it's a great product...there's a huge market (consumer - industrial - emergency response - household...)...so as long as they are breathing there's hope...but they need to find some traction.
no patent issue....that's a general purpose sorbent...not oil only.
And they probably don't get the 30-1 pickup ratio.
Dozens of comparable products exist, but only MOP seems to achieve the high pickup ratio like stated in the patent
these documents have been online for several weeks, but are now probably easier to find because of the new website.
there have been other documents online but taken down in the meantime. But nothing shocking...
sorry...my keyboard misinterpreted my intented 3.
The number in the original post did state 3
funny...there was a 4 page news release by WDK online after all???
Mr DD...happy to see that there is still one decent man on this board.
But keep watching your back....once everyone on this board has ridiculed Wayne, they will probably look for a new victim.
a year ago I would have posted the info, but nowadays almost any information is abused by some members on this board.
I do my own research now.
i'm not an insider either...just using google
it's a news release...but so far I haven't found it elsewhere...so i suppose they will come out with it shortly.
I don't want to screw up their timing...but if you know where to look you can already read it.
nope...there's more to find...
there's a better PR online...3 pages...by WDK...
sorry man...having too much fun and being scared at the same time. People will once again find things to bash probably and I hate that behaviour more and more.
Give it a few more hours...if you haven't found it by then, I'll send you the link.
it has been available for a few days already...but not through the link they tried to supply.
It's actually not that hard to find. If people can find tax issues from Wayne and other little relevant stuff, then I think they can find this one as well. So enjoy the search.
Just to prove I'm telling the truth....if you find the contract you'll see that the steamturbine is not part of the deal. The boilers however are...
Mr DD...don't get me wrong...I do appreciate your role on this board. You try te keep the middle. I'm just enjoying the fact I seem to be ahead of the board this time. A little competition is always fun...
3 million isn't very accurate. just read the contract...it's all in there.
like I said a few days ago...there is more public then you realise...but so far no one else seems to find it...
Stock price is irrelevant to grow this business right now. It only rewards flippers on this board.
The company is focussing on building their business and they seem to be heading the right way. And if that takes all their time and leaves us in the dark sometimes, then so be it.
there is more material public than everyone on this board seems to know. I'm supprised that even DFS hasn't found it yet...
what's the link with mop?
better look at this instead:
http://www.nccouncil.org/pdf/Groveton%20New%20Hampshire%20Wausau%20Mill%20July%202010.pdf
p56: wayne king!
old mill...north of bath...3 activities planned...combined heat and power generation that was previously mentioned...
quite sure this is what they are talking about...
I would even go further...
They seem to have lost a business opportunity due to some inappropriate 'investor DD'.
A possible partner pulled out again because he got scared by investors behaviour.
So I think IHUBBERs have lost their good name because of some people around here and I don't think the company is going to issue any PR just to please IHUB anymore....
I fully agree...that's what they should be doing, and I hope they are doing just that.
I'm just saying don't expect them to get in by calling or mailing all the people that appear in the newspapers these days because of the spill. That's not how it works.
Why should I?
everyone is bashing CD and Wayne, while many on this board have no clue how this works.
Every time there's a spill, they get exited and think MOP will get involved ...and when they don't... they start bashing around.
Mop is not an oil response company...so don't expect them to get in just by calling whoever is responsible for the cleanup.
However they should contact them to try and establish a relationship for any future spill.
you obviously have no idea how these companies work...
showing what mop can do is not going to work.
Don't get your hopes up just because there is a spill. It takes time and effort to get in with such companies and a spill is not going to change that.
They have their response plans and response companies ready to go, and they won't change that while the spill is ongoing. Best chance to get in is afterwards when they go through the 'lessons learned'...
Has any of you ever had a business?
No matter how great your product is, doing the right thing at the right time is crucial for succes.
Management is leading this business, not shareholders. If you don't trust them, sell or buy them out.
I'm seriously thinking of selling my self, not because I don't like the company, but because some shareholders are a danger to its succes.
DD is great and handing management some leads is fantastic, but you never ever bypass them are interfere with their contacts.
Will everybody please stop interfering!
Mop is obviously on top of this one. Don't spoil it PLEASE!!!!
They have the contacts and much more information than some trigger happy inverstors. Timing of every thing they do is often crucial. So all your actions will rather hurt the case than help it.
It's our own ridiculous behaviour that makes MOP release not to much information because we obviously don't know how to deal with it in an adult way.
DFS, I think Mop management is doing fine without us spoiling the party.
Let them handle this, they have more info and contacts than us.
Timing can be crucial, so don't be trigger happy.
If you really want to contact them, at least ask permission from Wayne or Charles!
Research is great, interfering is not!!!
did anyone forward these pictures to Nungesser and Jindal?
They are still struggling with oil in their marshes and they don't know how to deal with it...
Wrong...Costner should not be aware of MOP!
He's the main competitor.
Costners machines are water-oil separators...exactly what you would use mop for.
Costner is only intersted in making money and getting attention...don't be fouled by his 'green mind'.
If he knows about mop, he will find reasons why they should not use it. and he has a much bigger audience than mop...
there will always be a need for dispersants for the oil mop didn't pick up...and as long as there are no real green dispersants I can live with it that they use petrotech for it...
DFS...i cant reply to your private messages, but mop is aware of the petrotech claims and is looking into it.
mop still is the first choice however...so don't think it's much of an issue right now
believe me...i know about moles and stuff.
It's an important part of petrotech and it just makes it another dispersant like corexit. it might be less toxic, but it just does the same....
that's the problem with terms like 'environmentally safe'...it doesn't state how this is defined. It's an unregulated term.
It's greenwashing at its best.
So you are right...mop should be carefull to promote these products, but I'm still comfortable with the alliance to get a better entry to the market.
And even if mop is used as first response, there is still a need for dispersants of course...
already told them so...
What's the point of DD if you don't read what is in your finds???
That Petrotech isn't exactly green, so MOP should be carefull not to promote it that way.
I like the alliance, but they have to be carefull
???
you posted it yourself...
http://www.freepatentsonline.com/EP0944430.html
DFS, the point I want to make is that the green claims of petrotech are far from green.
A main part of that product is ethylene oxide, wich is extremely nasty stuff.
The petrotech product might be better than corexit, but it certainly isn't a harmless product.
Mop should still be the first choice, but it's a good move to join the competition to get some work for mop...
it's all in the patent...that certainly is not harmless.
It's good they joined forces to get mop involved in more cleanups, but that petrotech product isn't exactly green.
It might be greener than other dispersants however...
