FINANCING. you guys realize that when PLSB decided to drop the investment banking firms and go with long term shareholders it told them LESS THAN A WEEK to get the financing they wanted. Financing from Long term shareholders that have been with them since year 1 whom have never lifted the legend off their original shares. I mean, been a long term investor since the beginning- never selling a single share- not one single guy of the original investors they did financing with.
Oh yeah, not to mention the fact they are in this for dollars, their avg price is around .40+ cents. Shit I'm glad to be looking at this at .17. What a head start to the guys who have invested and are investing even more.
$1-$2 in 12-24 months. Once we break .20 we're headed to mid .30's. Shave some (only some!!) and throw it back bidding low .20's. we can help run the thing higher just buy selling momentum and buying (supporting it) on dips. It's how I play. Always around a growing core pos.
I have never sold not 1 share of Pulse Bev. The truth.
4th Q wasn't a blast. winter time in the US = usually a smaller sale amount in regards to lemonades etc. They are just now about to start distribution in Mexico.
You calculate this: I predict 8mil revs for the next 4 Q's to follow
The Bottom Is In. Anyone who wants shares is now competing with me among a few other I know.
Excellent to see you here B rich. It's been awhile, hope all's going well for ya buddy.
What are you concerned about? Maybe I can address it.
And this isn't a run of the mill crap OTC, the exact opposite and big investors know that. They aren't traders, they invest in fundamentals. So me, I have 0 concerns.
Long term investors.. they are looking a few years out.
Buddy talked with a shareholder this past week, has over $1M worth of stock, his initial buy-in, a couple years back. Yeah he's down and yes he's still buying, more shares than we could dream of eh? We're talking Large equity investors who "know" where the company is headed. I don't know but my dd adds to a favorable investment, and investment that will yield many multiples than that of the general $SPY now. I'm continually playing oil, gotta be a fool not too. $UWTI I bought 2.28 and 1.95 shaved some at 2.60 and 2.80 looking to buy more at 2.25'ish but targets are always moving, and rolling profits here.
in a nutshell.. Show us it's a viable brand and sells well in the market. here's a million case proof on concept benchmark. once you sell a million cases in one fiscal year it'll be seen as viable and well selling and we'll fly the pulse team back out to Atlanta and talk further.
Now, the lowest buyout in the beverage industry has been SOBE for $378Mil. The one I like to look at is Honest Tea in 2011 for $440 (KO did invested $40M a couple years prior to buying them for a reported $400+M in 2011) when Honest Tea did 1.4Mil cases in a year. Regardless of what KO has to say, they are other big players out there that would likely be interested. And regardless if Pulse is acquired once they hit 1+mil cases in a year it wont matter cause what will the stock be trading at if they are selling a million plus cases of product a year.. A Lot Higher. And maybe they aren't bought till they hit 1.5mil cases or 2mil cases.. buyouts are typically always at a premium and average p/s for non-alcoholic bev industry is about 2.6. Pulse should be dollars in a couple years max. that is my opinion and I am putting my money where my thoughts are.
I think they'll sell close to a million cases 2015. A reasonable 1 year target all things assumed, .60-.80+ likely hitting upwards of a buck. Loading .16-.20 range for a 1 year return if they do get there no one can argue those returns. Very rarely do you see a company like this on the OTC especially at this price. Diamond in the ruff my friend
I'm curious as to why they chose debt financing over equity (which can be done several different ways) other than the fact they likely had no one to turn to, or could turn to, that would dare do equity. No investment banker I know would do the equity, not unless they were OTCBB at least. And there are no large, long term internal shareholders to turn to either. Curious also to see financials and cash situation. Cash can't be good if they had to do 500k debt. 500k is probably about all they could get. All things considered it is .005'ish so things aren't that bad for a .005 company with a CE mark.
Anyone have a management contact, or better yet, the CEO's number?
Long at .0044. Small position to start, just rolled over a few bucks from playing the past two oil rebounds from mid 40's. No exit planned as I'm curious to see if/how this company develops and takes care of shareholders over the next year.
So many reasons, and for the same reasons all the other companies do it. When you go to the gas station you notice most every body is plastic.
It's cheaper
More friendly to the environment (when it comes to making the plastic from recycled waste and recycling the plastic)
Less weight when shipping
Less broken product and mess if dropped
I'm sure there are plenty of reasons
News today is HUGE we just have to understand what it means.
From the looks of it they did it through large, long term investors. Those shares wont be sold a. anytime soon and b. nowhere near where the stock is trading now so no worries.
Look, the main thing when looking at their financials is the cash.. Issue resolved.
Every company, EVERY single company, raises capital in the markets its why they go public. Every company has warrants. Don't let that concern you. What you (or anyone) should ask is what does private raise give the company (and the shareholders). It solves the working capital concern, they are using it to expand their distributions, and look, they've been around for about 4 years and are looking to go CF pos this year. That is huge! Beverage companies on average take twice as long to do that.
I myself would look at this company as an investment with a time frame of 1-2 years. Should be trading 1-2-3 bucks if not higher. All of us here know that Coca Cola company met with these guys a couple times already right? and what the outcome was? They'll meet again down the road once the outcome of that meeting is achieved. who knows, Coke or another big player could buy this company out
MM BKMM = Short. After watching it trade for a few weeks this is the conclusion I came to. If you're going to slap it try to do so when BKMM is top offer.
Most OTC's release their 10-k at the very end of March (given those whose fiscal year ends Dec, 31st) They don't have earnings release dates like large caps. 10Q's come out earlier and are smaller. 10K's hit at the end of the quarter. Q1 quarterly report will likely follow about a month and a half later. That's just how these things work. Hope that helps
I'm sure it'll be solid. I'm looking forward to it personally, but more interested in seeing the reports to follow!
I'm more of a bottom fisher, found these guys on a scan and noted the low price with an actual product and increasing revs. So I've been vetting the company Heavily. Load up here is my best advice. I'd say buy at .25, .30, .35, etc etc but sub .20 just load ha
Baxter restructured their business (something like that) and realized they didn't want to go that healthy beverage route and focus on their core business. From my understanding there was some one developing the formulations at Baxter that used to work with Clearly Canadian, and the guys as Pulse (can't recall which guy, maybe Bruce?) found out about it and through their past relationship stayed networked and that relationship is how they came to find it and work out a deal. Pulse Heart & Body Health is why the company is named Pulse I believe. Needed products in the mean time (niche beverage markets coconut water, limeades and lemonades) as they've spent about 3 years working on the further development on Pulse heart and body. Since they're going after healthy drinks they want to make sure all claims made are true so no problems arise such as the current law suits against Coke for Vitamin water.
Any Long-term shareholders here? I think this year will be a great year especially at these levels. It's a no brainer.
Yep. I keep buying when I can afford more.
First started at .065 lol, but my avg has been cut almost in half. never thought we'd get this low or id'a waited to buy more.
WHY are people selling, I know lots are buying myself included. bye bye sellers. this is bottom.

Sterling boasts 3,000 customers across the country along with its three regional distribution centers on the East Coast. The Company's seal products, particularly the O-rings, are ubiquitous and renewed growth in key industries, such as energy, is driving sales. End users of Sterling's products include some of the largest firms in the world. Sterling has implemented a roll-up acquisition strategy with funding in place to acquire other firms in the highly fragmented, multi-billion dollar seal market, at favorable private market valuations. Typical M&A targets generate up to $5M in annual revenue with 8-10% net margins and may sell for 3-5x EBITDA.
O-rings and rubber product sales were $3million worth in the first half of 2013. Nice revenue for STCC
Should be! Lot's of bidders/support right here premarket~
Yes, very profitable. STCC could easily be trading in the .30's+

Sterling Consolidated Acquires Superior Seals and Service
Company Commences Roll-Up Strategy Through Acquisition of High Point, NC-Based Manufacturer of Cut Gaskets and Mechanical Seals
NEPTUNE, N.J., Sep 20, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Sterling Consolidated Corp. (OTCBB:STCC) (the "Company"), a leading supplier of hydraulic and pneumatic seals to the automotive and industrial marketplace, today announced the acquisition of Superior Seals and Service in High Point, NC. This is the Company's first acquisition as it commences its accretive roll-up strategy.
The Company paid less than 3x EBITDA for the acquisition in a combined stock and cash transaction. The acquisition is expected to add $0.4 million in annual sales and approximately $50,000 in EBITDA upon closing.
Superior Seal, www.superiorseals.com, is a 20-year-old manufacturer of cut gaskets and mechanical seals. The acquisition adds a strategic location to enhance the distribution network of Sterling Consolidated, which can now provide one day transit time from Maine to Florida. The acquisition also provides the Company with manufacturing capabilities, increased the delivery speed on manufactured items with direct shipments and an in-house manager with over 30 year's experience as an engineer.
Darren DeRosa, Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Consolidated, commented, "We are very excited to announce our first of many acquisitions we anticipate happening over the coming quarters. Superior Seals is a very strategic acquisition as it not only adds to our top and bottom line, but also expands our geographic footprint. We are now able to deliver products with a one day transit time from Maine to Florida, which is a major competitive advantage in our industry. We look forward to announcing similar acquisitions in the future as we have a number of targets in our pipeline that will enable us to continue with our roll-up strategy."
Morning STCC, quiet here eh
