Now THAT'S funny!
Boyko
So...to you, an increase in the Authorized shares automatically means full dilution to the full amount of the Authorized shares?
Seems to me that would be terribly irresponsible of them and would hurt them more than the little investor. Given that they hold more shares than most of us here.
Boyko
Me too!
Boyko
Part of it is.

For what it's worth, I think the more immediate picture (and therefore the more likely reason for anything negative or positive come Monday morning) is the presentation they will be doing this Sunday at CNS.
If that goes as well as it should (based on their research on MANF), then Monday could easily be one of the most pivotal days for this stock.
But...that's just one mans opinion (mine).
Boyko
There is one interesting ... typo? ....in that. If you read the news release, it states they will be presenting on Nov. 19 (which is a Monday). Looking at the agenda (that you posted) it shows the summit actually adjourns on Sunday.
One has to hope (and it would make sense) they will be presenting on the Sunday when other presentations by pharmaceutical and biotech companies are happening.

Never be disappointed with a profit, regardless of how big (or small). No one ever went broke making a profit.
Be disappointed with management, with market conditions, with the economy in general. But never profit.
Boyko
Which is a comment I still don't really understand.
Fundamentally, for any share to be traded, it HAS to have both a buyer and a seller. So, bottom line, there has to be as many bought as sold. One simply cannot be higher (or lower) than the other.
Regardless of the fact that the count of individual buyers or sellers may be different, people that want to sell are being matched by people that want to buy. Sellers want to make a profit right now, buyers see a different picture.
Boyko
So do I. Still long and strong and hoping (as are most people) for a truly wonderful Christmas.

A little more accurately...the investor was owed $500K from AMBS. The investor was willing to trade that debt for shares. There was no new money invested, so shares not really bought, in that sense.
Don't get me wrong. I think the investor did a great thing both for themselves as well as for AMBS. AMBS no longer has the debt and the investor has (potentially) a fabulous ROI.
Boyko
Given that two of you seemed to have heard about potential news, care to share your source?
Boyko
It's red at this time almost everyday, lately. Then, somehow, it manages to take many people by surprise and end each day on a positively green note (albeit there have been a couple of exceptions).
It's disappointing to see it have to struggle, however, given its hard-to-imagine potential.
Boyko
I'm just wondering out loud here...no dumping on anything.
Isn't a bigger picture of RBCC that it has only traded under 50K shares...and not even $100K? Somehow that doesn't seem like a lot for a company that is (potentially cuz it's not a done deal yet) going to be JV partner with another company that apparently has a lock on something rather amazing?
It just seems like there should be more activity. IMHO. Personally I believe in AMBS and am long and strong. But, DD makes me ask the question.
Boyko
The markets are open on Monday, right?
Boyko
Which was exactly my point. You just said it better.
Boyko
Do you honestly think the Michael J Fox foundation would have given a grant to a 'scam' company? And furthermore, consider giving said 'scam' company additional funds pending further positive-outlook data??
Boyko
I'd be honestly interested in your rationale for that comment. Education is generally a good thing.
Thanks!
Boyko
Followed your low-key info from TAG~ Made out VERY well this morning. In fact, best I have ever done...on any stock.
Kudos to you Sir. I will continue to be very interested in words that flow from your fingertips.
Boyko
I don't know about the significance of 'not even two cents up'. I will say that I understand the significance of another green close.
Boyko
OceanEagle1...if I had the ability I would message you back. But once again, thanks for the insight.
Boyko
THAT brought a smile to my face. Well said.
Boyko
Yep....that I understand. Bottom line, they make money. Like all of us ~want~ to do.
Education is a wonderful thing. Thanks Eagle1 !!
Boyko
Ok...so...based on the fact there was no significant change in pps, that's why you feel it was ~not~ dilution?
That's always been something that has had me baffled. People say they see this or that as a sale or a buy. And then remark accordingly. But for the market to work at all, there must always be an offset of one to the other. I.E. If there is a one million share sale, those same one million shares must be bought (by one buyer or several, it's really immatterial). There simply can't be one without the other.
With that in mind, why the big deal over any singular trade whether it shows as a buy or a sell, when there ~has~ to be an offset?
I ask this as an honest question because I feel like I'm missing a fundamental somewhere. I'm not the active, successful trader I would like to be so any knowledge I can beg, borrow or steal...
Thanks!
Boyko
It's difficult for me to look at any green day as 'boring'. Maybe less exciting than other days, but making a profit of any amount is definitely not boring. At the very least it beats the heck out of a loss.
I know what you're saying, I'm just nit-picking over semantics.

What is also interesting to note is your missing of the fact that on July 14 (one month AFTER that letter) JAG mentions that, at that time, the shares held by Ross were transfered to her.
Which, to me, means that AFTER the letter she took over.
So...the letter was vaild AT THE TIME IT WAS SIGNED. A month later, control changed.
Doesn't appear to be any lying going on by JAG. At least, not to me.
Care to share where you heard that news?
Boyko
Kudos to you Jan. It never ceases to amaze me how comments can come back to haunt a person. It's happened to me more than enough. It's certainly refreshing to see it happen to someone else.
I heard something about CNEX releasing 'numbers' on Feb.2. Don't know if it's share structure, financials, or what. Maybe someone else can confirm something.
I'm not really sure why you would state that new attention is not needed. I'm not trying to provoke anything here, just trying to understand the rationale.
If there were new attention, would that not possibly generate new buyers and new longs willing help get SMPP where it really belongs? Wouldn't that be a good thing??
To heck with the hounds....release the Kraken!
I'm a newbie...I'll admit. I've been a holder of LCRE for more time than I'd like to confirm, but You sound a little....skeptical. Given the performance the past while, I can understand why. But the underlying feeling is also one that you are still hanging on - hoping, like most of us here, that things will actually turn around.
I have to believe you're right. It ~will~ happen. This year. It really would make for a nice, early, Christmas present, don't you think?
