I haven't been keeping track of the number of ASPW private placements. You would have to search the records.

Good or bad? Good, if we all can participate in the legitimate growth of the company, IMO. As long as they are not playing games, for these executives and board members to invest seems to indicate that they are putting their money where their mouths are. Mr. Schmitz has been forecasting $15-$25MM sales by 12/31/11, and he just spent more than $600,000. The report says it was "personal funds", and I doubt that the company has any money to lend out, so it probably was. It's always possible that some wealthier person loaned it to him and wants to stay out of view, like Peter Kolokouris, but even that would indicate that he thinks that the company will make money.

I think this latest placement was at 3.5 cents, or a quarter of the price shown by iHub. If they DO make this company go, they will all be multi-millionaires again. It certainly adds to their incentive, since I think the shares are on lockup, possibly for a year?

It's too bad that the share price is set by themselves, in effect, at such an attractive price. With shares selling for 14 cents, what legitimate reason is there to price the shares this low? If they are really confident that the orders are coming, then the risk is not so high.

But if the company really goes big, then we will all make out well. So it could be a lot worse.

All IMO of course, subject to correction by the more-experienced investors and the conspiracy theorists.
