Thanks to CTY and everyone for all the info/updates-eom
Thanks cty eom
SA bash and pump and sell....then do it again...imho glta
I agree with REETALA -- i expect that things are going well but that a lot of time and money are needed...I expect to hear: re ipo, move to Nasd, P2 to start soon, blah blah blah imho
thanks Chuck eom
aye/Lasers et al --approval in UK and/or other country long before FDA approval\\imho
meetings over several days indicates a sales pitch to investors to raise cash. My guess is to sell shares/ re ipo and then uplist. imho
great post cty of Alpha article on blood-thanks
I agree and am counting on some greed on the part of mgt that have tons of shares to get the most they can for them.
I am counting in part on human nature and the fact that mgt -Wotton et al- will want to create shareholder value == perhaps not for me but for themselves. No matter how many free shares and options they get, limiting dilution is in their best financial interest. imo
I believe they will shake the tree so that cheap shares fall into their hands and then sell when there is a spike. And then do it again. The pps has also been effected by naked shorting, retail investors selling for a profit on the last spike, ongoing dilution and potential dilution. I do believe that the Phase two starting, the animal studies, blood program, moving to Nasd, and a JV for one of the programs is not that far down the road. I also believe that mgt will try to limit dilution as best they can --one reason being to keep their ownership percentage in tact. All imhoglta
Killtoy--that is the way it should work but does not always. The exec s have lined their pockets already and the BOD gets shares every three months for free. In my experience this is what I have seen. The shares or options are awarded usually based on level (mg director vp)
and years of service. eg mgr gets 10k shares vp gets 20k both vested after 1 or 2 or more years. Typically, if they get their performance reviews and get a rating of fair or good or outstanding -- in any case they keep their shares. Again, this is what happened at several companies I worked for and may be different for ACTC but I doubt it. Performance usually reflects promotions, salary increases and bonus but not shares awarded. imo
Dancing mice video would be nice
Interstate-this may also be the shortest/smallest rally on record..glta
collaborations are mentioned as opposed to what we have been hearing---shelf filing, go it alone on rpe, dilution, phase two requires 2 years and such, discount to large investors. Collaboration is the first word I have heard this week that bodes well for the near future and little guy like me--months not years. I am grateful to hear collaboration. a ray of sunshine in a dark week. All imho
Reetala thanks for posting...a must read with the mention of "collaboration" glta
I have to vote yes on share increase to keep us going....but wotton needs to jv on Phase 2 period!!!!!imo
I expect nothing new from the cc and perhaps no Q and A. I would LOVE a big announcement/JV but my high hopes (maybe unrealistic) have been crushed too many times. Still long and hope I am very wrong. imo glta
Thanks for the lesson -- sounds like good advice. Perhaps now I will stop banging my head against the wall. gltu and all
Thanks I am on fifteen minute delay
a lot of people bought over the past days, weeks expecting an article. Some of the impact of this article is already built into the pps. The question of what is said at 430 today is what is on my mind now? I am looking for a spike and the cc keeping some of the sellers at bay. all imho glta
why 27 dollars - thanks
Stopping the progress of the disease is also a big win. glta
Enough with the stock awards to execs who have yet to produce results and by results I mean the pps. (excluding Lanza) Awards should be given for success and NOT for showing up and making promises. jmho
I am holding for a big move up and then continued growth for years to come. I believe the mgt now in place will do well for us all. imho
Ellysse--15k plus expenses (not sure what that is) seems silly for a company selling shares to lincoln at a discount and asking for 22.5mm more shares. That is more than 2000 shares (todays pps) in dilution to get cash from lincoln. I have never received a call about a proxy from any other company in 35 years of investing in a variety of them. 2000 shares is not a lot but I want them to conserve the shares and use them wisely. Calling me is a waste of money.jmho
Shareholders are being called by a private company paid $15,000 to ask shareholders to vote with no request to vote a certain way.
DavidS Hoping for a fast track, especially in the UK. I want my steak while I can still chew it. glta
Thanks Chuck--Lanza doing something for Ebola crossed my mind but I have NO scientific background and the thought is pure wishful thinking on my part. It would be a gift to the world and get his science/pipeline to market sooner. a win win win--all imho
Elysee--I am with you on this...and expect that the mgt team put in place this past year will "talk less and do more". Wotton, Lanza, Ted, Langer, Matt V are an excellent substitute for the likes of Rabin- the failed west coast restaurateur. I do expect some dilution but hopefully not too many of the 22mm shares they requested (if approved) will actually be used. I have stood long for a few years and expect good things "soon" and the sooner the better. ihmo
i have no respect for sa, I have to believe that Sa folks know well in advance that their article will hurt or help the stock and that someone can make a quick buck shorting and or trading this stock. Some may call it nonsense--I call it people being very opportunistic. All imo
Last week SA bashed the pps down---they bought --- now its time to pump and dump all imho
Drs get a copy at noon today---electronic delivery to subscribers 5pm today... draw your own conclusions from the pps late this afternoon glta
Jonny--I share your anger and frustration. My wife went off to her job that sucks the life out her and she asked how the stock was doing== I answered "about the same"....a little white lie. I have been through years of "tantalizing results" and "buying opportunities" --- NOW, light the f.....g rocket
Clicking on SA promotes more trash articles--imo totally ignore and never give them a click
If not green today--then soon. imo
I will not click on SA, the articles are self serving, manipulative and inaccurate. They bait actc investors and scare some investors into selling. Adam F...stein writes this trash to make a few bucks. Some have written that he has a relationship with brokers that short the stock. The SA editor imo is only interested in getting clicks. All imho
CELLs--GE may or may not be involved. My understanding is that the surgical procedure should be as or less complicated than Laser surgery --which blossomed quickly and is now very common. Lanza and company have developed pre-loaded syringes to deliver the stem cells, simplifying matters greatly. Producing the cells and syringes is where GE stands a good chance of playing a role. I do not believe GE has the same resources at this time in terms of pharma reps, relationships with drs/hospitals or credibility as a J&J or Roche or other big pharmas. A GE may want a bigger role but I believe ACTC's interests are served better by having GE manufacture --something they do well--and having a J&J or Roche take care of the rest. All imho
Cells==big pharma brings distribution and training capabilities, FDA clout, deep pockets, credibility in the medical field, great lawyers to defend patents, stamp of approval for big investors and Wall St...and more in my opinion
simply put, they will sell shares to raise cash--how many remains to be seen. They are asking to raise the number of authorized shares to 60 million from the current 37mm. They can sell none some or all (probably not going to happen) to large investors (usually at a discount). This will create some dilution but may help us get on the Nasd, attract non-dilutive capital over time, attract many new investors. Nothing to fear, your shares are the same as today. others may be able to clarify a bit more than this. Hope this helps gltu
