YES! Phaeton for CEO of BEHL!
Thanks Phaeton. Great specific info on the area. The antidote for fear is information!
Et tu, Gummy? Death Vally Junction is near Pahrump, Beatty and the Saline Valley, some of the purest hot springs in the world. And Crystal Geyser bottles their mineral water just south of Bishop, CA near Olancha. And yes, there is water close to the surface of the desert out there. Its actually a beautiful place, especially Saline. I think we all ought to take a trip to the hot springs relax a little! Things are getting too crazy around here!
I have to agree- really weird way to word a PR. I checked past PRs and none were worded that way. Not sure what to think at this point but I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks it is strange to be pleased to announce that the CEO just quit!
No kidding!

Now for our amusement this week we've had exploding pigs, frog choking floods and don't forget the wandering 350 lb CO2 bottle that had to be restrained.

In this week's installment I look forward to a plague of tube-eating locusts and lightening striking the PBR dead! ;} Thank goodness I will be out of town on vacation. If Armageddon happens before I return from Oregon, someone please email me!
Hopefully we will see a PR this week that will either confirm or deny all this banter.
The latest shareholder update says late summer. IMO it can't happen soon enough... maybe it will put an end to the type of posts that have been appearing here the last couple of weeks! I will be there for sure!
Me too! I will be at the next shareholders meeting having an algae beer with you all! ;}
Interesting timing on that dip. Anyone have an insight? Coincidence or not?
I would suggest reading through his posts from beginning to end and drawing your own conclusions. People posting here have there own agendas. We have done our DD and have to trust that. My evaluation of BEHL is based on DD and not on the claims people make on this board.
Ya, lately we've been out there tugging on the leaves of those little plants to get 'em to grow faster! Doesn't quite work that way, does it?
It would hurt less if we could tell them how to spend it....like on algae!
investment |in'ves(t)m?nt|
noun
1 the action or process of investing money for profit or material result
• a thing that is worth buying because it may be profitable or useful in the future
• an act of devoting time, effort, or energy to a particular undertaking with the expectation of a worthwhile result
2 archaic- the surrounding of a place by a hostile force in order to besiege or blockade it.
Choose your definition folks! I invested in BEHL because of the future potential. The key word is future. I think we could all use a little patience right now. It would be SO great if BEHL just took off right now, but I feel it is going to be worth the wait. I do not think someone with a reputation like BG would be involved in a scam or a losing proposition.
PS- definition #2 is interesting considering the last few days of posts...
Agreed. There is a lot of hot air blowing around here and it ain't the Santa Ana winds!
Soylent green...is algae! Great article.
I think that the skill set required to create something great may be different than the one needed to market something great. Hopefully DF and BG compliment each other and all areas are now covered. Regardless of the current PPS, I feel this is a fantastic company and has big potential.
Don't see Palm Springs in his list of posts...must have been in the batch deleted during the last round of naughtiness.
Since you brought up the "fauna" issue...
I have wondered about this for months. I live in SoCal and we frequently camp near Palm Springs. If you bring water in a plastic jug, the dessert critters will chew through the jug to get the water out. How they know it is in there I do not know...I guess they can smell it. Everyone who camps in the desert knows that you keep your water in the car. I am guessing that the BEHL guys know this already. But it is not obvious that the tubes are protected. Anyone out there who has visited Santa Anna and has the answer? Gofer?
Got some at .0087! Whoo Hoo!
Agreed. Our future is only assured by action and completed projects. Potential is one thing but results speak for themselves! My Dad always said he'd rather have 10% of something than 100% of nothing...so let's go for the something. ;}
I LIKE that answer! Good on BEHL!
Ya, it is scary...all processed soy proteins supposedly. Cornucopia recommends contacting the manufacturer to see exactly what they use in their product. Don't want to get off topic here but I think it would be fantastic if BEHL was ahead of the game and addressed this concern so consumers would have a healthy choice. That could set us ahead of other manufacturers.
I have read this too. I was wondering about the pressure cooking extraction method that BEHL was looking at and if that required hexane. It would be great if it didn't because they would havea plant based hexane free product which I think would be the only one out there or one of very few. Seems like hexane is in everything tho...geeze!
When BEHL enters the Omega-3 market the extraction process they choose is going to make a big impact on potential sales. Anything that can be extracted without hexane is going to take off. Obama just signed a bill banning hexane extracted oils and proteins in baby formula. Nearly all oil-based and soy related supplements are extracted with hexane, which has a plethora of health risks associated with it. There are very few truly hexane free products out there and BEHL could capture a big market share right now by supplying one.
How about Greedy Gator Senior!
Who'd have ever thought that algae would be more glamorous than show biz???? ;}
Those boring words are highly significant. They are what will change public opinion of the algae industry. Right now we might be seen as a bunch of tree hugging vegetarian nuts who think they can save the world with pond scum! Truth is that the potential of algae is greater by multiples than that of other biofuels. We have a fantastic CEO, but we still have to be patient while this new paradigm sinks in with the general public. We are surfing the wave of change here! Whoo Hoo!!!
The omega-3 from algae is much purer as it is produced in a pollutant-free environment. Once we are in production I feel algae omegas will totally eclipse fish-based products.
SuperLottoMillionaire was the name of the watch list I first followed BEHL on. Looks like it might be true! ;}
Thanks HULA! We are on our way... And we can watch our algae grow!
A guy like Dr. Goodall is not going to sign on as CEO with a company that is tanking. His reputation is too clean. Let's all sit back and enjoy the ride and give the guy a chance!
Thanks Gofer for being our eyes and ears!
Well here in CA $4 per gallon is on it's way so WHOOPIE BEHL!
Good article RT. Shows here the govt comes into play in all this. Thanks!
Today was the best! Can't wait to see what happens in the AM!
Aw, you are one of us, GummyFuzzy! Good things coming here.
And now we have their shares! ;}
Amen! We have some people here who need to relax...
