That's all I can find too. You might think that by going up .39 today that "signs" are good news ahead. Would love to see 6.00 in the near future.
When will earnings be posted?
No CVR
For anyone not yet hearing if Lundbeck made the CVR payout. I contacted Pale Holm Olesen and he replied that the threshold of $100M was 475 DKK which is about $71M, so no payout. For 2016, the sales number for Northera needs to be $200M to trigger a CVR payout.
Good. Thanks.
Like your optimism. Other than getting financials up to date, what makes you think a monster breakout is coming?
I contacted Lundbeck (who bought CHTP) to see what metrics would trigger a CVR payout. They wrote back and said that the 50 cent per share payout would occur if Northera reached 100M USD in sales in 2015, 200M in 2016 and 300 M in 2017 respectively. Sales numbers would be for each year ending December 31, and it would be in February when it would be determined if milestones were met.
Like everyone I am confused and taken back by this weeks losses. However, every resource that I have researched have all said that SUNE is still projected to have a price target in the $35-$36 range. No one has an answer as to why the downturn has happened but oil prices seem to be a common topic. Most are saying renewable energy will continue to grow 20-30% annually and SUNE is either first or second on their list. Too late to sell now, but I was and still am long so looking for a climb back up.
I have 2k. Latest PT $35, and it keeps adjusting upward every two months. Bought at $17 so have done well but am staying long. A friend who is CEO of a 2B CoGen company knows people at SUNE and says they are on the right track and are the real deal. Solid company and solar will continue to grow especially in third world countries.
When is CHTP supposed to declare if it met milestone to trigger first of three possible performance based payouts? July?
What is the current status of MACK being bought out? Any real info or just speculation?
I'm long on THLD mainly because all of the ratings give them a Price Target of anywhere from $12.50 to $14.50 (MLV) - $15.00 (Piper). Does anyone have any words of wisdom about when we can expect the big jump. How can so many analysts have such large expectations without some good info about their future products.
Tried to buy in today through TD but it is in chill. Can sell but not buy. Anyone know any details about what is going on?
Nice. Shows DigitalAlly as a primary camera. Hope this goes big the next few weeks.
Well now, that is interesting news. Someone posted a few weeks that they talked to Chris and he said to expect some big news around mid-November. That probably means end of November or December since things are never as advertised. After holding TGGI for over 3 years you can say that I am in for the long term, however, am still waiting for movement. Anybody have any current or encouraging news?
Anyone have a best-case senario about what the optimum outcome could be. Like, what if Altice buys PT, what would that likely do to share price of OIBR? Or, what if Altice does not? Also, is there any approximate time frame for buy out to occur?
Is there a target date for FDA approval?
Tired of holding and watching it go down and down. On paper four analysts have an average price target if nearly $13 but by staying at 3, keeps me from making some good money in a good market after the correction seems to be over. I had 20,000 shares at $4.10. Sold 10,000 3 weeks ago and just sold last 10,000 today. I have put the money into some good stocks that have done well the last week with good projections. Made 2k today on reinvesting today's sell and 3k so far on reinvesting the first sell. Still hoping for THLD to turn around but I'm afraid it won't be until 2015. Hopefully I can make some money during the rest of 2014 and be in a position to buy again when it looks ready. Don't want to miss a big move up and will keep monitoring.
Four analysts that I follow all have CBI in the $80-90 range. Puzzling!
Just tried to buy 1000 shares of MNKD thru TD and a notice came up that said that this security has special margin requirements. Sounded like a warning before I buy so I didn't execute the order. Does anyone know what this means?
Thanks for sharing your sources. I had 4 of the 5. I used 11.00 for CNN Money since that was their median. I saw 16.25 as their high but didn't want to inflate and took the median PT. As I said the average of all 4 came out to 8.02 which certainly is below what the potential seems to be. I liked the Sierra World PT of 18.50. Looks like they redid their PT since they mention the recent BO. I also agree with Noemotionseller that you need to look at all factors. As an aside, THLD has a PT of 12.92, from same 4 analysts with a low of 12.00 and a high of 14.17. THLD closed at 4.17 yesterday so on paper THLD seems to have a better growth potential than MNKD. Just trying to get as many opinions that are out there.
Who gave the $16 Price Target? I'm long and am planning for the best, but the 4 analysts that I look to for PT have an average of 8.02 with a low of 2.50 and high of 11.00. In spite of the average being low, I still think it has greater potential.
Bought today at $8.10. Bought originally at $7, sold a few weeks ago at $9, now back in at $8. Seems potential is there but moving cautiously.
With the Market down 311 points today, THLD increased .02. Maybe the four analysts that I mentioned a few days ago that had an average Price Target of $12.92 may be on the right track. Still a lot of things need to go right, but small increases are fine with me.
Don't give up just because someone likes to bash. If you don't like his comments - ignore him. We need honest dialog, pro or con, so post your beliefs. I am long but honestly don't know what the future is for MNKD, so I like to hear all points.
What you said is how I see MNKD also. The potential is too great to not have some patience with this stock.
Great article about MNKD. If you are trying to understand the potential this stock has, then this is a must read. Just added 2000 shares today before I read the article.
Yahoo just increased Price Target to $14.17 from $12.90. Average of four major ratings is $12.92. Highest is $14.17, lowest is $12.00. Analysts must think something is going to happen.
Latest Price Targets for THLD. Yahoo $12.90; Investors.com $12.00; NAS $12.50; CNN Money $13.00; Brean Capital $15.00
What about THLD as another iron in the fire?
Nice post but I see that it was first posted on 3/9/14. Is your analysis still relevant today?
KingDMC - I followed your comments that you posted a couple of months ago that MNKD would do well around July. I researched MNKD and bought 3000 shares for $7.40. Happy that I did as I'm up 10k. Any thoughts about where this will go? Any insight about the next MNKD? Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Thanks for your very informative information as well as others on the board who have been helpful. I called Invisfree M&A this am and they were very helpful. I then called my broker who placed the transfer. I took the 6.44 plus the possible .50/year for 3 years thinking that has a better chance to make more money than selling for another .10 today. I had 10,000 shares so I could make up to $15,000 versus $1,000 today. Only time will tell.
Don't know anything about tendering shares. Why should I tender. What happens if I just keep all my shares. Why shouldn't I just sell them if I want to cash out. If I keep my shares will I get the .50 per share for the CVR and loose it if I tender. What's the difference between tendering and selling. Please excuse if this sounds too elementary but I have never had a tender offer. I just buy and sell.
If the $1.50 CVR was added to the $6.44 for $7.94 I would think that would be a low but reasonable offer. Even then, with all of the talk from analysts looking at $10, $12 range, an $8 offer would be the minimum low ball. However, the $1.50 is 3 years away, so practically speaking we have to consider $6.44 which is far too low. A lot can happen in 3 years. Anyone looking at MACK?
Also added. The bottom has to be close. Several PT are above $30, so may now have potential to 2X.
CLDX Very disappointing based on analysts targets of $30+. I was listening to CNBC while driving around 3:00 today and one guy said that a big name company (he said who but I can't remember who) analyst set a price target of $90 for a biotech that is currently around $20. The company is currently valued at $350M and analyst said he sees 2B based on a new drug that is in the pipeline. The name sounded something like "Expedia" but it isn't the travel company. Anyone know who they were talking about? This may be an offset from CLDX losses.
Merger-Player : Read your comments and hope you are on target. Sounds like you have some basis to believe what you said. I have 100,000 shares that I bought based on potential that I thought was going to happen. Right now I'm down due to last two weeks but am staying long for future gains. Hope we start to see some upward movement soon.
We all want this stock to take off ever since the FDA approval. I look at it this way, unless you are averaged higher than $5.68 you have lost nothing. My average is $5.00 for 20k, so I am ahead on paper $13,600. I am looking for a bigger profit than that but I'll take anything that's more than I put in. Many analysts are still saying $8-$10 which is what I want it to be, but we need patience to wait until we find out what's going on.
I'm patient having bought at .0001, but am curious what "news" some are anticipating. Is this general news that the company seems to be moving upward with M&A, CYBK, etc, or is there some big news coming that with drive the stock into the .001s? If so, anyone care to elaborate.
In addition to Yahoo at $9.17 and Nasdq at $8, JPM has CHTP price target at $12, DB has a target of $8 and Oppenheimer has a high of $12 and a low of $8.
