I listened to the CEO on the conference call. My impression of him was the following:
-Professional and good natured
-Calm
-He knew his stuff. He answered every question completely and competently.
- Very polite. He thanked every person for their questions.
- Determined but not cocky . . . Confident.
People who conduct themselves in the way I describe above should be praised and supported.
One of the basic rules in being successful at anything is to undersell and over deliver. CS is going to attract real investors and it will keep the riff raff out i.e. the bashers and pumpers who only care about stealing your money and shares and could give two sh**s about the company, their employees and especially the legitimate stock holders.
A good CEO does not make promises because people ask for them or seek to appease people. The buck stops with the CEO and I see this CEO sticking to a business plan, adjusting where needed, but he is keeping his eye on the prize and in my opinion will not be sidetracked. I see him spending money wisely, not on PR that he probably knows will not be needed all that much. I believe this opportunity for all of us is in very good hands and it is time we cheered the CS management and employees on. And please I'm not chastising anyone here because I know you support the company . . but maybe we can all verbalize it more in this forum. They know the history of CSM and they know they have to perform. It makes it a lot easier to perform when you know someone has your back and supports you. It is their success that is of value to us and I for one really appreciate what they are doing. The risk they are taking and the due diligence they are performing is rather obvious. Think about it. Day in a day out they are digging in rocks in very rugged territory. It is hard work, but they keep going and their efforts are reaping rewards that are more than about money. What they are doing is helping in part to save this country financially and that is why the rest for us are here. We see the writing on the wall. We see the never ending debt and printing of money just so the government can pay themselves, the free loaders and their lobbyists. We see our freedoms being taken away from the people pulling the wagon by the people riding in it.
I am praying for CSM to succeed (actually I believe they are succeeding everyday and will succeed for a long time to come), not because I'm worried, but because I want all good people to succeed. For themselves, their families and their community. If they succeed, we all do. Their success is ours. Sports teams have fans and fans can be a big help in a teams success. I have become a fan of LODE. How about the rest of you?
Go LODE. You guys are doing great! Awesome job! Thank you for what you are doing! :)
Doug Casey: Get ready for the junior gold mania
"Central banks all over the world are creating trillions of currency units... And they're going to ignite a really wild bubble in small resource stocks."
Here is the link to the entire article:
http://www.mineweb.com/mineweb/view/mineweb/en/page33?oid=122306&sn=Detail
Doug Casey is a long time Gold investor and pretty much an expert on the subject.
I had a thought. What if government decided to print a bunch more money and tried to buy company's like LOAD, so they would have control of the new metal? I wouldn't put it past them and I hope we would not sell to them.
that is an awesome picture!!
Yes I was thinking it could be a support point i.e. a lot of shares purchased here and this is the bottom for those shares. I would imagine the PPS could come back here to fill bu then would be a buying opp. Thoughts anyone? I am not an expert (as you can tell), trying to learn. Thanks, Dave
Not worried. Just wanted to hear some discussion about it.
Any concern here with the Gap on the chart??
And article from an investment newsletter I receive from Stansbury and Associates (under double lines):
And it looks like LODE has silver!!
=============================================
The world is running out of silver…
That's the message we delivered in the February 24 Digest. We discussed a video from Eric Sprott of Sprott Asset Management. Sprott is a brilliant resource investor. And he's a mega-bull on gold and silver. (Silver is his largest holding.) But he thinks the world is facing a physical silver shortage:
[The] world is out of silver. Sprott says aggregate investment demand for silver between 2000 and 2009 was 293.8 million ounces (according to the GFMS, the world's foremost precious metals consultancy). Using his own numbers, Sprott compiles the silver holdings for seven large investors, including himself, iShares Silver Trust, ZKB, GoldMoney, etc. Just those seven entities own 519.6 million ounces of silver… That's 225.8 million missing ounces. And again… That's only seven investors. It doesn't include central banks, individuals, hedge funds, etc.
It's obvious, as Sprott notes, silver data has been "very, very misstated." Sprott ends his speech saying, "There's $22 billion of silver available in the world, of which the ETFs already own half, and between you guys and us we probably own the other half… which means there's nothing left ."
Today, we got validation of the "world is out of silver" thesis… The premium to hold physical silver (bullion) over paper silver (an ETF) reached an all-time high of 20% today. Think about that for a minute. People are paying 20% (a HUGE sum) for the peace of mind of holding physical silver. Some will dismiss this anomaly as a temporary mispricing. We consider it a warning sign of things to come…
=======================
Go get that silver LODE!! :)
Just to disclose here. My ID on the Yahoo board is pillowsforsoldiers, not that anyone really cares I'm sure!! :)
Good answer. Makes sense. Thanks!
Just curious why it is listed under Plum Mining, not Comstock Mininng?? And there is no mention of this on web site either. Any ideas??
Held at $3.02 today.
There is a gap around $2.34.
Hmmn can I use gold to buy LODE stock? ;)
Yeah that sounds good . . or how about some free physical gold for being so loyal?? :)
So I own 3000 shares and you would discriminate against me? I like the idea but it should be available to all.
Sorry it is Standsberry
an interesting quote from a newsletter I receive called the S&A Digest i.e. Standsbury & Associates dated yesterday.
"I've noticed the gold stocks in my account selling off lately (though today was a pretty good day). I'm willing to bet this is something like a winter vacation for those stocks. They had a huge run in 2010, and many investors probably waited to sell after January 1 so they could defer paying taxes another year. After this selloff ends, I think we'll see another massive run as the world becomes increasingly concerned about the value of the currency in its pockets and bank accounts."
It was on TD Ameritrade also.
Sounds like a company doing their diligence. I had a feeling we would here some news (and this just isn't PR, it is concrete news of a company getting their ducks in a row). I thought there would be news after the new year when people are paying attention and the timing of this seems right to me.
Comments?
I am not trying to push any agenda here (well I would like LODE to take off for sure like the rest of you would), the following link provided is just info for your consumption that I thought was interesting. If it becomes true most likely it will be real good news for LODE and for us longs.
http://www.thedailycrux.com/content/6597/Gold
And Jeff Clark is trying to market a newsletter that I don't subscribe to.
Any comments??
And here is another interesting link. Could we be in the right place at the right time? I think we may just be. Go LODE!! :)

I know this is late but I contacted CS's hosting company and they got right back to me, which I thought was a pretty good sign.
Here is their response:

Sorry I indicated the other day that the site was working. I only went to the home page which was working and just assumed the rest of the site was.
Website is working fine. I think the problem is the link in the write up above that does not include the www in the address.
Go and see for yourself if you want www.comstockmining.com
I think you will after the first of the year when people are paying attention.
Comstock banner Ad on 321gold.com
http://321gold.com/
See if you see the add. I clicked on the link above and saw it immediately. I think it is on a banner ad rotation, so It may take a while to see the CS ad or re-load a couple of times until you do. I saw the Comstock add in the light green background section. I also saw ads for SanGold and zimtu.
Any of you been on the Yahoo board for LODE? Anyone that listens to that board would sell in a heart beat and it looks quite a few did. Extreme4reality (pro LODE and he actually seemed to be a reasonable person to me) who used to post on this board has disappeared it seems on the Yahoo board also. It is just really funny to read some of the stuff they come up with on both sides. That Thunder guy posted here once not too long ago. Seems he is a basher but also fairly reasonable is some of his comments also.
In my opinion, it seems to me it would be way more valuable to issue good PR after the first of the year when way more people are paying attention. No one is really paying attention now because of the holidays. If it were my company and I had good news I would wait until after the holidays. If I had bad news I would do it now when there is far less attention. Most people are out shopping and drinking at party's and the hope of renewal comes in January. Lode is holding it's own between $3 and $4 and is giving us buying opportunities here. I am not expert but it seems to be acting just like any other company approaching the momentum phase of business. Most don't believe in the product yet, but it is coming and the Fed is just about guaranteeing it.
IMO.
Yes this was pumped and dumped for sure, but without the knowledge of the CEO of company, in my opinion. He was trashed to no end back when this stock was P'd and D'd and in my opinion it was unwarranted. I have had contact with him recently. They are still in business and according to him does not know why the stock has cycled up to 10 cents and back to cents lately. He said he is trying to get the stock back on a trading board through FINRA, etc.
Here is an email I received from the CEO recently. I'm sure you must have received it to. Below that email you will see a response from Dr. Cappello to my email inquiry/advice regarding their referral marketing program referred to. I provide it just to show you that I do have personal contact with him and have had so since the stock was manipulated.
By the way you are doing better than me. I have 2200 shares with ave. price of $1.86, even though I have less invested than you do dollar wise. I think they have some quality products and is why I invested in the first place. If they can get them off the ground and get their reputation back, we could have a sleeping giant here. I have some respect for the CEO for enduring a lot of heat and some pretty nasty and unfounded accusations from people on this board that I'm sure came from the shorts. I followed it very closely at the time and was able to disprove most of the accusations. I will admit at times I was swayed in the direction of the bashers. I had direct contact with DR. Cappello during that entire time and he really acted like a stand up guy. Here are the emails:

Subject: EMGE Sept-Oct 2010 Update
Dear Subscriber,
We wish to report the following items to you.
1. Our sales for the nine months of 2010 exceeded
sales of the same period 2009 by about 6% despite
much of our attention still being directed to clearing ourselves
with the SEC, which was completed in July 2010.
2. Our Balance Sheet reached its highest levels since
inception and was above $400,000 in assets for the first time
We have no debt.
3. We remain profitable to this point.
4. We have responded to the first round of FINRA comments
we received September 2, 2010 to resume trading. Our answers were
sent on October 29, 2010. We await a second round of comments and
will continue our efforts to assist shareholders with a better
market for their shares.
5. Vita-Stim has been approved by the Ministry of Health
in Cambodia, and we expect to see sales there and
other S.E. Asia countries increase over time.
6. The Vita-Stim Infomercial continues to run, and it has been
a good test for forward thinking and planning.
7. Our licensor has had its hair growth patent allowed, and
we are reviewing plans.
8. More important, we are exploring a new venture
to network market our Anti-Aging product. The product concept is
displayed here: http://video214.com/play/DzlqImvFout52nubuz4YWA/s/dark
9. It would be a simple Referral Marketing Plan with great potential
as described here: http://video214.com/play/LjY5EJ09IeU51bW4O902cA/s/dark
We continue to believe that press releases will do little until
we have been given electronic trading privileges, as we had
prior to our trading halt. We have chosen this method to keep
all informed.
Here are some Investment quotes:
"We are not a stock that you can sleep well with at night.
We are a volatile stock. At the same time, someone's sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago. We believe, we
are that 'tree'."
We appreciate your ongoing good will and support.
Sincerely,
Emergent Health Corp.

Below is Dr. Cappello's response to my email regarding the proposed referral marketing program. By the way, I also asked him about why the stack was trading between .02 and .010, because I saw this and was going to try and play that spread, but I couldn't buy any shares. I put orders in through TD Ameritrade, but they would never go through.

Subject: Re: EMGE Sept-Oct 2010 Update
Hi Dave,
Nothing you saw is engraved in stone...the one video
is designed to go to a product information link, and I just
did not want to go over too much detail yet. As far as price,
that is just an example. The ideas on all of our breakthroughs
is to make them affordable....and EMGE is not going into
the networking business per se....we are providing product
to a new company with experienced networking people.....
Vita-Stim moves very well in stores for $39.95....it is not
the cheapest product to put together in still low volume runs....
economies of scale will help us....and shareholders do not
want to see us bleed money in the building process.
I have been told by people who have bids in all of the time for stock
at $0.10 to $0.15...and can not pick any up...yet it sometimes
nosedives with no explanation....I even called FINRA and could get
no answers as they said "trading on the grey market is proprietary.
The view I am hearing is many want to average down, but they can
not...who knows what will happen in tax loss selling season!!!!
Thanks for your input. It is always appreciated.
Emergent Health Corp.
John
====================
Hope this helps some. Dave
Yes I believe I was down before and after the split. I was just saying what my cost was when I purchased the stock (ave. .009 cents per share). I purchased my initial 100K at .011 and the other 100K at .007. I think the stock price was around $1.30 after the split. Just going by memory. I recall before the split the price being around .006?? So yes I was down, but I believed!! :) Hopefully for all who held tight this will work out very well. Thanks for the kind words of support. Hope it all works out for you and everyone else too. :)
I started with 200K (purchased since 7/1/2009) shares at .009 ave. (cost $1800) , which after the split was 1000 shares at $1.30 (or around there). So those 1000 shares are now worth $3700 at this point in time (gain of $1900). I have also added 2000 shares since the split and my gain right now if I were to cash out would be $3110. I am not planning on selling these shares and plan to add as time goes on. If and hopefully when the "start negotiations" bid price of $120 per share is on the table, then I will seriously consider selling some shares. :)
Maybe Thunder will disclose his position???
Mr. Thunder comes from the Yahoo board and he seems to love it. He owns the majority of the posts there (bashing LODE) and most of the others, except his fellow bashers, ignore him. Kind of funny he shows up on this board. I hardly ever go to the Yahoo board but have a few times in the last week. I wonder why people like Thunder have this need to bash and to do it over and over and over and over again. Just seems like a total waste of time and effort and I still can't figure out what people like him are accomplishing. Oh yeah, I forgot, they are saving us from ourselves . . . that's it. ;)
Just bought 200 more shares! Keep stock piling . . . pun intended! :)
And what would 10B mean to the stock price?
I hear you and yes to LODE. Go LODE. We need to save the country!
I have another suggestion too. We can hold down inflation if we hold our money and not in the bank. Hold it at home especially coins, pre-1982 pennies (copper is worth 2.65 cents) and any year nickels (I believe metal content in all nickels is worth about 136% of the 5 cents). These are coins not paper money and we will force them to have to make more coins which uses metals which has intrinsic value not just currency. Save your coins. One day you will be glad you have them. I have a whole tall Galliano bottle full of pennies. :) If you have it at home they can't take it from you (well if you hide it well enough) and if you exercise your 2nd amendment right you can protect those coins.
All do respect to you, but I can not disagree with you more, because what you just explained is going to happen, but it will be worse. I mean why are we all bullish on Gold, Silver and LODE? What money did they pay back with? There are no profits! It is just government flim flam as usual to make the people think their government is there to protect them when nothing could be further from the truth. They were all just protecting themselves, hence the massive printing of money. They are paying it back with that funny money that you and are are going to take the sword for . . . well not us . . . we are in LODE!! :)
Wow a basher shows up during a correction?? I wonder why? Pretty cool.
Some really great things said about Mr. Winfield in that article. Thank you for finding it and sharing it My recollection, and I could be mistaken, that there were some not so nice things being said about him on this board a while back. What is the opinion of the people who are doing most of the posting now, because the bashing (or the bashers) have disappeared.
Thank you. Appreciate your response.
I had an idea just never heard the term before.
So could it be people who have shorted the stock trying to get us
to sell? What price do you think they shorted at if that is
the case? I'm not selling. I consider this the long
haul mother lode and I will continue to add shares when I can.
I would urge the "good guys" who hold this stock for the right reasons to stay the course.
Excuse my ignorance but what is ARCA?
Personally I am adding shares on the dips and will continue to do so
for a while.
Thanks to both eom7 and RBKissMYAs for the info. Appreciate it.
How come so quiet here??
I guess that is sarcasm?? :)
Anyway I don't think I would do that, but I only started watching
the Frankfurt Exchange because someone on this board pointed out that LODE was there under the symbol GSPN and I started to notice a pattern that is continuing today. LODE is down today, and GSPN was up today on the Frankfurt Exchange. Just thought it was an interesting observation that others more knowledgeable than I might have an opinion about. Do you have one?
