I'll be launching another dealership in a place where you cant help but bump into a bunch of game show winners (hint). It's an exciting time, but insanely time consuming!

My wife and I will be having dinner this Saturday at the home of the head of one of the largest medical groups here in So Cal and I'd like to give the board here an opportunity to come up with the TOP 3 questions (or talking points) I should address with the good doc (pediatrician).

I also have a meeting with the executive director of donor relations at Shriners coming up in a couple of weeks and I'll be dropping 'V' bombs throughout that conversation as well.

If interested, Can someone get these 3 questions posted here before Sat nite PST?. Maybe in a sticky so their easily accessible since I will not have the time monitor individual posts.

JL - My point is just that. Why not sell both people in the room on V. There is a unique opportunity here (in a typically intimate setting) to do just that. Oh, BTW "Cheat Sheet" = Predetermined list of suggested questions which patient asks the Doc.

Ideally, the questions should be such that both the patient AND the MD are educated simultaneously. Questions should be worded/loaded with two goals in mind. 1. Getting the patient a V script and B. Getting the Docs brain matter wondering why the f he/she's not already on V.

90/120 second rule in effect as the questions should be direct, unambiguous and as inclusive as possible to the patient population. The questions should have a hierarchy so that the most powerful and effective questions are asked first. Obviously, no limit to the amount of questions, but the number that can be asked is typically is limited by the DOC. Most Docs are wearing roller skates these days, so time is of the essence.

As a long time business owner, from time to time, I've had my fair share of "pulling-my-hair-out" circumstances in where I feel muffled or stifled and constrained and just couldn't LEGALLY use a certain message or policy. It's guaranteed that JT feels this way nearly every day - and it's FRUSTRATING! 10x more frustrating when you don't know of, or do not have access to, a remedy. EPA Today can be part of the remedy and offer some relief by making statements that Amarin simply cannot make, but are perfectly legal outside of the corporate setting.

It would be extremely helpful, When writing articles, to ask yourself:

What the heck would JT want to shout out at the top of his lungs here?

And, while we're on the subject, who can name the top three subjects/info that JT would shout the loudest? There's three articles...

Not sure what the "cheat sheet' is...Is this a list of questions the patient asks the doctor...A list of answers the patient gives the doctor? Or simply something we tell the patient on how to deal with the doctor.

I can write anything you give me and make legible as long as it is truthful..Just need to know what you are looking for...Obviously the doctor-patient interaction is very important and we need to take into account that a lot of doctors are going to be parental and some on the defensive side. So this is going to have to be very strong...

It looks like the core idea is !) educate the patient...2)patient persuades the doctor...Number two being the more challenging...I gather you are looking for a script on both of these.. "

Honestly, this was a lark. The site should NOT be pushed or promoted until the most basic of bases are completed. Pls DONT tell your friends about it yet. It's early and they'll think it's shit anyway, so dont bother. This will HURT SEO. Google will immediately determine if ANY site is crap by counting the avg amm of seconds people stay on it once clicked in. People clicking on the site and quickly exiting - IS A DEATH SENTENCE for a website!

Although I have not "formally" asked engines to crawl (far away from that) those engines DO also run on auto-pilot and have probably already noticed our site. Yes, they think it's shit because it is.

I took this on as a lark and am happy to do it as long as there is only 1000% positiveness (is that a word?). I don't do drama and I'm really against whiners and "half-empty'ers".

Here is a perfect example. Although I've not had the chance to keep up with all of the input/suggestions, I have notice that some are hung up on this "all natural" mantra. Concerns here are EXTREMELY valid as gross misstatements can lead me into hot water. Operative word here is "me".
This is not my first rodeo and if legal issues arise, I discuss them with my attorney, in the proper venue, the golf course.

I've addressed the "all natural" in the blurb on the first page:

Read closely, and it's "box" worded more to EXLUDE every other drug on the planet, rather INCLUDE V. It was easier and cleaner to get around any legalities this way. It's dareing some ambulance chaser to go out and do his/her DD, searching the planet for another pure EPA drug that's 1. FDA approved AND B. Was studied in the Reduce-It trial. GL

There is a whole lot that goes into making a site and a site is NEVER done. I've literally spent 1000's of hours building and maintaining my ecommerce business sites and have spent 1000's of hour of research on SEO, and the like, and I still feel only 20% of my work is done.

Sites also must have a personality. It's like a consistent "aura" or theme, if you will, that permeates every page - in a consistant manner. You confuse the viewer and they'll click out in a second. The aura/theme has to also extend to AMARIN and it's management. I personally think JT's a hardworking businessman dodging all sorts of flak while trying to build a multi-billion $ company. This personal feeling of mine is going to weave it's way in and around, but is going to be there.

It must be difficult and frustrating for JT not to be able to scream out how awesome V is. Obviously, his hands are tied by the SEC and other laws that prohibit him from doing what we know he is dying to do. Frustrating for sure. This site wants to do that shouting for him and this is a KEY MISSION GOAL. It's our job to shout those things out that JT can't - legally.

The main "aura" or personality of this site is "helpfulness". We are here to help. The entire site is about help:

Extend your life
Experience a better quality life
Have a happier life
Help you to ask your doc the right questions
Help you help the ones you love by teaching how to inform them
Help you find what coverage you have
Finding coupons or discounts
Understand the mechanism of how V works (without wandering into weeds)

Virtually every page should help the viewer in some way. If the viewer feels the need to click somewhere else to answer one of their unanswered questions, that's a fail. We must answer the what, when why, where and who - in all cases.

It would also help the site if everyone was to add it to their "favorites" folder.

The ultimate goal after the patient asks the questions IS TO HAVE THE DR. SPEED-WRITING a script for him/her self and wondering why in Gods name they didn't start sooner. He/she have now become an advocate.

JL - Your content is up! I put a touch of lipstick on it and I more greatly emphasized the "call to action" (marketing101) you included toward the end - Brilliant!.

If we can just get people pestering their Docs about V, that's a GIANT victory.

Which logically brings me to another asset that should be on the site which is a comprehensive (but concise) list of questions and facts that your average Joe patient can download/print of all of the questions to ask their caregivers during the 90 seconds they see the Doc. Hard hitting, concise, 90 seconds...

Gonna have to figure on how people can submit content other than on this site as it is a bit cumbersome. I'll see if this can be done on the free hosting version now being used or if an upgrade is necessary. In the meantime, everyone should hold on to/perfect the content they wish to have placed.

It's a BS URL, garbaged-up with the promo script from the free hoster, but all free hosters operate this way. At least there's no ads. Pissed it's not got SSL (some do) but the hoster I wanted to use last nite was down with a serious Ddos attack. Jumped ship and grabbed this free hoster - 000webhost.

Decent speed and a decent page builder is what we got. Trying to keep it simple as not to invest copious amounts of time if this was just a flyer.

If this means that you would not be allowed to use *vascepa* anywhere in the URL, but then my entire post is moot, I don't know the legality of it.

I make my own custom url's for my web pages. Free hosting services generally do not allow for that and use this as one of the "hooks" to get you to upgrade to a paid account.

Bottom line - CONTENT is KING. Google, Bing, et al, will crawl the content AND CONTENT ONLY to gauge the relevance and quality of the blog. URL's are a very low SEO ranking factor as is the name. The blog name and most code remain static, it's only new content that will be crawled and indexed.

There are simple methods to force a crawl each time there is a significant change in content, Google encourages this

I followed AMRN's lead on that one. They thought EPA was significant enough to include it in the drugs name and, enough said.

Using ™ or ® names is not an option for various legal reasons...Also, don't want to piss JT off. Just the opposite...

If the blog is done properly, AMRN, and other sites, may backlink it and might even informally refer people to visit it. This would be one easy measure of success.

Keeping it simple with 5 or 6 pages would be a good start and input on what these pages should be should be discussed.
