Hey maser leave it alone. It was only a question not an insult directed to you.
Give me a break. We are all frustrated with this company.
No maser I am not kidding.
Is removing the CTO in Canada the next step after getting back on the OTC? Or is that already included in this OTC effort?
When SLTA starts trading on OTC again what will it cost to buy 100k shares? $1,000?
Do you have a telephone number or email address you can share for Fowler?
ZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzHooooooooo. Someone wake me up when someone in the company decides to finish one thing they told us they would do.
These financials should not be taking this long to complete. The Soltera leadership if you want to even call it this is displaying ongoing cruel and unusual punishment to probably the loyalist shareholders in the world. Go suck an egg BOD!!
I just hope once the filings are up to date, we are not still sitting on dead stock for another year before news is released that will motivate new buyers to come in.
Maybe ShawnJon and his group have some ideas on how to make this happen?
Soltera at minimum needs to at least to lay out a plan with a timeline that includes when additional funds will be infused.
I totally agree. Once the financials are up to date the stock still won't trade without news of at least a plan going forward plus another injection of funding to make the plan seem it has legs.
If GL is still tied up in other major projects which has eaten up their other project funds we won't see anything happen for a year or two unless Fabio finds other funding an d we know how that went last time. The so called Swiss were just a figment of Fabios imagination.
I'm just going to put my slta stock on the shelf and hope it won't turn rancid.
Great article. Thank you
Thank you and enjoy your day also. We earned it. I am proud to be a member of the U.S. Military retiree community and very proud of our current active duty deployed forces.
I wish they would hold a shareholders meeting, so we can ask our questions. Although, we will need an interpreter. Or just add some details to the 8K.
Check out this video on the 2014 Spyder RT.
Its called the groundhog effect.
This board might as well shut down for a while. I don't expect anything until 2015, but we could get some kind of a surprise before then.
Ho hum. Another week of nothing. I'm afraid if Fabio does not raise his head out of .....The ground on Monday. We will be waiting another six weeks for news.
Ho hum, another week of waiting for something to happen either really positive or really negative. So far I think the positive comments are winning over the negative, but what difference does it make since we have no idea what the heeeeeeck Fabio is doing.
Hey Fabio, let me buy you a good malbec and we can catchup on the latest and greatest.
No offense, but why don't you put your money where your mouth is?
I wonder if Fabio would at least share his Outlook calendar with us or throw us any bone this week. Bark, Bark.
Why after seven years is the ability to mine the property an issue? Did the owner change his mind or does fabio not have the cash to pay him?
Can anyone recommend a bridge or tall building I can jump off of?
I would luv to pick up more, assuming there is nothing being pushed under the rug, but if I got to sit on what I got for another year, what is the rush
I stand corrected. I wonder if Fabio responded to ShawnJon's email?
Dj981,
I been seeing the same thing since the the 8k came out. The good news is gold is not yet back to $1800 per ounce while we are spinning our wheels. The filing completion is the immediate key step. At least Soltera could do right now is provide a class on how to have patience.
The good news is there is still 2 weeks left in July, so I assume we can still hear something this month. I'd like to think once we get over this hump and Soltera is a real company with experienced CEO CFO, etc., etc. these types of basic processes like filings and money transfers will flow smoothly. So I have hope the 8k will become reality .
Not me. I picked up 17 000 shares at .15, I wish someone would pick up the rest.
I don,t understand the MM concept. I always thought it was same as daytraders. But I must be wrong. All I do know is my trading account puts soltera at the bid when there is no volume.
So, why no news this week? So where is the money, sitting on someone's desk like the financial reports? Gee Louise, give me a break!!
If this stock can move up 25% on 100 share volume, imagine what it can do on a million shares once the gates are opened.
Touché ShawnJon. No matter what we conjecture and with that said, nothing is happening and probably won't until they all sit down and make some decisions. I am guessing we will be waiting at least a month to hear something. There is some underlying problem, it shouldn't take two years to do financials when you have the money to pay for it. What I wonder is Fabio has met with GoldLake several times over the past couple of years. You would think they had everything worked out. You would think if GoldLake assigned board members to represent them, they were into this solidly. You would think if Goldlake did not want to fund the project for whatever reason, they would not have a problem with the Swiss. I would think someone could tell us at a minimum what the hold up is with the Swiss funds. So many questions, and no answers. I just hope this doesn't turn into a stalemate. This whole situation is driving me crazy!!!!
Maybe I am wrong in thinking it should be like the movies where the guy puts the money in a briefcase then handcuffs it to his wrist, gets on a plane, flys across the world, walks into Fabio's office, pops open the briefcase, shoves it over to Fabio's side of the desk and says,"here you go Fabio, now lets make this 8K a reality." Then the next scene is the drill is working and newspaper articles flash across the screen with headlines like, Soltera now on NASDAQ, Soltera confirms previous tests, and two new mines are added to Soltera's portfolio." Then the next scene Fabio is sitting in a big fat leather chair smoking a big cigar with a $3,000 Armani suit on. you remember movies like that don't you?
Or am I wrong in thinking the money should fly over a secure internet connection to that Caribbean bank like in a Grisham novel?
I hope your right, but darn it, why does it take so long to get there?
ShawnJon, I could not agree more with you. If the momentum begun with the 8K had continued without a hitch meaning, filings completed, funding on time, restart exploration and drilling, commission 43-101, buy property, add new prospects to the company, move to NASDAQ, drill, drill and more drilling, I could see $5 share in 18 months, but what do we have now? same old same old, promises with no follow through. Totally disgusting.
I commend Fabio for finding another funding stream. But what is going on now? Why did GoldLake push Fabio around and make him, in IMHO, beg for the funds and still blow him off? IMHO GoldLake must be the stumbling block. But then again, what power do they have over Fabio now that he found another funding source? Isn't he the controlling shareholder? Why is this new funding source repeating the same thing GoldLake did with their failure to provide funds? Again is GoldLake the reason? Is GoldLake acting out with a sour grapes attitude?
We shareholders are all in this together and we deserve to know what is happening! This isn't a professional corporation, its more like a bunch children running a lemonade stand and one of the kids is holding onto the lemonade until the others play the way he wants them to play. This has to stop and it has to stop now.
Maseraticoupe, you need to RTFD. ShawnJon is relaying our frustration with Soltera treating its shareholders like dirt bags and fools when we have been supporting them for six-seven years and hopefully Fabio is also reading this. Think about it. They put out an 8K with very specific actions on specific dates to the day mind you and then totally disregard those dates by not releasing news the action actually happened nor even why and when it will still happen. Now we are 4 days away from when another news release could be made about more funding and I won't hold my breath for that either. This is insulting to me as a shareholder and makes me wonder about who is running the company. At this point, doesn't Soltera have at least an ethical responsibility to tell us if the money is delayed for a good reason, and the filings are being held up because of?. Doesn't it seem logical that if Soltera continues to act like this something similar to what happened to Barrick Gold could happen to Soltera? How much more of this total disregard for our support for all these years can we take?
If you have facts to go along with why you have no problem with the way Soltera is treating us or why they are doing such a great job, I sure would like to see them.
And I will ask again, ShawnJon please keep up the pressure.
Mr. ShawnJon,
I agree with everything you wrote and the longer this drags on I worry if this gold mine even exists.
However, in my opinion and I know everyone will disagree, I am thinking the groups or corporations who are or were going to fund this venture are thinking about the current price of gold. They want to make as much money as possible and $1200 an ounce don't cut it to where the price is suppose to be. Even though, Soltera may or might be profitable as this price, the current price of gold leaves NO SENSE OF URGENCY with these venture capitalist and GoldLake. I think they are saying, "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah we will get you the money, but what's the hurry, as long as everyone is printing endless amounts of money and no one is worried about having a safe haven or gold is being manipulated so Russia and China can stockpile, we are not interested in selling it at these prices."
I would like to think in a few weeks we will here something. Right now, this current situation is making me nervous, but I am not ready to throw in the towl. I still want to believe Soltera is the real thing. Anyway ShawnJon, thanks for the posting and keep the pressure up.
Soltera mgmt has me totally lost. They come out with an unbelievably exciting 8K, then miss the first date for announcing money is received and quickly coming up on apr 30 th when another $ allocation is to occur. My hope was they would get the news out the financials are done, then funding news . Now I have no idea how this will play out. Financials, money, whatever, let's get going! At this rate they won't start drilling I'm guessing until 2015.
Do you think Goldlake is responsible for the filing holdup or have things not been worked out with the new company who maybe expected to make the final payment to the people writing the reports? Please tell me if you think this is a stupid comment.
Right on, bro, but why stop at just $5?
Somewhat interesting read while we wait for Soltera News:
Gold, Silver And The Mining Sector: Prepare For A Severe Fall
http://seekingalpha.com/article/2147933-gold-silver-and-the-mining-sector-prepare-for-a-severe-fall
Conclusion
Among the many factors that we can point to as being influential for precious metals, the following are just a few;
Mints around the world occasionally run out of coins and bars, and are unable to meet demand.
China and India remain huge purchasers of physical gold.
Iraq bought 36 metric tons of gold last month, valued at about $1.56 billion, one of the largest purchases by a country in the last three years.
The printing and debasement of paper currencies by a number of nations continues unabated.
The supply of gold to the market is said to be dwindling.
The situation in Ukraine would appear to be getting worse, despite the efforts of our political leaders and their negotiators, increasing geo-political tensions and fear.
As logical and sensible as these arguments are, the fact remains that gold and silver are not heading to the moon just yet.
There could be one or a combination of reasons for this lack of progress, but the two that get our attention are the lack of a final capitulation in gold and silver prices and the reduction of QE via the Fed's tapering program.
Gold's progress was characterized by a sudden steepening of the curve, leading to a final blow-off when the price had gotten ahead of itself. We now need to see a similar occurrence take place during a sell-off. However, this sell-off, as torrid as it has been, lacks that final spike down which occurs when even the most ardent bulls have had a guts-full and finally throw the towel in.
Gold and silver's inability to sustain a decent rally suggests that it could re-visit and test its old June lows. Should this support fail to hold, we could then experience a rather disorderly sell-off, taking gold back to the $1000/oz level.
The "sell in May and go away" strategy may be adopted in the coming weeks, which may add additional selling pressure to the mining stocks.
Also take note of the Federal Reserve Meeting planned for April 29/30th for any changes to monetary policy regarding tapering/QE/Rate changes, etc.
Finally, we need to see more in the way of all-round strength in this sector before we can implement an aggressive acquisitions strategy, and so, we have the lion's share of our portfolio in cash.
Got a comment, fire it in, the more opinions that we have, the more we share, the more enlightened we become, and hopefully our "well-informed" trades will generate some decent profits.
From the small team here, we wish you and yours a very Happy Easter.
3 Reasons to Consider Buying Gold on Recent Weakness
http://wallstcheatsheet.com/business/3-reasons-to-consider-buying-gold-on-recent-weakness.html/?ref=YF
Why the selling after good news on the 18th?
This stock is so not going anywhere. The only people buying this stock are in total denial. They have not reached step 5.
Maybe someone could go by there and see if place looks completely vacated.
