"...Cowboys & Aliens! On the boards, I've seen posts intimating that we stop talking about C&A. Well, we don't just talk about C&A, but C&A is still something we need to and want to promote. We want new licensees, we want existing ones to expand their deals, and the movie hasn't even opened in Japan yet. We're not going to stop commenting on it just because a few people think it's over and we should move on. Our intention is to build it as an ongoing revenue source. We've always said that. Seems kind of silly to ignore a movie based on our IP that's done over $100M in the US and still going in Europe, and then will generate millions more in DVD and TV sales. People get mixed up. We do not share in that revenue. But the promotion and attention that comes with box office sales, DVD sales, TV penetration and so on can help us generate revenue from current and potential licensees. Not every studio makes a lot of money if a hit song emerges from its movie, but it sure as heck wants the song to hit number one on the charts. It's advertising for the brand.
