Physical Silver! http://www.kitco.com/market/
Regards
Hi Opt ... I'm still long MBG as I suspect this is an oversell scenario so patience is the key. MSC has stalled so I exited, EDN also. I've started to buy back into LOOK today, just small regular positions for the medium term. I like MOS for another run at 23 and SPL for the long term also.
Basically the market should turn the next day or two and IF IT DOES it'll run well.
Regards
Ollie - I see you like the big stocks! LOL. Nope ... OTT too small for trading IMO ... but thanks anyway. Lately I've been kind of quiet as this market suffers ... not worth trying to make a trade ... I'm long SPL, CCE, TEL, PXS, SBP and taken a scalp on MOS awaiting re-entry. To me the first two especially, look good for a move soon, if I've picked their cycles right. SPL is one of those stocks - and I'm stashing a few away here and there awaiting the big move. And of course my old favourite!
Regards
Hi Ollie .. money flow has never been of interest for me - but I was certain I saw a bearish wedge for LOOK last three days ... one that had an initial target at $2.14 and may extend to $2.25 odd (200EMA from memory). If you look at a Dow chart you'll notice a big support line at 10k ... I'm picking a rally here soon ... obviously if it doesn't rally !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Essentially Bush and the (US economy)needs a rally and the market needs the economy to rally also -smoke and mirrors as usual. I'm still watching LOOK for either the double bottom or the washout to $1.50 ... but in the mean time I notice a large number of Oz oil and Resource stocks are oversold.
Regards
Hi Ollie ... you're right IMO - the first rally is normally a reaction rally (target 224 + ???) to the initial oversold dump which appears to be happening as I type (and didn't quite reach my $1.77 - 79 target for an entry), then it should dump back to around $1.47. Obviously the exact numbers vary depending on the final situation and the market ... the one to watch - IMO - is YHOO ... it seems to be the best indicator of direction for the sector ... and boy do you have to react fast when it decides to move! As I recently found out to my expense.
So your $1.50 is a lovely target to have in mind for later, but a turn at $1.82 in a months time or so would confirm a double bottom - itself a very positive situation - I suspect that's the time to be most concerned about being long or not.
http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=yhoo&sid=0&o_symb=yhoo&f...
The key is probably YHOO at $50 as you can see its a very very strong support level on YHOO's chart now ... so watch for their rally back to 54 odd and then take a lead from what happens next, IMO.
Regards
optimist ... thanks ... I made two mistakes - assumed it was going to $3 and failed to have a stop in - both the result of emotion. The AH trading on Thursday should have been the key - something to remember for next time - AH does matter when things are at volume! One cyclical model suggests a touch of 12.5c (LOK) then reversal to about 17 before a further reversal to 11 odd then the big run up. We'll see.
Often such big reversals so quickly spell "impulse" and are the result of stops rather than true sentiment. The jury is out.
Regards
Ollie - take a look at YHOO 3 year chart and you'll see. I got burned last night so out on stops and licking wounds - suspect LOOK bounces to either 2.21 or 2.32 IF 1.87 is the bottom next week.
It all depends on the sector and YHOO etc I'll await a major re-entry in a month or so when things look at their worst - if so.
Regards
Ollie - where did your $2.61 come from ??? - is it the upper point of an upward sloping trading range??? If so I suspect we have the same lines on our charts?
Regards
Agree - I'm planning to trade LOOK quite a few times over the next few days but can't see why $3 is at least attempted.
Regards
ollie .............................................
this is how I'm playing it ... its all related to YHOO and YHOO has to backfill! So I'm suggesting LOK tops Tues in Oz after LOOK hits $2.60 odd US - watch the US signal and decide from there. I'm taking profits and awaiting LOOK recoil for one more play to $3. I'm travelling at the mo so have to try to second guess it. Don't get too greedy here - take half position out if any doubts to lock in some profits.
Regards
optimist - IMO LOK Oz doesn't matter - no gaps with LOOK - tonights the night they follow the market sentiment ... if they PR sometime soon - that'll be a good stop point.
Take a look at PXS 48 or under (medium term), SBP longer term (16 - 16.5 perhaps 17 if it moves - someone appears every now and then and grabs a million - accumulation???) and my old favourite NRT around $6 - $6.40. Holding heaps of MBG for the long term ... just seems a no brainer.
Regards
Ollie - I've been watching the SMA mainly, but on review the EMA's are useful after the larger moves - in particular recently - the first target must be the 200EMA.
I'd suggest $2.17 (EMA200) is the next top ??? News ??? as its 1 cent above the previous top - to confirm the continued rally - that would make the interval $1.60 to $2.17 ... then retrace 50% to $1.88 which will be the EMA100 ... then bounce to SMA200 and through to $2.60 odd.
That would give this cycle a five leg up to the top of the range ... then allows for three leg retrace to wherever - depending on news.
All hypothetical of course - just playing with numbers ... lets see.
Regards
Ollie - LOOK tested the SMA100, I think it takes a day or two to cross it and head for the SMA200 - (trail mental or otherwise stops) and use the SMA100 as your absolute stop. Getting exciting here!
Take a look at SIE (needs to break up soon- otherwise exit!) QRS, CVN(???), MBG, PXS under 50 and SPL around 80 - 84.
Regards
Ollie .. I saw a report saying LOOK Q report April 29, sometimes they move it a few days. I'm long since 10.5 having traded 9-10 a couple times before. I will buy more on any dip and aim to sell at least a half before the Q report, just in case. Regards.
Hi Ollie .. to reach 15c IMO it'll need positive news, let alone what it needs for 19c LOL. Nope - I'm simply playing this that it does fill the gap in the US and may well try to consilidate near resistance too. All their bad news (hopefully) is in ... and there's a sense that they've turned the corner ... so what we have is a share that's three times cash value, they've restructured their costs down, they're expecting to grow revenue, and they MAY surprise to the topside if the MSN "discretionary" revenue is in anyway significant But you guys all know this better than me. I appreciate that with LOOK, once bitten could well be twice shy. I guess I'm unnemotional about them as I've only ever had a couple of bad trades and was out during the falls ... LOOK/LOK seems to be a text book trader so all I see is a chart that wants to go up and a business that will probably surprise to the upside. Timing??? When is the Q'ly earnings report??? Regards
opt - nearly forgot bigcharts for ASX is AU:1803349 Regards
opt ... Re markets ... use bigcharts and $compq for the nas and $indu for dow (write it in your diary LOL)
Re LOK ... I think we bounce to 18 -19c here ... and at least try to fill the gap. It will take alot to get people to believe in LOOK again and there's been muted reaction to what seems to be great FA news of late ... stick a line under the recent RSI on LOOK ... and the Slow Stock is looking good.
NRT ... I'm a believer ... just been fiddling with the holdings otherwise long and strong.
Regards
magician ... for your readers to DD ... an Oz Nano with US connections, patents, indirect US Defence Dept funding, FDA trials (HIV and STD drug), thinly traded as SPHRF in US (also in Germany) or SPL on ASX, and the chart!!!

Regards
Ollie ... If I've got the count right ... this is now the second up leg, or leg three of a five leg cycle. I note that all the stochs started to show positive divergence recently and the volume for LOK on Fri in Oz confirmed it for me so I added at close. This was one example where it would appear Oz lead the US.
I know things feel bad in a fundamental sense ... but what more bad news can there be? I see a huge gap above and a chart that says things are getting more interesting.
http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=look&sid=0&o_symb=look&f...
Stick volume on this and you'll see how the volume is building lately.
The way I trade this is simple ... buy low and when in profit stick a stop on it to lock in profits. I suggest you could do the same if you have any concerns.
Kind regards.
Hmmm MBG ... I still hold ... and will expect to add shortly as things should start to turn up here. The AUD has been an influenece and I expected the upward break from their triangle not the sudden fall with AUD appreciation. I anticipate a return towards if not to 5c as a normal cycle then pull back, reversal probable breakout if their reports prove to be positive. IMO waaaay oversold.
Kind regards.
Accumulating LOK / LOOK starting last 24 hours.
LOOK news and charts less than convincing ... IMO either work with stops here or dump them! Regards
Congrats Satre ... TG ... MBG at .047 is my next pick although I still like EDN. Happy New Year

The chart is interesting here ... watching for a break either way. (Look closely at the 6 month chart)

Hi stockings Ritract appears the simpler one to make as only five parts = hence should be cheaper. Ritract propose outsourcing production (Chineese???) and presumably this will be the cheaper alternative also. I have applied for a few.

optimist ....... easy stuff first .....................
www.bigcharts.com ... plug in $compq or $indu for nas/dow, hui for gold stocks, au:gold for gold physical in Oz$ (a share of the physical but a good cross with the AUD), AU:1803349 for ASX, go to www.kitco.com for gold and any precious metal.
Where from here ... best I not comment, other than it looks like golds about to rally again.
US market manipulated to heck and will likely remain so until elections next year.
Just follow the TA and leave your emotions out of it.
Good luck.
OT Traden ................................................
Nope ... been quietly digesting the last few days (we also have visitors) so haven't been writing much. I see Howards in the poo with this Hanson affair, Turkey is not going into Iraq, US started bombing there again, Bush is loosing the polls. I'm watching charts for the Oz golds ... was thrown a bit by the interest rate hike last week ... it screwed up a few of my charts. NVGN looking very very toppy ... I have to battle my emotions on this one LOL. Building cash reserves and taking stock rather than playing stock.
Kind regards.
Biotech news "Federal Industry Minister, Ian Macfarlane announced, $500 million of new investment in the pharmaceuticals sector will be unlocked through the new Pharmaceuticals Partnerships Program (P3).
The Howard Government will double its direct funding for research and development by the Australian pharmaceuticals sector when the current Pharmaceutical Industry Investment Program (PIIP) is replaced by the P3 scheme from 1st July 2004.
This should go a long way to boosting the BioTech companies especially those looking at listing on the ASX."
KEEP THIS IN MIND FOR THE NEXT 12 MONTHS.
Regards
DRA .. OPM ... got my rights issued shares !!! Waahoooo! They've retraced 50% odd from the last move .. chances are a Momo King like you'll see the next move before a TA'er like me! Normally you'd be watching for it about here.
Monday ... watching CCE, TAM, BUY, SIE, RSN ... missed ABI ... should have got it at 24.5 but too pre-occupied with others. Oh ... have I mentioned EDN ... LOL.

MX re smugs V's Tex "bash" ... is it a jello tub kind of thing? I have no respect for smugs what-so-ever, so I hope Tex drowns him in the stuff ... let me know where and when and I'll come incognito (I trust I can sneak in with Baarbaara inconspicuously! LOL)
Traden ... no worries ... I get an email service that said differently ... so it was my mistake for not checking properly and taking their word for it. I've got thick skin too ... LOL.
Hmmm - LKO, CCE, RTM, ABI ... bet your stochos look OK by these ... having a nice day so what's a little goldfish in the toilet bowl ... other than aiming practice LOL. (C'mon EDN ... pull-up pull-up ... snigger)
Regards
smugs ... I'm allowed to get excited once in a while and make a mistake ... still like the chart here ... thanks for caring too. Regards

Anyone interested in Elliot Waves (other than Traden and myself) ... if so want to discuss CCE vis a vis Elliot count (sorry about my spelling in the last post ... smugs always brings out the worst in me! LOL).
Many kind regards to all the new and constructive members of this board.
smugs ... stop wasting space and b-off, you're living a credibility vacuum that grows every time you dredge up the (currupted) past 99% of people want to forget. You're a black hole sucking more goodwill into it everytime you piss someone else off. IMO, either get with the new attitude of the board or exit.
TG ... Fine, thanks // Tex .. big list GEL "hidden potential" ... I'm struggling to find a GEL ... is this the right code or is it hiding from me LOL. Regards
TG ... I'll go with your decision, (after all it's your game), but I thought it shouldn't neccessarily be open ended only ... perhaps there should be an option to SELL and take a profit if the top looked in sight before end Dec.
Regards
TG ... Comp great idea .. congrats ... rules ... although end Dec rule OK, can the stock entrant also enter a sell date and price (live I guess) if it becomes obvious there is an opportunity to do so.
