I find it that IDCC makes money and trades at its current prices. Other new companies lose money, have very little revenue and users and is worth so much more. I guess BS sells.
Oppo must deposit pending royalties as interim security while its standard-essential patent dispute with InterDigital plays out in India, the Delhi High Court ruled today, February 21. The court directed Oppo to pay a sum amounting to approximately 23% of the counteroffer it made to InterDigital for licensing its SEPs.
Badger no problem. And so you know the courts in India sided with IDCC against OPPO, RealMe and VIVO.
Paullee so you have a date for when the document was made public or published by the court.
Paullee thanks for the High Court finding. I hope they hang Lenovo with the violation of confidentiality. Meaning a IPR rate equal to or above that proposed by IDCC, with an adjustment to the past usage paid at the lower rate from the lower court set rate.
Excuse the typos.
Paullee, maybe it has to do with settling the Case agains the Chinese companies India where the courts found IDCC’s patents were infringed.
Or the article could just be BS.
I never did like Seeking Alpha. And BOfA what is with that.
Gamco thanks for your posts.
Thanks
Since AI is the new big thing for the investment market IDCC should be highlighting AIML to the investing public
DWS where did you find the IDCC story you posted?
Triple witching was an active share day.
Gamco it would be nice if U-blox were to sign the license.
And excuse the typos.
It is awful quiet in here. So here are a few things coming in the or to distant future. For me, hopefully, before the end of the 2nd to 3rd quarter.
Oppo, VIVO and Realme to pay for past infringement per Indian court trial.
Samsung rate arbitration decision to rendered by arb panel.
UK appeals court to issue rate decision issued by lower court favoring Lenovo’s seemingly low rate. Decision in IDCC favor will establish a higher Frand decision.
These are the things that come to me on the top of my mind. Please add to list as you may see fit.
Monterey thanks. The following is from another site discussing apple sales.
What they say about Huawei is significant.
“
Apple’s iPhone sales in the world’s second largest economy, which are critical to its global revenues, nosedived 24% in the first six weeks of 2024, according to a new report from Counterpoint Research. But over that same period, China’s tech giant Huawei saw its sales surge 64%”
Does anyone know if the Huawei license renewed at the end of 2023. The following paragraph is from an article dated April 28, 2020. If accurate Huawei license expired at end of December 2023.
“(Reuters) - InterDigital Inc, a developer of digital mobile and video technology, said on Tuesday it has entered a worldwide patent licensing agreement with China's Huawei Technologies Ltd, and that the companies have settled all litigation against each other.
Shares of InterDigital rose as much as 19.2%.
In a regulatory filing, InterDigital said the licensing agreement runs through 2023, and covers royalties from the sale of some of Huawei's 3G, 4G and 5G wireless telecommunications products.
Paullee thanks for the links.
Bim I agree that IDCC is kicking azz. But we need them do drag the infringers to the vaults.
Paullee for the initial post
I think the India court order pertains to Oppo, OnePlus Technology and Realme Mobile Telecom.

The court criticised Oppo’s attempts to delay proceedings and imposed a penalty, adding that the Chinese company may need to pay more if the trial isn’t concluded this year
Keysight tech is presently trading $147/share. Appears to be a reputable company for IDCC to collaborate with.
IDCC needs to start trading like Nvidia. Or some of the other street darlings. To do so we need a mega patent super essential to phones, tvs, and all electronic devices and computer processors.
We can hope and dream.
What we need is one of the thousand of patents to hit as solely essential for whatever it does. No sharing with Avanci or any other company. Sole source is IDCC. No sharing of royalties.
Is the price the result of short day trading.
Tc I hear yah
A $120 close or any higher high for today is welcomed.
I am waiting I’m on today’s closing price prior to getting to overjoyed at the price. Long and strong with all of you.
Tesla is run by someone who thinks differently to many others. Go GMC and Avanci.
“Thanks to our collaboration with InterDigital, we will further enhance our Origin-Packager and CDN to stream standardized V3C volumetric content to wide audiences.”

MPEG-3 is the designation for a group of audio and video coding standards agreed upon by the Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) designed to handle HDTV signals at 1080p[1] in the range of 20 to 40 megabits per second.[2] MPEG-3 was launched as an effort to address the need of an HDTV standard while work on MPEG-2 was underway, but it was soon discovered that MPEG-2, at high data rates, would accommodate HDTV.[3] Thus, in 1992[4] HDTV was included as a separate profile in the MPEG-2 standard and MPEG-3 was rolled into MPEG-2.[5]
The following from this morning announcement says a lot about the AI aspect to the company.
“InterDigital, Inc. (Nasdaq: IDCC), a mobile, video and AI technology research and development company,”
Fish great reply. LMAO
Fish which end of the horse 🐎 should the ask the questions. The head or ass. lol
Why is it that every time a positive article comes up and the price rises, a move on the stock is made to bring the price back down.
One of these days that inverse trading is not going to work.
Zdog time shall tell the outcome for the shorts and the longs.
