Executive Summary : Excelyte®, Hydrolyte®, or Annihilyte® ; Safe Electrochemical Oxidizer and Antioxidant Solutions from Paradigm Convergance Technologies (PCT) LTD
David L. Holcomb, Pentagon Technical Services, Inc. & Scientific Consultant to PCT Ltd.
Electrochemical Activation (ECA) is a process that uses membrane cell electrolysis of water or saline solutions for the purpose of producing temporary, effective oxidizers, or anolyte principally hypochlorous acid (HOCl) , plus other metastable oxidants for use as disinfecting and sanitizing solutions in a number of industries. These oxidants then then degrade within a few weeks to weak salt and water solutions that can be disposed of easily leaving no ecological footprint. As an added benefit, the process can simultaneously produce anti-oxidant or catholyte which can act as an environmentally friendly cleaning solution to replace harsh chemicals.
PCT has designed and built its own equipment for over 20 years which has evolved into state of the art and highly efficient technology and methodology for preparing the highest concentrations of HOCl available in the market today. Pricing for manufacturing HOCl based oxidants and associated antioxidants is based on providing a System-Service Agreement for example: $5000 per month for a four cell unit capable of producing 1000 gallons per day of up to 500 ppm anolyte. Larger or smaller requirements can be priced accordingly. The product can be produced for a few cents a gallon and sold at competitive rates compared to existing technology or less. In surface sanitizing and disinfection this quantity and rate usually provides more than is required to disinfect thousands of square feet of affected surface area. Fogging or atomizing room surfaces can require as little as one pint to one quart per room such as in hotels or cruise ship staterooms.
The chemistry for producing these products is relatively simple and uses simple clean brine solutions and electricity in PCT’s automated membrane electrolysis equipment to provide on- demand or stored quantities of the various unique oxidizers such as Excelyte®, Hydrolyte® and Annihilyte® or antioxidant cleaner. Salt water (NaCl+H2O) is input past the cathode ( negative voltage) side of a membrane to produce the antioxidant sodium hydroxide and Hydrogen ions or Catholyte an effective and safe alkaline cleaning solution. The same salt water ( NaCl+H20) input past the anode ( positive voltage) to produce predominately HOCl (hypochlorous acid), as well as lesser amounts of other nascent oxidants , Cl2 (chlorine) or NaOCl ( sodium hypochlorite or bleach), etc. ORP ( oxidation-reduction potential) is the measure of activity for these products with high positive numbers for the oxidants ( >900) and negative ORP ( -900) for the antioxidants. The pH of the anolyte oxidizers is usually 6.5 -7.5 which is near neutral, and alkaline cleaner antioxidants are pH 12-13. .
From an environmental aspect the Excelyte® and other oxidants produced from a solution of high purity salt and water create a powerful antimicrobial, disinfection package that is both biodegradable and non-accumulative. The crucial active ingredient hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is derived from naturally occurring salt minerals and water. PCT oxidizer products achieve
industrial performance standards with respect to production efficiency and optimum efficacy while maintaining a minimum FAC ( free available chlorine) of 500 ppm. They are non- flammable and contain no alcohol. They can be transported as a non-chemical with no strict HAZMAT requirements. These oxidizers are composed of 99,5 % water and yet they effectively and rapidly kill viruses and bacteria thus providing better alternatives to harmful chemicals in use today.
Applications of the technology have been made in the hospital, healthcare, food processing , and petroleum markets. In healthcare the ECA oxidizers and antioxidants are available as a commercially ready, patented, integrated product and technology solution for complete facility cleaning and sanitizing. The PCT Annihilyzer® Infection control System is designed for use in hospitals, urgent care centers, dental and veterinary practices, nursing homes and other large healthcare facilities. Microbes cannot develop resistance to these cleaning and sanitizing products as they actually penetrate the cell walls of the micro-organisms rendering them unable to shield themselves from the effects of the ECA oxidizer’s ( anolyte) effects.
The oil and gas industry has used the Excelyte® / Hydrolyte® solutions to treat sulfate reducing bacteria ( SRB’s) in several wells for Yates Petroleum ( now Anadarko) thereby reducing the losses due to corrosion causing expensive rod and tubing failures in pumping wells at costs up to $100,000 per well in some cases. The corrosion is caused by sulfate reducing bacteria and subsequent H2S. Hydrolyte® treated wells showed production upticks of up to 20% in many cases. The wellbore remediation/production enhancement from using the Hydrolyte® or Excelyte® has shown promising results in Utah , North Dakota as well as Texas , Oklahoma and New Mexico.
Several scholarly articles have verified the effectiveness of anolyte oxidizers on bacteria, viruses, molds, fungi and H2S / sulfate reducing bacteria. In addition there are several references specific to the Oil & Gas industry such as the Society of Petroleum Engineers, SPE paper No.141,211; April , 2011. Another two papers were published for the Texas Tech University, Southwestern Petroleum Short Course, April 2005 and 2006 wherein treatments for Yates Petroleum and Antero Resources were documented. Additionally a twenty-five well anolyte application by an operator in Utah, New Mexico and West Texas showed both effectiveness in treating H2S as well as increased well production. Small volumes in stripper wells ( 5-50 gallons) to larger treatments for well remediation and stimulation in deeper wells required from 55 gallons to 5000 gallons per well. Treatment volumes custom designed for each well’s specific problems or challenges as well as depth and types of problems such as H2S, bacteria, biofilm and calcium scale buildup issues.
There is continued growth in the study and application of PCT Ltd.’s ECA Products for industrial cleaning in cooling towers, food processing, cruise lines, discount shopping centers, grocery stores, etc. Anywhere the risk of bacteria or viruses poses a health risk, this environmentally friendly solution package can be considered and applied with equipment ready to place
wherever it may be required. Continued studies for validation of the technology for multiple applications are being proposed, funded and executed.
The need for safe, environmentally friendly, cost effective , and economical sanitizers, disinfectants and biocides is growing rapidly . Now, harsh, often toxic chemicals can be replaced. The raw materials water and salt, plus a small electrical and mechanical footprint required to make the PCT Ltd. Oxidizers, Excelyte®, Hydrolyte®, and Annihilyzer® as well as antioxidant cleaners which allows extremely cost effective and highly competitive end use product technology to be made using proven equipment manufactured for whatever volume and method of delivery may be required.
What we need is a stock symbol. I didn't see one in the article.
Green Leaf Innovations Inc (OTC:GRLF) announced this week the assignment of the former top regulator of Maryland’s medical marijuana industry, Joy A. Strand, as Executive Vice President.
"She is responsible for coordinating the company’s government relations efforts in multiple states," said Kevin Goldberg, Green Leaf’s president and general counsel. “She brings a wealth of knowledge about the cannabis industry and compliance. We’re really looking forward to her input for all aspects of our operations.”
Strand said, “I’m very excited about the opportunity. I know I have a lot to offer, but I also know I will have a lot to learn,”

Strand stated that she left the commission for personal reasons and the opportunity to join Green Leaf came “well after” her departure.
“I expect that any of the regulators will treat gLeaf the same as any other regulated company,” she said.
Members of the MMCC expressed about this issue.
David Torres, the MMCC's director of communications, told Baltimoe Business Journal the MMCC “does not have any statuary authority to limit ex-employees" from working elsewhere after leaving the commission.
Michael Lord, executive director of the Maryland State Ethics Commission, told the Baltimore Biz Journal that "state law dictates that state employees who leave for another paying job are barred from working specifically on any 'case, contract or matter' that they worked on in their public position."
I would think when you are 85 yrs old, you could retire, not forcibly. I am sure as the company is growing it is getting a heavier workload and as any company that grows, they are getting in position, 'maybe'.. 'maybe' with a JV partner. possibly, possibly.
Can you post a link? Can't find what PR you are talking about in the EG Newswire. Without a link or a copy and paste of the article, it has no meaning.
Thanks moxa1. I agree with you 100%
I agree Rose101!
Here is some REAL NEWS.
Strong prospects in Shrimp farming SHMP
According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), over 1.7 billion pounds of shrimp are consumed annually in the U.S. The price per kilogram, according to commodity price index website Index Mundi, is currently around $11.80. This means that the shrimp market in the U.S. is a $9 billion market (1 pound = 0.45kg; this means the total shrimp market value is $11.50 per kg × 1.7bn pounds × 0.45 = $9 billion). Interestingly, the USDA notes that 1.3 billion pounds of shrimp are imported – that’s about $6.8 billion in terms of market value, leaving domestic producers with just over $2 billion.
SHMP has an opportunity to not only make a play for the $2 billion U.S. market controlled by domestic players, but also for the $6.8 billion market in the hands of foreign players. This is because its technology gives it two key differentiators.
First, and as already highlighted, SHMP’s technology does not require the use of antibiotics in indoor enclosed systems. Most domestic players who produce shrimp in enclosed aquaculture systems rely on a potent cocktail of antibiotics to stave off diseases and ensure bumper yields. The challenge with this approach is that, with consumer preferences shifting more towards chemical-free food, the scope for growth for players that use antibiotics is quickly shrinking. This gives SHMP a distinct advantage. Moreover, the ability to produce shrimp without antibiotics also lowers production costs, giving SHMP a comparatively higher pricing power, which is always beneficial when you are a newer entrant seeking to unseat incumbents in the market. To further press home its advantage, SHMP’s aquaculture systems are computer monitored, lowering labor costs. Systems that use antibiotics generally require more manpower.
Second, by offering a commercially viable way to cultivate shrimp in an indoor recirculation system, SHMP is insulating itself from the multidimensional risks currently facing international players who use ocean trawls to catch shrimp. Ocean trawling is still the most commonly used form of catching not just shrimp, but other forms of seafood. While it is effective, it is not absent risks, which have compounded in recent years.

It's a GREEN DAY in SHMP land!
I would need to see proof of your accusations of Delgado. I'm not asking you to repeat yourself. If you are going to accuse someone of fraud.. you need some hard evidence. We don't just take your word for it. Natural Shrimp is an amazing company with very intelligent people working on building this company. Even IF someone had a lawsuit in the past, doesn't make this company a fraudulent company.
Fraudulent lawsuits?? LOL! Can you please give us links or sources to these ..so-called...fraudulent lawsuits? Didn't think so.
I hope Delgado's daughter has many shares of SHMP!
There is no lawsuit. SHMP! Bulls are in today!

Texas shrimp RAS farmer sees penny stock rise as it gains momentum
By Undercurrent News March 7, 2019 16:21 GMT
After nearly 18 years in development and more than $35 million invested, NaturalShrimp, a land-based vannamei farmer in Dallas, Texas, is seeing its shrimp production and penny stock value both rise, the San Antonio Express-News reports.
NaturalShrimp announced in January that it won a patent for its newly developed recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) technology for growing shrimp indoors in a commercially viable manner.
The system, which NaturalShrimp developed alongside F&T Water Solutions and began using in July, is known as vibrio-suppression technology. It employs electrical currents in a 65,000-gallon tank. According to the developers, it eliminates water-borne bacteria and other harmful organisms to allow the shrimp to successfully grow in an indoor environment.
Survival rates at the NaturalShrimp facility are beating expectations and could wind up being well above the 50% rate considered notable in the industry, the newspaper reports.
Investors in the penny-stock company (OTCMKTS:SHMP) are perking up. The stock closed at $0.35 on Wednesday, a 337% increase from Jan. 31 when it closed at $0.08.
The company on Wednesday announced that it had shipped about 275 pounds of fresh shrimp to the Northridge Country Club, in Fair Oaks, California, for its annual Mardi Gras event, a feast meant to celebrate the last day before the Christian Lenten season but best known for its party atmosphere in New Orleans, Louisiana. NaturalShrimp’s chief financial officer, several shareholders and many local business leaders were in attendance in California.
Jim Bloom, managing partner at San Francisco, California-based investment firm Vopne Capital, is quoted by the Express as calling NaturalShrimp a “fundamentally attractive investment”.
“NaturalShrimp continues to show signs of breaking out after underperforming in 2018 on investors taking note of the company’s push to strengthen its growth prospects,” he wrote in an analysis published Jan. 22. “The company is fresh from receiving a new patent for the commercially viable system for growing aquatic species indoors. The company now owns worldwide rights for growing shrimp species indoors leveraging its new-patented technology.”
