But don't they normally bust the perpetrator as soon as the act is committed? One more related blast at the administration that makes me say, "But this is perfectly normal!": "Fast and Furious"
Assuming it turns out guilt is proven, I'll expect to get notices from law firms about a class action suit!
Maybe we shoul file a shareholder suit against the FBI!
Some interesting points - the "sting" program (involving Cotton), according to the press releases, occurred in March 2010, yet they say they didn't even start the program until 9 months later!
"first announced in December 2010 and designed to combat securities and investment fraud and protect the interests of the investing public.
“The fraud from these stock market manipulation schemes could have defrauded numerous innocent investors out of millions of dollars. Because the FBI and our partners were able to disrupt these schemes early on through our undercover operations, the investing public was protected,”
From the Florida court document:
Plaintiff Securities and Exchange Commission alleges as follows:
I. INTRODUCTION
1. From February through March 2010, Defendants Robert L. Cotton and
Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. engaged in a fraudulent market manipUlation scheme
involving Cotton & Western's stock.
2. Through a middleman, the Defendants paid a bribe to a purported corrupt
So, if the fraudulent activity occurred In March and the authorities didn't act until now, AND the perp was allowed to continue his fraudulent activity during that time, then the gov'ment should be held liable for dereliction of duty and forced to cover the losses of those investors who were allowed to be deceived due to their inaction. Of course, this is the same administration who refuses to prosecute perpetrators of voter intimidation, refuses to enforce immigration laws, refuses to uphold the Defense of Marriage Act, etc., so I guess dereliction of duty, which under normal circumstances could be an impeachable offense, is the modes operandi under this administration!
Thanks to the staunch believers who picked up 2MM shares from me this morning. I guess an 85% loss is better than 100%! I'm gonna just stay away from the pennies for a while!
Looking at history, 10q should be coming out this week. If delayed, we might see it drop to $0.01 or below. This will be the first report since the HER sale. The posts bragging about $188MM in sales neglect to state that $100 MM of that was from HER! I might take a gamble and grab some shares Monday first thing and watch for the 10Q. I hope they haven't committed all of the $33 MM from the HER sale because they'll need a bunch of it now to settle the SEC lawsuit. If the SP drops after the 10 Q, I'd likely take the loss and check back in a couple months. If it hangs in there for a few days or rises I'll consider loading up more. Any other opinions?
Yeah - really weird. When I click on the "TO ORDER" link it pulls up Charleston S.C.. Maybe St. Marfa isn't our girl, but it seems like a strange route - to go so far west if you're heading to the U.S. east coast!
Just got an email alert from vesseltracker.com that the St. Marfa moved. Dashboard view on VT site shows it is unmoored. Don't know if she's our ship or not but could be! Go CWRN
There's one there now (the Clipper Faith) that doesn't show up on the PuertoEnsenada incoming ships spreadsheet (which hasn't been updated since the 19th).
http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shipdetails.aspx?mmsi=312268000
I saw it while checking the VesselTracker site.
Another possibility?!?!?!?!?!
Grajekk, congrats on exercising such restraint! Just think, for the price of a value meal you can get another 1500 or so shares of CWRN!
Haven't been able to spend much time on the board lately, and only have a couple minutes right now. So Vin, how do you know they do NOT have an export license?
Any one have an acquaintance who works on one of the cruise ships frequenting Ensenada who could get regular photo updates? They'd have a nice vantage point from the upper decks, I would think!
I'm thinking very few of us have given Bob a single dime of our hard-earned money - since the vast majority have purchased shares in the secondary market. This stock is a speculation play. If you are buying with money you can't afford to lose, you should probably sell now and put that money into some high dividend paying stocks on the major exchanges. JMHO! Go, Bob, Go!
So jacob, can you tell us when the upside will come and how high it will go? :) .02? .2? 2.0?
By the way - puertoensenada just updated the incoming ships spreadsheet overnight. nothing indicating a ship coming in to carry ore..... :( don't expect a PR before Thanksgiving, but that's alright - I'd like to get another million while it's down!
Couldn't resist picking up another 500K at this price!
Got a strong feeling that a new shipping PR will be out very soon! Hopefully to be accompanied with a shareholder notice!!! GO CWRN! (did I use to many exclamation points there?)
Gloriana is there to get wheat (trigo). All other cargo ships due in over the next week are container carriers docking at EIT2. There's 1ship to dock at EIT1, but it's cargo as listed is "rollos de lamina" (rolls of something in sheet form). This ship, the Global Challenger, will be heading to Long Beach. This info is all from the most recent updated spreadsheet from the port website. Oh well. Our ship(s) WILL come in! GLTA
Amen to that! Short term gains are nice, but not as nice as seeing true value realized and made TRANSPARENT by a fully reporting company listed on an exchange that allows ALL interested investors access to share purchases! Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a bunch of AS converted to rights and warrant options made available to existing shareholders. It would be even better if there were an option to get some PREFERRED shares in the process! Why would anybody want a buyout before true value is realized?
Hey madflight,
Thanks for the info. I do have the free vessel tracker account. Didn't think to bounce against the other source. The last update I saw was the 9th, so I figured it was out of date. Since it's in Espanol, it's easy to overlook things when I do check it! Have a great day and thanks again! Go CWRN (up, that is)!
If anybody cares - I picked up 200K @ .0075 yesterday. Total now 1.5MM. Will we drop into the 6s tomorrow? Got some more dry powder ready!
Can we get some "boots on the ground" info?! Anybody?!
UK cargo ship Gloriana is docked at Ensenada according to Vesseltracker.com (I have a free account so can't get the details. Digital Seas shows it in the Ensenada bay (though that was for 19 hours ago). Best pix available from MarineTraffic.com, but Ensenada position info is 19 hrs old too.
http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shipdetails.aspx?mmsi=235053986
NO CLUE if this is there for CWRN load, but it's got the right specs!
Loreto is STILL hanging out in the East China Sea! Any way CWRN gets paid before the ore is unloaded?
I HOPE the ore isn't being off-loaded yet since the Loreto is still in the east china sea!!!

CWRN just needs to get one of those Commanders that grajekk's been promoting to roll through the fields there. Those cactii wouldn't stand a chance! Do they remind you of John Candy in the first "Vacation" movie? "Sorry folks, Wally World's closed!"
Has the captain of the Loreto been drinking? Check out the vessel's recent track!

Must be boring waiting for your turn to head into port! :)
God willing, I'll be debt free soon from the CWRN paychecks, too! ;)
GLTA!
Regarding variable 1:
If CWRN was to just reorganize, then "proportion" is an easy thing - we'd have the same share of ownership as now ( e.g. A split or r/s results in the same proportional ownership, just a different share quantity and price). The big concern here is the other entities involved and their potential ( AND UNKNOWN) proportional ownership in the new company. If I own 5 % of CWRN, but CWRN only "owns" 50%" of the new company, then it stands to reason that my share of the new company will be reduced to less than 5%. So, worst case there, my new ownership percentage drops to 2.5 ( dilution). HOPEFULLY, the synergistic results of the various entities working together make the whole greater than the sum of it's parts! In that case my speculation starts to become an investment. Of course, I won't be able to judge that until I see all the details, plans, financials, etc. From the new companies second or third quarterly report! Until then, this is just play money that I'm hoping and praying becomes much more than that! GLTA!! GO CWRN!!!
I want CWRN to explode as much as anyone (holding 1.3MM), but let's keep it real! I don't want to be negative, but "75% of their CASH contributions", begs the question - what are/were the NON-cash contributions? The fact of the matter is that we can't rationally make any valuations, and ALL estimates of future pps are PURE speculation! We're all betting (hopefully with money we can afford to lose!) that CWRN is the real deal and that the transparency that will turn this from a speculation to an investment is realized very soon. If all the public information that has been presented to date is true, then we've got a pretty darn good chance, IMHO! Good Luck To All
I would think a reduction in the a/s would be good if it's via cancellation. If that happened PRIOR to the formation of the new company, wouldn't that be good?! 6 billion is a LOT of shares! Regarding the delay in the "uplisting": is it possible there's a skeleton or two in a closet that would disappear after a certain timeframe? Sometimes full disclosure can be damaging, even if only reveals "youthful indiscretions". Just wondering....
Latest update shows Loreto docking tomorrow. Not sure if I am reading the table right, but it looks like one day of loading and it departs. Anybody with some experience here please advise!
http://www.puertoensenada.com.mx/English/report.xls
If marinetraffic.com data is correct, the Loreto must either not be our ship, or it won't be there on the 26th. She's still docked in New Westminster B.C. and it's likely a four day trip to Ensenada - where there are several other ships "waiting"........ Any thoughts? Of course - it doesn't really matter WHICH ship hauls the ore, does it!
Pesquero, can you tell if the piles at the port are at the same pier where the Kriton moored?
I think everyone on the board agrees with you jacobmoore - .004 would be cheap, WWWAAAAAAYYYY CHEAP!!! Can I get an AMEN?
Hope you're predictions come true - but just for a couple days so I can pick up a couple million more really cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!!
According to vesseltracker.com, Loreto is not on the expected arrival list. There are no ships listed as expected on the 26th.

http://marinetraffic.com/ais/default.aspx?mmsi=525014055¢erx=-122.9124¢ery=49.1887&zoom=10&type_color=7
At avg of 13.5 knots it should take 3 to 5 days to reach Ensenada, so we should know for sure real soon!
WOAH! Sharon looks gorgeous! (Focus on the iron, man - focus on the iron!)
100 shares traded at open below the bid! What kind of MM ploy does that indicate?!
All cargo ships currently due into the Ensensda port in the timeframe specified in the PR are larger than the Kriton. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean they will fill the entire ship, but . . .
Here we go!!
"Nothing",but an opportunity to scoop some more shares when the fearful run!
There's a panamax in the port right now. Don't know what it's loading, though.
I guess having that kind of growth in customer base at this point WOULD be WAY too much too expect! (But just imagine!). :)
