Unfortunately neither is listed here:

:)
All in due time though, right?
6 or 7 years sounds pretty harsh if in fact they had good intentions and their only crime was to bend a few rules. But by the same token, they were sentenced only a short time ago. It would seem like they could say, "Look judge, we have the money, we can liquidate the stock and pay everyone back", if that was the case, and maybe only get a couple of years, if that. But then again, I don't know Chinese law or their courts. I've only heard it can be harsh.
Maybe they expected to invest in CLAD, make 200% or more, then pay out 15%, but things took longer than expected and the investors got antsy and complained to the authorities.
Interesting. I wonder how the two that got prison are related to the company, if at all. What's your take?
People buying in that price range would be happy today: $0.50.
Never mind, I got the link to work.
The link is not working for me.
Is it about 25K shares?
I should mention that although I am a paid subscriber to Investor Hub I do not subscribe to the Level 2 quotes. So I am not sure how the service works or how you set it up.
Not sure what you are trying to do, but it appears you want to use Investor Hub for Level 2 quotes. If so, I think you need to subscribe and pay. It appears your credit card charge did not go through. It is not a free service. If you card was charged you should contact Investor Hub admin for more help.
What? That would require a press release, conference call, or public statement from the company. You've obviously lost your mind.
Maybe someone got antsy.
Very true. Perspective.
I thought you just said you wanted to sell for $.50.
I don't like to revel in other's pain, but here's to the bond market crashing! :)
.25 is a pretty good buy price given today's price.
Who am I kidding? I love it too.
Yeah, I did notice the dates. That's a positive note anyway that the events were before 2014. So maybe that's already been factored in to the recent/current prices.
Don't you just love the OTC?
Right now a good price is $0.41. That's the bid. After that a good price might be .39, or .31, or .20. It's all a matter of perspective.
It's all a guess on my part, but IF they were promoting CLAD as the investment while taking people's money, it's possible that with some of the money they took in they were buying shares of CLAD to cause the price to rise, which in turns makes things look positive for both new and old investors. As soon as the gig went bust the volume dried up. Just speculating here.
Thanks for the explanation. Hmm, if that's true, no matter what, it's not good PR for CLAD to be associated with fraud. Most people will see the name "China Liaoning Dingxu" in both cases and think they are one in the same. It's interesting that the news was posted May 15 and since about that time volume here has dried up. Makes me wonder why; who was buying, and who stopped buying?
I'm confused. What's the Reader's Digest version?
I agree, the stock had done great. You can't always rush things, but the American in me wants it done yesterday
I agree that the current price range is reflective of what the company has going on now. I meant that if any new, positive happenings came along and the price DID rise above $1, the "old" investors would likely cash out and new investors would come in and form a new base price. I'm talking about a big development like a merger or capital infusion to fund growth. Something that takes the company to then next level. Otherwise we can just turn out the lights and let the mushrooms grow and wait for more hungry people to buy them. :)
Obviously we're seeing a slow-down in buying. I wonder if the active buyer (the one who's been collecting shares recently) will return or if they have enough? My estimate is there are probably about 200,000-300,000 shares in what I would call "weaker hands". Those are people who are likely to sell below $1.00. They probably bought during the IPO or some time when the stock price was around $0.07-0.15. All the other weak hands have moved on and already sold in my opinion. After $1.00 I think the sky is the limit. I'm hoping something, other than small buying, will push us through the $1.00 mark. We need to see some solid news in some shape or form, or a solid SEC filing with news in it.
When he bought the company he likely bought restricted shares. If he remained with the company those shares are likely still restricted. The SOS does require all directors and key officers to be listed annually. My guess is he's out since he is not on the currently list. He may have sold his restricted stock to the new owners (all or part). That could probably be determined by calling the company's transfer agent and asking about share counts (float/OS/etc.) and comparing that to the last filing(s). That is...they even have an active transfer agent any more.
According to the Nevada SOS he is no longer with the company, so I doubt it.
Bring it. We need some action!
It's been quiet here. The buyer must be on vacation.
Another slow Friday here.
I'm not sure, but the price is like a yo-yo.
LOL. true, he was likely to find more than the value of the stock.
Close. Their auditor lost his license from the Public Accounting Oversight Board. That happened right in the middle of the company's attempt at filing a new S-1 Registration. Nothing has been filed since. It's like they just gave up.
Does this mean Mr. Chin gave himself a loan? Not necessarily a bad thing. He probably invested a lot of cash into the business already. This just may be a way to pull some out. I'm not sure.
Here is the text from the 10Q:
During the three months ended March 31, 2014, the Company advanced a loan in the amount of $1,141,225 to the director of the Company’s operating VIE, Liaoning Dingxu. This loan has no stated term of repayment or interest rate. The Company conservatively recorded a full allowance for the loan and recorded bad debt expenses of $1,141,225 as of March 31, 2014
Wow, it's been a year since you posted and 6 months for me. We didn't miss anything. Nothing has changed. LOL
In China I don't know the process, maybe it was a payment/loan to the government. It doesn't say the details in the 10Q filing.
10Q is out. All seems up to par except for one item. Looks like they made a $1.141 million loan to someone and they are writing it off as "bad debt". That's a lot of money. It drove their earnings down by a penny per share. Not sure what that's all about, but I hope they don't be making bad loans like that again. That's a big "ouch!". Heck, if they loan me $1.141 million I PROMISE I'll pay back at least half.
