame you considering it's your own money.
One thing I will say though is that this stock could move north of 12.50 and have another breakout in the near term. The lack of shares at the ask is good and bad. Good because it would not take a lot of cash to move the stock up and bad because it's hard to get someone to buy such a large gap up. However, people get frustrated if they don't get their bids filled and the stock could take off at any time.
I figured there would be selling into the volume that came with the event. Just happy it closed green. I am not selling yet
Excellent post!
Also with FitMiss, Bluher said that they have launched very slowly to make sure it is done right which is a completely different strategy than the past. This tells me they are being honest about their desire to increase margins and boost profits.
Yes that's right about convertibles, to reduce derivative liabilities. Thanks
**Rattling off the top of my head, sry
Brand new line coming out so there will be MusclePharm, FitMiss, and a NEW ONE
Uplisting request for NASDAQ should hear back in 2 weeks and possible uplisting 4-6 weeks later
New products in general in the upcoming 30-45 days
New endorsement very soon
The apparel line is simply a marketing tool which they may adjust in order to possibly turn it into something like the Tapout line
Should be profitable going forward with margins 35% +
Convertible owners have been asked not to convert to shares in order to prevent dilution
FY13 sales of 105m
There may be some other stuff too, but this is off the top of my head. I'm sure it will be available to view other than live so check it out on redchip.com

Q&A was fantastic
That might happen, but I'd hate for the spread to get so large. I guess we will have to wait and see.
I'd be real surprised if they did a split considering the just had a reverse split.
I think a higher stock price is good for MSLP even though the volume suffers and the bid/ask spread is pretty large.
If and when they up-list, I would expect to volume to drastically pick up and the spread to tighten.
To be fair though when you posted it was flattening out. However, it won't trend down unless the stock closes below it which it hasn't done since January.
The 50 DMA is not sliding down at all whatsoever. It's gone from 10.21 to 10.49 in the last 6 trading days.
In terms of the actual stock. The 200 DMA is starting to curl up which is a really positive sign. The 50 Week MA is also starting to gain even though it is gaining just tenths of a penny per day.
Technical picture is much improved though and momentum is gaining.
A lot of energy for sure and really good pump. Maybe too much flavor and too many fillers though...made my stomach a lil uneasy.
Sippin on some Assault right now for the first time. Gonna be a good morning workout!
I am playing the stock purely on TA right now. I think it has a lot of potential to bring some large volume, but do not know the intense details related to their drug trials.
Anybody looking to play CYTR, right now is a great time to open a position.

Gold already up about 2% since it hit 1422 just a short while ago. I don't think we will see 1422 during normal trading hours tomorrow, but 1433 may be in the cards (the 200 week moving average). That level should be very strong support and I expect prices to stabilize near there in the coming days. May be a great buying opportunity here.
Worst timing everrrr
You all ready to go for a RIDE!
Thanks for pointing out what it is...I thought it was a bank stock
This ETF is doing terrrribllle right now it just keeps falling as the day goes on. Terrible to seee...
The close was pretty strong, but volume still wasn't all that great. Today's green helped stomp out the downtrend that had been forming the past couple of days though which is great news.
I think the beginning of next week will be more of the same sort of drifting about where we are now between .395 and .425, but really it's anybody's guess. If we get news, an earnings update, or some more volume things could pick up quick though. Personally, I feel good about the middle to end of next week.
