Today is the day the offer expired. Did anyone take the offer? Also, I just spoke with my Scottrade branch to gain a little more clarity on the reorg/tender offer but they just told me that I should sign some papers so that I will get shares once the bankruptcy is completed. Can someone please fill me in on what this offer really means? I apologize for my ignorance. I am a young investor and I am still learning a lot about everything.
What do I need to do to join?
When is the soonest we will see a settlement?
Will anything related to stock be discussed today?
So was there no objection today?
So is the EC going to start making stuff happen in the courtroom on Tuesday or will we have to wait until April 6th?
If that is a quote, why is it translated with such poor English?
Sorry but what is ARCA?
Should that be exiting?
If we had the funds, this board could totally take over that case that case. Unfortunately, we wont see that kind of money until the case is over and won. Talk about irony. Good job everyone on all the research.
Someone should call and put it on speakerphone and broadcast it on justin.tv
Why don't we just send them fsshon instead?
Im a youngin' but I am still in for the ride.
What are the odds of it going to .40? And when? Anyone have an idea?
Thanks in advance.
When are these PR's taking place?
What do you mean don't believe? I very much believe, and my shares will vouch for that. I just want to hear opinions because I am a young investor.
What are opinions on what is expected to happen on this Friday the 26th? I would really like to hear what people think.
That is correct travelmile, and that is why I see your point as valid.
And that proves my point. Because that was a crime, probable cause is allowed to be used. In a traffic violation it is not.
This is a faulty analogy. They were acting on probably cause. Probable cause only works on crimes. A traffic violation is not a crime.
Can any body argue that wamu is really not going to fight for the win? If not I would say Travel has a point. Its not good news but just because it isn't does not mean it should be neglected.
If the settlement gets worked out in favor of wamu shareholders will the money just be used to buy out and pay off the common shareholders or will wamu stay alive to keep further invested into? If both of these outcomes are possible, which one is more likely?
I understand. I have learned a lot from the majority of the people posting on here but I agree 100% about making sure I take advice with a grain of salt. It always pays to think.
Thanks, I will probably be sticking to commons. It just makes the most sense to me, right now at least.
Thanks wamook and ryanngina that cleared things up for me a lot. I know understand the benefit of purchasing the preferred stock. I am not sure if I will but I am very glad that I know more about it now.

Thanks for the insight and encouragement. I am really enjoying researching WaMu. I must admit some of this stuff is way over my head, but I think I am catching on and I feel pretty confident with my decisions.
I have a little over 1000 shares. Im a really young investor. I am very tempted to bump it up to 3000.
You really think its an 85% success? That would be great. And $12 a share? That would also be great. Fill me in why you think so.. I would like hear more about that.
Should I buy ZAGG today?
Is wamu a long term or short term investment?
Should I buy today? I have been waiting on wamuq. Is the day I should buy?
