They might be but if they were all in sub-$1, there is no reason for them to dump a bunch of money in at $1.7
It could easily go to $1.05 and they aren't in the business of holding the bag. We'll know for sure if they start pumping like crazy this weekend trying to get retail back in. Risky game if you ask me but then again, I'm out with profits so I'm just here for the ride and the popcorn!
Holding up better than I expected. Promo guys are gone. Problem is now the volume is going to dry up.
I was in at 0.452, out of 40% of my position at 1.32 and out the remaining at 1.66
Definitely a roller coaster now.
Could be. We shall see.
Should have opened back up by now. I wonder why it is taking so long.
Nothing new on the Neo website except that trading resumed. But no new trades posted.

Hypercharge Announces Non-Brokered Private Placement
I’m still researching their business model but from what I can gather, it is pretty sound. Install chargers for EVs, pretty simple. I’m not a fan of the share issuance clauses in their financial documents but I can understand the need for this as a new startup.
Interesting - wonder what is driving the volume.
I'm going to make three statements:
(1) The mountain is not a world class deposit.
(2) There will be no acquisition of Auryn by a major mining company.
(3) There will be no JV between Auryn and a major mining company.
If you want to know how I know, lets just say the last 4 months in Chile have been illuminating. I know where to look and who to talk to.
This is my last post to this board. To those who lost money, you won't get it back. To those who stole that money (you know who you are), I doubt the authorities will catch you but Karma will. To those who continue to tout this company as a good investment (you know who you are), I believe Karma will catch up with you as well.
Les wasn't an idiot. He deceived a lot of shareholders by feeding them extensive lines of bovine fecal matter and constantly playing to their desire to get rich. He's a master manipulator and a scam artists, not an idiot.
I don't believe Kevin is an idiot. He stepped up to take a job that no one else wanted. He's doing the best he can with the resources provided. It isn't a waste of money to go after Les especially if Les has some hard assets that might be converted into restitution. I think giving him ample time to sort this mess out is appropriate.
Easy big fella.
You should know I am no fan of MDMN, how it has been run, or the fact that for years it was a scam used by Les and his cohorts as a pump and dump share-selling, insider enrichment scheme. But lets be honest here, Les is, for all intents and purposes, largely out of the equation and being pursued for the alleged crimes he visited on shareholders. Kevin has stepped up to try and right a sinking ship and return as much value to the shareholders as possible. He took over a job akin to running the dewatering pumps on the Titanic - it is a thankless job with precious little resources. I think he deserves at least a shot at helping the company regain its footing. From what I can gather, he has done nothing that calls into question his integrity. Until there is evidence to suggest that Kevin is another Les, I think everyone should give him the benefit of the doubt and allow him to do his job. Les and his flunkies left Kevin a mess - its going to take some time to clean up. Everyone owes him that time. Or he can just quit now, MDMN can fold up shop, and the shareholders lose it all.
I have my doubts as to if Auryn is aligned with MDMN. They did give them a sweet deal on the $2 million financing so maybe they are looking to drag them along. The lack of assay and production news is a bit troubling but mining is a tricky business so there could be some additional challenges. Once again, we wait for "next week".
He resigned as Director of Communications for Auryn. He is still president, CEO, treasurer, and secretary for MDMN.
Can you post the link?
Do they lose 4% and go down to 1% of Auryn or do they lose 4% of their total interest?
I suspect it is the latter.
The back channel rumor mill never shut down and never will. As much as everyone wants to say that this is a new MDMN with Kevin at the helm, they are only partially right. There are still countless rumors flying around that only those with ties to Les or insiders would know about. I think Kevin is an honorable man but he needs to tell some of these long term MDMN acolytes to shut it and just let the company do the talking. If Les is attempting to settle with the company, don't you think that is something the company should report when the time is right? You have the same sewing circle and insider shareholders throwing out rumors again - it is more muted than previously but nevertheless, it's still there. All they are doing is hurting Kevin's efforts at reshaping the image of MDMN. Makes you wonder what the motivation of those people really is...
If you read between the lines, shareholders are being set up for a less than stellar property report.
They will claim that Les set them up. Just watch the rats scurry around and blame Les if their name is on that spreadsheet. I also think that this info never gets released if some of the hard core apologists are named. My only caveat is that I do believe Kevin is an honorable man and he's trying to do the right thing. Those John Does better have good lawyers and we all need to remember, the internet is forever.
The gagged TA was pointed out years ago by several folks here. That should have been a red flag to anyone but was summarily ignored by those who chose to believe MDMN was not a fraud. Karma...or in this case, Chacma.
Good stuff HR, certainly a step in the right direction.
You may have to wait on reading the report as it will be for internal purposes only. With that being said, I'm sure a future report will be made available for general consumption and given this man's credentials, it will be what Auryn needs to move forward and monetize the property. I think it is safe to assume that the results of this gentleman's analysis will be the binary event you have been talking about these many years. If the property is economical and full of minerals, MDMN has a chance. If his analysis reports lackluster or mediocre results, I think MDMN may be toast.
That is an astute observation and an interesting third option. Maybe they are just really tough businessmen and they see an opportunity to marginalize MDMN and the moving truck full of baggage on the cheap. However, I don't think that tough businessmen would want any appreciable interest in their company held by frauds and cheats. This is why I think they need to root out the issues with MDMN's capital structure before they IPO and presumably do a share swap with MDMN shareholders. We'll see what happens.
You are correct, what they do with the cash and the property will be telling. They are going to need to get the attention of the greater mining community before they IPO. Solid exploration results will do this - nothing more. Platitudes and promises are not going to woo investors. If Auryn delivers, then MDMN shareholders should have a fighting chance (assuming the share swap happens).
Les needs to be brought to justice and shares must be clawed back. If Auryn intends to IPO, complete with MDMN share swap, then I would think they care a great deal about who owns shares of MDMN and whether those shares were legally obtained. Why would they want to swap a bunch of illegal MDMN shares for legitimate Auryn shares? That makes absolutely no sense and it would allow Les' deception and fraud to be complete. Not to mention, it would provide those who obtained illegal shares to have a voting interest in Auryn. A can assure you that if they are "smart... intelligent... business people... who don't go around... throwing money down a rabbit hole...", this is anathema to them. So the fact remains, they need to spend money to go after the fraudsters. You can't have it both ways, either they are smart, savvy business people or they are in on the fraud. I firmly believe that MDMN is a complete and total scam but...they have somehow hitched themselves to what appears to be a legitimate company (even a blind squirrel finds a nut). If Auryn can afford shareholders an out and a chance to recoup some money after Les STOLE it from them, I'm all for it. But it's one or the other - either Auryn is honest or they are in on the scam. Time to chose my simian friend.
I spoke with Mr. Chacma. His comments lead me to believe that the private party is either affiliated with or may be his 2 companies: Independent Mining Board, Eastern Canadian Ingot Limited Enterprise.
The stop sign - not a good thing.
Who knows if this 0% loan is going to pan out. It could be that Auryn does eventually IPO and all current MDMN shares are converted into free trading shares. That will be similar to a R/S but better for MDMN shareholders as a "legit" company will be trading as opposed to the POS MDMN. The saga continues. I'd like to see the conversion math on MDMN to Auryn shares...that will be interesting given that it probably won't be a 1 for 1 swap.
It sounds like MDMN shareholders are being screwed by Auryn. Considering the initial deal was for Masglas to fund all operations, this is different and will most likely require MDMN shareholders, who own 27.5% of Auryn, to be diluted. MDMN has no cash and they have no more shares to issue so it looks like they may need to sell some of their stake in Auryn. Bad news for MDMN stockholders, good news for Auryn. Shareholders get diluted, Auryn begins the slow process of pushing MDMN to the curb with the eventual dumping of them into the ashbin of stinky pinky stock coming later.
What a scam.
I also heard this is being done to pay for Mr. Chacma's enormous medical bills.
I'm not sure what is going through Mr. Chacma's head right now but I do know he needs medical attention. He is under excellent care right now and I am convinced he will get better and eventually be cured from his delusions of champagne wishes and caviar dreams. Unfortunately, the legion of doctors surrounding him do not share my optimism. They believe he has a long road ahead and may never get better. We shall see...
For now, MDMN continues to be a dog with little hope of recovery. I think Les may have damaged this company beyond repair. If Auryn does prove to be profitable, I doubt MDMN shareholders will see much of the riches. I think the share structure is so destroyed that it may be unrecoverable.
*** Mr. Chacma Update ***
I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I must inform everyone that Mr. Chacma is not doing well. I received a call from his psychologist who indicated that he is suffering from a sever case of paranoid delusional disorder. This is in addition to his Tourette's which is completely out of control at this point in time. They currently have him on a cocktail of low grade horse tranquilizers including a fairly large dose of Ketamine. This is keeping his cursing in check but unfortunately, the side effects are manifesting themselves in incoherent rants about Les and the future of MDMN. Many of the doctors claim they have never seen anything this bad and have called in several specialists; two from Uganda, one from Argentina, four from Chile, and a whole team from Singapore. They have been pouring over his written and spoken words but all of these eminently qualified doctors are completely flummoxed. While I'm not a doctor, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night and know that this is bad. Mr. Chacma is getting the best help he possibly can but I fear he may be too far gone.
Over the weekend, he had two visitors in addition to me. Both showed up wearing trench coats, fedoras, and dark sunglasses. They reeked of booze, pears, and stale cigars. Neither would identify themselves but they demanded to speak to Mr. Chacma. Without ID, they were turned away, but they did leave him a letter which I have been unable to read. When I get a hold of it, I'll provide a transcript.
In terms of MDMN, I am forbidden to bring up the topic in any form of conversations. The very mention of MDMN, gold, Les, JJ, Greg, or ADL send Mr. Chacma into euphoric rants about untold riches. The issue is that it sends his blood pressure through the roof and last night, he tried to swan dive out of his window. Luckily, he is on the first floor and the window is double reinforced plexiglass so he didn't get far. He did suffer a nasty bump on his head.
As I hear more, I will update the board.
EX! Things are going swimmingly for me. Family is great and I'm preparing for a new phase in my life. You are absolutely correct when it comes to MDMN, you got to play the chart. Pictures don't lie! I think there are much better plays out there than MDMN but to each his own.
I am not allowed to discuss incarceration with Mr. Chacma as it causes his blood pressure to rise and his Tourette's to flare up. He believes that he will be fine and that no wrongs have been done to any shareholder. The cocktail of drugs is really keeping him mellow but he makes no sense when he speaks. I shall continue to attend to him. If he is incarcerated, I shall visit him when I can but I hear they have very tight restrictions at the mental institutions.
Mr. Chacma is home from the hospital and adjusting to life with a full-time live-in nurse quite nicely. He appears calm and his Tourette's Syndrome does not appear to be manifesting itself quite as much as in the past. I did visit him last night and was a bit shocked to find that he is on a heavy cocktail of Codeine, Morphine, Demerol, and Hydrocodone. It is administered to him every 15 minutes in 500 mg doses in a syringe that looks like it is used to tranquilize wildebeests. He seems to be doing well although at this time, he is on bed rest and unable to use the phone or his computer for fear of his blood pressure spiking to unhealthy levels.
I spoke with him about the most recent MDMN press releases. He became quite agitated when I informed him that MDMN was petitioning for the removal of Les' counsel. He attempted to get up and use his computer but the nurse quickly shot him up with a double dose of the drug cocktail and he calmed down. I couldn't understand many of his words as they came out slowly and slightly slurred but here are Mr. Chacma's words to all of you:
Les...is...beyond reproach...he always...had the...best interests of MDMN...in mind...Buy...more...shares...more...shares...for less...money
He drifted off to sleep. I left and plan on visiting him again this evening. I will pass on any messages this board may have.
Mr. Chacma has been hospitalized with a severe bout of Cotard's Syndrome. He's doing well but was quite disheartened when he learned of the motion to remove Les' lawyer.
I'll provide updates as I receive them from his physician.
*** EXTRA *** Mr. Chacma Update *** EXTRA ***
Mr. Chacma called me this morning. He sounded inebriated. He asked me how my weekend was and if I had enjoyed my vacation in Morocco. I explained to him that I enjoyed the northwest part of Africa but was somewhat stymied by their lack of internet access. I was only able to check in on MDMN when I retired to my hotel. I did mention that I thought the recent rise in share price was a good thing for shareholders and it appeared that MDMN now had a 'crook-free' management team. This last comment did not sit well with Mr. Chacma and he launched into a rather lengthy tirade about how Les Price was always looking out for the company and how other shareholders had conspired to bring Les down because they were jealous of his position. He regaled me with stories of how Les always went above an beyond to provide quality information to various shareholders who would then disseminate it to other shareholders. Les really kept a good handle on the rumor mill and ensured only accurate information was published. I told him he was full of bollox and that is when things took a turn for the worse.
After 3 minutes of cursing, he calmed down and took another pull on his handle of Military Special Vodka. I know it was Military Special because he told me how he used it to peel paint off his bumper using the concoction he was now imbibing. I asked him what he thought about doing a reverse split. He thought this was a capital idea but when I mentioned how dilutive it could be, he retorted with the comment that dilution was actually really good for penny stock companies, especially miners. I asked him to explain his logic and he said that if MDMN did an R/S and then issued a ton of shares, it would bring in more investors who would be eager to scoop up free shares. "More shares for less money" he claimed. I informed him that a R/S would actually cause the price to climb to which he said "exactly, don't you want to price to climb?". Of course I retorted, but a climbing price due to a R/S isn't the same thing as a normal climbing price. He cursed again and told me I was full of crap.
I don't think that he understands the concept behind a R/S. He began slurring his words. Since I knew I couldn't convince an imbecile like Mr. Chacma to understand the nuances of a R/S, I hung up.
I don't think Mr. Chacma has any health insurance, at least not insurance that will cover severe mental illness. Last I checked, he was with an outfit called Independent Doctors Incorporated Of Toledo (IDIOT) but I think they either folded or are currently being sued for around $1.5 Billion dollars due to corporate malfeasance and doctor malpractice. It seems they had a lot of clients who invested in stocks like MDMN and they were prescribing a cocktail of PCPs, LSD, and Barbiturates and calling it Tylenol. I think they are up a creek but what is pretty awesome is a lot of the people who were injured are paying lawyers to go after the company and try and recoup some damages. I actually think they might win given that the judge is copacetic.
I did manage to get through to Mr. Chacma to see how he was doing. He was calm but the moment I brought up MDMN, he became unhinged again. I steered clear of the topic...well until I was ready to hang up. Then I told him I thought MDMN was a huge scam that had cost shareholders big but that I felt they would recoup some of the stolen shares from the scam artist Les Price. Mr. Chacma came unglued. I really need to stop toying with his emotions about MDMN - what does the board think?
(1) Should I stop poking Mr. Chacma or...
(2) Keep up the prodding.
I sort of feel bad for Mr. Chacma. I really think he needs to see a professional but unfortunately, it appears that IDIOT won't be able to provide for him much longer.
*** Mr. Chacma Update ***
I received a call from Mr. Chacma this morning. For those who don't know, he is my former financial advisor who advised me to purchase as many MDMN shares as I could even though the price was collapsing.
He appeared to be in better spirits than last time we spoke and appeared sober. In broken English, he chided me for not buying more MDMN down at $0.005; after all, the price has almost doubled. He cursed at me several times when I told him that Les was in deep trouble and it appeared management was doing right by shareholders. He became more irate when I indicated that it appeared his previous premise that management was throwing good money after bad was completely debunked and that the money spent had already yielded positive results. But what really put him over the edge was when I mentioned that the counter suits Les had filed against MDMN were without merit and completely frivolous. I explained that Les Price was a known charlatan and fraudster who had fleeced MDMN shareholders and ballooned the share count to nearly 3 Billion shares. I also told him MDMN was an insider share-selling enrichment scheme. Mr. Chacma became furious and began cursing. I also heard him open a bottle of what I believe was Jamison Whiskey and begin to drink. His English was incredibly garbled and he was beginning to slur his speech but I was able to pick up the following words "Les...Price...is above reproach...and has...never done wrong...by the shareholders...I plan...on...buying...at...these levels...oxycodone...more booze..."
The line went dead shortly thereafter although I did hear those strange chicken and goat noises again. I don't think Mr. Chacma is at all well. I called the local police and I believe they are going to do a wellness visit. Will keep everyone posted.
Kevin is actually taking his job seriously and making headway on cleaning up the mess that Les Price left. He isn't throwing good money after bad as some have suggested, but appears to be methodically going after targets that will net positive results. I have to give props to the new management team here, they are doing right by the shareholders.
FYI, Mr. Chacma called me today in a drunken rage right after the news hit. He firmly believes that this will be detrimental to MDMN and cause them to lose even more money. I tried to convince him that we should at least wait and see but he was having none of it. Before the phone went dead, I heard another loud crash and what sounded like a chicken fighting with a goat. I have to assume that either he purchased another glass coffee table and consequently destroyed it or tossed some livestock through his floor to ceiling windows in a booze-fueled temper tantrum.
No I'm insinuating that you didn't know given the context of your posts. MDMN is a minority stakeholder in Auryn and wields no power. MDMN is a shell, a scam, a useless company that will be jettisoned when the time is right.
What he's trying to explain to you is that 26% is a minority interest in Auryn. MDMN doesn't have a say in what happens to Auryn, they simply do not have enough control to make a difference.
Not when it comes to investing...you are supposed to...enjoy the fruits...of your...investments...not die...waiting for a turd...to kill tou
I sincerely hope that the fraudsters who perpetrated this scam are brought to justice. Nothing makes me happier than watching con artists go to jail. The perp walk is such a glorious sight to behold. If you can't get the perp walk, saddling these con men with huge fines and bank levies for the rest of their lives is a suitable alternative. Their lives should be ruined as penance for all the shareholder lives they ruined through their criminal acts.
