PharmaCyte Biotech Closer to Submitting IND by Successfully Completing Encapsulation of Second Manufacturing Run of Clinical Trial Product
Yes, there is protection with "patent pending"
I have two patents and this process takes a long time to get them issued. The first move by the patent office in most cases is to deny the claim. Just a bullshit move to cause added expense to the applicant requiring an "office action"
An interesting side note I learned along the way...
There are hundreds and thousands of US government agencies out there. There is only one that turns a profit.
The Office of Patents and Trademarks.
I say you take a peek into this womans

Shareholders meeting
Sept 11
"We believe we're on the brink of a new dawn for the company"
Those shares...
A few years ago, I called my broker (TD Ameritrade) to see about cleaning up some dead shares, where there was no bid, to take the loss against some gains. The guy had no trouble liquidating the requested losers.
The next day I peeped at my positions to see how it all looked and saw he had also added those free shares to my PMCB position without even being asked.
A real non-event.
I am soooo sooooo with you But for my entire investment years, it has been uncanny how smart, greedy, timely, and correct the MARKET has been. Always.
So why if this works would there not be, at least more speculation, if not major anticipation with associated PPS increase beginning with insider leaks.
Should this pan out, wow. Just wow.
In this world of corruption at every level, of course it's a no-brainer to watch the volume here.
But at these levels and at this time, the temptation to add is just too much.
So I'm going to go ahead and top off my position here and wait patiently with RC and others.
I'm a gambler.
One of the purposes of obtaining a patent is for protection.
Protection begins as soon as you file an application.
The patent is now "pending" and the applicant can now get on with it.
March of '07
Not particularly proud of the time spent but...
here we are.
I notice that over the years, some kind of update occurs in conjunction with peak investor grumbling.
PharmaCyte Biotech Engages cGMP Validation to Assist in Preparation of IND for Pancreatic Cancer Trial
Today 9:20 AM ET (Business Wire)
I'd like mixer to show up to the after party. This guy has amazing work ethic and will likely do better than most here.
I have maintained that since I can't change the game, I should endeavor to learn the game and play the game well. Mr Mix is quite the player.
Bravo
I'd say the opposite of dilution is more like a buyback. But even that needs to be looked at thought the eyes of the auditor.
Authorized shares is just authorized shares; a number to be found in the public offering regarding the maximum number of shares which can eventually be sold into the float by the company.
Changing the authorized number makes very little difference until additional shares are sold into the float increasing the number of shares issued. That would be dilution.
Possibly unloading his long position, bought patiently, all the way down and now in the historic reversal range.
I've been here a long time and have enjoyed the view of this version of the game, in this type of "security" (and I use the term loosely), in what appears to be a successful execution of a trading strategy by a master.
These days, ethics are for chumps. Brilliant.

In today...
Dear Mr. ~~~~~~~,
Dr. Abecassis forwarded your email to him below for a response from Investor Relations.
We are unaware of any shareholder emails that have gone unanswered. Moreover, we have never received an email from you.
Although we had planned to have quarterly updates, we found it is more efficient to publish the updates through press releases and interviews. Any update would amount to nothing more than a regurgitation of the information already in the public domain . Please see our May 30, 2018 press release which addresses this subject.
We plan to have a shareholder meeting later this year.
Kindest regards,
Investor Relations

Yeah Ray, Looking forward to the actual party we planned so many times in the years gone by.
I'm hanging in there with a nice paper profit already but going to stick with my earlier plan to recoup my expenses at the IND pop and then give it back to them at the buyout.
Patience.
If this is on track to something significant, this is no time to get in a hurry.
Hoping...
the company shares my values of thoroughness, comprehensiveness, and
attention to detail.
the company takes enough care to surprise the FDA with more than they expect to approve the IND application.
does not feel rushed on any level to submit the application.
They have come too far to screw this up now.
This banter here is interesting but at the end of the day only shows that you guys don't have enough to do.
I've been here with no real expectations and longer than most. Maybe longer than anybody, a title I'm not particularly proud of. Good to know I'm still accompanied by some long-timers like Ronny, Susan, Fred, Jim, Michelle, Snap, and others like me, just hanging around experiencing an unusual transformation from the silly days of Efood.
David
Forgot I still had a position here. I've seen this thing through a few different attempts.
So what's the new buzz?

I've stated my plan. Sticking to it. Win, lose, or draw. Sleeping just fine.
I have.
Not completely proud of it. Oh the other opportunities having come and gone.
TTID
That all sounds perfect. However, if there is any delay at all, like to cross a T that they (FDA) wants crossed, the disappointment will cause a sudden knee jerk spike to the downside and a buying opportunity for me.
The flip side (or after the problem is fixed) is that there will be a nice pop following the next positive announcement regardless of how un-newsworthy the announcement actually is. Case in point is the last announcement of PRE-IND which is nice but not really substantive news.
Incidentally, what ever happened to the quarterly conference calls?
Looks like we're getting the band back together.
lol, right?
slap it!!
About time for my old buddy Lottotix to show up
speaking about the FDA...
I think he said slow the accumulation of fluid, prolonging the intervals between drainings
And I liked the realization that failure is not an option. Regardless of how many delays, everything has got to be right, the trials MUST go perfectly. No second chances.
I conduct my affairs in much the same way. I'm in till the end.
Kept saying plan to release 10K tomorrow
Did also plan to have quarterly shareholder calls
I see this as a strategically timed release of new information for the purpose of PPS appreciation. There is an assortment of advantageous reasons for a bump in the price of the stock right now.
Having nothing new to add makes absolutely no sense for this shareholder update. Something is about to happen.
The day is young.
Pass the pipe then. I'll take a hit.
See you at the finish line
Should this schedule hold, and I have every reason to think it will, my patience will finally get the reward it deserves. Although I have been here for much longer, I only count the years starting with Ryan where this mess I got in took a positive turn. Now, I'm an amazingly lucky person but this goes way beyond luck. Ask me to tell the story, the whole story, at the party.
And the real payoff is for those who will benefit by this remarkable new technology. It may well end up being me.
I thought perhaps to sell enough to recoup double my cost and let the rest ride for the inevitable buyout. I would then likely sell out at the offer. I don't think I would want to sit with the buyer.
That ought to be enough to party on while I marvel at my good fortune and the good fortune of those who stand to benefit by this breakthrough technology.
I've started to concern myself with a similar strategy. I am having a hard time however, deciding on just what fraction to liquidate. Care to share yours?
Been so long I can't even remember why I thought this was a good gamble. It was Larry's newsletter touting some kind of idea regarding food. I usually just let dogs (losers) lie as I did this one. Might as well let it ride. Several transformations and symbol changes later, here I still am. I remember Sue, outtrader, farmer, many others. I hope all my buddies from so long ago are still here waiting for the life-changing payoff, not just for me but those who now and later that will benefit from this new technology.
Yes, and you shorts try not to forget that if long, it can only fall as far as zero. If short, SKY'S THE LIMIT for your loss.
Definitely better volume but hardly worth pointing out. When this hits we'll see 10's, possibly 100's of millions traded.
There are a lot of eyeballs carefully watching PMCB.
Actually it is something to jump up and down about.
It's all about percentages.
David
Actually, as I learned very early in my investing (gambling) days, it is a tremendous sign of value when a public company in its infancy, struggling, growing and spending money, with zero income is still trading at anything above zero, let alone at a dime or more.
What an awesome vote of confidence from the MARKET!
