Ditto on SE being the Man!! So be it if you lose on a few stocks, because you will surely make up for it with just one good one!! Made a killing on AOI.V myself Wildcat!! Thanks buddy, I surely appreciate the wisdom from you and SE.. Not everything goes to plan with stock investing, but I just try to live for another day and keep battling..
Hello JRT,
What were your impressions of Dan Lloyd after meeting him in person? Is he a good commander-in-chief for the company?
Thanks
Junk, just curious how long ago since you talked to management at Superior? Lets hope Dan gets this back trading again and everything is on the up-and-up..
Thanks
Why are you thinking we have another 6mths before relisting? Just curious.. Thanks..
"Called once and got through today.
I will now chill for another 6mos, no other option for me.
Hopefully you'll get through . I used the number on ibox."
I called 4 different times today and no answer all 4 times... Guess I will call tommorrow..
I am calling tommorrow!!
Who told you SIOR would be re-listed on Monday? I would think they will need more time to get listed again...
Wildcat, any guesses as to what may be happening down there in "Sooner" country?? Maybe some oil revenue?
You would think they could give us an update as to where they are at the present time... Just dont understand what they are afraid of by giving us just a review of whats going on with the re-listing process?
I'm sure I can sell them a few shares at .20 so they can finally have a piece of the action, so they arent so angry about not having been able to have been in at under .02.. I would have ONLY made 23 times my money at .20 if I were to sell (LMAO)!!
Eco,
Couldnt agree more.. If they are pumping oil at the time of re-listing the share price is NOT going down like some on this board actually believe.. All these posters here that repeatedly say "This stock is junk--LMAO" will be saying "This is a wonderful stock I regret buying--LMAO"... Lets get this bad boy re-listed!
Its kind of hard to trade between .10-.20 NOW since it is currently delisted remember? Try and read what I wrote once again so you can hopefully understand it better.. I love this "SCAM"!!
Eco,
I believe this thing will explode when it does start trading again.. You have instant credibility for any potential new investors with Devon Energy doing the majority of the drilling on these leases.. SIOR could easily trade between .10-.20 in the first week of it being re-listed.. If SIOR has a few wells pumping oil(money-in-the-bank) by the time it is re-listed it will explode out of the chute, in my opinion.. The biggest leap in stock price for an exploration company is going from exploring to actually pumping it out of the ground--$$$$$$$.... We just need to get it back on the board trading again!!
Wildcat,
How many drills does Devon have drilling for us out in the oil patch currently? Are they drilling 1 well at a time, or do they have more than 1 drill they will be using?
Thanks W.C.
Does anyone on the board here know if we have the lease/options in Kansas that were reported on this board last year? That sure would be nice if we still/do have them along with what we currently have in Ok.. Sure could be some very exciting times ahead!!
Wilcat,
Of the "original wells" that have been recompleted and are now in operation, what would you guess as to flow rates on these? Do you think flow rates are decent on these wells?
Do you think Superior still has rights to leases in Kansas? I know there was talk that last year they may have had something like up to 15,000 acres in Kansas..
Thanks Wildcat---Superior!!
Wilcat,
I laughed my ass off when I read this!! GOOD STUFF MY FRIEND...
"SIOR will come into full bloom like a bouqet of beautiful Easter flowers"
SE,
I am liking what I am hearing here.. Definitely sounds like a SUPERIROR 2013 to me.. Keep up the good fight SE! Do you know much about Plymouth Oil SE?
SE,
Whats your ballpark guess as to when we could be up and trading again? A few months? TIA..
SE,
Good to see our fearless leader back here on the board!! Can I say it?
SUPERIOR!!!!
Still sounds like music to me ears..
Eco,
I wish I would have bought a boatload more of shares before the suspension! Hopefully all the naysayers on this board will sell me some when it gets re-listed, I am HOPING it will tank to less than a penny when it starts trading again but I probably wont be so lucky though..
It is interesting they would make changes to there website since the revocation(Friday). Makes me believe they will actually due what they say and get this relisted again!!
Wildcat, are you referring to the top of Superiors main page where it says:
"Superior Oil & Gas Co. operates as an oil and gas exploration and development company. It has interest in oil and gas leases, totaling almost 8000 acres and counting in Oklahoma and Texas.
The company was incorporated as Western States Resources, Inc. in February 1989 and changed its name to Red River Resources, Inc. in March 1997. Later, it changed its name to Superior Oil and Gas Co. in June 1997. Superior Oil and Gas is based in Calumet, Oklahoma."
Is there anything else you picked up on?
Why would SIOR even bother to post an 8-k 2 weeks ago if their plan was to go private? Seems to me quite a few of these penny land companies that are on the verge of getting revoked by the SEC dont even respond back to their requests, they just vanish in thin air without a peep... Makes no sense for SIOR to even answer the phone or respond to letters from the SEC "2 weeks ago" if they were to abandon ship from the shareholders no?
Thanks Renee for your input on this..
Anybody know what this means at the VERY BOTTOM of page 2 of this SEC Revocation? Just curious what this means..
"1The findings herein are made pursuant to Respondent’s Offer of Settlement and are not
binding on any other person or entity in this or any other proceeding."
stlogic,
Thanks for your insight, very interesting indeed to watch this play out.
RickKayne,
I figure at least now its crunch time for SIOR, they will have to "show their hand" ASAP as to what is going on behind closed doors if they want to be a publicly traded stock.. I truly do believe they will get this taken care of and we will be off and rolling.
Just curious here, didnt management issue 14 million preferred shares to itself last year? Wasnt it 14 common shares converted for every 1 preferred? Somebody help me out here, did SIOR do this for the sole reason to deter a takeover? Or, are these shares available to convert at some point to the directors? My point here is if they are convertable for the directors/ Dan Lloyd you would think they have every incentive to get SIOR back on the pinkies no? They would do extremely well would they not?
TIA
Thanks Wildcat! If SE thinks so, then I would bet there is a VERY GOOD chance that it will, if not by Feb. 8th very shortly thereafter..
On a side note here, Geez, it took me dam near 3 hours to read all these posts here on the board this evening! I sure wish I was a drinker, because I would have had 2 bottles of vodka in me after reading all these posts..
Its "All or Nothing" when it comes to what people are thinking in regards to SIOR'S future here thats for sure..
Wildcat, lets both say it together now before I hit the sack here: SUPERIOR!!!!!!!! She still has a good ring to her doesnt she(LOL)...
Wildcat,
What did you find out when you called Dan on Friday? Anything of note he said to you that makes you feel we will get thru this?
Thanks WCD!
S.E.
What excites you the most about the Kansas oil play that we have? Would love to here your thoughts on this.. Much appreciated!
WOW, someone is doing some serious buying here!
DAND,
I thought it was like a 12%-15% royalty that we would get without giving up the shares no? Isnt that more common in the oil business(I could be way off here)? Devon would get a great return without the shares given to them..
If 1 well produced 500/bpd for 360 days= 180,000 barrells/year @ $85/barrell comes to $15 million/year gross revenue.. Say it costs $3.5 million to drill the well that leaves $11.5 million left over for just 1 well.. At 6.5% of the $15 million yearly revenue per well we would get approx. $1 million and Devon would get $14 million..
I would think giving up 85% of the revenue to Devon/whomever without giving up the shares would be more than enough no? Maybe I am way off kilter here but I am sure someone can show me the way here(LOL)..
SE, I also want to say Thank You for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us "small fish" in the pond here. I can humbly admit that I knew very little about the oil & gas business, but in the last couple years have learned an immense amount from you and Wildcat! Whether SIOR works out or not, hope you keep posting for us little guys.. I am sure there are many more speculators that are hiding in the woodwork here besides myself that feel the same way.. Have a Merry Christmas!!
WildcatDriller,
You seem "gitty" the last few days posting here, even if its only one word... Is there something you know that you would be so kind to tell me(I will keep it a secret--ha,ha)? Do I need to load up on shares here again?
SE and Wildcat,
All I have to say is THANK YOU for the Africa Oil(AOI.V) tip you put out on this board(I think?) back in Nov. or December, and of course SIOR as well!! You guys have a GREAT thing going and I just wanted to say I appreciate all the wisdom you give us all about the oil industry, and of course, all the stock picks as well.. There are far more people on these message boards that know a good thing when they see it, and you 2 guys have it going on!! Thanks guys, and dont stop posting because of a couple of bad apples!!
Screaming, how much do you think he is asking for the field?
Looks like Tullow hit oil in Kenya!!! Off to a great start...
