I think that's why Dave did it. I'm having the same problem.

Folks, you might want to refresh your understanding of this before we hand out more posting sanctions on this board. The bottom line is that the topic here is SPCL.
This page describes when/why messages are removed on this site.
Replies to this post will be considered off topic as well.
Again, you need to use your original account.
If there is a mod available to review a TOS report the likelihood is that he/she has already seen the post and would have removed it before it was reported as a TOS violation had he/she felt it contained such a violation. For the most part, Admin are the only folks who are here consistently enough to see the TOS reports in a timely manner, have no skin in the game and more reliably have a full understanding as to what does/does not constitute a TOS violation. That provides a more timely, final and, hopefully, more consistent resolution.
I think you are laboring under the erroneous assumption that it is somehow within Admin's power to create a moderation utopia where all mods are created equal and every board has a contingency of 6 totally competent and right headed mods. And that simply can't happen.
We are very pleased (for the most part) with the assistance our board moderators provide but there always have been and always will be a few exceptions. There will be boards with no mods. There will be rogue mods. There will be mods who have a better understanding of the TOS than others, etc.
Rarely do we "monitor" specific boards for TOS compliance and rarely do the board moderators catch each and every instance where a user of the site has posted a message that is not compliant with TOS.
Each day we review hundreds of TOS reports from users who do not moderate the boards. Many of those reported posts contain TOS violations and some contain egregious violations that were either not seen by a board mod, intentionally not removed by a board mod, or not understood by a board mod to contain such a violation.
It is a system that is designed to eliminate as many of the egregious violations as we can with the assistance of all participants here.
Incredible the number of folks on this board who elected to risk their posting privileges for the honor of attacking other posters rather than posting about the acceptable topic here, the company. If this continues, more of you will find yourselves in the unenviable position of receiving those restrictions as about ten posters here have just done.
ICNB is the topic. Other posters, other companies, the mods, the site itself, the site's rules, Admin, etc., etc., etc. are not acceptable topics here. Get it back on the tracks and keep it there.
Do not reply to this post as such replies will be off topic as well.
Indeed. And maybe a rainbow this time rather than a brown.
Hey Macy. Just a quick word of guidance from someone who's been here a while. Be kind to Shelly. She sort of envisions herself as the mother figure around here. And I'm pretty sure Susan will have a number of questions for you. At least she does for everyone else.
He's older than me so that's the first place we look when we can't find him.
I don't think it's a big deal. My guess is they just needed that one more vote to overrule Dan and me on the toilet seat up/down initiative.
Hi there, Macy. Good to see you here.
Thanks. And to you as well.
Spam...again.

Well, it's either bah humbug or deck the halls. Take your pick. I prefer deck the halls.
Happiest of holidays to all of our friends at iHub.
Must just be an oversight. I'll take a look as soon as I get a spare minute Churak.
Soon? Not sure what that means. Took it out of my vocabulary when I came here, I think.
Sorry, no. I don't think we know that to a certainty and I don't wish to speculate. Although things do seem to have improved very recently.
Thank you. Input is appreciated.
...and I'm quite sure the techs wish they didn't have to do it at all.
Our techs initiated a site build a short time ago. Some lag times are to be expected as a result.
Thanks. Techs are aware of that issue.
Actually, I think he probably does. Then he'll have a few follow-up questions.
Not too surprisingly, they're addressing the issues by trying to resolve them as they have been for several days now. We are well aware of the glitches and have some great techs working to resolve them.
We just agreed to blame her, not to let her post it.
Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome aboard, Susan. Be sure to send your picture to Paulie.
Although I'm not certain, that sounds like something that would be related to the third party mitigation effort. I'm sure the beleaguered techs will address it as soon as they are able.
It is. I like it.
No doubt we're going to have some ongoing issues, at least intermittently, until such time as the techs are able to work out all of the leftover glitches.
Seems to be working pretty well for me with an occasional hangup.
I haven't confirmed it, but someone said it's Putin's revenge because Shelly once put up a site message here that took out half of Russia's power grid.
They've been going nearly around the clock for the past three days. Amazing crew both from iHub and ADVFN.
At least from Admin's perspective a big THANK YOU to the guys who had to deal with the mess today. Geeks are really cool.
