"The program has options for CERDEC to provide additional funding for continued development upon the successful completion of Phase Two."
Sounds promising -- when will Phase Two be complete?
Will the additional funding be measured in millions?
Hey MOD WAKL -- Don't be so swayed by your new title: Moderation in pursuit of Manhattans is no virtue.
See? You were too moderate, so you got a bug. Now you have to pickle that bug.
Dr. LW recommends a pitcher of Manhattans on your veranda in the Florida sun.
Then we look forward to your unique, if sometimes opaque, perspective on PSPW.
PSPW's newest PR makes it big in today's Wall Street Journal:
I see that Wakl wrote an article for the Wall Street Journal today, under the pseudonym Kevin Sintumuang.
It's on the front page of the Off Duty section: "The Manhattan Project".
I'm sure that his DD research for this article accounts for some of his posts.
"Take a sip. It's not a race -- just a sip. Now savor. Cinnamon. Oak. Vanilla. Mint. Cornbread. Dark cherries, even. The flavors of the Manhattan seem to go on forever. Crazy good, huh?..."
And so it goes -- most of page one, and all of page two. A major PR, indeed.
Wakl never mentions his secret Walbanian variation, available only to PSPW investors.
Apparently "3Power" is code for the three power ingredients: whiskey, vermouth, a dash of bitters.
We knew we were investing in PSPW for renewable energy. We just didn't realize what form it would take.
When Wakl is sufficiently "renewed", maybe we will get a further explanation of his PR.
Part of the incentives depended on meeting annual targets, if I recall correctly from the government version of the PR. I suspect that at least the jobs target was missed.
But Arista should be able to meet the remaining requirements if they are successful with the military:
"Under Phase One of the REDUCE program, Arista Power will deliver a demonstration of the system in approximately 3 to 6 months at CERDEC. The program has a Phase Two option for CERDEC to provide additional funding for continued development upon the successful completion of Phase One."
Will Phase Two bring in a lot more funding than Phase One?
Most likely Arista has non-military contracts pending as well.
Looking forward to future PRs!
You are right that it is important to see the real terms.
For instance, when a previous PR said that Arista was getting all this money from the County, the details from the County said that Arista would have to jump through hoops that proved to be impossible at that time.
Sometimes the devil is in the details, and sometimes the right hand giveth and the left hand taketh away.
PSPW forms very simple networks of energy sources -- windmills, solar panels, hydro, and geothermal -- and connects them to the electricity distribution system. If a distribution node goes down, nothing connected to the grid in that area can function until the node is fixed.
I am glad that you have discovered EFT as a way of getting a deep healing tune-up. EFT (www.eftuniverse.com) and Healing Codes (http://thehealingcodes.com) are two of the “energy therapy” methods that I have successfully experienced and recommend. They are ways of accessing the energy network in the human body, which functions alongside the nerve, blood, lymph, and hormone networks.
PSPW is going to become more and more of a utility company, responsible for delivering energy to the end-user. If a distribution energy node is not functioning properly, and PSPW fixes it, all of a sudden everything connected to it can function again, and the end-users will be happy with PSPW.
This is what the various energy therapies do – they fix the malfunctioning energy nodes in our bodies, so the energy can be delivered and do its work. Both EFT and Healing Codes are so simple, and have a history of such quick healing of veterans’ PTSD and many other emotional and physical ailments, that they seem almost miraculous – like a distribution node that PSPW fixes, and suddenly everything works.
Or it’s like when you have a code in da node, and all of a sudden it clears up, and we can understand your English again. With Wakl it seems to work in reverse – his Walbanian Manhattans make it harder and harder to understand his “English”, until eventually only Sweetwop’s Cracker Jack decoder ring can help us.
Manhattans will have to be re-named "Sweet Waristas" with you and Wakl back on board.
Wakl won't want to insult anyone, so he'll have to drink his Sweet Waristas and his Walbanians and his Manhattans. Then you'll have to bring back your decoder ring for sure!
BTW, did you notice that on another board Wakl actually wrote something in English? I double-checked the name, and it said Wakl, but maybe it was an imposter? It was early afternoon, and his wife must have been keeping a close eye on him. Maybe he can fool her, that he's just having a Sweet Warista, not a Manhattan?
SS is a screen name for Donald Trump?
With PSPW, maybe some day you can take over for him.
Then buy CSTI and fire them.
PSPW rules!
Wakl's Manhattans are re-named: "Walbanians". They flow like a river, so he has to get an early start to keep up with them.
Soon PSPW's share price will flow like that, but UPWARD!
Wakl's in for "Walbanians" to replace "Manhattans". That means that, for him, they flow like the river -- high volume continually.
We may need your help interpreting his posts. Waklhattan was bad enough, but Walbanian sounds even more difficult.
Does that include a factor for the wind not blowing all the time, sun not shining all the time, maybe the river flows are not at capacity all the time?
Even at a third of your number, that's enough to keep Wakl in Manhattans most of the time. But he'll have to re-name them to "Albanians".
It's good to have you here, Windchime, adding your touch of civilized restraint to a sometimes-feisty board!
A Happy New Year of blessings to you and yours!
Thanks for turning me on to PSPW!
Happy New Year to you and yours, sir!
Wakl, YOU are the one to go to PSPW HQ and get those NUMBERS and info:

Why did Seawind etc. need 3Power in the first place? -- I asked
"Financing for there pipeline of projects" -- rookiecrd1
"I always thought it was Seawind that was courted, 3Power needed Seawind, 1, to legitimize the company, Rudana was well aware of its stigma from prior penny stock involvement, I thought #Power needed a legitimate partner for this to have any success.
And it broadens the fields in which Seawind was working in, adding solar polar to the mix, and apparently now, Biomass???" -- sctts
Thanks for your replies. It will be interesting to watch it unfold in 2012.
Why did Seawind etc. need 3Power in the first place?
What constructive purpose could there be in wanting a shell in the pennies, where there is such a lack of regulation, and lies and illegal acts and market manipulation generally rule?
Please allay my suspicions. TIA!
Yes, I bought 5,000 at $.39 this morning, and I liked seeing it had already gone to $.43. Then I saw that was only 120 shares, and nothing since! Oh well, I didn't buy it for today.
Long PSPW!
Did you mean that Arista has added a local company to their "Pending Sales" list, and that you saw a WindTamer on its way to them?
Please explain whose company, whose Pending list, and whose turbine? It would be good to know where the action is, and whether your post indicates that Arista isn't dead yet?
You said: "Another local company is now on the list for "Pending". I saw their turbine on a trailor at Volvo Rents in Henrietta two weeks ago so we need to get going."
Who is the new competitor -- Brock again?
100,000 options at a dime each granted to Molly Hedges, Acting CFO and VP of Finance.
"The Option vests 34,000 shares on November 22, 2012 and 33,000 shares on each of November 22, 2013 and November 22, 2014."
Probably this is in lieu of salary to keep one of their better people, but what is happening?
At a dime each, these are worth only $3,000 to her at the moment. Maybe something big is going to pop the PPS?
Still no money from sales? Less than 6 weeks to hit that "$15-$25 million".
How about a PR for the rest of us?
"one-for-twenty reverse stock split" announced
Merle, That's the best article so far on the system and how and why. Like a good infomercial or the start of a whitepaper.
Now if they could only get the whole world to read it, we would be on NASDAQ.
They didn't mention the problem of windmills chopping the air into pieces.
We will have to re-learn how to breathe -- in short gasps.
30 below zero and winds up to 110 mph = wind chill of ???
Altitude of road up to 15,000 ft, installation 13,000 feet. A little hard to catch your breath for physical work -- likewise for equipment engines.
Many nationalities and languages to be coordinated.
Now we know why it took them 4 years to get to the point in the video!
For NASDAQ! What a great idea!
I was trying to figure out why they would do this, and I guess my paranoia took over. I like your answer a LOT better.
It seemed like your answer is the way it should be, but it's nice to know for sure. If I were one of you sophisticated high-flyers with options and warrants and whatever else is out there, I wouldn't have had to ask the dumb question. So why don't you give me some? You could call it a longevity bonus for all of us who have hung in there so long. Probably aren't too many of us, so it wouldn't break the bank.
For options granted at certain price levels, what would be the effect of the reverse split?
For instance, it appears that 20 shares at a dime could be worth one share at $2.00. If an officer or director had options at $0.40, would his option be adjusted to $8.00, or would he be able to buy a $2.00 share for $0.40?
Interesting. Written in early 2005, so it's an indication of the trend at that time. Maybe it's even more so today.
Wind Tamer exists. Sky Wolf is a drawing and a wish. IMO
ASPW
Could be the Italian financial sector is in big trouble along with the Italian government, and couldn't deliver after all?
35 documents, 423pp.
Should be some interesting details hidden in there, if you can find them.
Even if you rationed yourself to one Manhattan for every 5 pages, that's 85 Manhattans. It may take you a while to analyze it all for us, especially from under the table.
Maybe Sweet and Beach will "help".
But that was the window of his CAR, and he was driving 85 mph, so it must have been a tailwind of 15-20 mph.
Del, Thanks for the good summary of the situation.
A lot of the material and attitudes that you object to is because many of us bought into a company that was strictly a wind company at that time.
But “Arista is about Power On Demand and military now, not wind turbines,” as Jersey Dude points out in post #5422. So we all need to shift gears, and most of the contentious topics will drop away. Further development and paying for testing of WindTamer seems unlikely. POD sales probably don’t depend on whether it’s a few percent more efficient.
Why is wind part of the mix at all any more?
Is the Fed 30% tax credit only available with wind?
Is it because wind is necessary to complete the military trailers?
Anybody know why heat or cold would cause a conventional power plant to shut down?
“this episode illustrates how common forced outages are at conventional plants, and drives home the point that no power plant is available 100% of the time.”
As Texas utility system is stressed, wind generation shows up on schedule
It's been touch-and-go again for the Texas utility system in the past day or two as a record heat wave bakes the state, but wind generation has shown up at levels above what was planned for, helping to keep the air conditioners running and the lights on.
As happened in February during an unexpected freezing spell, the stresses on the system appear to result from outages of conventional power plants during a peak demand period. Some 3,000 MW of generating capacity (enough to serve the equivalent of 600,000 homes during high demand periods, or around 2.5 million homes during normal use), apparently conventional power plants, were out of service yesterday.
According to a blog article by Elizabeth Souder of the Dallas Morning News, "The high temperatures also caused about 20 power plants to stop working, including at least one coal-fired plant and natural gas plants." Souder noted that a spokesman for the Electricity Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), the company that manages system operations, "said such outages aren't unusual in the hot summer, and Texas is getting some juice from surrounding states and from Mexico."
Meanwhile, some 1,800 MW of wind generation were available yesterday, more than double the 800 MW that ERCOT counts on during periods of peak summer demand for its long-term planning purposes. 1,800 MW is enough to power about 360,000 homes under the very high electricity demand seen yesterday.
AWEA Manager of Transmission Policy Michael Goggin commented, "Like the Texas blackouts in February in which cold weather caused around 80 mostly fossil-fired power plants to shut down unexpectedly, this episode illustrates how common forced outages are at conventional plants, and drives home the point that no power plant is available 100% of the time. And, unlike wind energy, which ramps down gradually over a sustained period of time and is predictable, conventional power plants fail instantaneously. Wind energy is a valuable tool to diversify our portfolio of energy resources and make it more reliable. Wind plants are keeping the lights on and the air conditioners running for hundreds of thousands of homes in Texas."

You are referring to Sky Wolf Wind Turbines.org, a domain registered in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal? http://www.madeira-island.com/
Não, senhor?
Perhaps you are referring to the new company at Sky Wolf Wind Turbines.com from your buddy Mr. Brock, who recently raised $30,000, and you want to invest? http://secwatch.com/sky-wolf-wind-turbine-corp/d/form-d/2011/7/20/8937123
The picture does look surprisingly familiar. If I were an experienced patent attorney like yourself, maybe I could render an opinion on what it means for our patents. Do you think that Brock’s new company, funded for $30,000, will put WindTamer out of business? Be sure to let me know how your investment turns out.
What is the true market value?
Maybe the PPS has been artificially supported, by Market Maker or others, at the current level.
Would the company really be able to sell that many shares at 14 cents? I doubt it, or trading would be at a lot higher volume. After the market recovers a bit, I'll bet that 7 cents, double the price, would go over pretty well. Especially if investors had the inside information that these executives and board member have.
But they sure cut themselves a deal. Like the unions donating to the politicians that "negotiate" the union contracts.
I haven't been keeping track of the number of ASPW private placements. You would have to search the records.
Good or bad? Good, if we all can participate in the legitimate growth of the company, IMO. As long as they are not playing games, for these executives and board members to invest seems to indicate that they are putting their money where their mouths are. Mr. Schmitz has been forecasting $15-$25MM sales by 12/31/11, and he just spent more than $600,000. The report says it was "personal funds", and I doubt that the company has any money to lend out, so it probably was. It's always possible that some wealthier person loaned it to him and wants to stay out of view, like Peter Kolokouris, but even that would indicate that he thinks that the company will make money.
I think this latest placement was at 3.5 cents, or a quarter of the price shown by iHub. If they DO make this company go, they will all be multi-millionaires again. It certainly adds to their incentive, since I think the shares are on lockup, possibly for a year?
It's too bad that the share price is set by themselves, in effect, at such an attractive price. With shares selling for 14 cents, what legitimate reason is there to price the shares this low? If they are really confident that the orders are coming, then the risk is not so high.
But if the company really goes big, then we will all make out well. So it could be a lot worse.
All IMO of course, subject to correction by the more-experienced investors and the conspiracy theorists.
OK, you win the Manhattan.
Enough of those and you'll NEED bigger pants.
He must have pockets like yours -- stuffed with so much money that it's a relief to get rid of some. Lets your pants fit better.
Some really good news coming soon?
