iTalk Expansion Into M2M Communication Sector.
Hello Traders
Shares of iTalk Inc. (TALK) could see increased activity today, following a press release just issued stating that the company, announce a strategic business expansion into the wireless Machine to Machine (M2M) communication sector. iTalk's new wireless M2M data products (hardware, software, network access, and services) will target the automated teller machine (ATM) and point-of-sale (POS) industry with flexible solutions to improve or replace antiquated manual or wireline transactions utilizing faster, more reliable, and more affordable wireless data networks.. Share prices have been holding firm around the $0.65 mark recently, but today's announcement could see them break up and out of their current trading pattern. Investors looking to capitalize will be considering adding to their positions early Monday.
iTalk's M2M products will bridge the gap between traditional dial-up, serial, Ethernet ATM or POS devices and established wireless carriers. The iTalk M2M product line will include a PCMCIA interface, mobile M2M router, and wireless hotspot. This flexible configuration will offer customers a wide range of options to suit the connectivity requirements of their existing ATM/POS network. Wireless M2M technologies provide important operational advantages due to faster connection speeds compared to dial-ups or 56K lease lines, increased network management capabilities (end-to-end monitoring, reduced truck rolls, and lower overall maintenance costs), and faster low-cost deployments with increased mobility. Recent industry research estimates that the M2M market is growing at a compound rate of 15 to 30 per cent per year and that up to 1 billion total devices will be connected via M2M world-wide by the end of 2014. M2M service providers are expected to continue to take significant market share from traditional wireline carriers over the next decade.
"Financial institutions, retailers, and independent ATM and POS service operators continue to look for new ways to decrease their overall operating costs, and one of the areas they're looking at is wireless," stated David F. Levy, Chief Executive Officer of iTalk Inc. "Today, most ATMs and POS devices use dial-ups or leased lines as their primary means of communicating transaction data. The cost to operate these outdated circuits accounts for one of the largest portions of any operating budget. We feel that iTalk M2M products can make an important impact in reducing these costs and increase the potential profitability of our customers."
iTalk has made a number moves recently that could add value to the company and shareholders' portfolios alike. On Friday iTalk announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary ITG Inc. is ready to begin an online marketing campaign to build its customer base and ramp up brand awareness for its progressive worldwide pre-paid long distance calling products. ITG currently generates more than $1 million in annual revenues, and with its innovative calling products revenues could rise in the near and long-term.
With share prices hovering around $0.65 TALK continues to trade at a discount to market, but we believe this will not be the case for long. Recent developments such as the strategic business expansion announced today coupled with a strong position in the growing wireless communications industry could add up to significant gains for iTalk moving forward. Does anyone have John Simmonds Cell Number?
Thanks
Yes they did protect furture investors. Why is there so many scams. They know they can walk away free and start another scam
The SEC does nothing. I have been investing for over 50 years and there was a time when the SEC did ther job.
There is no fool like a old fool. After John had his Heart problem
I though he would do better. All of the press releases that came out I believed him and brought more to average down. SEC is not protecting the investors, the investors get screwed and John goes free. Kissing my $34,000 good bye.
