Does the recent Form 9 issuing 14,624 IBAT shares to an employee for $15,000 US warrant any comment?
I like it.
Burba's Lithium extractor sharing space with a dairy farm...add a couple with the wife wearing a gingham dress and Pa holding a pitchfork and singing "Green Acres". Add a windmill.
Truly, the possibilities are endless.
When IBAT starts doing some serious modular plant placements, I think they should leave a little room in their budget for landscaping. Imagine an info video showing alternate mining sites with destructive mountain top shaving, open pit mines, evaporation ponds, chemical waste slurry and then... IBAT's Modular DLE Plant in a grassy meadow surrounded by a field of sunflowers..."Yes! We are miners, too!"
May 16, 2024 Lithium Bank receives license for well at Boardwalk Lithium project, Alberta, Canada (from Lithium Bank website).
The race is on. Lithium bank uses sulfuric acid and quicklime in their DLE process. Are they mining or trying to hide evidence of a murder?
I believe IBAT's DLE is supposed to be chem free and they are able to return processed brine to the water table.
Wonder what Lithium Bank does with their spent brine?
Good thinking. Much better for us to fight Putin in Germany and France than to allow Ukraine the chance to beat Russia at home.
What I hope is that production and revenue kick in by Summer's end and that the third quarter report shows some decent numbers and that the share price heads north of $4 and we become qualified to be listed on the NASDAQ with the much, much cooler symbol...DLE...and then we start attracting some serious institutional investors and current shareholders are thinking sell or let me hold on a while longer.
Like I said. That's what I "hope". Compare that to what I know and it could be a very different story.
Good luck!
Like the way you think and hope your fishing trip is a big success. My hopes are that Great Salt Lake project exceeds expectations and soon.... followed up by additional successful locations in the U.S., Canada, South America, France...at that point, I'd like to see Elon or Big Oil step up and throw out a crazy number to purchase 'DLE' (formerly IBAT). $40 a share would work for me ($8 Billion)...but I may be low balling...I mean inflation...
Reality check- I've got no clue if Burba's modular DLE will be successful. My greatest joy is reading the funny papers and each day my biggest disappointment is discovering that Dagwood's story is no longer being told.
If Dr. Burba does indeed pull this off and IBAT's modular DLE becomes the industry standard for mining Lithium, someone should nominate him for the Charles Stark Draper Prize for Engineering. His process is faster, less expensive and eco friendly and could have a huge impact on what needs to be done to mitigate climate change. I can see him now, stepping up to the podium to accept his award with a Jimmy Dean classic playing in the background..."Big John...Big John...Big Bad John!"
Only this time, he didn't just save 20 miners. He helped save the planet.
Just my opinion. Some people say I live in a fantasy world.
I say, "Lucky me!"
If you look at the U.S. Magnesium mining site in Rowley, Utah, it doesn't appear to be the sterile environment I've seen at other prospective locations. IBAT's modular unit is designed for quick deployment and activation, but looking at the potential placement area, it might be a good idea to construct a building to shelter the 'Burbalator'. Of course, the Google Earth photos I'm looking at could be seriously out of date. Rowley today could be much different. I'm sure Dr. Burba has a handle on it.
My mistake. CSE numbers were inaccurate at 06:10 PST.
Probably just a parking number, but the morning bid on the CSE is $2.75 Canadian...which is $2.01 American. Don't know if that will still be there at the open, but we'll find out in 20 minutes. Cross your fingers.
Good luck!
These incremental price increases are great, but I'm still hoping for a "WHOA BABY!" buy out from big oil. They have the cash and they want to stay in the energy biz. Somewhere between 6 and 10 billion would get them a lock on John's Burbalators and they could become the main source of Lithium into the next century. As a plus, they could cancel their ventures into cancer causing big windmills. MOO (My Opinion Only).
I only know what I read in the funny papers.
Will do.
Ignoring le-bon garbage mouth
Will Do!
Ignoring le-bon ton-roule
Thanks
DT is hoping that the Supreme Court will say that "Presidential Immunity" is a thing and move on with his campaign and promotion of his DJT "Truth" Social.
Wonder what Joe's response to a positive P.I. ruling would be?
..."Oh, boy!"
Not close to the bottom and even farther from the top. Too hard for me to figure out. Ever notice how your phone knows the next word you're going to text. Tried using my android as a decision making tool. With regard to a DJT transaction (buy or walk away), I should "follow the process of the first one". Those seven words were generated by my phone after I entered the words "I should..." As I mentioned, my phone is an 'android', so it's probably just messing with me. I'm walking away. It's not like I have a lot of risk capital laying around.
Good luck to everyone else.
Wasn't "Senial" one of the wrong answers on Donald's cognitive test?
"Is this a good buy?"
You misspelled "bye".
Need a sharper eye than mine to find anything new in the just released monthly summary. One thing that I definitely don't see is any $$$'s. Maybe next month.
Thanks Shmackers! It appears that the legal process and Lithium development travel at the same speed... Must be passing thru a school zone. S l o w
Yikes! Reading about a heavily funded private company out of Oakland that says they have a proven, patented DLE modular plant...Lilac Solutions. Claim they are doing something at Great Salt Lake. Be great if IBAT could get court case behind them and be first to production at any site.
Thanks Gregcod! Good summary of what we all hope is happening with Exxon in Arkansas. In addition, I'm looking forward to finding out where John placed his initial plant and who he partnered with in the Western State location that's been publicized, but not defined (Salton Sea???). I'm also ready to see Ensorcia get going with their Burba modules in South America and Europe (France). In fact, since IBAT's DLE plants are the quickest to production, most cost efficient and are environmentally friendly... shouldn't all Lithium producers be using them. Stop me! Time to wake up...
Wow! What a great dream.
Now, let's see if the court will give us any real info today.
Thanks TC.
Interesting Video.
Looks like a duck...
Quacks like a duck...
Could it be John's ugly DLE plant?
Hoping for a Swan.
Connection between A1 and IBATF?
That's a tough one...
A1 "Makes Beef Sing!"
IBATF "Makes Brine Lithium!"
...I give up...
Looks to me like the court is getting tired of the plaintiffs' requests. Two weeks for them to respond seems fair.
Not sure what's in my best interest as a shareholder, but I'm holding for news showing income.
Yep, NYSE is closed Monday for MlK. However, Burba's Baby will be trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange on that day. You have to drop the "F" to look them up...IBAT. The really good news is the company is already listed at $1.00!!! Oh, wait. That's Canadian paper. There's still some value to be earned to hit 90 pennies U.S. Canadian markets open 9:00AM EST on Monday.
Vegas Matt says "Man, you sure get two a lot!"
My wife says, "Tom, you sure read TC a lot!"
Thank you, Mr. Charts. Now, "Let's Win!"
Good choice. I like Salton Sea. Several players there already and all working towards the same goal. IBAT's modular DLE might get someone there first. Site has a built in thermal power source as well. I like this game.
I was looking for info about the upcoming DLE conference as well. I saw the IBAT reference you mentioned. My inquiries got me an invitation to be a speaker, which was really hilarious to me. The highest level I ever achieved in the corporate world was "coworker". Still, I thought I'd have some fun and responded with the following...
Things have been going crazy here in Irvine, CA (Safest City in America). My builder was preparing the foundation for my new residence in the hillside Portola community when he made an unexpected discovery...you guessed it...a large deposit of almost pure Lithium (97% LI, 3% AU). So yeah, my thoughts turned immediately to DLE. Ponds wouldn't work for me (too slow and there's nothing to evaporate). Building an extraction plant makes no sense. The Lithium was already pure. I came up with a procedure that will both remove the deposit and transport it to the nearest Tesla battery factory. I'm calling this process, "I Bought A Truck"...IBAT for short.
I closed with
TRUTH. I'm just an old guy that owns some shares of International Battery Metals and some other shares of a junior Lithium mining company that claims they'll be using Ekosolve to extract Lithium from the Incahuasi in South America. Hope your conference is a big success.
Thank you! To quote Simon, "Recent post about the near future for IBATF? I didn't like it...I LOVED it!". Golden Buzzer news for sure!
Google CFOCEOINTERVIEWJOHN BURBA. Interview is from May 7, 2018. Merged company near end of interview, I believe refers to his setup of IBAT to move forward. Most of the interview discussed his future plans for the company. He has been consistent in pursuing those goals and I believe we all hope his endeavors will meet with success soon.
Thanks TC. SPEY is a side hustle for me. I bought some of their shares because of the DLE they are planning to use and because I could get a bunch of shares with wallet money. I was looking forward to AIS being the first to deploy EKOSOLVE at a commercial level and seeing what kind of production level they achieved. Now it looks like the Aussie DLE premier is back to SPEY. Probably a good thing, except for the waiting part.
If I'd known more about the speed of lithium when I first invested, I probably would have booked a trip to Vegas.
EKOSOLVE is participating in a DLE conference December 11 and 12 at the Redondo Beach Marriott. They are SPEY's direct lithium extractor of choice. Looks like IBAT will be there as well.
Guessing that next SPEY steps are getting some lithium PPM brine samples...building a pilot DLE plant...verifying production and setting goals...then building a full scale plant. Of course, all this will be moving at the speed of lithium...
Meanwhile, we can look forward to the conference.
If this is a scam, then yes we are throwing our money away. "But"... if SPEYF is legit and things are moving slow because we're talking Incahuasi (remote), new tech (Ekosolve) and Lithium (not gold, silver, platinum)...
If all those things... at this price, we don't need to break the bank to take a position. I'll be upset if I lose my investment. but I'm using house money from another stock that came thru. Don't invest in "pennies" if you can't afford to lose it all.
AISSF sent out a thank you press release to Recharge Resources this morning. Thanks for the $732,000 cash and the near future payment of an additional $1,000,000 in cash or stock. They also added a reminder about future 7.5% royalty on all lithium production.
Maybe the SPEYF press release on the same topic could have been a little more detailed.
"Recharge" Resources...not Research.
Today was the 7th business day following 2/21/23. Did Research Resources transfer $500,000 worth of their shares (1,333,333) to SPEYF?
Post #89 from 10/31/22. Spey is receiving first Ekosolve DLE plant for their Incahuasi property.
So IBAT uses their modular plant to extract the lithium from Sorcia's properties and Sinolithuum processes the extracted product further. Is that correct?
If SPEYF was a table game in Vegas, I'd be putting my chips on the Incahuasi. I'm curious to see if they can get the location to produce lithium using the Ekosolve procedure. At the current share price, it's not a. Huge risk, but it could be a monster reward.
