Not sure what brought me here again...after so long. Just a warning to others. I lost over $50,000 rolling over my 401k account into an IRA. I chose to invest all of my $50K+ into PDOS. Needless to say, I doubt I will ever see that $50K again. I don't know what happened to make the shares drop so drastically, but that is the chance you take when you get involved with penny stocks. I had visions of all this money I was going to make...Only thing I did was to artificially inflate the price of PDOS that one day I foolishly spent almost $35,000 buying this stock. Needles to say, I hope that one day this stock will rise again, but even when Cowboys and Aliens came out, it just briefly had an effect on the stock.
Good luck to any other fools out there that are stuck with shares in this loser.
Not going to be surprised anymore -- when you invest in Penny Stocks, 9 times out of ten, you are gambling away money you don't really need. So if you did something as stupid as I did, and rolled over your company 401(k) and then invested all of your hard-earned $100+K trying to get rich overnight -- well then you deserve the fate I received. That $100+K is now less than $5K.
Lesson learned here is NOT TO INVEST money you cannot lose in penny stocks. Don't care what people say. A nice target fund will do you better.
Good Luck
PDOS4Life <-- don't have a choice at this point!
P.S. Suffered thru some serious depression where I had bouts of not being able to breathe, irregular heart beats - all that stuff. Can say that I am back to normal now, just with a constant reminder that my 5 million shares of PDOS are just sitting there collecting dust. Luckily for me, my other company 401(k) is around $50K and I have it invested in a target fund. May have to work a few more years until I retire, but then again, I have my health back and a great family that supports me and has forgiven my stupid investing practices.
...that is the sound of the boat leaving the dock. If you did not get off, then you are about to go on a very long ride. Translation -- if you are still holding large amounts of PDOS stock and your average price per share (PPS) is over a penny... then prepare yourself for what I believe will be a very long time before we are able to sell at a profit.
It saddens me to say that, but I have given up hope that my hard-earned investment capital will ever make it back to a healthy 6-figure sum. Trying to use penny stocks to maximize my investments was like trying to hit the lottery. I should have known better.
Best of luck to all here... I am signing off. Over and out.
PDOS?
Thanks Tyrone -- very well written. I believe I will NOT invest in PDOS at this time. Instead, will wait this out and hope the day comes when I can sell my shares at a profit.
PDOS?Life
...again no concrete proof; it is very entertaining reading all this without even a smidgen of proof – makes me wonder about people's intentions. Actually, not sure why, but all these posts that "smash" PDOS and Scotty are making me wonder if there is an ulterior motive.
Come market open, I am going to buy again -- have a sneaky suspicion that people here are trying to mislead others. Will track my purchases and see if all this bashing was to line the pockets of a few shrewd investors. Will give weekly updates on my purchases and how much I have gained/lost since all this Scotty bashing started. PDOS has way too much going for it to be at this ridiculously low price. I realize that there are questions about spending and questions about Scotty, but until I see concrete proof, I choose to believe that Platinum Studios is going to do a reversal of fortune here and in time will be back to a price that will allow me to “cash in” my shares and make a small profit.
PDOS?Life
...still no solid proof -- I rest my case. Please read all posts here with a grain of salt. I choose not to let my emotions get the best of me. Platinum Studios is at a very attractive price right now. Just My Humble Opinion (JMHO).
Is it the right time to buy? Only you can answer that...
PDOS?Life
Please, for my benefit and the benefit of all the folks that are thinking about investing in PDOS -- provide proof of your allegations -- that Scotty has stole money from his company or better yet, from us.
PDOS?Life
Have been busy lately and have not had the chance to post here in a while. Just wanted to say, that it seems a bit tacky to constantly bash Scott Rosenberg for everything. I am not sure what has or what has not happened, but there are several posts here that are in bad taste. You can comment on a stock, a CEO without delving to the depths that I have seen here.
I am not happy with the PPS of PDOS. I have lost money with this stock... and my opinion to others when buying into a penny stock:
...don't invest money you cannot lose.
I cannot say anything bad about Scott because I don't know him personally. As an investor I can say I am very disappointed with PDOS. But it was my decision to invest...Scotty did not twist my arm.
Is now a good time to invest in PDOS? Not sure...
Is it a better time than it was when PDOS was at 7 cents? You're darn tootin' it is!
Will PDOS ever get back to 7 cents and beyond? I hope so...
Moderators, please scan the posts and remove anything that is slanderous, anything that really has nothing to do with PDOS / Platinum Studios. I come here to read about Platinum, not about rumors about the CEO.
Everyone has their own opinion... I choose to remain positive since I hold several million shares of PDOS. I can tell you that I am not buying anymore because I have not seen enough to get me to buy.
Let's see if this slight upward momentum keeps going.

You and me! Would love to see PDOS at the $0.06 range. Unfortunately, I think the only way to see that in the near future is for me to dream about it...
Still holding long out of necessity.
PDOS?Life
I know how you feel there Ernie. I really thought I had a goldmine when I first bought PDOS. Really was my first try at penny stocks... now I realize why most smart investors stay away...
I too am sitting on my PDOS shares, hoping for a miracle.
PDOS?Life
...actually more than 90% Mikey. I will say it as it is. I did not do enough Due Diligence on PDOS. If I had, I would have known not to stay LONG in this stock.
Still it does not mean I will just sell my 4 million plus shares for pennies...haha... actually I would not mind selling for pennies! LOL.
Actually Mopar, not getting the facts is what got me into this situation. I await SMR response. Seems like there are still people trading this stock...
PDOS?Life
Every time I have written Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, he has always replied and has given me a very detailed answer. If not him, always someone on his staff.
I have written to Scott this morning and await his response. Let us not jump to any conclusions here. Though this may not be good news, it is not a death blow. Please do not have a "Lynch Mob" mentality -- let us get the facts first.
PDOS will still be traded. Let us see what the PPS does today. Will be back with more once I hear back from Platinum Studios.
PDOS?Life
Excellent post -- probably one of the best posts I have seen here. Good job Tyrone; wish I would have had you for an advisor back in July 2011.
;o(
When I invest money into a company it is because I feel so strongly about the company. It was a tip from my "infamous" brother. But his tip was right on the money because he told me to buy and then sell immediately, that same day. I did not listen to him and instead kept my shares and kept buying. I liked the fact it was a company that produced comics. Made me think about my childhood.
Yes, I did speak with Scott Rosenberg on several occasions. I am not mad at him because I chose to invest. He did not twist my arm. He has a company to run and I choose to believe he is doing what he needs to in order to prosper. I don't want to believe that this was all a pump & dump...
Very true Mopar, many people advised me against spending my hard-earned money on PDOS, but as always it comes down to risk and I was willing to risk the money. People on these boards can be right and wrong -- they were right when it came to PDOS.
I should have, would have, could have... no sense in saying what I could have done.
It won't be the first time I have lost in the stock market, and I am sure it will not be the last time. I remain positive because I have a good job and I have my health and my family. I will miss the chunk of my 401(k) that I have lost, but won't realize it until later on in life.
Who knows? Maybe now that it has dropped all the way down, and I am no longer buying, maybe now it will rise? Maybe the folks that hold onto a lot of shares will start trading / selling / buying and doing everything in their power to raise the price of the shares.
It is all guess work... you can do all your Due Diligence, all your research and still come out losing, or winning.
No more penny stocks for me... Work hard, earn a good living, and invest wisely... that means no more PDOS purchasing for me.
PDOS?Life
I'm done! Well-Done... sorry folks, but I cannot continue to buy any more shares, even if it means averaging down. $0.001 is something I never expected when I bought back in July 2011 for 6 cents a share.
But then again, every time I have "touched" something here on the market it has gone down. So now, just maybe now that I am out...who knows? Maybe this will start its run upwards.
As for me -- I am tired and ashamed that I have lost a lot of money here. My family depends on me to make wise decisions for our future. This was not one of them.
Good luck to you all...not sure what I will do with my 4 million plus shares? A valuable lesson learned on penny shares. No matter how much we believe in a company, most penny shares will not make the average investor any money.
As for Platinum Studios and Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, I hold no ill will. It was my decision to invest. No one twisted my arm. I wish him nothing but the best moving forward.
PDOS?Life
Somewhat sad that a 1/100th of a penny increase can actually be a 7.69% gain! WOW -- I guess I shouldn't complain since a 7.69% gain is just that: a 7.69% gain.
Hohum...better than a loss.
PDOS4Life
OK, so here is my strategy moving forward and my reasons for this specific course of action:
1. Transfer the $1,000 from savings to checking.
2. Initiate a transfer from my bank to my E*Trade account.
3. Once the funds have cleared (should not take longer than a few minutes), will put in a Limit Buy for PDOS as follows:
a. $1,000 -$7.99 (trading fee) = $992.01
b. $992.01/0.0014 = 708,578.571…
c. Why did I go with a limit price of $0.0014? That has been the lowest that PDOS has hit, so I am figuring that PDOS cannot go any lower…and if it does hit the “magical bottom” of $0.001, then I will have lost roughly another 28.5% on my investment.
4. I am willing to take that risk, because I believe that PDOS cannot continue its downward trend. I choose to believe that Scott and company will turn this around and that my shares will soon be worth much more.
5. If I am wrong, then I have lost another $1,000 – nothing compared to the tens of thousands I have already lost.
6. I have also put an end – a STOP – on all future investing into PDOS. Even if it continues to drop, I will not buy anymore shares.
7. I will remain PDOS4Life and see where this takes me…
Scott, if you are reading this… make me proud…make us all proud to be Platinum Studios shareholders.
PDOS4Life!
When I invested in Platinum Studios back in July of last year, if someone would have told me, "Hey, you don't want to do that!" I would have scoffed at that person. Well after suffering a loss of over 95% of my investment, I find myself wondering how in the world did I come to the conclusion that risking my money in a penny stock was a wise thing to do.
I have learned a valuable lesson, one that hurts most in the wallet -- not my present wallet, but my future wallet -- the one that I will be carrying with me once I am in my late 60s.
So where do we go from here...? (Sounds like an old 70s hit) ...please tell me...where do we go from here?
Do I continue investing trying to average down the ridiculously high price I paid back in July 2011? Do I sell and hope that PDOS continues to drop, so that I can buy back when it hits $0.001? (Many people have been calling the 1/10 of a penny as the bottom). I am at the crossroads... I just put $1,000 in savings... do I dump it all into PDOS? Do I stay clear of PDOS and just hold onto my shares and pray?
Do I trust in Scott and Platinum Studios; that they will turn this "plunge" around? Let me digest this a bit and I promise to come back this weekend and have a strategy to move forward with. Do I get out now and suffer the biggest loss of my stock market trading history? They say, until you sell, it is only a "paper loss."
Hmmm...
Will be back with my strategy shortly...
PDOS4Life?
Good response BOOSJIM. I too, am tired of folks that just bash and bash and bash... never ever backing up their claims with DD or responses from Platinum. Sounds a little like my children when they are not happy with something. I just ignore most of them anyway. I know PDOS has dropped since the days of 7 cents, but they are heading in the right direction. Scott and company are turning this around and soon, there will be many that are caught with no shares.
For those that are playing the up and down game -- buying low and selling higher -- you have been pretty lucky these past few weeks. If caught right, you can make a pretty penny. But if you get caught selling when PDOS takes off, good luck trying to get back in.
I choose to hold rather than going for the quick profit. I believe my share of PDOS are worth more than the sub-penny prices we are currently seeing. If and when I sell, it will be to recoup my investment. That will not be any time soon...
PDOS4Life
hahaha -- I do owe everyone lunch...hahaha...
I stand by those words -- may be buying lunch for everyone though... lol
Read my post...it is just my humble opinion. People make too much of these boards. I am allowed to have an opinion and when you have 4 million shares of PDOS, of course I hope it hits a penny by end of the week. I am allowed to make bold predictions... whether or not they happen is another thing. I choose to be positive.
No hidden news, no PRs that I am aware of, just me hoping... and yes 16r10 is correct, my brother did have some bogus news awhile back. Learned not to listen to him anymore. Still PDOS up to a penny by end of week. That felt good to say!
PDOS4Life
Not that I am aware of.. Just wishful thinking that we will be at a penny before the end of the week. When you have over 4 million shares and have lost mega $$ on this investment, even coming here and hoping for good luck helps. It helps my well-being, not sure how much it helps the stock go up.
PDOS4Life
I held all my shares and never sold... PDOS kept going down and I just kept buying more. 4 million shares later...I was able to average down to $0.02775 per share.
Hoping to recoup my investment sometime this new year.
Keep those "fluff" PRs coming...heck any PR is good news!
Yep -- you could categorize it as the same type of info... haha... good one 16r10 -- except this time I will owe everyone lunch if it does not happen.
We hit a penny before close of business on Friday...mark my words, or I owe you all lunch.
;o)
PDOS4Life
Someone, several folks bought 50 million shares of Platinum Studios yesterday. Sure that means there were also folks that sold 50 million shares. So which side of the tracks are you going to be on?
For me, I can spend $50 to buy 20,000+ shares! Twenty thousand shares! Even if this just goes to a penny, that will be over a 300% investment on your money! If you happen to buy 100,000 shares at a cost of approx. $240 and it hits a penny we are talking about your investment now worth $1,000! And just for the sake of numbers -- if you happen to have a cool grand laying around and invest in PDOS -- if it were to hit a penny that cool grand would turn to a very cool ~$4,100. And if we continue and PDOS were to get back to its 7 cents range your $1,000 would turn into a very substantial $29,000! WOW!!!
I will continue to add to my position on Tuesday. I know what side of the tracks I will be on... Good luck to all.
PDOS4Life
I have not been following PDOS as much now that I started a new job -- just don't have the time anymore. Here is my humble opinion (MHO):
If you bought in when PDOS was at 4 - 7 cents, then it is too bad. I know, I bought quite a few shares when PDOS was in the 6 cents range.
If you are new to PDOS and have yet to accumulate any shares, now is a great time to buy! How much lower can it go? =vs= How much higher can it go?
I wish I would not have heard about PDOS until now...I would be buying like crazy. Heck I could have been buying 15 million shares at a time.
Just my thoughts... signing out...
Best wishes to all of us...

Scott Mitchell Rosenberg's five favorite comic book adaptations
Thougt it might be interesting to know a bit about our CEO...
Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, the creator of the original Cowboys & Aliens graphic novel, picks his favorite comic book adaptations.
Men In Black
I’d never seen the Men In Black as the protagonists before, so I thought it was cool to do a movie from their point of view. It was a really good adaptation and it’s much funnier than the book.
300
The producers talked Frank Miller into having an adaptation made of his comic. The result shows how you can make a movie that’s to all intents and purposes panel for panel from a comic but with appropriate changes.
Iron Man
This was a terrific example of taking a comic that was relatively unknown to a wider audience and making it fun and relevant. Director Jon Favreau took a chance in casting Robert Downey Jr (pictured) but he was excellent.
Batman Begins
What really works here is how seriously the character of Batman is taken; that just blew me away. Batman’s been done in so many different ways but this was the first time he was taken truly seriously, as he is in the original comics.
Spider-Man
I like it when a character is brought from a comic and tossed into the real world, and it’s a sensitive adaptation. I’m not sure that we need another reboot but I always find it exciting that comics can do that. Some people are bothered by it, but I like change.
Thanks listening now... to the shareholder's call.
There are ways to educate others without being so darn harsh and rough around the edges.
- There are many here that bash PDOS and most shareholders will read and just shrug their shoulders.
- There are others that will post information about Platinum Studios and let others make up their own minds.
- Then you have others that will spin a positive thread no matter what...
The really good posters will write a concise message that relays a certain tone (whether positive or negative) and weaves a short story that captures the reader's attention.
If you want to be heard then you must be able to tell you side of the story and not alienate others. It can be done...

Anyone know where I can read a transcript of the PDOS Conference call that was conducted on Jan 3rd? Was traveling that day and could not call in...
PDOS4Life
What I find shocking is the over 30% increase yesterday! With hardly any major news being put out, we are seeing nice increases! I know we are still far off from the days of 7 cents, but with all the new information coming out and the new year approaching, now is a good time to be a Platinum Studios shareholder! IMHO
