Down and dirty goes the stock. The smell of the Nokia issue is far from good. "Null and Void" who are running this hootenany are communicating in their usual non effective manner. When this thing ends bad I suggest that "N and V" can begin their new jobs... doing puppet shows on the Santa Monica Pier. Ain't the truth just awful?

AMS13SAG...You hit the nail directly on the head. Current management is totally out of the loop from a talent standpoint. Their public relations skills are also suspect, as in they have none. It is most risky to have an attorney running a business. Attorneys are legal technicians and not business managers. The only worse scenario would be to have a doctor or dentist running the joint...they have even less managerial ability than lawyers if that is possible.The outfit needs a marketing person to take charge and take it to the next level.

The stock price goes up and down like a yo-yo largely because the current management has created an aura surrounding this company that promotes sensitivity and volitility.This nokia deal may or may not go away and if it does not or becomes prolonged then the stock has a dismal future...fancy technology or not.

IDCC is a very small outfit that is trying to go up against the big guys and those that invest in the little guy are by definition assuming a significant risk. The above will not be popular with investors that own this stock at high prices but, hey, I can tell them the truth or make them happy....I just cant do both at the same time.

My 3 sons 87....I'm just a well meaning guy who has owned and studied this stock for a number of years and feel the need to discuss it. I find it so interesting that people like you who are likely stuck in this dog will do anything to make themselves feel better about owning it...including the denial of the truth. Psychological defense mechanisms are fascinating...aren't they?

The arbitration matter runs deep my friends...very deep indeed and likely will reduce this stock to single digits. The Harry and Howard show, although humerous, is essentially rediculous. Harry has sold considerable stock over the recent months. Want a good tip? follow the money and you will understand their motivations to be totally self serving. All of the other hired hands that work there are simply message carriers for H and H and Co. Oh, and by the way...I am not a short, own none of this stock and would not buy it again if it were the only stock on earth. The company is too small and insignificant to matter in the total scheme of things. Remember this post six months from now.

GE Jim...Generally I only own stocks to sell covered calls. This stock dropped like a rock and I was out under covered call and did not notice the drop until after it occured. I believed at the time that the stock was in a stable mode and would, in fact, likely go up a few bucks during the next few days. Selling covered calls is a fabulous way to make money, however, when a stock drops so much so fast it creates a problem. That is the basis for my statement that IDCC is not worth owning for that purpose inasmuch as it is so hyper sensitive. The arbitration issue does not happen by chance. Nokia knows exactly what it is doing and the results could be extremely serious to the future of IDCC despite what other stockholders and the actors who run the company have to say. I will take my covered call busines elsewhere. The only reason I post at all is because I have been watching this stock for a few years and have made money buying and selling it and selling covered calls and in the process have become quite familiar with the company.

Nohotin..I have found that people who suspect others of not telling the truth usually have a problem with telling the truth themselves. I really am a well meaning guy...I always tell the truth and it just so happens that I really do like soup. See, you are getting to know me already.

Nohotin...I agree, a company is neither good nor bad because of its size. However, my point is that IDCC is a very very small company attempting to battle over dough with the big guys which is far from easy. In addition, your perception of my adjenda is invalid. You are guessing and guessing has a bad percentage of winning. I have no adjenda. I dont own a single share and dont sell short when I trade. I did own shares and bought and sold them many times producing a definate profit. My adjenda is merely explaining what I believe to be the truth about IDCC. As I have said...once people are committed to ownership and "cant get out" they become very supportive of their position largely because it feels better. Hope, my friend, is strictly for bystanders. JimLur....Stocks in good companies dont drop over 11 bucks a share in a few days. IDCC technology may be scientifically good but getting the big guys to actually pay them for it without a prolonged battle is yet another thing. IDCC is an extremely small and insignificant company in the world of business and hyper-sensitive to any news at all. If Harry or Goldberg sneeze the stock is likely to react. This does not occur in good companies. Most of the posters...likely including you, own this stock at very high prices and are constantly attempting to validate their original decision to by this dog in the first place. It is a natural psychological event...a defense mechanism if you will, however, it can be very very costly indeed. Time will prove me correct when this so called stock dips to single digits. Onceinalifetime....Absolutely right on the target. I have been posting the same message. Arbitration is a huge deal, top management of IDCC adjust the facts to suit their needs, 3G may or may not occur in the near time frame and any stock that drops over 11 bucks in two weeks is not worth owning. IDCC is a minute firm battling with the big guys and my bet is on the big guys. I see this stock in single digits in the near term.

Pochemunyet....No, arbitration is no big deal. Well,somebody must think it's a big deal inasmuch as this stock only dropped over 11 bucks a share in the last few weeks. This stock is hyper sensitive anyway. If Goldberg or Harry sells a few shares to scrape up some dough to build another swimming pool or pick up another Mercedes the stock drops like a rock as well...but not 11 bucks and it usually rebounds when the thinking few out there realize that it is just a matter of Harry and Goldberg maintaining their normal life style.

Buying opportunity? Nope,no way. This stock is heading to the $13s in short order and then who knows how low from there. When stocks drop significantly there is a tendency for stock holders to attempt to distort the truth by calling it a "buying opportunity" when in reality the stock dropped for a good reason which is being ignored. I believe it is a selling opportunity so that you dont lose more dough. The arbitration issue runs extremely deep and is extremely serious despite what the management dudes profess to be the case. Think about it deeply...what do you expect them to say. If they wear the right costume the part will play itself and these characters know it.. Basic show biz..simply the performing arts. If you hold this stock too long with what is happening you can expect the financial equivalent of a total sigmoidoscopy.

Consider this interesting fact...IDCC is selling for less than 15 bucks and a very short while ago it was over 25 bucks. The chances of this stock regaining the missing ten spot in any reasonable (if at all) time are about as good as mice barking. That is reality...not wishful thinking. ACTUALLY THAT IS THE BEST I CAN DO. I FORGOT TO MENTION IN MY ORIGINAL POST THAT THERE IS ALSO A NATURAL PSYCHOLOGICAL TENDENCY TO DEFEND ONES POSITION ONCE COMMITTED TO. CERTAINLY UNDERSTANDABLE HOWEVER THAT HUMAN FRAILITY COULD PROVE TO BE QUITE COSTLY UNFORTUNATELY.

I TRADED $7,000,000 WORTH OF VARIOUS STOCKS LAST YEAR AND MADE A GOODLY AMOUNT OF MONEY DOING IT. SO, I GUESS I AM FAIRLY EXPERIENCE IN THE STOCK TRADING GAME. I RECENTLY SOLD ALL OF MY HOLDINGS IN IDCC WHICH AMOUNTED TO 14,500 SHARES...AND I DID SO AT A LOSS. LET ME EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHY I DID SO.

I HAVE STUDIED THIS LITTLE COMPANY FROM TOP TO BOTTOM AND HAVE CONCLUDED THAT IT IS BEYOND A RISKY INVESTMENT. THE ARBITRATION ISSUE RUNS VERY VERY DEEP AND CAN HAVE MAJOR NEGATIVE IMPLICATIONS DESPITE WHAT THE SELF SERVING STOCK SELLING TOP MANAGEMENT SAYS. THIS IS A VERY SMALL COMPANY ATTEMPTING TO BATTLE HUGE FIRMS WHICH IS AN UPHILL STRUGGLE AT BEST. IN ADDITION, THE 3G THING MAY OR MAY NOT HAPPEN IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS AND THE ENTIRE IDCC FUTURE IS HANGING ON 3G WHICH IS UP IN THE AIR AT BEST.

I BELIEVE THAT THE TOP PEOPLE AT IDCC KNEW FULL WELL IN ADVANCE THAT NOKIA WAS GOING AFTER THEM BUT DID NOTHING TO NOTIFY THE STOCKHOLDERS OF IDCC IN A PROPER MANNER SO AS TO PERHAPS PREVENT THAT HUGE DROP IN THE STOCK PRICE THAT OCCURED OVER AN HOUR OR TWO. FURTHERMORE, DO NOT PLACE ANY VALUE IN WHAT ANY STOCK ANALYST DECREES. IF ANALYSTS KNEW SO MUCH THEY WOULD NOT BE ANALYSTS WOULD THEY?

MY BEST ADVICE IS TO EVALUATE SELLING THIS STOCK AND PERHAPS TAKING A LOSS NOW RATHER THAN A MUCH BIGGER LOSS WHEN THIS STOCK DROPS LIKE A ROCK TO SINGLE DIGITS WHEN THEY GET ABSOLUTELY SLAUGHTERED BY THIS ARBITRATION. KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE STOCK SALES ACTIVITIES OF GOLDBERG AND THE EVER POPULAR IDCC CHAIRMAN BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY TELLING.....VERY TELLING INDEED.

WHILE IT IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THIS COMPANY COULD TAKE OFF, I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT THE OPPOSITE IS MUCH MORE LIKELY TO OCCUR. THERE ARE THOSE THAT CONTINUALLY TOUT THIS STOCK AND THEIR MOTIVATIONS ARE SUSPECT TO ME. REMEMBER, WE ARE BY NATURE ALL SELF SERVING SO CONSIDER THE POSSIBLE MOTIVATIONAL ORIGINS OF PEOPLES BEHAVIOR VERY CAREFULLY. IDCC IS A HIGHLY RISKY INVESTMENT AT BEST AND PLACING SUBSTANTIAL FUNDS IN THIS STOCK COULD PROVE TO BE A MAJOR MISTAKE.

THERE IS A NATURAL PSYCHOLOGICAL TENDENCY FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO OWN THIS (OR ANY) STOCK TO SUPPORT IT AND TO IGNORE THE NEGATIVE ASPECTS. THIS OCCURS BECAUSE THE STOCK IS OWNED...COMMITTED TO SO TO SPEAK. DESPITE THE FACT THAT YOU OWN IT YOU MUST STOP THE WISHFUL THINKING AND STEP BACK AND LOOK AT IT DEEPLY. REMEMBER, YOU MUST LOWER THE STREAM IN ORDER TO SEE THE ROCKS.
