Trying to find the balance between being the person my dog thinks I am and the people our parents warned us about.

As of last 10K Borivoje Vukadinovic and Gary Agron owned 82% of the stock.
This will be worth the wait. Been in since 2015
$0.50+ would be good. Did well on ITXN, HKEB and HPQC in the past year each of which went up at least 5X.
Ask just went to .14 so you are ahead of the game if the bid comes up or you can sell at the ask.
I'll be taking a second look. The troubled asset ratio in the past kept me from looking at this seriously. Did they have a fire sale the past year or just finally bite the bullet and write off the REO?
Beat me to that by 5 minutes. LOL. Ditto. Have shares on open market since 2015. Let's see what happens today.
Very Southern and very traditional! We had ham with the grits 'n greens. May still consider some Hoppin' John for tomorrow for a double whammy of good luck. And we still have Chinese New year on January 28 - lot of good eats there.
With interest rates going up and the possibility of eased regulations, we might want to take a look at some still shaky banks with low PPS.
Hope everyone had their favorite new year's good luck food today. We went with a more "northernly" dish of baked cheese grits and greens this year. Although it is Southern, we usually have posole verde, so that's "north" to us!
Vodka for breakfast is even better. Mix it with your OJ (or grapefruit juice) for some vitamin C or make a Bloody Mary for vitamins A & C. Ditto cranberry juice for vitamin C and a host of anti-oxidants. Extra bonus in that the juice portion of each drink will meet a 5-a-day fruit/vegetable requirement. Cheers!
Yep. Haven't thought about that board in years. Hard to believe I signed up in '96 over there.
Happy New Year fellow bankanistas!
And the tail, too! But there is some risk of being on the tail end of a bull such as unexpected material events.
We would be genii - the "-us" is always replaced by "i" in second declension masculine nouns from what I remember. We might need to work on that genii thing...
Yep, 2017 better be prepared! We are a motley crew of bankanistas and bank-a-holics and we are coming to take 2017 by the horns!
As soon as I can shake some of those little round copper coins free from the Florida Retirement System! Need to save the first ones for a fishing license.
Meanwhile, I have my "honey do" and personal projects lists to get started on.
Thanks. He also gets us up and going at http://investorshub.advfn.com/The-Bank-Recovery-Room-26693/
Scary thing is that Bill Clinton mused about that, too. And, Putin gamed his own system to get a third term. Cuba and North Korea also have presidents-for-life. There's a pattern here on the Left that just ain't Right!
Thanks. Will do. Worked my last day of the traditional have-to-go-to-work, 40-hr work week last Thursday. New life ahead.
Thanks Salty. I'll have to check out more of their music. Hope Santa was good to you and brought you some killer fishing lures.
"As President Obama concludes his reign of error, his party is smaller, weaker and ricketier than it has been since at least the 1940s." Not necessarily a bad thing.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a profitable New Year!
Right on the money with that one. After being in and around several colleges starting as a student in 1972 and as a staff member/adjunct faculty thru this month, I have seen higher education, what was once one of America's greatest institutions, go slowly down the drain. However misdirected, even in the '70s the Left would at least fight police and hurl Molotovs, instead of having cry-ins. Many of my dad's generation served (he served from Jan 1941- Jan 1972) and then were able to go to college on the GI Bill when our universities still taught something relevant and useful. Many of those guys came from humble backgrounds and went on the be captains of industry in what we call today the C-Suite. They not only saved our and Europe's freedoms, they went on to build the great economy we have today. Sadly, many of today's students do not have those qualities.
As I packed up my office this week for the journey to retirement, I am heartened by the fact that the only weenies I'll have to deal with in the future will be the ones I put on the grill.

I get the impression that the old company is gone and with new investors (Wagenhals) they have overhauled the company, close the bricks & mortar store in Austin and are now solely eCommerce
RTRO is basically a clean shell with low OS (14+ million) and low float (2.5 million) and keeps up their SEC filings. I see that the new director Wagenhals has a pretty good track record as an entrepreneur and creating/selling companies.
You're welcome. Came across your post in a search to see if this has popped up on anyone's radar.
Maybe not NEWG, but looks like RTRO going to do something again - https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1015383/000107997316001356/reto_8k.htm
I usually have 2 or 3 that I set aside and sit on for awhile as long as they keep filing their SEC reports

Hola bankanistas! https://www.yahoo.com/news/big-short-star-nailed-financial-122134772.html This an higher interest rates might help some of our small banks.
Thanks. I'll check it out.
Doubt it. Probably good timing. What other public companies does Wilbur Ross own shares in?
Close encounters. Took 88 from Albany to Binghamton to pick up I-81. Back early next year. Maybe we can have a couple of Gennies!
Happy Thanksgiving from Albany, NY!!!
From E*trade in response to my inquiry "DTC shows that the anticipated payment date for this reorganization is 11/22/2016. Based on this information we would expect to be paid by the company tomorrow. Once we receive the payment we will distribute it into your account."
LOL. Mail it to her. Maybe even splurge for cheap frame at Walmart.
