So I'm a complete rookie with how trading works and bought the hype and bought in a long time ago. Now, I have a negative balance in my Scottrade account because this is the only stock I ever bought and the charged me a reorganization fee!!! What the hell? Now I'm left with 22 shares after a couple of reverse splits. How do I get out of this stock? When trying to sell those shares, it won't let me since it's such a small amount. Help?
No funding news until possibly 6 months
A great tech update would have included what the tech is capable of now, maybe some updated pictures or video.
All the eggs are in the government funding basket it seems. Company valued at $5 million currently. Seems that there will need to be another reverse split at some point...due to dilution.
Not much of a tech update unfortunately...
Here comes the tech update...can we get something of substance?

Help me understand your point of view. What would be considered USEFUL content with 3dicon?
I just got a chance to read the letter from Willner just a few minutes ago. The letter is positive and it looks as though management is making progress on both objectives. This letter is a communication to the shareholders that an acquisition is not done and they still need time. If it is anything else (to sustain pps) than it isn't showing in trading today.
Many on here quoted the 30 to 45 day timeline to acquire/partner with a company and I always thought that it was unrealistic. There are too many variables to put timelines on the process. What I appreciate is that the management understands that moving a technology such as this to market is "evolutionary" and their goal is to do it quickly.
I feel like 3dicon is in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation with many on here. I try to take super positive posts and super negative posts and find the happy medium....that tends to be the realistic route.
A bit about Philips and 3D

Just found it interesting that Philips was the only company mentioned
You're right about the lack of details. I am very excited about the nature of the update.
The content is specific enough in that reassures the common stock holder that the company is indeed making acceptable progress on their timeline.
That was a VERY POSITIVE letter
If we are looking at the Yongsen connection, a couple of TV companies come to mind.

I don't see the PPS staying where it is unless there is more concrete news of improvements or acquisitions.
Prior to the R/S, the PPS was sub-penny. What does this PR change in terms of status?
It reminds me of the dog races with the bunny acting as a carrot to encourage the mutts to run faster. This PR is positive, don't get me wrong, but still not a word of anything concrete in regards to prototype or funding.
Not sure if the PPS will stay where it's at with that PR. Who do you all think is the potential partner?
What a bad taste in my mouth.....
I had a post removed citing that I was off topic. Can someone please explain to me what the issue was? My post was directed to Christians who are invested in 3Dicon, and many here are. I don't feel like I was calling anyone out in anyway. Just wondering how it was off topic is all.
Perhaps some mezzanine funding and private investment will be used to help secure a partnership...

Willner does have so vast experience in fundraising.
By what means does the company acquire a another company without revenue? What are some thoughts about how this will go down? R/S and pay off in shares? I also found this line extremely interesting:
In reference to acquiring a company with 3d products and purchasing or licensing 3d tech....
"In order for us to move forward on either of these options, we would need to gain a significant and sustainable competitive advantage in addition to generating revenues."
This can go a couple of ways guys, and I want more than anything for the reason behind bringing on 4 business writers to be positive.
It's also quite possible the writers were brought on to handle the R/S language and releases, could also be acquisition related.

I agree that the experience has to have been the contributing factor. I also assume that the progress of the tech merited such a move.
Another thing to consider here is that while Sid was hired at a base salary of $120,000 (at will).....the new guy is in for $180,000 (at will). Why the increase in pay?
I'm under the impression that the prototype is not finished. It looks like from the outside that leadership believes they are close. I think that possibly the next PR release will also come out of left field, something unexpected.
The PPS is concerning, but until the company defaults, I will not be swayed by the winds of the storm.....like others on this board.
I was wondering the same thing. I was very surprised to see Sid step aside, but maybe everything has been met ahead of schedule. I hope we get another update asap.
News tomorrow would be great.....tech update following personnel update. It's obvious to me that the new CEO was hired to raise capital, based on his resume.
Wait and see mode....
I think posting or writing someone's opinion verbatim would be categorized as plagiarism correct?
I'm buying as soon as funds clear...for what it's worth. Until proven otherwise, Sid is a man of integrity.
I agree that Sid has not had sufficient time to show his worth yet, and judging his performance should probably be reserved for after his "timeline" has passed. He made a plan, let's all relax a bit and see if he sticks with it. The man and his buddies have impressive resumes and I am looking forward to good things.
Egg, what kind of update would you say would be sufficient before a R/S....theoretically? What would exemplify WELL informed?
No arguments Egg, I think just differing viewpoints. I try to not get too frustrated or impatient with the PR situation. When Martin Keating was in charge, I know PRs were sporadic. I appreciate that Syd organized a meeting, recapped on November 1st for those of us not able to attend, and gave us a timeline.
If you look at a huge company like Boeing,
http://www.boeing.com/companyoffices/financial/news/index.html
they have had 10 PRs to 3Dicons 3 in the same time frame. He's also been kind enough to answer personal emails. I think if the R/S happens and there isn't an explanation, and we go a month after that without an explanation, I will reach my tipping point. This month before the expiration date for the R/S will be something to watch.
I realize Oklahoma owns the patent....but I'm sure they represent it.
Someone posted that "a PR could be written in 30 minutes." I am certainly no expert in the matter, but I know that 3dicon, as a patent holder, must be very, VERY, careful about what contents are shared. Take a look at the requirements that this website has for releasing PRs....might take more than 30 minutes.
I'm sure anything that is written by the company has to be given the once or twice over with a fine toothed comb and be reviewed by legal counsel.

I saw the emphasis on multiple colors too. Looks like the display material has been determined, they can produce multiple colors, and the brightness can be played with. That EVTB has to be done now, no?
First thing that jumps out at me is the emphasis on a variety of display material and variable brightness control.
Now what are the key differences in this patent version.....reading in progress.
I think the different thing about TDCP is that it is a groundbreaking company without any revenue worth speaking of. Typical R/S take place when companies have had a product that sold well and had "X" share price and is now sliding and trying to be rescued.
TDCP has never had anything other than Pixel Precision to sell. If the TSP is ready to sell, a R/S coupled with sales should drive the PPS up.
Just thinking out loud, thoughts?
A 35 to 1 split at .03 cents will put the pps at just over $1.00 while decreasing shares available.....this would be attractive to investors in my opinion.
No way this thing gets to a dollar pre-reverse split unless the news is astronomical. I sense a reverse split coming soon, just my gut.....
