otterman: At 3 cents per share, the buyers don't necessarily have to be big-time investors. Six grand will get you 200,000 shares. Hell, for the price of a carton of cigarettes, you can buy yourself 1500 shares or so of this dynamo, roughly 7 shares per butt. lol
What a true shame for the potential that this invention holds at this point in our history where oil is on the cusp of making and breaking entire cultures, to have the whole thing squandered by a walking, talking huckster whom, I believe, never really knew what he had.
Will be holding my nose and voting for Bush. "Liveshot" Kerry has done absolutely NOTHING for this state and I cannot begin to see his bimbo wife hosting State dinners. Probably the only reason people are voting for one or the other is because they dislike the opponent. A truly sad state of affairs. It's been some time since two honorable, capable men ran for prez. Maybe next time. What the hell, if the Red Sox can win the World Series, we can sooner or later elect someone with whom we're completely comfortable.
"The Day the Earth Stood Still" classic Sci-fi.
OT -- Sorry, can't help myself. Just for giggles, let's say the US is NOT the only remaining "superpower". Who's next
in line for the task? North Korea? India? Canada? If the US's handling of the inherited position of traffic cop to the world isn't what it should be, which country will do it better?
Which country will keep the peace without ruffling feathers? Which one can and will do it without loss of life and natural resources?
Is the US always right? Hell no! But, I'll bet the US is more often right than others would be in the same position. Unfortunately, until Michael Rennie and Gort swoop their asses down here and dictate the edict that we MUST get along--or else, I really cannot see where the free world has a lot of choices, given the mind set of some of the country "leaders" out there.
Klaatu - Barada - Nikto
And, if Hasher doesn't waste these posts, I'll do it tomorrow.
Well, if nothing else, the PR should result in some more lively conversation. It sure has been a while.
Ambiguity, thy name is Powertec - eom
fritz: IMO, you could keep an eye on this outfit from time to time. Eventually there will be a court case that delineates just who has control of the patent. The tragedy is that the product can make everyone here filthy rich. Unfortunately, the only one who's made anything substantial has been out ex-CEO who, for 7 years, couldn't find his a$$ with both hands (even though it was right there under him in his Ferrari the whole time) Does the company have hope -- I would say probably yes, but that would depend on who is in charge. Best of luck.
*Properly* LOL
LOL -- at least in our version, sunny learned to proporly us the word "here". Still has problems with "success" tho.
For a while there, it looked as if there was going to be some good movement. Some good-old-fashioned selling into that "rally" scotched that sumbitch real proper. Only (roughly) 649,000,000 to go!
Hash: Censor Peggy? No way! He's been as civil as he can possibly be which has got to be driving him totally bonkers given his propensity for vicious diatribe over on RB. Can you imagine how tough it must be for him to sit down and type something relatively cordial when all he WANTS to do is bug, irritate, name-call and malign? Nope, the threat of cutting him off at the knees is probably enough.
Maybe he don't like gimberish or penies.
And who, pray tell, are YOU out for?
Bernard J. Walter, CEO of Power Technology, stated, "Our recent completed agreement for $5.5 million in new capital will fund the manufacture of our prototype patented batteries. "These batteries are anticipated to be up to 66% lighter and contain 90% less lead than conventional batteries. Additionally, Company research shows our batteries should also have superior recharge rates and lifetimes. Providing these batteries for industry evaluation will allow us to refine our sales strategy and manufacturing plans for full commercialization of our unique battery technology."

Damn! I was still looking for the survey button.
Hmmm. You might have something there.
Man, this horse opera is going to play out longer than Gunsmoke, just not nearly as entertaining -- unless, of course, somewhere along the line, those that richly deserve theirs finally get it.
Peep: You said: "I sound as redundant as you!!!!" Just want you to know that was the first full sentence in all of your ramblings that not only did I manage to get through, but happen to fully agree with. LOL
Rooster: It's all a blurr. No, I cannot remember exactly when it was that the "directors" were duped into removing Wolf from his position. Only a couple of months at best from the time he was "appointed", as I recall.
rooster: IF what you say about WM and the Swedes owning 51% of the company is true, information that had to be fed you by "Forever in Bluejeans" himself -- IF that was the case, and WM and the Swedes had taken over, you can bet you'd have a lot more pesos in your brokerage account than you do right now.
Hasher: Those instances were precisely my point, highlighting the complete lack of honesty provided by "ol" Elbee.
hasher, regarding McNerney, you do recall, do you not, the rumor that the reason he was selling off his stock was because he was at death's door and needed the dough? Do you know who began that rumor?
Also, as long as we're taking a trip down rumor lane -- remember the one about Lee Iococca not liking the cut of LB's jib? To the best of your knowledge, did Iococca ever come close to getting involved? And, if so, was it Elbee who drove him away?
TIA
Logman: I'll bet you -- Dollars to Donuts -- that a lot of Snaper's "sell-off" was to garner $$ to pay his assistants. Besides which, HE invented the freaking thing. If ANYBODY is entitled to realize something for his efforts, it's Snaper. BUT, the one who realized the most -- for seemingly NO effort was ................ in the words of the immortal Woody Woodpecker..........."Guess Who!"
If those additional 650,000 million "authorized" shares ever come to fruition, Balak's 27 mil will look like a pee-hole in the snow.
Mvn: Yes, I took delivery of a number of shares back then. Not sure if that's the reason for being one of the chosen ones or not, though.
rooster: I share your hope that you do to, old friend. In the overall scheme of things, however, what happens to this stock pales in significance to other, more important things in life -- such as hurricane force winds taking your home and maybe even your life and tossing it. Best of luck to you and, of course, those of us about to realize the fury of mother nature.
rooster, how high does it have to go before you get even 1 or 2% of your money back?
dakota: As I recall, you rankled hasher sometime back. I'm pretty sure he stated you weren't his favorite person on the board and might very well have you on "ignore". See what happens when you upset someone's delicate sensibilities? But you already knew that, right? lol
ROFLMELAO! eom
Peggy: And there's something very UNcommon between YOU and ChetTheJet. He's isn't here screwing with people -- you, unfortunately, are.
IAW the package sent me -- shares will be upped TO 750,000,000 from 100,000,000. Whew!
The best part though, is that Elbee's 5,000,000 now will look like a pee-hole in the snow!
This survey thing could be extended on a weekly (or daily) basis. For example, the "Survey for 9/2/04" could be:
Who among us wants PWTC to fail?
or
Who here has had a belly-full of ambiguous "News" releases?
or
How many among us have put up with the likes of e-Y and his cronies over the past 7+ years, backed the company (if not some of the people within the company) TO THE HILT and feel we recognize it when smoke is being blown up our kilts?
Just a few suggestions.
You just keep on "keepin' on". Word!
got me sum better spellin'
Hokey Smoke, boys and girls. Suppose they can afford to print up those Certificates for the MicroDry extravaganza now?
Maybe the Pipelink can get made and checked out in time for China's next big pipeline? (By the way, what the hell ever happened with Rainbird?)
Suppose there'll be enuff dough left over for a new Ferrari?
Is it time to get out there and purchase those new kilts?
You guys don't mind if I pass on the kilts, do you? I ain't got the legs for it. Got to wear white socks with colored stripes so you know where sock ends and leg begins.
Wonder how much of this dough is going to go to cover court costs.
Elbee and Bernie's Excellent Adventure continues.
logman: The battery should have been in the hands of manufacturers and other interested parties LONG before the "unpleasantness" between Elbee and Snaper occurred.
The villian now, then and always has been "Forever in Bluejeans" himself -- the Pimpmobile driving, jean-wearing, leather-loving, phony PR releasing, fly-all-over-the-world-on-YOUR-dime, Lying Bastard himself -- the Master of Insincerity, hard-drinking, free-spending, unprofessional PUNK -- Elbee!
IMO, of course! lol
edfrank: I checked that site from end to end looking for the filing -- cannot locate it -- probably because it's somewhere else on the Nevada site or hasn't been posted yet.
Have copied the Questionnaire (what a beauty THAT thing is) and will send it in along with the package.
Thanks for your efforts.
Logman: What is playing out here is NOT Stalag 17. By that I mean that Elbee is NOT going to be the hero at the end of the movie as was William Holden. No, we've identified the villian, the one who is personally responsible for fleecing you and your family of a rosey future and your dad of a very comfortable retirement. The same individual has lived high on the hog over the past 8 years on YOUR money and yet you have the gall to slam Hasher for his "rantings"?
Reality check time.
edfrank: It's still a mystery to me as to why I received the package I did from the "company" and nobody else apparently did. I've been trying to find a website wherein the information can be viewed by anyone but don't have the savvy to corner the rascal. Thought you might assist, if you have the time.
The Certificate of Amendment (Pursuant to NRS 78.385 and 78.390) was filed in the office of Dean Heller, Secretary of State, State of Nevada on Jul 29, 04. The Power Technology File No. is C12127-1996. The Secretary of State website is: secretaryofstate.biz
I gleaned from the amendment form that there is "no shareholder approval (necessary) pursuant to NR5" which is, I assume, a company by-law that makes our input a formality they would rather do without.
Good luck and thank you.
Just contacted the SEC to inquire as to the legality of what they're apparently doing here without shareholder input, vote, proxy, whatever. Mr Andrew Thorpe tells me that OTCBB "companies" can pretty much thumb their noses at us in this and many other regards. I guess we can petition the court for a shareholders meeting and oust the CEO and Directors (with sufficient shares in our pocket) but what are the odds of that happening? Pretty bleak, I would say.
Can you say "dead meat"?
