the departure of a cfo in a company like rprx could very well mean that they are a done deal.....theyre going to be taken out, and he is down the road because an opportunity showed up and one can not pass up on opps....imho.
one mans guesstimation is as good as anothers.
we're all just handicapping based on what we think we know with regards to drugs and drug mkts and based on the sellmanship of the ceo and the mouthpieces who are master story tellers and share salesmen.
only the shadow knows for sure.
i am a mike lowell fan, he can be a great ballplayer at fenway park with the green monster to afford him to hit doubles and bring in runs and with the pesky pole right field to help him poke the ball into that pesky corner out in right field, but he will be a big dud at yankee stadium.
i wish him the very best, i hope he can get the biggest contract that this past seasons numbers will inspire some owner to pay for.
outside of the friendly confines of fenway paaak ill guesstimate that mike lowell will be lackluster.
boston redsox world champs for the second time in this young century.
go sox go.
gotta give torre credit for getting the highest paid team in baseball to show up and do what theyre supposed to do in the firstplace.
i dont know Dew, i think posada is a real gamer and leads from the front with his clutch hitting and solid catching. personally i think posada is worth keeping, i have no idea what he is demanding for his services but one could build a solid team around him.
rivera is an old man, the rockies ought to step up and pay for his services, he would be devastating in the national league for a year or two. now bernie williams might still be able to make a comeback and giambi is worth every dollar the yankees can throw at him to sit on the bench.
go yankees go...i think they ought to bring back the big unit and bernie williams and give giambi a huge contract....living in the past.
Yankees make record pitch for Rivera
NEW YORK (Reuters) - The New York Yankees have made a $45 million offer to keep reliever Mariano Rivera with the team, the New York Times reported on Wednesday.
The Yankees were waiting for Rivera to respond to a three-year offer that would make him the major leagues' highest-paid relief pitcher, the newspaper said on its Web site (www.nytimes.com).
The New York Mets' Billy Wagner currently tops the wage charts for relievers averaging $10.75 million a season.
"It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it's a tremendous offer for a 38-year-old relief pitcher," Yankees senior vice president Hank Steinbrenner told the newspaper.
no position presently....but thanks for caring.
we all trust you. cant you tell?
nerf can you check ip addresses on this server to ensure were not being gamed?
are you upset that youre right or are you sad youre not wrong?
here is a compilation of the new ideas being introduced ....by the new messengers.
could be right could be wrong.
its only fair to look at them more closely to see what can be garnered from the message.

The specialists are holding JAV back today. There's a huge short position and I'm assuming the specialist, who are normally extremely crooked, are the ones who have a majority of the shorts. They are just making up shares to trade today. No way in hell there has been 850,000 shares sold today at these prices. I'm not buying that for a second.
gabewhatley
1.2 million shares sold???? yeah, right. LOL
Amex specialists have always been known as a bunch of crooks. Today is proving that. What a joke. It's worth $7.50 on speculation of approval 4 months ago, but $5 when it gets approved??? they should do a million share buyback and crush the shorts pressing it down
(change of signs) light turns yellow to red.
bumwrap
this stock is done for months. shorts have no fear now. positive ketamine results are already baked in the cake. revs are mid spring at the earliest instead of now with a cash burn rate increasing. next shoe to drop is the 35% institution holdings cutting bait. may already be happening. curious to see the next report showing their positions.
bumwrap
nerf their time frames have been historically off. if they say 3 to 6 then that means 6 to 9. stats dont lie. we shall see what the institutions haver done if anything soon.
gabewhatley
bumwrap isn't short. And neither am I. I have just under 200,000 shares of this POS. and I've been holding for about 8 months. If approval for Dyloject didn't move JAV up, what the hell will?? It's obvious that management, including Rick Pierce, is very incompetent. I was told personally by Rick that approval was coming in late spring, then late Summer, then he stopped taking my calls and returning emails.
(gabewhately and bumwrap have a relationship thus allowing for gabe to know that bumwrap isnt short.)
with that said, there's no question if the numbers JAV has released on potential sales of Dyloject are correct, JAV is severely undervalued. But it looks like the stock is going alot lower from here, for whatever reason. When stocks have huge reversals on monster volume, as it did yesterday, it ain't going up. NO way in hell.
bumwrap
listen dawg im just saying this is a longer hold than anticipated and its killing the stock and making some folks nervous. who the hell sold 1.2 mill shares yesterday the day of dyloject getting APPROVED. talk to me yo. short? nope. actually an investing friend of mine and myself have more shares than probably all of you combined. not bragging just accentuationg my interest here. i have talked to rick pierce, some writers to have published plugs on jav etc.
gabewhatley
I invested that amount of money in the company cause I thought it was a billion dollar market cap company, IF, and its a big IF, the projected sales of Dyloject are correct.
250 million in sales by 2012 per year. Multiply that out by 4, and you get a billion market cap, and that doesn't include their other two drugs.
I trade stocks for a living. I started with 20k in 1998, I'm worth about 3 million now, 1.4 million of that is in my trading accounts. thats right, a third of my net worth is tied up in this POS. if I could sell right here at $5, I would, but there's now way in hell I could get out of 200k shares anywhere near the price its at now.
joesuzuki
yeah thats it thats the ticket.
done for months? did you conduct an interview of the shorts?
and more importantly since im trying to evaluate you for the bs factor are you short...i know you are shortimer here but did you go short this morning since you have no fear.
im trolling for wisdom....hook a brother up.
maybe the prior ws appearances would matter if at the end of the year they were to add one victory for every prior world series championship.
but since they dont, all we have to count on is how many victories each team puts up during the season.
the future looks so bright all that redsox fans need is pair of "some cheap sunglasses".
arod shows up to win games agains noname teams when there is no pressure...we all know this about arod..its not a secret.
big deal so he steps up to the plate ONCE in a blue moon and wins a big game.
as a sox fan if there was one yankee batter id rather face, in the bottom of the ninth of a world series game seven and the winning run at the plate, it would be alex "the big apple in his throat" rodriguez.
redsox fans would fear almost any other yankee before considering him a threat to win or tie a big game against them under those conditions.
he is a very talented player nevertheless, this can not be denied.
david ortiz is worth ten alex rodriguez in any world series game.
tell steinbrenner alex wants to be a gazillionaire like him...he doesnt care what uniform he has to wear to get there...they are all in the major leagues.
arod says "show me the money" ball players dont much care anymore who they play for as long as they get what the market is willing to bid for their talent.
yankee shmankey...the only people that believe that anymore are yankee fans.
the sweetes thing of all for a redsox fan is the outlook for the future.
plus this years world series.
delete.
hey rocky fans....congrats on that historic run of games won down the stretch and into the playoff....kudos to the way you got there.
i just wish i can make it up to boston for the parade.............congrats to the redsox fans on this board.
sweeeeeeeeeeeep....how do you like them redsox now?
looks like we got ourselves a ballgame.
5 more outsssssssssssssss for the team of the century to be crowned WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS IN 2007.
i had heard the same thing about l.a. he had stopped apartment hunting in the big rotten apple sometime ago...
yes, the message sent said ..."we dont need no stinkin arod"
we got manny, ortiz, lowell,ellsbury,pedroia,becket,youkkkk,lester,bucholz,okayima,papelbon,dice-k...and on and on..
timlins pitching with the same intensity as papelbon.
lowell for mvp....
id have left him in...but thats becaus i saw what happened last night when he pulled dice-k and then the two runs he left on base came right in thanks to the early bullpen.
lester is a k with a bat.
now what was all the crapinsky everyone said about oritz at first base....he must be using youuuukk glove cause noone thinks he can play first.
yeah well its better than that, were only nine innings away if the number 27 is too big to handle....and if nine innings is too long, were only one game away. how do you like that for reduction to the ridiculous.
it's ridiculous.
gosoxgo.
SWEEP!!!!!!!!
why is terry franconas name tito?
manny hasnt been manny yet tonight, not with the bat at least.
it aint over till theyre down by ten....
they tried to get one past ortiz but it seems that he is using youkkkkks gold glove.
id get my money back from miss cleo....she was looking into the grand canyon instead of a crystal ball.
drew is such a cool guy.....he swings cool, he picks up base hits cool.......trade the dipstick already.
ok rockie fans, good luck and may the best team win.
gosoxgo.
"First base is normally where you hide a weak defensive player."
Don't forget Billy Buckner..lol
the redsox tried to hide buckner at first but unfortunately for us the mets found him..
you know what they say about opinions ... thanks for sharing.
lineup...elsbury pedroia youk manny lowell varitek drew lugo pitcher....
ortiz has the bad knee and will probably be used to pinch hit.
