My bad! Thanks for the clarification.
Great news either way, time for this stock to take off IMO. ??
A new news post is available on this board. Here's a quote about this new distributor.
"Len-Tex has been diligently testing various institutional disinfectants and cleaners on their wallcovering since the onset of the pandemic. The concern with many of the disinfectant products has been the tendency of the cleaners to create a yellowing or discoloration to the wallcovering. After rigorous testing and research ensuring the compliance of the cleaning product with the latest standards, they found Hydrolyte® effectively disinfects while protecting the original appearance and integrity of their products. To read more about the testing on the Len-Tex blog visit this link."
Great link, thanks!!
This does not specify a time zone. I was wondering if its eastern time zone...
Thanks!
Is that 5:30 eastern?
Did the CEO confirm or state that the quarterly report will be on time? Past report or two they had to request extensions due to Covid.
Just curious to know if PCTL stated this one will be on time.
Thanks in advance.
Love PCTL!
What is ATM?
I'm wondering if more people will come if they see more news and discussion on this board...?
I'm not sure how to post a sticky, I think I need a premium account. Do you know how to do this?
Should this notice be A stuck note for the board? Seems like it should...
Well, that is some super good news! Even if it did leave a mild residue, sounds like it would be easy enough to rinse off after some time for those who are sensitive to the downstream byproducts!
Gotta love PCTL!
Hospitals and medical and research labs do use disinfectants that can be difficult for staff to use for any length of time. A very real number of workers react to repeated hand washing disinfectants, latex gloves and other PPE that is considered standard and necessary in these work environments.
I've worked in hospitals and labs and for those who suffer from reactions to standard cleansers, there are very few options other than nitrile gloves and trying other approved cleansers. I was lucky in that I did not have significant reactions in these environments using latex gloves or standard hospital hand and surface cleansers. Others I worked with were not as lucky.
In addition, things like Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) and various other related health issues are not yet fully recognized by the CDC, Surgeon General's Office and other US health officials.
All of these issues combined are part of the reason that NIH, CDC, WHO and others express caution regarding the use of disinfectants, masks, gloves and other PPE that may be more harmful for some people.
And, then there is the development of super bugs, bacteria, which are very different from viruses, that can be created from bacteria mutating due to the repeated use of cleansers. The bacterial DNA can mutate and cause new bacteria that is resistant over time when exposed.
Unfortunately this is not a simple situation of whether to disinfect or not disinfect. Clearly we need to disinfect and render Coronavirus virions uninfectios. But we also want to be careful of not creating problems for the healthcare, food manufacturers and supply chain, shipping industries etc workers who may suffer from unintended impacts trying to stay safe with disinfectants. We've likely got a long way to go and we need to keep all of these people safe and healthy! So hopefully, the PCTL cleansers can render the Coronavirus virions uninfections and not cause other problematic side effects.
I'm long PCTL, just commenting on the note earlier about residues being left behind after misting or fogging. GO PCTL!
Regarding the residue that may be left from disinfectants, I actually prefer that no residue be left behind. If the viral particals (virions) can be killed quickly, which Coronavirus is a type of virion that the outer shell is easily broken down, then it may be better to not leave a residue.
There are individual's in our society that are very susceptible and reactive to chemical residues, fumes, odors etc. If the PCTL mist or fog can deactivate the Coronavirus by destroying the outer shell and not leave a significant residue, then it might be a triple bonus:
1. destroys the virion outer shell rendering the virus inactive,
2. does not harm those who are sensitive to chemical residues, and
3. possibly prevents other bacteria that comes in contact with the mist or fog from mutating into super bacteria that we see today from over use of disinfectants and antibiotics.
Sometimes less is more. If a disinfectant can do the job, and not have other negative unintended consequences and side effects, from my perspective, that would be most desired.
I have not taken a detailed look into the cleansers that PCTL uses so this is just from my personal and professional experience and is mostly my opinion. But I do have personal and professional experience with chemicals, removal of chemicals from the air and struggles with my own chemical sensitivities. Chemical sensitivities and an inability to use masks is a real thing and is recognized in the mask literature and use protocols. So hopefully the chemical that PCTL is using gets in, does it's job and does not leave any potentially harmful residue that might affect individuals who are or are not at risk of chemical exposures.
The big announcement with a link to the PR is a yellow sticky dated 4/18/20.
Thanks so much for checking this!
Isn't Friday typically a sell off day before the weekend?
Beermoney's post: #94951 is excellent and clearly delineates pctl's claim regarding EPA approval under a guidance to registrants not the EPA list-N.
"The application was filed under the guidance document “Guidance to Registrants: Process for Making Claims Against Emerging Viral Pathogens Not on EPA-Registered Disinfectant Labels.” It was approved on March 26th, 2020."
Hypochlorous acid is used by pctl and I was curious to see if this is in the EPA-N list but I'm not sure if I looked it up properly. I found 6 entries that came up when I searched using hypochlorous acid. They were brand names.

Also, Fidelity Is now allowing purchase of PCTL.

Awesome news about EPA listing. I just found this article from early yesterday morning. Apologies if it's already been posted.

Enjoy!
Yes, it jumped 88% then it jumped 66% then it jumped 40 something % then it fell to less then half in a few days. At the top we were around $0.086. We fell to around $0.036. More than 50% down within 2-3 weeks.
Very odd to me without any negative test data or reports, DOW was up and down during this 10-14 day rise.
So why drop to less than half? We're still over 50% down from $0.086...
Not bashing this stock, love this stock, but it ran up then fell day after day while the DOW had its most extreme ups and downs. VIX almost hit 87!!!!
So mostly feeling in the dark and doubtful that this stock price has any current linkage to anything right now. No consistent link to major market movements, no consistent link to spread of coronavirus, no link to reports, charting would be random guess given technicals have no buy/sell foothold or reporting data to rely on....
It seems to me short term is a guessing game. Long term is likely awesome IMO.
Long and strong PCTL. ??
Selling and installing more units sounds great! But when a state official declares shelter in place (TX governor evaluating this tonight after several TX hospital groups request this) what does it take for PCTL to get on the list of providers that would even be noticed to have people out and about installing systems? And, how much testing of newly installed units would still be required?
More shelter in place and rolling shelter in place mandates are likely based on WHO, UK, other European country and far east reports and discussions.
Data from China, S Korea, and even northern Italy are beginning to show real slow down from isolation. China has gone from 4% death rate, now at 2% death rate to eventually reaching 1% death rate overall over time. This was achieved from isolation while the medical and research communities could do their job to continue characterizing the virus, test potential cases, and get treatment and vaccine human trials underway.
I'm long PCTL, just curious as to how a small, unknown company can become known and get into hospitals etc in the near term.
For us newbies, would one of you mind teaching us how to properly interpret the bid and ask data? I can see some level 2s but not at the level of detail you discuss on this board.
Please try not to use acronyms without spelling then out first. I'm sure you're all busy, but if someone could explain, with an example or two, how bid and ask matter, and how level 2s and market makers (mm) matter, that would be a huge help and would probably benefit so many people in PCTL who want to go long but get spooked by those who trash this stock.
So far I'm happy with what's happening but feel very in the dark when so many posts are flying by that I don't understand. From what I can tell, the bid and ask and the level 2s are something the experienced traders watch closely.
Thanks in advance, looking forward to making some money here. I've used the little bit of saving I have hoping to be in better financial shape later this year!!!
I have fidelity and TD Ameritrade and I use their active using tools. But I don't see any data in my time and sales window.
What trading house/software shows the level 2 data you're seeing this morning?
Do you trust chart patterns for a penny stock? Movements are so erratic, largely based on latest PRs or board blogs etc. Seems like chart patterns might not mean much until real steady growth with institutional investors...
Not trying to challenge you, mostly just asking for your thoughts on charts for a penny stock.
Oops, meant to say "rush this" not "roti this"...
Crazy incorrect spell checkers!
Yes. Also I set up a new ACH transfer with my bank. This would normally take 3 days to clear. I asked TD Ameritrade if they could roti this and they put on a request to do so. The funds were available for purchasing stocks under $5 the following morning!
Don't hesitate to call the broker, never know what is possible.
Yes! Fidelity and TD Ameritrade both said I can do an ACAT transfer and move part of an account or an entire account, cash and stock from one trading house to another.
Just beware this can take a few days so not good to wait until last minute if you need to trade once the transfer is initiated.
TD Ameritrade is trading PCTL today.
Fidelity will not trade until all pctl fillings are up to date.
Major markets are down today after US air strike on Iran. This could very likely be affecting risky markets as well.
Pctl is very slow today...
That's awesome!
Was he kind enough to say when we'll all be very very happy...?
Is it me or are the pctl trades moving slow this morning... Seems to be stuck at bid .007 and ask .0072
This registered agent makes sense if they're having difficulty filling their required reports on time.
Just spoke with TD ameritrade. Their online system is having issues, they are working the problem. He did not see any stop on their end for pctl but said that some trades for many stocks are not going through. He also said keep trying because some trades are going through.
They're slammed this morning with phone calls. I was on hold a good 20 minutes.
What does ask being thin mean? Can you give an example?
Just talked to fidelity, they will not fill orders for pctl even with penny agreement.
My recollection is that a debt payment is due on Jan 2nd. Lots of people on this board have mentioned, that based on the earlier Dec debt payment that did not result in a stock dilution, that it is likely there will also be no stock shares sold / dilution for the January 2nd deadline.
Question: how will the debt payment /refunding / reconsolidation decision be announced on Jan 2nd?
From your experience, is this typically done via a company PR, posting at the company website, or some other announcement?
This stock looks so promising, just trying to better understand how real information flows from PCTL to the public stock holders.
Thanks to all for your efforts!
OK, newbie question here.
In the trades tab does green mean shares bought and red mean shares sold?
Seems like each trading system is different...
PS - I love that you found a use for the word "whom".
Love that word! Doesn't seem like I get to use it often enough.
Who, Whom
Tomato, tomato
Nice to talk to smart folks on iHub!
I don't see anyone selling shares nor do I know what someone selling shares would look like. I was asking about options trading and the options that expire tomorrow.
I apologize for my ignorance on options trading. I assumed that if they are going to exercise the option they have to do it by tomorrow when the options expire. Since the stock price is way below the options strike price or $0.33 they will lose money unless they cancel the option tomorrow, correct?
My post about the options was a question not a statement. I know very little about options and would love to learn more!
Thanks!
OMG - great info!
It looks like these are the two options open and roughly constitute $15K total.
Date Issued: 01/01/2016
#Issued:90,000
#Exercisable: 90,000
Exercise $: $0.33
Rem Life Yrs: 1.25
Expires: 12/31/2019
Value: $8,550
Date Issued: 01/01/2016
#Issued: 75,000
#Exercisable: 75,000
Exercise $: $0.33
Rem Life Yrs: 1.25
Expires: 12/31/2019
Value: $7,125
There are also 200k more shares expiring in Jan 2022 at $3.33 but I assume that won't matter in 2020, correct? They've got time to reach that strike price.
From the little I know about how options can mess up a stock price, when the options are about selling at a super low price, that drags the stock price down. When the options are about holding or selling at a higher price, that can drive the stock up. These stock prices are at $0.33 so that should be good for us right?
Perhaps not so good for the options holders give that the stock price is under a penny...
Well, I suppose we've all been there!
-Thanks!
So true werd!
That's why I'm double checking when someone talks about a rumor they heard. iHUB'ers are awesome but don't have all the info all the time. It takes a village so to speak to get all the info. It seems like no matter how much research IHUB'ers do there are still so many facts left unknown as a company moves forward!
So, just doing DD to cross check statements made on iHUB to see if more info is available when someone did not clarify something.
Not to mention that clarification might help others as well when they are deciding to buy a new stock on an OTC.
You're all awesome - Thanks!
