Wise, I almost didn't post that PR, but in all fairness, I had to. They have been pumping this "acquisition" and now it looks like it's only 40% of a couple of the franchises.
Now, the PPS is taking a hit.
Oh well........I guess I can't expect more in the Pennies.

revelation!..a true personal experience..........
The other day I was trimming off the legs of my favorite shorts.
To simplify my job, I folded them over and cut four layers of material at once.
I cut too much! I also cut off the crotch.
All of a sudden, I had a mini-skirt!...
What to do? These are/were my favorite shorts. I like the feel of the material. I liked the way they fit and felt.
After all, there were/are my favorite shorts...I owe them something!
I put them on!
AMAZING!
I've heard that tight fitting jeans can hamper male sexuality.
I've heard that heat can hamper male sexuality.
I'VE SOLVED BOTH THOSE PROBLEMS!
Now, the shorts,(I won't call them anything else!), don't feel much different than they did and I have an added coolness that I didn't have before.(almost to a fault)
And freedom?........hah! Being a swinging male has neve been better!
But, there are two problems;
First, how to explain this to another man.
Second, the reaction of guests who come to visit.
The first problem is solved because I don't dare try to explain it.
The second problem is semi-solved because when I hear a knock on the door I pull them lower.
Life is good!
Marie!, welcome to the board. There are quite a few good people here and always a lot of good investing information.
You're welcome to contribute.
re IBCS...........
After a nice little run for a double last month, the PPS is now falling back off.
At .016 it could be headed to a support level at .012-.014.
It's worth watching for another bounce.
re CBQI.............
For the past 10 days the PPS has been creeping up from .025 to close today up 20% at .037.
The chart doesn't show that it's ready to do a major bounce, but it doesn't show it getting weaker either.
The increase in the PPS seems to have started just after the last PR..........

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25, 2003 12:57 PM
VERNON, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jun 25, 2003 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) -- Aquatic Cellulose International Corp. (OTCBB:AQCI - News) announces a signed Memorandum of Understanding with Gary Ackles and Legacy Systems Corporation detailing their intentions to merge Aquatic with Legacy. The public company would thereby acquire the world-wide exploration rights to sell, lease or license Legacy's TIGER-LYNK(TM) robotic equipment series of manipulators and complete manipulator vessel packages, formerly known as the ATH technology.
This merger would be in-line with the renewed corporate direction referred to in previous filings and announcements and is intended to re-focus the company on sales of Legacy's TIGER-LYNK(TM) technology with selective project participation at the companies discretion. Originally the company had license only to use the technology and only in the underwater forest sector. Now, corporate opportunity for growth is greatly expanded in revenue opportunities from all commercial water bourn operations including, oil and gas, marine construction, dredge and mining, harbors and waterways remediation, hydro dam construction and maintenance, major offshore salvage, unexploded bombs and other major military applications and includes the vast opportunity in underwater forests.
Westgarde, CEO of Aquatic Cellulose International Corp., stated, "These rights take advantage of the extensive design, engineering and construction that has now resulted in the complete TIGER-LYNK(TM) robotic equipment series. The keystone of the technology, the underwater robotic manipulator, comes in two sizes and is supported by a surface robotic manipulator system and a unique custom designed vessel. Having exclusive rights to sell, lease and license these systems in whole or as separate systems should provide the company with diverse revenues from multiple sectors."
Westgarde further stated "The memorandum we have signed basically details the "look and feel" of the resulting company, as well as specific agreements pertaining to technology rights, royalties and an optional buy-out clause, whereby the company has the option to purchase the technology outright from Mr. Ackles for a value scaled according to current sales at the time of transaction. In the past, memorandums we have signed have been hampered by the ability and commitment of other parties to fulfill their stated objectives, however in this case, both parties have demonstrated a clear commitment to the future of the corporation".
"The TIGER-LYNK(TM) robots have the potential to become one of the most valuable tools to the industrial marine industry, hence we are working diligently to fulfill the requirements setout in the Memorandum of Understanding to fully merge these companies before the end of the year," stated Westgarde. This press release contains statements that constitute forward-looking statements, as defined in the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. Forward-looking statements inherently involve risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from the forward-looking statements. Factors that may cause or contribute to such differences include, among other things, the Company's dependence on one customer, seasonality of the Company's retrieval business and risk of future losses from operations. Other risks and uncertainties include changes in business conditions and the economy in general, changes in governmental regulations, unforeseen litigation and other risk factors identified. The Company undertakes no obligation to update these forward-looking statements for revisions or changes after the date of this press release.

XKEM news.........
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., Feb 3, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Xechem International (OTC BB: XKEM) today announced that it has applied for Orphan Drug status for MYODUR(TM).
Developed by Ceptor, a wholly owned subsidiary of Xechem, MYODUR, Ceptor's lead product, has successfully demonstrated, in animal trials, safety and efficacy in Muscular Dystrophy. MYODUR includes carnitine, a membrane transport carrier molecule that targets skeletal muscle, and its passenger molecule, leupeptin, a known calpain inhibitor. Calpain is the primary protease that degrades skeletal muscle. Because calpain is up regulated in muscular dystrophy, the Company believes the inhibiting effect of leupeptin along with the efficient targeting effect of carnitine makes MYODUR an ideal candidate for this orphan disease.
The Company estimates that muscular dystrophy represents a $1 billion+ market opportunity. Ceptor has previously received Orphan Drug Status from the FDA for the use of leupeptin, as a therapeutic treatment for nerve injuries. Because both carnatine and leupeptin are known compounds to the FDA, and because much larger doses of leupeptin alone have been studied in humans, Xechem believes this is not a high risk development program.
Under the Orphan Drug Act, companies that develop drugs that meet Orphan Drug status have certain benefits that are not available otherwise, including:
-- Market Exclusivity - Government legislation protects and rewards companies for the development of orphan drugs by providing for seven years of market exclusivity in the U.S. and 10 years in the EU, creating a competition free environment with that technology. -- Regulatory - Also, because of the Orphan Drug Legislation, the regulatory challenges for product approval may be less daunting. This means fewer total patient exposures, possibly, a fewer number of clinical trials and acceptance of surrogate markers along with clinical outcomes. Also, the FDA is mandated to review an orphan drug approval application (NDA or BLA) in six months (fast track), instead of a year or two. To be adept at thoroughly understanding the orphan legislation and designing clinical trials for orphan drugs provides efficiencies across many different diseases.
Dr. Alfred Stracher, Distinguished Professor and Chairman of Biochemistry at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and head of Ceptor commented, 'We are pleased that our expectations that we would be filing for Orphan Drug Status for MYODUR in 2004 have been met so early in the year. Ceptor's platform technology allows specific membrane transporters and their molecular passengers, at very low doses, to be deposited specifically and effectively within skeletal and cardiac muscle cells in the case of MYODUR. Due to a genetic defect, muscular dystrophy patients produce insufficient dystrophin, which normally provides skeletal cell membrane integrity. With the lack of this cell membrane integrity, calcium ions seep into the cells and up regulate calpain, leading to the degradation of muscle. Ceptor is working on other cell targeting molecules that appear to be equally as efficacious. We are pleased that Xechem has taken the key first steps to commercializing our technology and expect that our association as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xechem will result in the rapid development of our basic technology.'
William Pursley, Vice-Chairman and President of Xechem, noted, 'This is just the first of many benefits that we expect will accrue from our acquisition of Ceptor. Muscular dystrophy patients suffer from an over abundance of calpain and this devastating disease usually ends in death in adolescence. The Company believes that these patients can be managed definitively with the proper, targeted inhibition of calpain using MYODUR.'
Mr. Pursley concluded, 'Unfortunately, many deadly diseases, taken individually, impact a relatively small number of people and, therefore, are not given the research attention that they deserve. Xechem's focus is centered on implementing an orphan disease strategy that can efficiently develop and commercialize drugs that can address both the patients suffering from these diseases and establish Xechem as a leader in this marketplace. Applying for orphan drug status for MYODUR is another step in achieving these goals.'
Xechem International, Inc. is a fully integrated biopharmaceutical company focusing on proprietary technologies for orphan diseases. Its mission is to increase the quality and quantity of life of the people who suffer from these diseases.
This news release contains certain forward-looking statements within the meaning of Section 27A of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and Section 21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, which are intended to be covered by safe harbors created hereby. Such forward-looking statements involve known and unknown risks, uncertainties, including the ability of the Companies to successfully develop and commercialize their technologies, and other factors that may cause the actual results, performance or achievements of the Companies to be materially different from any future results, performance or achievements of the Companies expressed or implied by such forward-looking statements.

USXP news..here we go again?...
February 3, 2004
WASHINGTON, Feb 03, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via Comtex/ --
Members of U.S. Congress and aviation security officials will soon hear about a unique plan to eliminate time-consuming and cumbersome baggage searches at airports by separating passenger baggage from domestic flights.
Richard Altomare, CEO of Florida-based Universal Express, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: USXP) which comprises subsidiaries Luggage Express, Virtual Bellhop and Bags-to-Go luggage handling services, will present his plan to encourage travelers to ship their bags prior to departure in the same way that five billion parcels are shipped yearly by businesses and consumers.
Altomare has hired a lobbying firm on Capitol Hill to make sure all key Members of Congress and aviation and homeland security sources in Washington, D.C. have an opportunity to review his proposal, which he believes significantly reduces the prospect of infiltration of terrorist devices on board planes. A White Paper on this issue is available at http://www.usxp.com/companies/usxp/reports/WhitePapercond.pdf .
According to Altomare, the luggage service would pick up bags from your home or business and transport them to your final destination, employing the U.S. Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Luggage Express already performs such services. 'It insures all shipments and, in the 10 years it has been in business, the service has a 100% baggage success rate,'said Altomare.
'My proposal now circulating on Capitol Hill would give passengers choices whereby it would be less expensive and easier to ship bags ahead than carrying them,'said Altamare. 'Such a luggage system would result in reasonable luggage shipping prices all Americans could afford, while increasing security. It would aid the Transportation Security Agency and expedite the movements of passengers and luggage handling in airport terminals and lower ticket prices.'

Microsoft VM is the java program that comes with all Windows Operating Systems.
A few months ago Microsoft lost a court battle with Sun for the right to use Java.
Now, VM is no longer supported by Microsoft and they offer no patches for it..........ergo, it doesn't work as well as Sun java.
You might do well to uninstall anything you have related to Microsoft VM, but there is one caution..
I've found that Sun Java seems to be very susceptible to virus attacks. I just had to uninstall and reinstall it because of that.(my anti-virus program doesn't work on java, but it did find the bugs).
If you find that you start to have problems, do a virus scan.

re ARES...Today I received another card in the mail from the company.
When they did this a coupld of weeks ago the PPS moved up for a nice increase.
Now, it has fallen back to .008
I have a feeling the card was meant to get me to call about the EagleRider acquisition and to renew the offer to sell restricted shares at a 50% discount.
The acquisition should be closing any day now and should pump badly needed revenue into the company.

RVIA is taking a hit today too..After a nice double, down about 38% at .10.
This too could be profit taking, but I would bet not.
HYVR is taking a hit today..Down about 20% so far at .09X.10.
It looks like profit taking, but that remains to be seen.
If there is some substance to the recent upward move, it will start up again.

re HYVR............
I noticed today that the Volume Accumulation has fallen off.
It opened at .115, spiked to .14, then fell back to .115 for no change.
This nice little run of about 200% may have peaked.
At .10 it looks like RVIA has bounced early and could easily run to .18 or .20.........
Linchuck, also, have you noticed......
Just a couple of months ago it seemed that on Monday's the Pennys always took a beating.
I sure hope this is a permanent change...
Plus, I'm hearing a lot of positive feelings about the market overall.
The Trend followers say that years that end in 5 have always been up. Could we be building up for that?
AWWWW, After a three-year drought, things may become fun again!
Linchuck, yeah, re HYVR. I was in at .035 and am out now.
Naturally, I'm biting my fingernails. Probably got out too early....(so, what's new?...:)
Also, ARES, which I've been holding for months, has just about doubled in the past week or so. (.015), and it seems to be building support at this price.
PGHI up 12% with tight spread. .056X.0565.eom
HYVR now at .12..eom
HYVR at .10 and still going..eom
Wise, what?..did you develop a gottcha-sucker mean streak?
(just kidding)
FWIW. I still have my Win98 SE CD...but I have to give this XP a chance...
The way things are going, in a few years, these conversations will be meaningless.....:)
Arctec, something to think about, eh?eom
Gotta oneup Linchuck...from CNN....
{b]LUBBOCK, Texas (Reuters) -- The oldest bank robber in the United States, 92-year-old J.L. Hunter Rountree, was sentenced to over 12 years in prison Friday after he pleaded guilty to robbing $1,999 from a Texas bank last August.
Rountree, who goes by the nickname "Red", said he robbed his first bank when he was about 80 because he wanted revenge against banks for sending him into a financial crisis.
Rountree was sentenced to 151 months in a federal prison, which he will serve at the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
He appeared in court in a loose-fitting prison outfit and shackles on his ankles. He had a cane to help him walk. Rountree listened to the proceedings through headphones because he is hard of hearing.
Police said Rountree, who was not armed, handed two envelopes to a teller at a bank in Abilene, Texas. One envelope had the word "robbery" written in red ink. Rountree told the teller to stuff money into the other envelope, or else she would get hurt.
After asking Rountree twice if he was kidding, she put the money into the envelope and Rountree then made off in a 1996 Buick sedan, police said.
A bank employee noted the license plate of the vehicle and Rountree was pulled over by police on a highway about 20 miles (32 km) from the crime scene, 30 minutes after the robbery.
Rountree left a prison in Florida, where he was the oldest prisoner in the state, about a year and a half ago after serving a three-year sentence imposed on him for a 1999 bank robbery in Pensacola.
He was caught holding up a bank in Biloxi, Mississippi, in 1998 when he was 87, and given three years' probation.
Federal officials said they had no records to prove it, but they are fairly certain Rountree was the oldest person ever to rob a bank in the United States.
In a prison interview with the Orlando Sentinel in 2001, Rountree said he had been a businessman in Texas but had fallen on hard times. He also told the paper that prison food was better than what was served at some nursing homes.
"A Corpus Christi (Texas) bank that I'd done business with had forced me into bankruptcy. I have never liked banks since," he told the paper. "I decided I would get even. And I have."
