Highest volume of the year, year-end tax selling should be done, 100,000 shares offered taken quickly, security hot, new CEO...been waiting a long, long time for the confluence of buy signals.
Ditto. Adding here. EOM
Coming to support with positive earnings growth and a PP already factored into the price. Technofundamentals say to put some buy orders in under the market. It could be the best opportunity since it broke $4 after the first HP news years ago.
What he said.
The owners spoke, management listened. Fiduciary responsibility going forward should be the only repercusion. Money well spent.
I doubt the media cares, or will care, who is on the BOD of Wave Systems. Nothing too shocking about a block of shareholders protecting their investment. Big holders do it all the time.
I didn't take the survey, but I will vote my shares "NO" because a no vote preserves share value. WAVX will then adjust the proposal to a volume of options more commensurate with reality.
Talent will come if the ultimate reality is what Steven says it is.
The dilution is just less, is all.
Pretty simple.

bially...Wow 84, not bad for a wavoid! But no sports allowed. So all I will say is if the health care world adopts this security, it will be AWESOME!
I am going to read every post tonite. I have not seen a stock price today. I agree that the units will be out there but I have no idea if they will get turned on so I don't have much to say. I can read the chart, though.
Never really left. Been following the charts. Love the breakout.
Nothing much to contribute. Daughter works for a major international public software company in healthcare field. They use WAVX enabled Dells. I will let you know if they activate the WAVX security, but so far they have not.
anything interesting in this? See link below...

allshore, looks like $2.26 today! How have you been?
Correction $2.36
Nah, give it at least $2.25 until proven otherwise!
Hey Bung Bill,
I may have to dust off my 7 splits in 7 years model if the revenue trend continues...of course, the now ancient Dell model occurred in the mother of all bull markets.
And, while there is nothing quite like a hot software stock, because of the low cost per unit, Mr. Softee is ALWAYS to be watched with a jaundiced eye.
WAVXD= WAVX Delivers!
Well, as I've said, there is nothing like a hot software stock. If the market holds this puppy can run!
Earnings cover a multitude of sins!
Yes, it appeared they kept it pretty close to the vest. Very exciting to see revenue approach the million dollar level!
I suspect we will see some volume tomorrow!
I am hoping for the best but if numbers are going to be good tomorrow the insiders have shown remarkable restraint with leaks.
The volume has yet to tell the tale!
it's the dollar value of trading that matters, not the % of the float 160K shares @ $1.60 is not evidence of conviction.
serious money has not come in for two years unless that Intel/IBM spurt to $5 was within past two years...yah, the one Feeney unloaded into!
Cash position and imminent dilution put a check on serious backing until and unless revenues materialize.
Correct, both are anemic IMHO, and since we ALL know reverse splits are followed by inital declines in the majority of cases, it will be interesting to see what WAVXD does.
Anemic trading is a now a good thing as it means there is no conviction to buy or sell and since we are most worried about the anticpated volume being sells, low volume is a good first step.
However, to call a bottom, I need to see VOLUME. I need conviction.
This trading is sort of Brownian motion. I can't get excited about it, although, overall, I'd say it is short term marginally a positive sign.
important read..AKAMI's story...
Pre-split or post-split the important thing is the dollar value...400K at 0.70 or 200K at $1.40 = $280K...peanuts if there is a conviction to truly buy or sell.
I need to see REAL volume to call a bottom...
Dave's experience is absolutely inadequate, then. My experience includes three reverse splits, one survived and prospered (CRED), it had a real product (natural gas), two went under (software). That is a success rate of 33% or a failure rate of 66%.
In any event, it depends on the product and the cash position, WAVXD is dangerously low on cash, true, but with a promising product, it can raise cash.
Ergo, the reverse is an opportunity if the bullish story is correct.
Technically, I'd write off this weeks trading post reverse so far. The test will be when the volume reappears. Currently, the volume is insufficient to judge conviction, or lack thereof.
LOL, I'd feel better if WAVXD had natural gas in the ground, but hot software can more rapidly produce profits.
Hey TJ,
Great post and good to hear from you.
I survived a 1:10 reverse with Credo Petroleum, a little natural gas company. It went to 5/16 did the 1:10 a few years back and has split 3:2 twice and trades at around $20 these days.
In any reverse split the key is the fundamentals. If you have something that has a future, right after the reverse is a good time to load up.
WAVX should be okay if they have something people want.
Well, first off the reverse has to be less than 1-10, I'm told, and that is good as it means less shorting IMHO. The discount is based on the typical decline immediately post split.
The true value is based on the future news not the share price.
Insider Trading
If the reverse happens then I will be watching insider buying very closely. If good things are in the pipeline, as the bulls believe, then the insiders will surely accumulate shares at the discount opportunity presented by a reverse.
If shorts hammer the stock down, say to $3 from $6 in a 1-10 split, and you know the earnings are coming in a quarter or so, who wouldn't load up at a split adjusted 35 cents? I'd expect to see strong insider buying in one of the greatest buying opportunies in the long, and sordid, history of Wave Systems.
The reverse is irrelevant to everything except short term price and funding the company.
If the company has nothing it matters not.
esp. these days when WAVX is fighting to get above $1...
Thanks bow and all. And congrats to those who bought the cup and handle lower. I think one TA site is as good as the next;
http://stockcharts.com/index.html Murphy is quite good...
Technically speaking, I'd peg short term support at $0.85 and if it holds above a buck for three days, next stop $1.50. If it breaks $0.85, might get it for $0.70.
I still don't have my sea legs riding this wave...
I wonder about market maker games related to making charts shout "buy" or "sell" these days.
And, gold at $700 is saying something, too!
Hey guys, the technofundamentals don't lie and the tape tells the tale.
I have been following the promising fundamentals, although I can't say I understand all the details of the technology anymore.
The technicals have been poor since July 05 but a cup and handle caught my eye (March to late April) and the breakout from the handle (despite delisting notice), that also broke a year long down trend, can't be ignored.
Cash/dilution is still a worry, but these are the best overall technofundamentals in a long, long time.
If Dudash does not think this chart indicates a positive breakout (buy signal) he is not a technical analyst.
Long term Technofundamentals are positive for the first time in a very, very long time.

still like gold stocks, kry is risky but if Chavez let's them play in his sand box it is a $10 stock!
Well, dig, enough rain to have me evacuated from my beach vacation (thank goodness for hurricane insurance).
Jesse the refugee Livermore
Hi eamon,
Things are good. WAVX would be the icing. Still riding the gold stocks mainly.
Starting to get the itch to trade but would have to be very nimble if I do.
JLL
Hmmm, could be an intermediate bottom today! Nice reversal. If the market holds...
Jesse Looking Livermore
Hi maggy, I had Afleet Alex in all three races, but the Belmont was a beaut!
Credo splitting 3:2 again. This is the second split 3:2 since my $10 buy.
Hi again abe, surfs and all, and to those that sent a PM I can't answer as I have a free account without the PM privilege.
My tecknofundamentals are a bit rusty but, who knows, if this puppy learns to bark again I may dust off the crystal ball.
Right now the macrofundamentals don't look too good for the US consumer who is supporting a lot of stuff. Kantbelieve it cost me $39 to fill up my small gas tank!
Hey CMF, Dell is selling desktops cheaper than MYTURN.COM ever did!
Hi Mag,
I hope you and the fam are all well! I love the new bypass. Maybe will see you soon.
JL
Hey Snackman and all,
Jesse L. Livermore checking in.
I have been following the boards on and off intermittently as the L still stands for long. I sort of changed careers in 2001 and my market hours time is not my own, so I can't play on the computer during short breaks like I used to in the good old days.
I am not sure I understand WAVX anymore but it sure seems to have more lives than Shirley MacLaine. When I started it was the meter, then it was the chip, now it's the software, or is it the TAN?
Anyway, the deals seem solid and we are still listed, so something is going on. I enjoyed the thread about $500 a share and even typed a post calculating what our earnings would have to be...unfortunately, or not, I accidentally deleted it.
Regards to all the 'oids.
Jesse
Credo: The little gas company that can. Jesse likes this companies ability to get gas from old wells. Purchased at $10 and can double again.
