I knew there had to be a reason for AVXL's outstanding sp performance today.
There's a lot of that going on here these days.
Truth older than time: Follow the money.
Amen brother. Nothing Ever Happens.
For most of January (3 weeks) the AVXL sp has been bumping up on the weekly 20- and 50-week moving averages (10.61 and 10.52 respectively), occasionally popping through but not holding the level by week's end. Ending the week close to 11, say 10.80 with a bit of volume juice will give us 12 bucks pretty quickly, IMO.
Good to see SAVA maintaining a 1.3x MC compared to AVXL after trial failure. Wouldn't want any WS types lose any ground on this year's bonus.
Simuflimflam
Bouncing off both the 50- and 200-dma's is a good sign...hope the bounce sticks
First hideous red candle of 2023. Happy new year.
Shorts getting it all back...
Hope you're correct, McMag...AVXL sp batting average on PRs so low it would optioned to Bradenton by now.
When you win, divide the prize into five equal increments and every day use a fifth to buy Anavex shares, delightfully incinerating the shorts and in the process doubling your money. Good luck.
That was a real natural drop. Of course it was.
It's good to see BIIB trading below its Friday halt level. A wee bit of (temporary?) justice...
Uh...wrong.
Had to laugh at the stockwits opinions leading up to brainswellumab's approval stating that 'approval or not' AVXL sp would benefit. Rookies. Nothing benefits AVXL sp....
"Competitor" SAVA getting its brains beaten in worse than our own rented mule. What did they do over there, cure cancer?
Anavex ought to consider changing its stock ticker to WTF. It's available.
Agree 100%. If I had my way Missling would keep his mouth shut until the day an agency approval is announced.
So that's why the SP dropped .30 straight down after lunch. Knew there had to be a really good, logical reason.
I am seeing no worries out of the shorts, do you? Are the shorts that stupid....or that smart?
If a guy like Matt Taibbi or Glenn Greenwald got a hold of the Anavex vs BP vs Alz Assoc vs AF (etc., etc.) story, a huge crack in the defensive wall could/would suddenly appear.
Abe, common sense departed the medical profession a long time ago...
Does anyone believe Blackrock or any large institution would risk their reputation on such a unsupported notion ?
You really can't be serious. LOL
At some point repeated punches to the mouth will yield no more teeth, as all of them will lie in a blood puddle on the floor. I'm down to one chipped molar.
I want some of this stuff. Now.
There's always time for that, Jimbo.
Only 8 more bucks to go :-{
Your assumption is spot on.
'Masks strongly encouraged.'
LOL
14th day out of last 15 in which it's paid handsomely to short the open. And here I am sitting at the poker table trying to figure out who's the mark...
So what am I watching, McMag? A stock with demonstrated world-changing medicinal technology sinking lower and lower below a billion $$ market cap? Am I watching supposed smartest-people-in-the-room BP execs who don't possess the business acumen (or guts) to pursue a TINY company with potentially the product of the century? Maybe I'm watching a bs NGO named the "Alzheimer's Association" that cares only about perpetuating its existence and making the world believe it's dedicated to eliminating AD? Or how about a govt agency who makes it a practice to approve ineffective, brain-swelling drugs against the recommendations of its experts panel?
I could go on and on and on and on and on and on.....
But you get the picture.
I awaken to see the shorts thriving, as always. Ho-hum.
The Seinfeld reference alone was worth a 'like.'
Like nearly every other do-gooder organization, their investment is to make sure that the problem they were created to solve/eliminate never gets solved or eliminated...perpetuation of the gig is the utmost unspoken principle.
Follow. The. Money.
Bull. If this was SAVA it would be up 200%.
Just demonstrated proof of statistically significant clinical improvement for the most costly and dreaded disease on the planet, and we're up 16 cents for the week.
Yippeeeee!!!!!!!!!!
How do I get a new 'ignore' button from iHub? Mine is about worn out...
I hope you're correct.
