April Fool's Day?
At this point the credibility of MDMN is so damaged that they might as well say that Sasquatch did it. I'm fairly certain, 95% of the shareholder base would believe them because regardless of the BOD's gross incompetence, they "know what they own" or are "invested in the mountain" and "that's what counts".
His grammar is atrocious but he does ensure CAPS lock is off and he uses spell check.
Oh and he does realize that 2,000,000 million is not equal to 2 million.
So I think he'd be a phenomenal employee. Plus he likes pears and it just so happens JJ is on helluva pear farmer.
I haven't the foggiest. So did he really write the email that HR commented on? I have to agree with HR here and theorize that he probably did not pen that missive.
I think Sasquatch would be a breath of fresh air. He's very open and honest although his Mastery of the English language leave something to be desired.
I'm not sure but if he's as elusive as Roberto, the IR guy from MDMN, we may never know.
I just got my email returned.
Therein lies the rub. No one can tell you what the float is or what the share structure is because the company won't let the transfer agent answer those questions. Who knows how many shares have been dumped into the market on unsuspecting shareholders; could be zero, could be two billion. You could read a long essay by the dentist on how poor little Medinah has been subject to the longest naked short selling scheme in the history of the markets but I suspect you don't have the stomach for that load of hogwash. The real problem is you don't know what your enemy looks like. At the very least, it is sophomoric actions by the BOD, at the worst...who knows.
Yes and he also had terrible friends giving him really bad advice. If you read the book in a modern translation, those three friends are often given the names Les Price, Greg Chapin and Dennis Tenney. The Sabeans are generally referred to as the Chileans lead by the benevolent general JJ. What is very interesting is that these Chileans carried off 500 donkeys, among other things, but still couldn't manage to haul enough ore off their secret mountain to make Job rich. In the end, Job rebukes his three friends, tells them they lied to him, calls the SEC who pursues the Chileans and eventually Job regains his wealth. It is unclear what happens to the three friends but most scholars surmise that after they left Job, they befriended a guy named Bob and scammed him out of his fortune. He wound up a pauper and even wrote the lesser known book of Bob - known to some as the book of Stupid. Not many copies survived but you can get the general gist of it by reading any penny stock message board on iHub.
Well technically Jonah was in the belly of the whale. Job just lost it all and his wife told him to "curse God and die" which is probably fairly similar to what happens to most penny stock investing husbands.
How about applying Proverbs 6:16-19 to the MDMN BOD. Or better yet, let's keep scripture out of the stock market and just stick to the facts as we know them.
Shareholders are always the lowest priority when it comes to non-SEC reporting pink sheet stinkers. I'd say MDMN and the mysterious partner C are behaving exactly as expected.
That is one question I would love to know the answer to. Unfortunately, I think the vast majority of message board posts are made up BS. If I said I had a business partner in Santiago who told me that there is will be no JV, who are you to say I'm lying? It just might be true but the cloud of anonymity surrounding all of us posters makes it near impossible to determine the truth. Add that to non-reporting status, a gagged transfer agent, and out of the US operations and you have the perfect insider enrichments sheme.
Thank you for pointing out exactly why the entire pink sheet market should be shuttered.
Merry Christmas.
I'm sure he will get a good laugh out of it. But then again, he's probably laughing all the way to the bank anyway.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled on topic discussion of MDMN.
Guess the date MDMN released this piece of news.
I'm guessing we get an update similar to this one from back in 2010. (I added some commentary)
Shareholder Update – December 2013
Dear Shareholders:
Medinah Minerals, Inc. Management has now proceeded to the finalization stage of the Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) on the Alto de Lipangue property in Chile. (we really don't have a signed deal but we want to pretend that we do so everyone buys lots of shares as the insiders and promoters dump like crazy) A recent series of meetings conducted in both Miami, Florida, and Santiago, Chile (...and all kinds of other places around the world. Les, Greg and I really like to travel to exotic locations on the shareholder dime) has resulted in a conclusionary JVA encompassing all issues and legalities necessary, and legally required of each of the respective parties. (issues and legalities are such nebulous terms so don't be surprised if this deal goes bust)
The caveat warning of the JVA finalization will be the actual receipt of the initial tranche of funding that is slated to be released on or before January 15, 2011. (we probably won't get any money from anyone but we want to tell you that we will because it will help pump up the price so we can sell to a bunch of suckers at hugely inflated prices who will then watch the price tank when the JV doesn't materialize) The Company will then be released from various Non-Disclosure Agreements and full disclosure can then be made as to the complete terms and conditions among the parties to the Agreement. (like that will ever happen...we will hide behind an NDA for as long as we can and then eventually announce that the deal went bust without ever releasing any information) In preparation, the companies have initiated an early set up of the needed exploration and development program under the supervision of an internationally recognized company. (but we won't tell you who that company is because it doesn't exist and it never will. We like to use terms like "internationaly recognized company" to pump you up so you buy more shares at grossly inflated prices and make the insiders and promoters who are dumping quite rich) Simultaneously, the companies will undertake the reality of allowing/commencing a production program at the Las Dos Marias gold and copper claims. (we were supposed to be shipping ore ages ago but ran into problem with the donkey union and are unable to continue the massive shipments of ore that we promised all the shareholders)
If all matters proceed as stated and planned, (don't worry, they won't) Medinah Minerals, Inc. will call for and host an Annual General Meeting for Shareholders that will be scheduled on or about the end of February, 2011.
Ongoing negotiations by Management have concurrently continued regarding a Joint Venture Agreement as to the POLO claims in which Medinah Minerals, Inc. owns a 15% interest. Completion of Agreements and startup of a viable exploration/drill program is anticipated to begin early in calendar year 2011.
The Pumillahue project, in which Medinah Minerals, Inc. holds a 5% interest, has encountered some difficulties. An internal review resulting in a reorganization/buyout plan is on the negotiation table. Medinah’s holding is a minority interest and the Company will monitor the developments and report results to the shareholder body when determined. (blah, blah, blah just some more junk deals to get you in a lather and ready to buy more shares)
May the Holiday Season bring to each of you and your families the happiest of Yuletide Festivities. We wish to extend to all our loyal shareholders our sincere gratitude for all your support throughout the past “difficult” year of trials. The Company is truly looking forward to “at last” being able to report major developments in the ensuing New Year. (don't hold us to "at last" being able to announce a deal...you know we have been failing for 16 years)
Thank You,
Juan José Quijano Fernández
President
When JJ "ponders the past", does he reminisce about 16 years of failure?
I thought it was the men's room of a geriatric swingers club.
Thanks for the insightful DD. There is a veritable army of skeletons in MDMN's closet and they just seem to keep making guest appearances at every turn.
Feel free to take it up with admin if you think I am in error. Rumors and innuendo are discussed all the time without there being confirmation from the company. But I will defer to admin. If they feel that a rumor that is being talked about in multiple shareholder circles is off topic, they can remove all the posts from HR (another mod) myself and any other shareholder who has mentioned Volcan at any time in the recent past.
Beth,
I think Volcan is on topic since the generally accepted rumor is that they are the partner that MDMN has hitched their wagon to. I think in the interest of full disclosure, the reason that this rumor persists is largely due to the following "bread crumbs".
1. Volcan was rumored to be one of the partners that MDMN turned down in favor of Ulander.
2. Apparently there was some poster on MP who was rumored to have been employed by Volcan who made some comments backing up bread crumb #1.
3. Various questions have been asked of Les Price and while he has not confirmed any of the rumors, he certainly has done nothing to send the shareholders down a different trail.
What I find interesting is that several months ago, Volcan was mentioned as a potential partner and now the general gist of most posts is that they ARE the partner. I suppose the old George Costanza theory applies "its not a lie if you believe it".
I personally have absolutely no clue who the latest partner is largely because I don't have any hard evidence leading me to draw a conclusion. All I have so far are rumors and inuendo. It very well could be Volcan but then again, it could also be ACME Mining or some other garbage company based in South America. I don't put anything past this management team (Tenny included). Let's not forget, they jumped into bed with Ulander with both feet so at this point, I won't be surprised by anything.
Enjoy the entertainment,
JP1101
I stand corrected - after reading the post again, HR believes that there is a 50% chance that a JV will be announced before the end of the year.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=92633069
HR has made it abundantly clear where he stands with regards to MDMN (see post below)
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=92633069
If I read it correctly, HR is of the opinion that there is a 25% chance that there will be a JV between a "major-esque" entity and MDMN before the end of the year.
I recommend you reference this post for any future questions.
HR, if I've interpreted the post incorectly, please clarify so we can put an end to this silly "bet".
Apparently you can and if rumors are correct, you should have two or three more of these gems coming out in the near future.
Should be good fun all around.
Medinah's professionalism astounds me. Please tell me how many shares JJ returned? Was it 2,200,000 million (which is really 2.2 trillion) or was it 2.2 million? Given they are a non-reporting company, it wouldn't surprise me if they have issued 2.2 trillion shares.
They made the mistake 4 times in this update. Who is Dennis Tenney and do you really want him as the CEO if he can't properly write basic numbers in an update?
Good grief, I'm sure the soon to be partner is really impressed with they folks running this "company".

Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Have a great weekend!
I give them an A for consistency. MDMN, putting the fail in failure for 24 years...and counting.
PSA: Posts about Moderators and/or deletions are also "off topic". Issues of this nature need to be discussed with a Site Admin.
If you have a problem with why one of your posts was deleted by a mod, please take it up with iHub admin. They make the final decisions.
PSA: Use of such terms as "basher", "pumper", "naysayer", "cheerleader" etc. within a post are grounds for removal based on iHub TOU.
CS,
Do you have "boots on the ground" in Chile? If so, what is preventing them from going to MDMN's mine site and looking around? If they are not allowed on the site, could they ask the locals a few questions and maybe get some real information? If people are really crawling all over the mountain, I'd assume the level of traffic to and from the site would be significant.
Just a thought.

I posted this on the MDMN board. The clowns who manage that company and the people who shill for them actually think it is a great idea to just start digging holes and shipping ore without conducting a feasibility study. I fully expect some sort of NI 43-101 foolishness to flow from their new unnamed partner. Their previous partner, Amarant, let fly an NI 43-101 whopper. That JV failed; not holding my breath on this one.
This is why a feasibility study is so important and why MDMN should do one.

PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Junior Globe Metals and Mining has abandoned the Mount Muambe rare earth elements project, in Mozambique, after a conceptual feasibility study proved that the project was uneconomical.
Globe said on Tuesday that the indicative study demonstrated that the current fluorite resource would require a capital investment of about $50-million, and would deliver operating costs of $50/t.
The resource grade was currently too low, and the mineralogy too complex to be economical, with metallurgical testwork demonstrating that commercial acid-grade product could not be achieved.
Furthermore, the likelihood of finding economic or commercially recoverable mineralisation in the current licence holding had also been assessed as unlikely.
“Not all exploration ventures result in success. The strategy with this project was to define a fluorite resource that could be used to produce acid for the Kanyika project,’ said Globe MD Alistair Stephens.
He noted that the company had undertaken all the necessary steps in the assessment of the commercial viability of the project, which resulted in a negative outcome.
“It is more viable to import fluorspar from other sources than from Mount Muambe,” Stephens added.
He said that the company was now focused on using its cash position on projects that had better potential.
Just remember, when news starts flowing from a non-SEC reporting pink stinker, it generally means the insiders are selling like crazy and a whole new crop of bagholders is being cultivated.
I'd venture to guess MDMN is no different since no one really knows what the share structure looks like or how many shares any of the insiders hold. Spare me the links to OTC Markets and the company website; the TA is gagged so no one can independently verify any of those numbers. Ungag the TA and I'll gladly retract my statement once an independent third party validates what the company has been publishing.
They can't or won't tell us what they sold that netted them $658,635.
It looks like whoever is running the Twitter feed is sending out some good old fashioned promotion tweets (by their own admission) even when there is absolutely no news.
http://theminingplay.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=941
Looks like the twitter office "stands ready to make the tweet that some shareholders have been waiting for since the last century to hear (before Twitter was even invented!)."
That has to be good news right?
I'd have to check the board. The old "Monk's Den" crowd either changed their iHub names, disappeared entirely or fled to the wannabe iHub board that doesn't tolerate any disent. If you follow the bread crumbs, many of them are invested in a multitude of pink sheet scam companies. Some people never learn. Sad.
MDMN, CDCH, MPIX, PNTV to name a few.
Monk was involved with this turd a few years back. That alone should make anyone run as fast as they can in the exact opposite direction of SUGO.
