Just wanted to remind everyone what has transpired for Platinum Studios this month (Headlines from Dec 2011):
• Platinum Studios, With Rights to Over 5,000 Comic Book Characters, Retains Stock Signal Investor Relations - Marketwire(12/22)
• Platinum Studios Appoints New President - Marketwire(12/9)
• Platinum Studios Conducts Shareholder Call - Marketwire(12/7)
• Playtech Welcomes Cowboys & Aliens to the Slot Machines - Marketwire(12/1)
We are definitely heading in the right direction! Not many bargains out there -- IMO this is a bargain at $0.0035 PPS. Anxious to see where we go from here.
Going to buy another $100 worth of stock this morning.

Platinum Studios New Year! 10 cents PPS!
That is what I am hoping for -- that is my new year's resolution, to hold onto PDOS until it reaches $0.10. I will then sell some shares, just enough to recoup my original investment; will hold onto whatever shares I have left.
Let's see how long it takes for someone to come "crashing down" on my New Year's wish.
PDOS4Life
True -- no arguement there. Here's hoping that 2012 will being more investors onboard.
PDOS4Life
In the Twilight Zone? I'll take it...
If you are a Platinum Studios’ shareholder or just follow PDOS because of some other reason -- yes even you bashers -- then I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. 2011 was a "Landmark Year" for PDOS... I am not trying to be funny here. We came out with two movies, one not so good, the other not so bad. Yes, our share price dropped like a lead weight in water, but I believe the term "Landmark Year" is not referring to the share price, rather to the accomplishments of Platinum Studios.
I believe we are starting off the year on a good note. Scott (our CEO) is making a concerted effort to do the "right things" in order to put Platinum Studios on the map. Not really much room for us to fall any more... I believe the table has been set -- IMHO now is the time to stock up (pun intended) on PDOS. Average down if you need to; buy now so that you will have a nice little portfolio when the price starts to rise. PDOS has numerous projects that will come to fruition in the near future and let us not forget the licensing fees we have on past projects (e.g., C&A, Dylan Dog, etc.) no matter what your opinions may be on what they may be worth.
I believe we (shareholders) have spoken and Scott and his team have listened. Let's keep talking and doing our Due Diligence (DD) so that we can stay informed and hopefully when 2012 comes to an end (a year from now) we can look at the phrase, "Landmark Year" from a different perspective – from the perspective of the shareholder.
PDOS4Life
Wow, 2 for 2 kimble...so the questions begs to be asked. Will PDOS ever regain the heights it once dwelled at -- will it ever see 7 cents again? Will it ever see 20 cents again? Or is it doomed to continue to drop until it is so low, you will need a microscope to see what the PPS is at?
I feel that they are trying... they may not have understood the "game" and now they are adding players that will allow them to play a full 4 quarters. Heck, even the Colts are winning now.
I choose to believe that they will turn this around. As a matter of fact, as soon as one of their next projects comes to fruition, I see this coming out of the cellar and hitting 52-week highs. Just give it some time... with more publicity, comes more investors.
We will see... What are your thoughts kimble? Where will PDOS be a year from now?
Will give you props when props are do kimble. Good prediction. What do you think will happen on Thursday?
It hurts that many people have lost their shirts here, yet I choose to remain optimistic. I have no other choice! I have written to our CEO and I anxiously await the next conference call to hear what will be said. I hope they address the fall of the PPS. Heck, we were once over 7 cents, not too long ago. Now we are at one fourth of a penny -- and that was after a 66+% jump today. If I had to do it over, I wish I had never heard of PDOS. I know that sounds harsh, but it does not make me feel too smart that I gambled quite a bit of money on a penny stock. I am sure there are some that make a killing on penny stocks -- not me.
So I sit here not trying to think too much about the money I have lost -- I keep in my mind that until I sell, I have not lost anything. I hope that one day PDOS has the interests of many millions of potential investors and we get the chance to ride this up and up... only time will tell.
Would I buy shares now -- is this a good time to buy? I might as well throw another $100 into Platinum Studios. It will be an early xmas present for me. Heck if I bought when PDOS was at 6 cents a share, why not buy when it is at $0.0025 a share?
Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!
PDOS4Life
I can only write about my thoughts/opinions... I believe Scott may have mentioned Japan during the early stages of forgeign distribution because Japan may be a good source for the licensing of C&A.
After all the box office numbers were in, Japan pulled in approximately 7.3% of the foreign gross. Who knows if Japan will still generate revenue for Platinum Studios? Who knows what types and amount of revenue are being generated because of our exclusive license agreement for C&A?
Hopefully this will be dicussed during the upcoming shareholders' call.
PDOS4Life
...I should have prefaced the post by saying the comments were from several months ago.
Had not seen any posts here in a while so I decided to post something just to make sure it was still working. Guess it is working and there just is no interest in writing about Platinum Studios.
Oh well, conference call coming up in January. Have a Happy Holiday...
Brian, this is old news (see post # 19929 and replies). Quite common in the movie industry where you will have someone file a lawsuit claiming copyright infringement. Although unfortunate, it is something all successful companies have to deal with. Most likely will be settled out of court for an undisclosed amount of money.
For all those who wonder how DVD rentals mean anything to PDOS, read the following from our fearless leader Scott Mitchell Rosenberg.
"...Cowboys & Aliens! On the boards, I've seen posts intimating that we stop talking about C&A. Well, we don't just talk about C&A, but C&A is still something we need to and want to promote. We want new licensees, we want existing ones to expand their deals, and the movie hasn't even opened in Japan yet. We're not going to stop commenting on it just because a few people think it's over and we should move on. Our intention is to build it as an ongoing revenue source. We've always said that. Seems kind of silly to ignore a movie based on our IP that's done over $100M in the US and still going in Europe, and then will generate millions more in DVD and TV sales. People get mixed up. We do not share in that revenue. But the promotion and attention that comes with box office sales, DVD sales, TV penetration and so on can help us generate revenue from current and potential licensees. Not every studio makes a lot of money if a hit song emerges from its movie, but it sure as heck wants the song to hit number one on the charts. It's advertising for the brand.
C&A The #1 Best Selling BLU-Ray on Amazon.com!
The #1 Best Selling BLU-Ray on Amazon.com!
You were not looking at the Blu-Ray list of best sellers. The link you provided was for hot new releases in tv and movies. Here is the correct link showing C&A as the #2 best seller is:

Holy Smokes it just moved up to the #1 Best Seller in Blu-Rays! Nutriman you were correct...it did not stay at #2 for long! Good observation!
Cowboys & Aliens is #2 on Amazon.com Best Sellers in BluRay. Quite an accomplishment especially since it is ahead of such titles like THE HELP and HARRY POTTTER. What does this mean to us investors? Additional advertising for our brand.

I started a new job so I have not had the time to post my thoughts concerning Platinum Studios (PDOS). Though the share price is still quite low, I am happy to see that Scott Mitchell Rosenberg is whipping up some frenzy and is trying to put the Platinum Studios brand out there.
It does my heart (and wallet) good to see this type of media buzz. It may not be prime time commercials on TV, but PDOS is doing what it needs to do so that more and more people start to notice it.
For a penny stock, I must say I am very proud of Platinum's efforts these past few weeks. They are definitely heading in the right direction, regardless of what a few naysayers may post here. A good analogy would be to use politics. If you do not like Obama, it does not matter what he does, you will always criticize him. If you are a Democrat, it does not matter what the Republican party’s stance is. Likewise, if you want PDOS to do badly and are a PDOS basher, it will not matter what Scott and team do – it will never be enough.
With that being said, buy low, sell high – buy now to average down. The price is such a steal! Once I get my first paycheck, you can be assured, I too will continue to average down.
This is a good time for us all. Initially the price will not move much, until the volume continues to rise and more and more new blood gets injected into our sharholder's veins <-- hmmm, not sure about this analogy...haha... in other words, John Q. Public and friends learn about PDOS and start buying shares.
Remember this ridiculously low price... soon we hit a penny and then there will be no looking back!
PDOS4Life
I stand corrected... when you go to the Platinum Studios web site, it lists Top Cow?
Thanks for the heads-up.
This morning I picked up a USA Today newspaper and lo and behold, right smack on page 3 of the Life section, next to the Movies column, is an article about Top Cow comics! For those that don't know, Platinum Studios owns Top Cow. Title of article is 'Artifacts' aims to build Top Cow's readership.
Here is the caption under a nice picture in the newspaper!
Visit comics.usatoday.com for an exclusive preview of Artifacts issues 12 and 13.
Great article featuring Platinum Studios Top Cow comics! Only negative is that nowhere in the article do you see Platinum Studios or PDOS... otherwise a great way to start a Tuesday morning. The USA Today article will bring more fans, possible future investors to Platinum Studios. Way to go Scott!
PDOS4Life
...you care enough to post your views.
The conference call was a good start. A little on the short side, but it was informative and if someone was new to PDOS it would provide the basics so an investor can start doing his own research. We have another conference call next month. We are heading in the right direction. Hope to see a spike in the share price on Monday.
Good job Scott -- thanks for "listening" to your shareholders.

Check out Platinum Studios' new YouTube Channel, working on uploading more videos shortly!
The blan space above represents my non-answer to the reverse split comment.
Just bought 72,000 shares @ $0.005. I think it is a good investment... I really cannot see PDOS dropping down much further. Plus with the release of Cowboys & Aliens BLU-Ray and DVD coming out, it may shine some light on PDOS. We will see...
...I am sure the upcoming conference call will spark some interest in the stock as well.
PDOS 4 Life
Is it correct to stay holding strong at $0.005? Or should I be saying, holding on at $0.005? Either way, may be a good time to buy and average down. I am getting ready to buy some more shares at this price. Don't think it can drop much lower.
PDOS4Life
Great research Madddog. This is why I read this board, to gather important information about Platinum Studios. Your post was refreshing after having to sift thru msg after msg where the back and forth was becoming almost too much to bear!
Can't wait for some of Scott's projects to come to fruition. Good times coming.
PDOS4Life
Can you guys shell out the money so you can rant and rave privately. When I log onto this board to read about PDOS, the last thing I want to read is back and forth banter between folks that are on different pages. No matter what you write here, the other side will always disagree.
I realize that everyone here is entitled to their opinons. It is just that I wish there was a way I did not have to read this back and forth...
Oh well... still PDOS 4 Life
PDOS = $0.005
...guess I will have to resign myself to the fact that a share of Platinum Sutdios is worth 1/2 of a penny! Amazing -- not sure if I should buy some more at this price or just step away for a few months to see what this does. I am leaning towards stepping away...
PDOS4Life
Good responses. I appreciate your honesty.
Not sure if our comments here have an effect on the PPS of PDOS. Would be curious to find out if we all decided not to sell any of our shares for the remainder of the week... wonder if that would have any effect on the PPS? I for one am not selling anything, but will continue buying; just bought 45K more shares.
I do not think it would be legal to ask you all to stop selling. But in my humble opinion, I think that would be the best way to raise the PPS.
Your thoughts?
What will be most satisfying will be when PDOS is back to the 7 cents and above range... then we will see how many bashers we attract. Too many positives not to buy at this ridiculously low price.
PDOS 4 Life
...Let's hope this coming week continues to bring us triple Ds:
No, get your mind out of the gutter, I mean, Daily Double Digit gains!
Has anyone noticed that the so-called posters that want to warn us about the evils of PDOS only come out when PDOS does well? Bashers or not, why is it that they are nowhere to be found when the volume is low and the price is even lower?
For those of us that know what Platinum Studio is worth... keep holding long. The future is bright!
PDOS4Life
The upcoming BLU-Ray/DVD release of Cowboys & Aliens on Dec 6th will most definitely put C&A back in the spotlight. There is a new technology that will be debut that will allow users to interact with the movie – this may attract additional techies.
Regardless, it will rev up publicity for the C&A franchise. IMO C&A was a mediocre movie yet it may still pull in quite a bit of revenue for Platinum Studios. Let’s see if the Dec 6th release spawns additional merchandise which means additional revenue for Platinum Studios.
These are the questions I sent in to Platinum Studios:
1. Why is it that Platinum Studios, and Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, do not communicate with shareholders? I have invested in another company (JCOF) and they had quarterly conference calls to discuss any important information. I remember they had a shareholder's call in so that the CEO and Financial officer could discuss the upcoming reverse split. The shareholder's conference call at least allowed us to get specific information from the company.
2. The recent addition of shares totaling 2.5 billion. Can you explain why this was done? As a shareholder, does this not make my shares less valuable?
3. Any news on upcoming projects? I am aware that several projects are destined to hit the big screen; Atlantis Rising being one of them. Rather than get this type of information from a board, it would be extremely helpful to have someone issue a PR or for Scott to discuss this during a shareholder’s meeting. Announce projects that are currently being worked for delivery to different media outlets (e.g., movies, TV, comics, etc.).
4. Can you address why Platinum Studios has dropped in price from 7 cents a share to the current sub-penny prices? What type of information can you pass on to us shareholders so that we can regain confidence in the company? As shareholders we have invested in the company and deserve to understand why we are taking such big losses on our investment.
5. Many posters, mostly bashers, constantly bring up Scott's pay. Can someone use metrics to show that Scott is getting a normal salary compared to comparable companies?
6. Can you discuss the company's debt and what is being done to pay it off? Can you say when the next quarterly report is due out? I can tell you that during the last shareholder's meeting with JCOF company, they alluded to the fact that the upcoming quarterly report would contain good news.
7. Can you put to rest the rumors about a possible buyout from Disney? It is annoying to keep reading about these rumors. While we are on rumors, any other rumors that you have heard -- it would be a good PR to dispel them at this time.
8. Can you discuss what if any profits were gained from Dylan Dog and Cowboys and Aliens? Maybe discuss the structure of both those deals. To date, those are the two most famous deals for Platinum Studios. Can you discuss the money spent to produce Dylan Dog? Looks as if the bulk of production costs were picked up by Platinum Studios – is this correct? Or did Hyde Park also have a substantial piece in investing money for this?
9. Do you have a detailed plan to pay off the company’s debt? The debt is making us all nervous.
10. Can you discuss some of the deals in place (past, present, future) that will provide revenue for Platinum Studios?
11. What was going thru Scott’s mind when C&A premiered and how did that change as we were getting beat out by the Smurfs movie? What were some of the good points about the movie and what it did for Platinum Studios? What were some of the bad points?
12. It would be interesting to hear any anecdotes that Scott may have involving stars like Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde. If he were to produce a weekly post on your web site, that could share some humorous times or even any info that us shareholders are starving for. Remember, as a shareholder, we live and breathe Platinum Studios. Many of us remember the old days of comic books and for us, PDOS was a dream come true. Please awaken us from the nightmare that is the current sub-penny share price.
13. Do you or Scott have a personal message to the shareholders that have lost their life savings on PDOS? To receive a personal message from our CEO may not be worth the money I have lost, but it would dull the pain somewhat.
14. Can you share the biggest upcoming news? In other words, is there anything pending that will be good PR for us?
15. Is there a share price that will knock us off the market? In other words, what happens if we drop below $0.001 a share? Are there any limits as to how low we can go?
16. Does Scott have any plans to market or to somehow get the Platinum Studios name and/or ticker symbol (PDOS) out to the public? You have my approval to market the Platinum Stud shirt. Platinum Studios where the …ios from the end of Studios is falling off so that it reads Stud.
17. Can Scott expound on some of the deals he has made to market the C&A brand?
Reducing debt is great news... excerpt from Quarterly Report:
In December, 2008, the Company, through its subsidiary, Long Distance Films, Inc., entered into a promissory note with Standard Charted Bank to fund the production of "Dead of Night" in the original amount of $13,365,000. The amount due on this note as of September 30, 2011 was $4,916,665. As of October 14, 2011, the balance has been reduced to $4,621,655 through the receipts of funds other licensees.
...if you deem that there is nothing to ask Scott and his company then unfortunately I will just ignore your posts from now on. Best of luck with all your future endeavors kimble.
I want to suggest that anyone else here on this board may want to do the same. I am not here to tell anyone what to do, but by responding to someone that does not even care to ask questions to the company but continually posts negative news... well in my opinion someone like that should not get any time from any of us. I am not saying we form some sort of protest to ignore all negative posters... but why would we want to waste time on someone that does not even have the decency to ask the questions after all the negative comments...?
Enough said...
PDOS4Life
...if the nail is in the coffin then why are we up over 17% today? Also you both have a lot to say here on this board. I am hoping you can send in your concerns and questions to Platinum Studios so they can address then during the upcoming conference calls.
Your efforts here on this board, may be questioned from time to time, but if you really care about PDOS and its shareholders then do the right thing and make sure Scott and his company are aware of your concerns.
Looking forward to the conference call...
PDOS4Life
kimble I am sure everyone here "appreciates" your vision into the future, but just because the stock price has dropped, does not mean you have insight into what is going to happen. The fact of the matter is that low volume translates into drastic fluctuations in price. Until Platinum Studios becomes more visible, the price may dip further, and even small gains may be wiped out due to the fact there is not enough volume to sustain higher prices.
As a PDOS shareholder, I believe in the company and in my humble opinion, Scott is doing everything in his power to put Platinum Studios on the map. Please let us not forget that PDOS is a penny stock that is vulnerable to major price swings. If someone puts it in his/her mind to start buying PDOS stock and wants to stockpile as many shares as they can; well right now is the best time to do that.
If you choose to sell then so that you can try to make some money with the ups and downs of the price, then good luck to you. But you run the risk of selling and getting caught with your pants down. I for one will not sell at these low prices. I like what I am seeing...
As an educated investor, these boards are fun and amusing and information can be weaned that will help me to do my due diligence. But my goal is to invest in a company that I believe will prosper and will provide me with a nest egg for the future. Regardless of what others think, my money is with Platinum Studios and Scott Mitchell Rosenberg. My belt is firmly fastened and my pants will not be falling down any time soon. They may be ragged yet; they are still there protecting me. I firmly believe in PDOS as an investment. I can sell anytime, but I choose to hold long. Our time will come…
