I got long this morning on the dip on RL and held my puts since I dont have that big of a position in them.

I averaged down to 1.5 on my 160 puts for Jan 19, still holding my 165 calls from this morning.

Looked like a good way to minimize my risk.

Well, I think it's a decent play because if it moves the wrong way, you have the possibility of earnings pulling through. Doubt it gets to 12.5, but hey, if Nflx is at 100, amzn 270, and cmg in the clouds..... Who knows!

Snagged 155 @ .95, I'm not in deep but have a positions now for puts at 155 and 160

What most of us do seems to be pick 10 or so stocks and learn them.
Watch them for weeks and learn how they trade and how they react with the market. Then trade options on those stocks.
Weeklies for high risk high reward, and normally a bit out of the money for any option.

Probably hedging/planning on debt ceiling craziness. Not a bad hedge

With my luck, I normally sell and then it heads to a 10 bagger,
but for weeklies, a 4 bagger is no complaints.

My advice is, if you're up that much, take at least 75% off the table
