I have wondered about this for months. I live in SoCal and we frequently camp near Palm Springs. If you bring water in a plastic jug, the dessert critters will chew through the jug to get the water out. How they know it is in there I do not know...I guess they can smell it. Everyone who camps in the desert knows that you keep your water in the car. I am guessing that the BEHL guys know this already. But it is not obvious that the tubes are protected. Anyone out there who has visited Santa Anna and has the answer? Gofer?
