Neither eminent nor imminent!
Perhaps at best a very worst case scenario, and very much discounted by current company performance. We'll just have to wait for some new numbers to come forth.
You're a gambling man... Start the rally. Go for it! Who needs management? Only shareholders count!
Diminishing interest comes to mind. Nice to see die-hards maintaining interest, even with little to no hope.
Do not forget: "Buy low, sell high"!
I suspect that you are right. Hopefully this Index selling should end soon.
I think most of us are baffled as to how how the MMs do this. But now that we know, future re-indexing will make long-term WAVX share holders carefully think about their strategy.
Russell Indexing. On June 25, 2010, the volume hit 11.4 million as Wave was added to the Russel Index. SP barely moved from 3.4 to 3.6. MMs provided shares they didn't have and have now covered for a lovely return for themselves.
We should see SP rebound now that all that is over.
Till death do us part!
You will miss the resurrection!
Dimming hope in a resurrection continues to dim.
Simple: wait and see!
That would be about $1000.
Yes, but this is the realm of possible and not guaranteed.
If WAVX goes cash positive in Q3 than the ATM may well be turned off by the end of this month. It may even be off already. Average volume for the last 8 days has been under 200k.
As I said we will know when Q2 results are announced in August.
Well it was SKS that said so. If you do not believe him now then just wait for Q2 results to be posted in August. This paradigm shift is gaining rapid traction. It is beginning to happen now. We should see this impact WAVX SP this year.
There is no simple answer here and the issue is very complex. WAVX Q2 will be clearly be better than Q1. How much better is another question. I suggest that you prepare yourself to be shocked as sp rises from current levels. The int'l. TPM scenario in a great part depends on an independent party carrying the keys. I do not think Wave will sell itself to Intel or any other TPM partner in the near future.
It is frustrating. Looks like the market is waiting for proof of concept. That should come with Q2 and Q3 results, perhaps sooner with some major announcements. I continue to add at these levels. Down the road those not buying at these levels will pound their heads and say: "It was so obvious, why didn't I add at 90 cents a share."
Ok, but promise not to bid up the price! :)
Is it now time to finally sell or buy? :)
2012 May 21, A "threats report" was released by McAfee showed that the number of new pieces of malicious code, or "malware," targeting Windows machines in the first three months of this year was the highest in four years. There was also a rise in malware aimed at mobile gadgets running on Google-backed Android software and at Macintosh computers based on Apple operating systems.

I bet there was a lot of short covering and smart buying by long-term wave share holders with good vision. This would also include some institutional buying recognizing the long term value.
Wave reported Q1 total net revenues of $7.0 million, compared with $7.5 million in Q1 '11 and $11.0 million in Q4 '11. Both Q1'11 and Q4'11 net revenues benefited from large enterprise customer licenses that were recorded ratably during 2011, amounting to $1.7 million in Q1 '11 and $2.7 million in Q4 '11. Wave recorded a Q1 '12 net loss of $8.3 million, or $0.09 per basic and diluted share, compared to a Q1 '11 net loss of $2.3 million, or $0.03 per basic and diluted share, and a Q4 '11 net loss of $4.9 million, or $0.05 per basic and diluted share. Per share figures are based on a weighted average number of basic shares outstanding during Q1 '12, Q1 '11 and Q4'11 of 90.2 million, 82.2 million and 88.5 million, respectively.
I believe that would be highly illegal and subject to major penalties.
Here Here!!
"It is because the technology and investment community are pretty much all ignoramuses about what is right before their collective wiggling noses."
Your thoughtful response clearly indicates much skepticism and a “show me the money” position – all totally understandable. I am not a man of faith, but I do have faith in many “things,” including Wave Systems and its role in the future of secure digital communications. The declining share price has been very painful, but I recognize that it is more due to artificial forces as opposed to real corporate weakness. Thus I continue to accumulate on weakness and urge the faithful to do the same. The tide seems to be turning, but the overhead mooners remain unpredictable.
You can still get shares cheap today ahead of the CC. Wave up, market way down.
Your optimism is a breath of fresh air. I assume you're looking forward to adding a significant number of shares following the CC.
You certainly nailed that one!

About Wave Systems (www.wave.com)
Wave Systems Corp. reduces the complexity, cost and uncertainty of data protection by starting inside the device. Unlike other vendors who try to secure information by adding layers of software for security, Wave leverages the security capabilities built directly into endpoint computing platforms themselves. Wave has been a foremost expert on this growing trend, leading the way with first-to-market solutions and helping shape standards through its work as a board member for the Trusted Computing Group.
The game is actually 4-D and I agree that SS is on top of the play. However, I do have serious doubts on whether all the BofD are currently up to snuff in this fast changing realm.
This would be very new if true:
"The system works via a downloadable plugin which works with all the major web browsers, including Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. There’s even a version for Firefox on Android."
