Still lots of fuel left in the rocket
Hey Hammer,
I got some aeye at .15, but thought of selling at 0.24, but didn't. Now it is back down again. Should have flipped. What make you think they will squash the lawsuits?
Also, are you still monitoring CSII? What do you think about its future now?
Hammer, I know that you like the stock, but what is a good price to enter and what are some of the pitfalls we need to look out for?
Hammer, are you still in $AEYE?
Thanks, glass_half_full, for the information.
Anyone has any idea which of the law firms I should join in class action lawsuit? I lost tons of money, as many of you did? Any one here joining the class action and with whom and why? Do you know if you join with one firm and the case with the other firm win and get some money for their claim, would your separate class action lawsuit get a cut of that. I have absolutely no experience in this. What do people here think the likelihood of such suit succeeding? Thanks in advance.

I am anxiously waiting to pounce once that happens. In fact, as soon as it breach $20 mark, I will be sure to get rid of my puts and exchange them for calls. I almost pull the trigger this AM when it reached $20. ESMO is just a bit more than a week from now and I think we might be pleasantly surprised.
Good luck, Binchey.

I agree that ASH is going to be a hugh event. However, if nothing more substantial is revealed by the time the ESMO abstracts are released, I believe there will be a dip, leading to a better buying opportunity to enter than at the price where we are at now. Having run up 4 dollarish in just a couple of weeks, I am sure there will be a pull back if no significant news can be found at ESMO.

I have nothing left but my core holding. I sold a couple of my non-performer stocks for a loss and bought the Jan 20 and 21 calls when ARIA was around 17 and 18 dollars. That was a good move since I missed the couple of chances to load up on option when ARIA was in the 16's a couple of months ago. I was out of cash and was stupidly holding on to my non-performing stocks because I did not want to sell those for a loss. Lesson learned not too late. As I said before, I am all in with ARIA from now on - no diversification. Every time I strayed, I get burned. I am in a good position now because I have the same number of core shares in aria for the last 5 years, and now I have some dry powder as well. If ARIA takes off from today and on, I would not lament the loss opportunity in not deploying the cash. I will just watch the core grows and grows. But if it dips, which I am sure it will between now and the end of the year, I will be able to really load up on Jan calls in a step-wise fashion should the price drifts lower.
Got rid off all of my calls. May be a bit premature since the price action looks really strong. Although I did not make the most gain percentage-wise, dollar-wise was the biggest option trading profit for me so far. I just want to sleep well over the weekend as Obama's Syria speech/military action approaches. Did you see how much we and Dow tanked in response to the announcement of the speech on Tuesday? Furthermore, I don't think neither Tim or Harvey is going to make any announcement/revelation on Wednesday that might steal the ESMO thunder. At most, I predict that they might repeat the announcement that the EPIC enrollment is ahead of schedule. That said, I expect a quick and severe sell off after Wednesday, given the recent run-up, the possible let down from the lack of news, Syria crisis and the fast approaching debt-ceiling debate. I guess I got a bit cocky predicting the future. I should keep reminding myself that my prediction often serves as the best counter-indicator when it comes to ARIA.

Believe me, I learn my lesson losing money after possible 200% gain as I dream of 300 or 400 % gain. I am now a firm believer that money in the pocket is better than dreams in the sky. I got rid the few Jan 20 contracts for a 100% return in 2 weeks and will sleep well tonight. I am still holding on to a bunch of Jan 21 contracts, waiting to unload. I want to thank you, 2da, Jan_Decker and Rumrunner and many others for educating me about options. Until about a year ago, I didn't even know what an option was and now I am having fun making money with my favorite stock without risking my core holding. I hope to get rid of my Jan 21 by tomorrow and hope to buy the dip a few more time between now and January. Hopefully, the job report won't be too robust that it would bring back the QE easing fear before I successfully get rid of my contracts. Cheers to all ARIA investors.
For once, some one upstairs is looking out for us. Obama going to congress on Syria could not be perfectly timed for ARIA long. Can you imagine what would happened to our share price if the EPIC news came out as cruise missiles rain down on Syria. I will punch out soon and hope to scoop us some more calls if people panic on the news. I've got some cheap Jan 21 calls that is begging me to cash out.
Good luck to all as we ride our favorite roller coaster.

Binchey,
I am a bit more greedy than you and plan to dump my 20 contracts at mid 20. I hope this won't fall back down to sub-20 before it reaches 20.50. Doesn't look like it would.
Sansana
Sounds like a good plan. Thanks.
Binchey, when I have enough courage to pull the trigger, I have been selling a few shares at peak prices and bought January 21 call at trough. I figure that if we don't reach 21 by then, we are not going to reach 20 either and a 21 contract is cheaper than a 20. Are you planning to hold yours til January or will you sell them when you make enough profit from premium. I can't decide whether there will be another opportunity to sell and buy again post ESMO sell off. Your thought?

ARIA is holding up very well, up ~1% when Xbi - 1.93%, ibb -1.53% dow -1.39%, NASDAQ -1.62 SPY -1.4. Whether it is Dan Loeb or GS causing this, I don't care. A pleasant surprise for a change.
Are you sure about that? Scottrade has 8/7/2013 as the date of record.
I am an atheist, thus praying for you won't help much. But, I want you to know that I wish you the very best outcome. I have too many in my family who had cancer. The good news is, none of them lose their battle with cancer. All are living full and active lives 10 years post diagnosis and treatment. I wish you a smooth and safe journey to full remission.

What brought this down to near 52 week low yesterday and a 7% bounce today. I am looking for an energy play, preferably natural gas. Can you give me an investment thesis why I should get into this other than the fact that they are oversold and give dividend? Thanks
I wish I have your kind of money. Everyone here is nipping at 2000 shares here and 5000 shares there. I wish I could join the feast, but I am ALL IN as is. This board must be comprised of mostly millionaires or they are just printing money in the basement. Good luck to all who pick up some today. Good move!
I thought we would get here before ASCO, but was worrying about sell the news post ASCO. I am not so sure that is going to happen this year, given the slugger-filled line up we have between now and the end of the year.
Let power hour commence!
Congrats, Ill man. Wouldn't that be a great present that keeps growing. Best wishes to you and your lucky gal. It's a BOOOOOM BOOOOM time on both fronts.

I can only see slides, but audio won't play for me. Been trying since 8:30.
Any know if there is thing new from UBS conference?
Hey Ill,
Do you think $MOS's PPS will drop a bit ex dividen? What might b a good point to write some June call option? I am thinking $65 strike price for June call. What does the chart tell you?
Thank you. You didn't just give me a fish. You show me how to catch them.
Are you basing this comment on this week's number or just expression of your optimism? If the former, please share the number. Thank you.
Hey 2Da,
How are you coming along with the update of upcoming events and catalysts?
Sansana
BW,
I think HB was about to go down the route you suggested that he should, but deliberately chose not to go down that path (thus the hesitancy). I think he did not want to offend folks at FDA as idiots for giving us the black label. I think he wants to maintain good relationship with FDA to pave way for smooth sailing for EPIC trail and 113 approval. I think he figure that the Rx number will speak in favor of pona overtime, without any cost to his political capital.
Sansana
They may have gotten to wrong top line number, but 2/3 of the audience is expecting to us beat the street consensus though. Rachel, eat your heart out.
2DA,
Could you recap. I only heard 1/2 of HB. I kept getting kicked off every other minute, no joke or exaggeration. Can you recap the salient points?
The question is whether this is a run up in anticipation of Euro approval announcement tomorrow at Barclays. If noting new announced tomorrow, I think SP will sink transiently. I hope to add shares then.
Ichimoku stabbed me in the back the last Ariad downturn.
I agree that if you expect nothing from tomorrow, you won't be disappointed, but doesn't it make you wonder why an investment call was scheduled the following day after the quarter call? If HB is going to say nothing new during the Q/A, wouldn't this call be viewed as a waste of time?
I usually don't pay much attention to it, but because yesterday's after hour high was predictive of early price action this morning. Let's hope it foretell strong interest in ARIA. Only a few days left before Monday quarter conference.
Whoever bought in the after hour yesterday must know something, more than we all have known in our heart about this coming Monday quarter conference.
The microphone is still running. Someone said it was great to HB and there is a lot of chit chatting going on in the background. I hope we might overheard something very interesting like FDA stopping EPIC trial. Wishful, or rather a prematured hope on my part.
Thanks, Glass. Not just sayin', it is enlightening to me.
