i believe that some modest success might be just around the corner.
but i also believe that they will sell the company once it's achieved. i hope i'm wrong
sp will end the month of february well above $1. mark my words!
wave just had the most disastrous quarter (the biggest lost per share) in its long history of nothing but losses. sp should be 1 cent, not $1.
re pilots. no, clients don't pay for pilots. each pilot blows another hole in wave's so called budget. hundreds of companies will agree to free pilots. that was the case under sks, same now. why would not they? it's free and they get educated about tc.
time to print more worthless shares i think!
on sp and investing in wave.
there are hundreds of start-ups with great potential, run by young smart energetic people.
why invest in this pos run by a washed out ex-general/bureaucrat who has zero experience in running any sort business? who's what? in his 50s if not 60s? who has a big happy family and who loves to sail down to Caribbean. yea, he's gonna take this pos to promised land! gimme a break...
this pos will close well below $1 this week.
the reactive pr was pathetic.
a few posters mentioned how hard they think Bill Solms is working for shareholders. hey! maybe they're right.
Mr. Solms makes his home in the Virginia countryside to the west of the Washington, D.C., area with his wife Miriam, and their children Billy, Edward and Ellie. He enjoys spending time with his family on their Virginia farm and taking them sailing to tropical destinations in his spare time
it's no smear campaign, just stating the obvious. time has already told you everything. you just don't wanna listen to it. he's been with wavx well over a year and there is not even a hint of any dod related business. or do you think wavx software will sell itself without the connections?
he's a career bureaucrat who milked his dod connections after leaving dod. but by now his bodies are all retired too, so he's completely useless. the spragues were the only ones willing to hire him. says a lot. lol.
"Solms has not made a significant financially meaningful sale." no kidding
"Meaningful sales take time." yea, but only if you have something folks want for sale.
"This is not where the company was previously focused." I disagree.
a few facts to ponder:
1. solms was hired over a year ago for his dod connections with a goal of closing some dod deals. the result is of course absolute ZERO. the previous regime at least managed to get some consulting deals with dod.
2. and since i have just compared the new and old regimes, let's go a bit further, shell we? per day solms has been in charge, wavx issued more worthless shares than when the spragues were in charge (per day), all the while losing more money, and at the same time paying off the spragues many times more than they would have gotten paid if they stayed in charge. lol.
3. wavx shareholders should be getting on their old knees and begging the spragues to come back, not putting this worthless career bureaucrat on the same pedestal sks used to sit upon. and the answer is NO, in case you're wondering whether anybody else would want the job.
at least they did not pre-announce this exciting announcement :) eom
people will never learn. the spragues are 4th generation of con artists.
their tech scam was invented by old Franky in late 19th century. even though it's Otis who invented and made elevators, franky cleverly attached himself like a leach to the idea, got some patents, made some useless improvements, and of course attracted some serious investments…
the history repeated itself several times since then. but of course it was the last generation of the spragues (steven and michael) who have perfected the family's scam business.
no, Peter and his boys had nothing to do with inventing TMP. their own security chip was a piece of junk and failed miserably, but you know the rest.
tvtonic was not an original idea of course either, nor scrambles.
anyway stay tuned for more "inventions" from the next generation of the Spragues. and perhaps sks and michael are not done either.
the fact is wave is a scam. always been.
the sp slide will not stop at $1.1 or $1.
all of the false optimism that the new regime has so cleverly built just went out the windows with this new PP. from now on, it's gonna be strictly "show me the money" attitude. and since there is no and will be no money, see you at 10 cents by september. enjoy the ride!
you can not argue with FACTS. eom
wave has similar agreements with HP, DELL, Lenovo and pretty much every other PC maker. so what?
each computer these days comes with a gazillion of different apps and softwares.
unless there is a customer for it, you get what you get with wave. multi-million dollar losses quarter after quarter, year after year, for 25 years and counting. only surviving on printing worthless shares cleverly pumped and dumped on gullible investors.
dear snackman, we've been thru this many times over the past 20 years.
you forgot to list a few dozen more names, all no less impressive.
they all have offered wave's products.
they don't pay wave for offering wave's product. in most cases wave pays them to offer wave's products. sometimes they do it for free. dell was the only one who did pay (or so the investors have been led to believe), but that's gone now.
in any case, the FACT is that nobody actually buys wave's products because nobody needs them.
honestly, wavx shares are completely worthless. should be 1 cent, not 10.
wave is one of the biggest scams on nasdaq, and certainly the longest.
this latest pp is a shining proof that nothing has changed. and how could things change? their product is worthless.
stay tuned to more paid-by-wave alliances and distribution agreements!
that's simply not true. i was thrilled when they got rid of the spragues.
it's now time for new bunch of crooks (headed by the corrupt ex-general) to enrich themselves at the expense of gullible shareholders.
If the new regime is so smart and shrewd as some portray it to be, then the most important message here is they have no close business at hand, no contracts coming. all they could do to stay afloat was print more shares. whether at 80 cents or $2, I personally can not care less. This pos of a company will burn thru any amount of money they can raise soon enough.
Some things have changed, but the most important ones stay all the same.
#1 being the FACT that this "company" is trying to sell a product that nobody needs. It's pathetic.
$1 sp by the end of the month. 10 cents by Labor Day!!!
feels like pre-GM trading, does not it?
and not like the usual pump-and-dump.
here's how it works. you leave your cozy dod job, join a private company and then milk your dod connections for contracts with appropriate kick-backs to your bodies. but eventually your bodies retire or move on, and then all of a sudden your magic touch of landing fat gov contracts is gone. oops!
deep down you know i'm right. sooner rather than later traders will get bored with this stock, the volume will dry up and it will go back under $1 where this pos belongs. actually it belongs under 10c but that's another discussion…
numbers don't lie. one look at the last quarterly numbers…
wavx has new management team that says all the right things and makes all the right moves. but it does not change a fact that this company is trying to sell a product that nobody wants or needs.
yes, if there is a GM type/size deal. if not, it will hit $1.0 soon
solms is a corrupt military type that milked his dod connections after he retired. that's what they all do. no talent. no nothing. this pos is going one way, the usual way, all the way down till the next reversed split. best of luck
lol. i've seen enough.
solms is a complete failure. was hired almost a year ago for dod and delivered absolutely nothing.
the always disappointing numbers are coming up after the close. 10 cents by august
if you're long and going strong and keep averaging down on this pos, no worries!
it'll be back to $1 in no time. as a result of 10:1 reverse split.
every year WAVX sp performs the best in jan and feb, and then gets completely destroyed every spring and summer. something to look forward to :)
no sign of dod business coming wave's way. oh well...
after leaving it alone for quite some time day traders are playing this stock again.
if there is a dod contract in 2014, it will be announced over the next couple of weeks. if there is no contract, 2014 is gonna be a VERY painful year for Wave.
Solms was hired for one reason only - his DOD contacts. if he can not deliver anything, he can say all the right things during CCs, it's all bs.
all these years gazilions of new shares were printed thru PPs and ATM to pay the Spragues salaries and bonuses. This time is different. This time it's to pay for their severance… LOL.
And when that's done, gazillion more shares will be sold by the Spragues themselves after exercising all of the options and warrants accumulated over the years. Sweet!
sks and the rest of the spragues are like cancer that just keeps coming back, are not they? sucking last few dimes out of long term investors. next thing they will start dumping their shares, options, warrants… boy! they sure have a lot of each of the kind. don't they care about this company, technology, never mind the investors? haha! stupid rhetorical question really… lol.
let's be patient and give solms jan and feb to close a large dod deal or two.
if that does not happen, i would advocate bailing sks out of jail and putting him back into the ceo seat, so that pp participants can make more money
I'm sorry but I strongly disagree. SKS has never been sincere. he's a pathological liar.
with all of solms' dod and msft connections, he better deliver something real soon. printing shares at just above a buck won't buy him much time.
i went and looked at the only place where moses reference could have come from. oh wow! whatever happened with moving on? i thought i was ready to, but after reading shameless claims that sks was the father of TPM and the mother of TC, and reading former ceo's reply to a shareholder every word of which was a complete lie, let me state a few FACTS.
the spragues have NOTHING to do with TPM. at the time time TPM chip was adopted, Wave was a hardware company that was manufacturing their own security chip. All those hundred of million TPM chips out there have nothing to do with Wave. Wave does not make them, other companies do, Wave does not get a penny off any of these chips.
Once their chips became worthless, the Spragues decided to reorganize Wave into a software company. A primitive piece of software to manage TMPs was written. Why did not MSFT and other big players want to write similar software at the time? Now so many years later we know the answer very well. They knew all along that TC adoption is a decade or two away. The Spragues were allowed to hang around all this time, because they promoted TC for free (well… at the expense of Wave's shareholders of course). free speeches, free pilots… SKS in particular has never been taken seriously. He's a joke. His only strength is conning gullible investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars. That's the only thing he's even been good at, but he of course had a LOT of help with that.
let's not kid ourselves, shall we? he was hired for one reason only - his DOD connections.
he's been here for a while now and so far there is no indication that DOD is about to give any sort of contract to Wave. He can say the right things and listen to investors all you want, but unless a DOD contract is coming this thing is dead. Wave keeps losing money. I was told the other day that all the cost cutting is not doing much short term because of the the severance pay. Wave is in a horrible position right now.
hi telstart, it's nice to hear. thanks. what bugs me a bit though is that Solms is almost too good to be true. in other words, he tells you exactly what you wanna hear, does not he?
I do hope your estimate of him is correct. But even if he is just a "dod one trick pony", that would be enough for now as long as he can close some major dod contracts.
i do respect Solms which of course can not be said about his predecessor unless one got filthy rich off all the PPs (i agree with snackman by the way - it's time to stop bashing sks and move on. some say hey! he's still on wave bod and fair game. i say not for long. and it's gonna be mighty hard for him to promote TC from behind bars. so i'm ready to move on). getting back to Solms now. with all due respect to the guy, he's not a brilliant salesman some portray him to be. he was dod. he left dod and used his connections to do business with dod. besides that i don't see much on his resume.
hi alea, you can analyze the numbers as much as you want but the success of wave hangs on one thing and one thing only. solms is a dod guy. he has tons of connections there and he's been using them to his advantage from day 1 in private sector - just look at his resume. at each place he worked for his main client was dod. if he successfully makes dod wave's client, this thing succeeds. if he does not, he can say all the right things during cc calls and cut expenses and improve the balance sheet, and wave will remain a total failure.
