tampa, so you would keep sks as a ceo? lol. can you name a single reason why? i can name a dozen why the man is incapable of running a hot dog stand.
good post. thanks. agree completely.
blue, so wave's claim they will only need to raise 6M is based on what revenue number for the year? around 45M or so give or take, would you agree? what do you think the revenue will be realistically in 2012? no way it will be more than 30M. my guess 20M or so. which means 6M number is a total bs as usual. it's 3,4 or even 5 times more than that.
have you guys learned nothing? only 6M needed to be raised? really? common! any number that is coming out of sprague's mouth has to be automatically multiplied by like 5. wave needs at least 20M and that's a very conservative number. at the average price in .30s that's about 60M freshly printed shares that has to be dumped via their PP scams. Can they and their mb surrogates organize that? I don't think so but hey! would not shock me if they could. But if Justice Dept or at least SEC is not gonna look into that, I don't know... If they can not do this, this pos goes down. Either way it will be fun.
it's not gloom and doom. the thing is called REALITY.
10 cents by august - and that's after a couple of more PP scams and a reversed split. the only surprise at the end will be certain folks going to jail...
alea, was the head count mentioned? how many positions did they cut? what's the current head count?
zen, wave had a 5 year window before MSFT jumps in. that window is shut now. there will be no more GM type deals. samsung may get wave some $s, but when sks said he expected samsung mobile product in late spring, that of course means maybe at year-end. in the meantime you're looking at a couple of PPs and a sure RS within the next 3 months.
99% of those who follow wavx, including those who post agenda driven dot connecting garbage, knew Q4 numbers would be horrible and even worse Q1 numbers are shortly to come. the only question that should be asked is whether there is any buy-out interest. if not, this pos does not have much time to live.
i'm sick and tired of the spragues and their surrogates bragging about how well wave has been positioned. you can have a lemonade stand on a busy street in 30F weather, but if it's dirty and glasses smell like dead fish and you're trying to sell it yourself instead of letting your cute 7-year-old do it, you're not gonna make any money. even if the lemonade is nice and cold.
for once Centrify does not have an incompetent arrogant ceo who destroys every business relationship he gets involved in. they also have a good reputation and tech support. Wave has cut at least 1/3 of their staff to stay afloat. how would they support Samsung customers? not to worry though. all the Spragues are still on payroll. you would not wannna lose one of them, would you?
and hm... this Centrify outfit does not even have a 15 years contract with Samsung, do they? you know the kind that has no money attached to it.
alea, it's not a story. there is another word for it. and of course it's totally false.
pp guys are not interested in investing in wave. they're too smart for that. they do this to make money. the pp shares are sold short in advance of the pp announcement. this way they're guaranteed a profit and there is no risk for them.
and they would love to do 5M or even better 20M, it's all good, and Wave needs money so they would love that too, but they just can not orchestrate this big of a pump and dump, can they? 5 years ago they could. can they do it today? i don't think so, but we'll see.
remember the 1M day a couple of weeks ago? that's when these PP shares were sold short. that's a FACT!
have not posted for a couple of days. more evidence this pos is on the verge of a total collapse. lol. so the spragues did what they do best, printed more shares which were sold by the usual suspects or some new shady character who orchestrated the pump and dump. good news is they could only do 1M which is gonna buy them what? a few more days? pathetic. 10 cents by August! and that's post reversed split! and that's if this pos is still alive in august.
Samsung.... Who can forget all the excitement in waveland back in December when a word got out that Wave was pulling some revenue from Samsung PCs during 4th quarter. Well, we're about to find out what that revenue was, are not we? That of course if Wave has enough money to pay some accountants and layers to actually put together and announce Q4 results any time soon.
I bet I could have made more money selling lemonade on my street this weekend (never mind 40F weather) than Wave received from Samsung in 4th quarter. By the way, has anybody actually seen a Samsung PC? I have not. Never heard of it actually. I'm sure Barge or JD can Google it up though.
when you look at the way sks looks and dresses, you wonder if his personal financial situation is in the same sort of trouble as the company he's been "managing". i suspect that despite tens of millions in salaries and bonuses he's received over the years, the man might be completely broke. otherwise, he would not try to steal 30k from the company last year. too bad he got caught by friendly auditors, and not IRS. some jail time would do him good.
Bluefang, SKS is a used car salesman who's trying to sell million dollar Lamborghinis. it's a FACT. lol. so the chances of any sort of success are ZERO!!!
gucci, i would not be surprised. that would certainly explain the lack of funding and the lack of cc date...
lol. the lowest you have there is 6m. so what the hell! i "revised" mine up from 5 to 6. may it be a buying signal for today, and maybe .80 will hold:)
i still stick to my prediction of the pp being in .60s range. they've been trying to arrange it for a while with no interest, but yesterday's volume suggests that maybe somebody decided to take the risk. unlike many other PPs, the usual pump and dump will be very hard to orchestrate right now imo, but not impossible. i have underestimated the pp guys before. they're sure one creative bunch.
prepare to be showered with dots about visa, ebay, paypal, apple...
i don't think it's about how much money they lose. i doubt any of them care. it's all about how much money they make for themselves in the process.
wave is a very unique company. the higher the losses, the bigger the salaries and bonuses get for sks and his relatives!
titlewave, as wave is a family business, the only person who can realistically replace sks is another sprague. i'm shocked that my suggestion that micheal sprague replaces stephen at the helm, was not met with more enthusiasm by wave shareholders. yes, michael was a complete failure when it came for tvtonic and he's doing a horrible job with scrabls costing investors more than 50 mil and counting, but stephen on the other has been a complete disaster as wave ceo costing investors over 500 mil. if you have somebody losing your money, then at least pick a person who loses less, or in case of michael sprague 10 times less. i think my logic is bulletproof here.
so common! let's join hands and chant from the rooftops:
"Micheal Sprague for CEO!!!"
i think this was the intent. this little charade of asking sks a question and him answering and then allowing for the answer to be posted online... it was all to give the overly optimistic shareholders some time to brace themselves, between now and the time when the crushing Q4 numbers actually come out.
the message spread by the spragues and their surrogates this coming week will be hey! we have had difficult 6 months, q4 and q1 numbers won't make you happy, but look! we've delivered our TPM software to Samsung and we expect products later this spring.
of course, the key word here is "expect".
sks EXPECTS Samsung product later in the spring...
The contract with Samsung is meaningless. It does not provide for guaranteed minimum or maximum shipped quantities or royalties. We can both name a dozen or two similar contracts that resulted in pretty much nothing. HP would be a good recent example.
At the end of the day, unless you have a major enterprise looking to build a TPM network using Wavx software (no thanks!), Wave can have a contract with every PC, tablet and mobile phone maker and it does not matter.
alea, i went and read the email that sks supposedly wrote. i would normally doubt that he really did, but blubbering sentences of a frustrated security guard mixed with motivational crap of a clueless basketball coach confirm its authenticity all right.
as i've been saying, best case scenario we're looking at for the next few months is a couple of PPs at much lower prices than 90 cents, reversed split, delisting nevertheless and maybe .30 sp post split by August. However, this thing can just completely collapse within weeks if they can not raise the money.
i feel bad for people who have thousands if not tens of thousands of shares of this pos in their accounts and are quietly hoping i'm wrong, but truth is better than false hope imo.
wave = root of mistrust and distrust!
nobody wants them or needs them, and nobody wants anything to do with them! thanks for some free pilots and tc education though!
i do think michael sprague would make a much better ceo than stephen. eom.
i hear sks is about to step down due to health reasons. michael sparague is the new ceo and he wants lark back. too bad he's still stuck on that ship...
my Q4 prediction, considering no new contracts and dell going away, is 5 ish, but i don't mind to be positively surprised with let's say 4 mil.
having said that, what's the difference how much the revenue was in Q4? they pulled thru it just like they always do, by printing a few more million shares. by the time the numbers are announced, Q1 will be almost over. they try but can not orchestrate another pump and dump, so they're cutting the personnel. that might allow them to pull thru the current qtr. so in a sense, Q1 numbers do not matter either, do they?
can not agree with you more. wavx sp at this point is a balloon full of hot air. Q4 results will serve as a sharp needle.
what about layoffs? lark's departure was the only one that had to be announced.
i think you are referring to my post where i stated that wave has nothing to do with 100s of millions of tpm chips out there and they don't have any exclusive rights to manage any of them, and that TC specs are available to any interested party who can write their own software to manage TPMs. all of the above are facts.
on the other hand, price predictions are price predictions. i'm sure you realized that my 10 bagger post was an indirect response to your 10 bagger post. come August, we'll see who's right, but history is on my side.
PS. There are 2 pathetic job openings on Wave website. that's a another fact. another dot towards 10 cents if you will.
Just like last week was the last opportunity to sell this pos anywhere near $1, this week is the last opportunity do so at .90 or so. it will be at least .80, perhaps much lower going into Q4 CC and heading much lower after. I predict 10 cents or less by August, an easy ten bagger from here :)
Wave = Root of Mistrust and Distrust!
Facts vs fiction and lies!
I wanna puke every time i hear oh! wave (or even better - the spragues) invented TPMs and TC! The fact is Wave had a chip that like everything else this company ever came up with turned out to be a complete failure. All the hundreds of millions of TPM chips that are out there have NOTHING to do with Wave's chip. I'm sure somebody can recall what it was called. Embassy or something.
Another lie is that Wave has some sort of exclusive right to manage TPM chips. TC specs are outthere available to anybody. Any software development company can write programs that will do the same exact stuff that Wave's software does. Why did not MSFT and others do this earlier? Because unlike this stupid greedy family outfit slash ponzi scheme, respectable companie don't throw away tens of millions of dollars on a product that nobody's ready to use yet. Now that TC is slowly taking off, MSFT came up with their own solution, and it's only a matter of time other major companies will do the same.
The fact is nobody needs Wave, nobody wants Wave. With the toxic reputation Wave has in the investment and corporate communities, nobody wants anything to do with them and rightfully so!
about 2 weeks left till Q4 results announced. gee! can hardly wait!
was the revenue 5 mil, or did they manage to keep it close to 7 mil somehow? did they lay off 25% or close to 50% of their personnel? my guessing 1/3. only 2 job openings on wave's website at the moment. ouch! the business must be booming!!!
"The truth is SKS could not be CEO of anything worthwhile, if his father had not given him the job he was totally unsuited for, totally unqualified for and of which he has made a horrible, arrogant mess costing thousands of people their life's savings."
Bluefang, nothing anybody can ever write would sum this up any better. Thank you!!!
Now, to be fair, SKS has made himself and a number of family members and friends extremely rich. And those individuals have every right to praise him!
3-5 years ago, 10 years ago, even a year ago, this pos could run up on no news for at least a few days while the sparagues and pp guys were dumping millions of freshly printed shares right into excited oids hands. it was very encouraging to see that when they tried the usual trick again about a week ago and had their 1 mil share day, it was only one day. that was it. next day there were no more buyers, lies laced powder ran out and the sp went back under a buck.
As the second month of a brand new year is disappearing in the rear view mirror with no new contracts, while trigger happy PP guys, Wave's management with their ATM machine, Safend shareholdres, and members of the Spragues family drueling around all of their options they can not exersise because there is no demand for the freshly printed shares, all of them are sitting and waiting to unload millions of these worthless shares...
This little scam of a company has attached itself as a leach to TC long enough. next week will mark the last time WAVX sp is anywhere near $1. 10 cents by late April.
WAVX = Root of Mistrust and Distrust!
Lark Allen was vacationing aboard Carnival Triumph after retiring from Wave.
no consumer will ever entrust the spragues family outfit with his or her identity, security, financial access, etc.
wave's reputation will kill any interest in any new product that this company will introduce.
dear stephen, please leave it to companies that conduct themselves with dignity, respect, honesty, professionalism, companies that consumers and business can actually trust, such as msft, google, apple, and crawl back under the rock where you belong!
wave = root of distrust and mistrust!!!
2 months from now, 2 quarterly reports later, a PP or two later and with sp lingering around 10 cents, they're gonna look back and say maaan! did not see this coming!
the reason for no PP is not that Wave does not need money, because they do, desperately, but because there are no buyers. this pos is on a verge of total collapse and we're talking weeks, not months. lol.
old warrants can be exercised as well. how many of those are around after dozens of PPs going back to 20th century?
every year 4Q b/e myth come out of a grave much like a zomby reason being irregular reporting. 4Q ends Dec 31st and does not get reported till mid Mar. therefore lack of infusion of healthy reality which quarterly numbers usually provide every 3 months, into the world of illusion and delusion carefully crafted by the spragues and co. i think this is the main reason why wavx sp peaks every year around this time. not to worry. anybody with a 1/4 of a brain knows they lost at least 5 mil and counting.
Wave may be involved:
http://news.yahoo.com/dogs-england-microchips-2016-114927652.html
Somebody does have to manage all those chips! And we all know there is a little company in Lee that's just right for the job!
See you all in Vegas!
