If the RS split is followed up immediately with the vocalization and execution of a strategic plan moving forward, I think the RS could be a good move.
If Black has a plan, the RS gets the share price to a more attractive level for investors, which should help trading. No one likes to buy a stock that is at .0001 unless its a pure gamble. Show a guy a stock that is trading at 0.30-0.60, and the company has PR'd a plan to increase shareholder value, and he might be more inclined to dip his toes in.
We'll just have to wait and see what Black has in store for HNSS and its shareholders. I suspect he's got a plan in the works to increase the per share value of HNSS, and we will hear about it soon. The only caveat that I have on my mind is: Will the investors (us) see our per share value increase as he executes his plan?
Time will tell.
I assume $500 is a mental hurdle to get through. Lots of people that bought at $400 will want to sell at $500 for a 25% gain.
Haven't looked at the tape, but thinking we chew through the shares at 500 and will continue to move up into the new product announcements (hopefully) next month.
Good post. Out of everything possibly going on with HNSS, I think the best news so far is the uplisting to "Current" on the OTC page. Its been years since Black even attempted to fix/update the company's status.
Still not sure if hinting at possible benefits for existing shareholders is a sign of good things to come; or if it is an attempt to assuage current investors from selling their shares as soon as they show up in our accounts (maybe so the company doesn't have to compete with other sellers when trying to raise the "1MM in funding"?).
Either way, I think we'll start hearing about some positive developments very soon.
2500 shares via JAN14 600 calls @ 1.65 each.
Should be a fun ride up.
Long dated options are looking good the past couple days. We'll have to wait and see how AAPL handles itself if there is an overall market correction.
Hopefully pending announcements will continue to draw investors even if there is a broader equities market decline.
My Fidelity account shows my HNSS share count post reverse split.
My Etrade account still shows my HNSS share count, pre-split, with a value of $0.00.
Will probably be another week before all the accounts are settled.
Yep, you are correct.
Also looks like a new Transfer Agent. Good thing, the last one was terrible to deal with.
There is actually a lot of information given in that attorney letter.
For one.. It states that Black has not sold any common stock (presumably in the last 12 months).
And two.. the company is unaware of any officers, directors or control person selling any stock (presumably in the last 12 months).
So how did we get to 2 billion shares OS before the split? Most likely these were shares Black had previously given out that had become unrestricted and sold onto the market. Not by Black, but by other investors.
There's also a line about "the Company is unaware and has no knowledge of the identity of any individual or entity who is currently or in the recent past been promoting the common stock of the Company..".
Don't know exactly what the point of saying that is, other than maybe they are trying to convey the fact that there has been no HNSS-sanctioned pumping of the stock?
Our only legitimate option is to trust in/rely on Black to make ethical and smart business decisions that will benefit all of his shareholders, and not just company insiders.
We're all waiting on him to increase shareholder value.
Yes, long term aapl is a sell.
A few years from now I will sell my aapl shares. For a LARGE profit.
Hmmm... 2 times in the last 3 days 666 shares has been dumped at the bid to drop the pps way down.
That's annoying.
1,906,551,393 shares issued and outstanding as of March 31, 2013.
That's pretty close to my 2 billion share estimate I made a few weeks/months ago...
Also noted on the quarterly report:
As of 7/31/13, total shares outstanding is 1,271,034 (reflective of the 1500 to 1 reverse split) while total authorized shares remains at 4,000,000,000.
I wish the AS count came down as well so it wouldn't seem like there was infinite room to issue more shares and dilute the OS.
Interesting. Mine (Etrade) have not shown up. The original shares still show in my account, but the market price is 0.000000000
Your HNSSD shares aren't showing up in your account already, are they?
It is odd that Black is basically putting a 20 day "hold" on receiving the HNSSD shares for previous HNSS owners. Seems like he is purposely blocking us from selling shares over the next 20 days.
Wonder what he has planned between now and when we can finally have the option to sell?
The only reason I might get a Surface (PRO) over an iPad is because I can use it in the field for work. All my work software is Windows-based AND my software requires a USB license key to be installed during use (obviously the iPad does not have USB capability).
Still a firm Apple supporter though.
Really? Did not know that..
Even so, wouldn't the price they sold them to me at be the new market price?
See my last post that adds to the fishy stuff going on with your purchases.
Check this out.. Just bought 41 shares at the ask ($0.60) to test the market (what's 35 bucks anyway..). MM sold them to me at 60 cents a piece, but it hasn't printed on the tape yet. Price still at $0.05. That's a little screwy, isn't it?
HNSSD
QTY = 41
PRICE PAID = $0.60
TOTAL GAIN ($) = -$32.54
TOTAL GAIN (%) = -94.07%
MARKET VALUE = $2.05
LAST TRADE = $0.05
CHANGE ($) = -$0.22
CHANGE (%) = -81.48%
DAY'S GAIN = -$32.54
Hmmm... Well if you actually received some shares, that debunks the theory that the MM's are just shuffling shares around to make it seem like there is a market here.
Shares are actually trading, so someone has HNSSD shares to sell. No one should have those yet except Black..
OK.. then the follow up is: What's the point of that?
Where are the shares coming from that are being sold today?
Looks like a trade for 666 shares went through at .02, down .13 for the day. Someone spent $13 to drop it down 87%.
At least it tried to trade at the proper price (0.15)?
So I just read the quarterly report for SAFS...
"On April 22, 2013...the Company completed a 100 to 1 reverse stock split...by which 134,506,004 shares were reduced to 1,345,065 shares."
OK, nothing wrong with that...
"During the three months ended June 30, 2013, the Company issued 80,000,000 shares as follows: 21,000,000 share were issued under terms of convertible notes...35,000,000 shares issued to the Company's president for compensation and 25,000,000 shares issued to a consultant for research and development services. There were 85,345,065 shares of common stock issued and outstanding, net at June 30, 2013"
Wait, what? Am I reading that right? AFTER he cut every shareholders share count by 100, he issued himself a 35MM share block as compensation? This reverse split and share issue just gave Black 41% of the OS (on top of whatever he already owns) at the expense of wiping out his shareholders..
Its been a long tiring week already, someone tell me I'm reading/interpreting that wrong.
Was that sarcasm? I'm not quite awake yet.
+1 for that comment.
Sorry blue, this just doesn't look good. Hit me up on my email if you still have the address.
20% would be a stretch. As it stands now, I have less than 10% of my original investment left.
If Black doesn't do something beneficial for the shareholders, this will be 0% of the original value before anything close to 20%...
We've all had that inkling for a while, but Black does read the board (at least he used to), and we figured he would be less likely to WANT to help out the shareholders if we were constantly bashing him.
Its in everyone's best interest to at least give Black the opportunity to do right by his shareholders. After that, his business decisions are solely on his conscience...
And here I thought what little value my shares are worth couldn't get any lower...
Damn, halma called that one.
So... we should see pps go to 0.15 after the split then, correct? (1 for 1500 split).
I sure hope this isn't just to clear space in the OS for more dilution...
You sir, made a great decision.
I wasn't around then, but even if I was I don't know if I would have had the foresight like some people to "load the boat" on a young startup tech company.
You never know who's going to wind up on top 20 years from now...
Congrats.
We do (at least I've got mine). They are still restricted but I contacted my brokerage about beginning the process to remove the restriction, not that they are worth anything yet.
We're all still here waiting to see if Black will come through for his shareholders. Some of us bought 2 + years ago...
Black PR'd some big plans, still has yet to follow through on them. All we've seen is the share price go down and the OS go up. Hopefully Black realizes the small individual investors want to see a return on their investments as well.
Exactly right. Nothing to do but hold the shares and see what Black can do for us.
Hopefully this lack of updates is giving Black time to formulate a game plan for HNSS's next step.
Whatever it is (new product line, marketing campaign, etc.) he needs to let any positive impact be delivered directly to the actual shareholders via a pps increase.
We all bought in on the assumption that Black was going to take care of the little guys (us), so far we have not seen that reflected in company progress or an increase in share price.
Its much easier for small emerging companies to grow faster than a giant like AAPL. Once their technology is proven, you can bet the big boys will come and buy them out.
Just look at all the tech startups here in the US.. If they make a product/technology that proves successful, they tend to get bought up by the bigger tech companies. Only a handful go from garage startup to Fortune 500.
I still find it insane that the media is saying that Apples profits (consensus estimate around 6.9 billion) are "miserable"... Apple can't grow at startup growth rates forever... It is still making money hand over fist AND has not even started their next product cycle (whenever that may be).
I think AAPL long term outlook is just fine.
Should be right after market close tomorrow.
Its the "lot size" on the ask when you look up HNSS's quote.
Another 7MM already bought today, and the ask actually went down by a corresponding amount. Now showing about 126MM for sale at .0001.
Someone is probably just getting a cheap position here as a speculative play. If Black did do something to cause the share price to run up, those .0001's would be very profitable.
