I was told by a broker long ago that there are only a couple of reasons for squaring the books. Either the company requested it because of suspected collusion by the MM's or the SEC requested an audit because of possible up listing to another exchange.

Either way it seems strange that a company that has nothing going for it, according to some, would be having the books cleaned.

According to my broker, most of the trades in the last week were short coverings. Hmmmmm

Question: If Oxis is paying down debt with all these filings and you guys say the stock is going up to say .12 or higher, then why doesn't Oxis release the big news, wait for the stock to climb and then pay down the debt? Less shares needed.

It became apparent during the evaluation and development of the Ideal BioStent; that the use of intellectual property licensed from Rutgers would have introduced complications in the design of the Ideal BioStent. As a result, Xenogenics abandoned the use of the Rutgers technology effective January 2014.

On January 31, 2014, Rutgers notified Xenogenics of its alleged default of the provisions in the Rutgers License Agreement. On
May 9, 2014, Rutgers issued a notice of termination of the Rutgers License Agreement, and demanded payment of unpaid license fees
of $25,000, unpaid patent costs of $75,665, and accrued interest of $8,375. All of these claimed fees, costs, and interest have
been accrued in the accompanying consolidated financial statements. Management is currently evaluating the merits of these claims.

Simon has never provided a link showing that a penalty of $500K was paid on the bio stent. MCET was only libel for a particular compound in the scaffold. MCET decided to not use that compound so therefore no liability. My source, Gerald Newmin by phone 18 months ago. So it's his version vs mine. I'll stick to mine.

Multicell bought the world wide licensing rights for those patents years ago. They only licensed certain things to Corning but still control the patents.

Ronald Faris was a chief scientist for Multicell. He went to Corning along with the hepatocytes.
