So Benk what is your basis for the statement? (That current management has given up)
Isn’t there a clear case for class action— shareholders suing Marshall’s? It is clear that Marshall’s action caused this chapter 7 filing and if it goes through all shareholders are left with nothing.
Someone with more expertise/knowledge?
OMG there has to be a huge opportunity here. Maybe someone with company contacts could encourage MZEI to reach out here:
(From CNN re NYC mice—)
A yearlong assessment of the city's residential mouse population found that what many of these rodents do carry are previously unseen viruses as well as bacteria capable of causing life-threatening human illness. Some of the bacteria were even antibiotic-resistant.
Currently, our Board and most of executive management are deferring all compensation, including salaries and expenses, in support of ensuring that we're able to proceed with the critical FDA and commercial activities.
Exactly. So wtf is going on.
Apparently Halosil has been successful in converting hospitals in Europe to their mist/fog disinfectant that has EPA verified 99.999999999999999% effectiveness.
Halosil? Anyone know of this company/products etc
Oh no.
Then, the machine sells itself.
This sounds so familiar.
Please let us not enable this dangerous thinking to re-enter into the current MZEI picture.
The first thing he better do is check with whoever issued that certificate and make sure they still have those shares in his name. Believe it or not I had them STEAL (their "legal" term is "escheating") many thousands of shares from me, for which I held the physical certificates. I was able to stop another THEFT (escheat) of over 90,000 shares just in the nick of time.
All they have to do is "claim" they tried to reach you with some info about the company and you could not be found. Hahahaha in today's world. Right. But they legally did it and continue to do this.
Have your friend check.
We've been a similar road barber!! Hopefully it just might be finally winding down to the end of the rainbow:)
.39 is a recent high, but hardly our all time high. I bought my first shares in 1987 for $2.......
Looking forward to the discussion/explanation of this news.
Thank you Ben. That does help a lot and also makes sense.
It seems very good news, especially the emphasis Cogmedix place on FDA compliance.
I hope so I'm in at twenty something
Semper let him know that he can have the actual certificate right in his hand, or safe, and the government could have taken his stock. Happened to me and several family members.
I also have certificates here in USA Anyone with success getting them accepted-- it would be great to have some info. Semper better warn your friend that if he has them in a safe they will be worthless if for whatever reason the issuing company decides they could not reach him. I and several family members had this happen. It is called escheating and is a legal way that states have of stealing your stock.
I sure would love to know how they answered that first question......
Thanks Gelati, just to be clear, are you saying add 21 days to the end of November? Therefore now expect an answer from EPA by December 21?
Thank you WIV
So here we are in December. Does anyone have any idea of an actual date we may hear something from EPA?
Anybody know if the demos took place yesterday in Canada?
Does anyone know if those demos are still in fact going to take place??
Well I sure hope you are right. But judging from the past, and the requirements about releasing "real" news, I'd be very surprised.
I predict that the "news" will be simply a "confirmation" of the appointment to demo in Canada that they were supposed to have back in summer, and was postponed to Sept.
And I would not be surprised if it has been postponed again (due to vacations, birthday parties, fall color, etc).
So anyone know exactly how many days left?
Does anyone know how long a "formal review" takes? It sounds like it is possible that the formal review will start in 21 days. Given the past history, and the current close association with "highly experienced regulatory advisors", it seems very unlikely that MZEI/Shannon would publish this news unless they were really certain of the positive outcome.

Do we actually know that this news is referring to the same Provincial Ministry of Health that was in the June 1 update?
GREENWOOD, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina health officials say an eighth case of E. coli has been traced to a daycare center that's now temporarily closed.
Officials announced the eighth case Monday night. They say at least one child appears to have died from a disease caused by the bacteria.
Owners of the Learning Vine in Greenwood said Monday that it was thoroughly cleaning the center after the outbreak and that they closed it as soon as they got the first indication E. coli might have sickened some children and employees.
The operator says investigators haven't determined how the bacteria got into the center.
State health officials say at least four of the eight cases are the same strain of E. coli. DHEC says it's still collecting and testing samples from the center.
White House unveils plan to fight antibiotic-resistant germs
The Associated Press - By By NEDRA PICKLER - Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House on Friday announced a five-year plan to fight the threat posed by antibiotic-resistant bacteria amid fears that once-treatable germs could become deadly.
Repeated exposure to antibiotics can lead germs to become resistant to the drugs, so that they are no longer effective. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that drug-resistant bacteria cause 23,000 deaths and 2 million illnesses each year in the United States.
The World Health Organization said last year that bacteria resistant to antibiotics have spread to every part of the world and might lead to a future where minor infections like strep throat could kill. Antibiotic resistance also threatens animal health, agriculture, and the economy.
In an interview with WebMD, President Barack Obama said over-prescribing antibiotics is a serious problem.
"Studies have consistently shown that a lot of America's antibiotic use is unnecessary," he said. He said he hopes his plan will create a system to show real-time rates of antibiotic use and where cases of drug resistance are being reported. "If we can see where these drugs are being over-prescribed, we can target our interventions where they're needed most."
The White House's overall goal is to prevent and contain outbreaks of infections at home and abroad. It's aiming to maintain the ability of current antibiotics to fight illnesses and develop new treatments.
The plan is the result of an order Obama signed in September forming a task force on the issue. Obama also has asked Congress to nearly double its funding to fight antibiotic resistance to $1.2 billion.
Critics said the White House needs to go further, particularly in terms of the antibiotics used in animals processed for meat. The Food and Drug Administration has already successfully encouraged many drug companies to phase out the use of antibiotics used for animal growth promotion. But advocacy groups have called on the agency to limit other uses of animal antibiotics as well, such as for disease prevention when holding animals in crowded conditions.
"Once again, the administration has fallen woefully short of taking meaningful action to curb the overuse of antibiotics in healthy food animals," said New York Democratic Rep. Louise Slaughter, a microbiologist who has sponsored legislation to stop routine antibiotic use in animal farming.
"With 80 percent of the antibiotics produced in the United States being used in agriculture mostly for prevention, any meaningful solution to the looming antibiotic resistance crisis must begin with limits on the farm — and trusting a voluntary policy that lets industry police itself will not bring about real change," she said.

Thanks for posting Go...I don't quite understand:
Look what it says for the 2nd item in their guideline for inquiring about companies:
"2) Do they have validation completed, approvals in place and are actually being purchased by hospitals? "
and then:
"The only company I can find that meets those requirements is Medizone International with AsepticSure. If you find another, please let us know so we can check it out."

EPA news:
Congressional climate wars were dominated Tuesday by the U.S. Senate, which spent the day debating, and ultimately failing to pass, a bill approving the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. While all that was happening, and largely unnoticed, the House was busy doing what it does best: attacking science.
H.R. 1422, which passed 229-191, would shake up the EPA’s Scientific Advisory Board, placing restrictions on those pesky scientists and creating room for experts with overt financial ties to the industries affected by EPA regulations.
The bill is being framed as a play for transparency: Rep. Michael Burgess, R-Texas, argued that the board’s current structure is problematic because it “excludes industry experts, but not officials for environmental advocacy groups.” The inclusion of industry experts, he said, would right this injustice.
But the White House, which threatened to veto the bill, said it would “negatively affect the appointment of experts and would weaken the scientific independence and integrity of the SAB.”
In what might be the most ridiculous aspect of the whole thing, the bill forbids scientific experts from participating in “advisory activities” that either directly or indirectly involve their own work. In case that wasn’t clear: experts would be forbidden from sharing their expertise in their own research — the bizarre assumption, apparently, being that having conducted peer-reviewed studies on a topic would constitute a conflict of interest. “In other words,” wrote Union of Concerned Scientists director Andrew A. Rosenberg in an editorial for RollCall, “academic scientists who know the most about a subject can’t weigh in, but experts paid by corporations who want to block regulations can.”
Speaking on the House floor Tuesday, Rep. Jim McGovern, D-Mass., summed up what was going on: “I get it, you don’t like science,” he told bill sponsor Rep. Chris Stewart, R-Utah. “And you don’t like science that interferes with the interests of your corporate clients. But we need science to protect public health and the environment.”
The House, alas, is staying the course, voting this week on two other bills aimed at impeding the EPA, including one that prevents the agency from relying on what it calls “ secret science” in crafting its regulations — but which in reality, opponents argue, would effectively block the EPA from adopting any new rules to protect public health. The trio, wrote Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, D-Texas, in an editorial for the Hill, represents “the culmination of one of the most anti-science and anti-health campaigns I’ve witnessed in my 22 years as a member of Congress.”
The White House has threatened to veto all three.
hahaha...yes...I've been giggling and grinning for 27 (that's t-w-e-n-t-y s-e-v-e-n) years. My first purchase was in Aug of 1987...for, uh, I think...uh...$2 share....and I've been buying ever since, sometimes below .02.
Actually, I don't have all the shares that I purchased, because the state of Tennessee "escheated" (that's es- CHEATED)me, and several family members, out of over 100,000 shares....but that's another story.
Good point NSD. Even if it were not completely replaced, revamped etc. AT LEAST remove all the stuff they put on there that never happened....wow....
There's also another shorter video:
uh, as has been way too much the case with MZEI, this is a premature statement. Yes, there is a possibility, but do you really think that the shutdown has actually ended already?? Or are you just fairly certain that the latest possibility will be approved by all parties necessary, so that the government can in fact be open for business?
Thank you WIV, for your in-depth post! Can you respond to two questions?
-you wrote: "Maybe things will get interesting in the Fall or next year, but that looks to be in one person’s court at this point." Who is that one person?
-Can you (or anyone else!?!) tell us anything at all about Florida? I did not realize there was a single "entity" that owned over 50% of MZEI shares. This seems very significant to all our futures. What at all is known about Florida? How long has the- over 50%- condition been there?
TIA, harp
Pharmal- thanks for this informative post. What you say makes perfect business sense (and common sense). And your "inside" knowledge of this industry makes it all the more credible. It sheds good light on the actual progress made and also the effectiveness of the what is currently being done to move MZEI forward in the marketplace.
I'll tell you what happened to me. I was buying a house and had a near perfect credit rating and income. I had a preliminary approval from the mortgage company for funding and they were going through their process. The selling realtor became impatient, and began emailing, calling, and pestering the mortgage company for a faster response. They smelled something funny and stopped the whole process. I eventually did succeed in getting funding and buying the house, but it took many more months than necessary, and a major effort, since once the first deal was halted it messed everything up. I totally believe that MZEI success and SHARE PRICE is being hampered by the over-eager, over-anxious, amateurish, investors here, many of whom have admitted (ADVERTISED) calling, pestering, and "harassing" potential partners and news sources for MZEI. The combination of this incessant meddling, combined with terrific negativity, is harming the MZEI share price.
